TS1420 I have purchased a song from I tunes by I can't tick it to transfer it to my I pod anybody know why?

I have purchased tunes from iTunes and can't put them on to my iPod shuffle. I can't tick them as they're not highlighted.
PLease help.

Connect the iPad to your computer and select the iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Movies - if you select that tab you can then select which of your films to sync to the iPad's Videos app.

By 'purchased items' do you mean the Purchased link under Quick Links in the store ? If you do then do other songs that you've purchased appear there (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) ?

You can't use the whole song as a ringtone, you would have to create it either by using itunes or an app.

There are a lot of ringtone maker in the app store, do a search. Just make sure you read the reviews before you download it.

If you upgrade to iTunes 10.3, you can redownload your past purchases from the iCloud. Just go to the home page of the iTunes Store and click on "Purchased" under "Quick Links." It will bring up a list of your past purchases that are not currently in your library, with a little arrow icon that lets you download.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

2. select 'itunes' and then 'itunes store' on the right
3. select a topic and a subject
4. click 'continue' and then 'email'
5. fill out the form and explain your situation
6. they will respond within 24 hours usually

You can only purchase content from your own country's store - to be able to buy form the US store you will need a valid US billing address and be in the US when buying from it.
