Thank you for the reply.
You were correct that deleting the app and reinstalling it was the only thing to make it work but unfortunately I lost all the documents I made, even though they were backed up to iCloud before i deleted the app. At the same time as deleting pages I had to delete keynote and numbers too, so I've lost all the documents in them too.
The mb of data which was assigned to each programme in iCloud has reduced, so. I guess they are gone for good. Is there any other way to reaccess them?
Not your fault but I am a bit fed up the the iPad. I have lost work that I've done and have no other copy apart from what was in iCloud, as I don't have a printer and couldn't email them too myself as I couldn't get into the programme and i've also got episodes of tv series I purchased that I can't download and albums that are half downloaded with songs missing, so I feel a bit swindled out of time and money and am going back to DVD , pen and paper and CDs .
Instead of using iCloud I guess the only way to make sure I don't loose any more documents it to email them to myself each time I save them on the iPad. Is there anything else you could suggest please?
I don't have any other apple products apart from iPods, so I can't access the iCloud on anything else can I?

That makes less sense as the sim tray a fairly stiff metal and should be pulled straight out once released. You didn't answer the question about where is was bought. Is is a real iPhone?

Yes indeed. See this thread - I have found a fix, but I am hoping once the engineers see this (Bug filed) that someone has an easier method, or a patch.
Something went wrong with the update in certain instances and it kills the Java plugin. Give this a shot - it takes a bit of time, but worthwhile.

Has anyone else had a problem with the Artist search buttons search peramiters changing after Apples latest ipod update ? I synced my ipod touch recently and it came up with a message saying a new update was available for the ipod but might take an hour .

Last time I synced my ipod touch it ofered me an update for the pod that could take about an hour , I did it and now it doesnt search properly . When I used the Artist tab at the bottom of my ipod before it would find every single song on the ipod by that artist (ie it searched by TRACK Artist) . Now it only find the songs by any given artist that are on Albums by that Artist (ie it searches by ALBUM Artist) What that means is it wont find any song by any Artist on a Various Artist CD . HAS ANYNOE ELSE GOT THIS PROBLEM OR A SOLUTION?

Recently loaded Firefox Update 3.6.15,message appeared saying the file is corrupt. This appears to have impacted our proxy server and ability to stream video from BBC I-player? Has anyone else had this issue with 3.6.15, if so how did you resolve it?

The computer after completing this activity now cannot stream video through our proxy provider from BBC I-player, even though we have ensured we have the latest Flash Plug-in. The system was working perfectly prior to this event. Even if we delete and re-download the update, the file loads and then when asked to run, "File Corrupt message appears. Has anyone else had the problem where Siri on iOS 6 locks the phone after sending a text using a Bluetooth headset. I have the auto lock turned off but I have had it happen many times.

Siri is locking my iPhone 5 running ios6 after sending a text message using my Jawbone icon HD Bluetooth earpiece. Sometimes it will lock before the text is even sent. I have the auto lock turned off.

I have this problem too. Auto lock is off and Siri can be used from the lock screen but this defeats the purpose of hands free usage for example when you are on a bicycle and can't use the phone normally. After sending a message or a reply to one Siri locks the phone and you cannot hear new messages until you unlock the phone which can be potentially dangerous!
I'd love to see if there is a solution as I can't see any option in settings (either Siri settings or pass lock settings) to fix this.

Never had a problem accessing GoToMyPC before Sunday's 10.1 update push. EVER. Now I cannot access it via website or separate downloadable exe. Can't start it from website from IE or Chrome either.

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you have tried ALL the troubleshooting steps recommended and you still have the issue, then there's nothing else you can do. Bring the phone in to Apple for evaluation and probable replacement.
