  • TS1702 in app purchase

    When I try to make an in app purchase in Hay Day game, it asks for my password and then says it lost connection to the itunes store and then denies the purchase?  I don't know why it is doing this.
    I recently upgraded my phone and am using a new one.

    if you are, in fact, using ios 5.0.1, you should definitely update the software and see if that resolves the issue

  • Unauthorized app purchases charged to my credit card.

    On July 26, two reciepts were sent to my e-mail. Each of them charged me $43.46. The receipt said I had purchased app "Trace-zero", Seller: tianming zhang puchased eight times ($4.99 each + tax). I soon found out that these were gifts to people with the usernames "asf" , "dsv", "asv", "asva", and other random letters. I changed my password, and sent apple an email the same day, that to this day was not replied. On July 29, another receipt came totaling $21.73 saying that I have gifted "asf" the same app four more times, and also a bunch of other free apps. This time I removed my credit card information from the apple website, and contacted apple. Unfortunately, their robot sent me again their website. Is there a way to get my money back now?

    If you reported it by:

    I know of no other way except to contest the credit care purchases.

  • TS1702 in app purchases - who is responsible if I don't receive something I paid for?

    I purchased some in app currency and it failed to deliver as my iPad locked up.
    I checked my account and it was debited.
    Whenever I try to go to the "Report a Problem" point, I just get railroaded round in circles.
    Who is responsible and how the **** do I contact them.
    The game was Skylanders Lost Islands and the developer is Activision.  Their website is as useless as Apple for support assistance.

    By the way, that is not the f-word they have crossed out.  It is a refererence to the devil's home.  Apparenlty not appropriate these days.

  • Unauthorized app purchases costing me $15...

    My little sister comes to be every other week or so and asks me to buy her an app on my phone, and I always say no. I tell her to get the free ones and make herself a folder with all of her games in it. So she recently downloaded this Zombie Cafe game and has already purchased $15 worth of "toxin." Apparently what had happened, according to her, was I had just finished getting (buying) a new song on my phone when she had gotten the app and it always tells her to put in a password beforehand, but what I'm thinking is that since I had recently put in my password to get the song, it has that 15 minutes of "free for all" where you can do anything without the need of my password. So she took advantage of this and spent $15 on this little virtual game... Is there any possible way that I could get this money back?
    Also: These purchases were not consecutive. I've been adding songs to my playlist periodically today, and she said that she waits until after I have done so to ask me to use my phone, so she obviously knows what she's doing. How can this be fair? Is there any possible way I could get my money back for her devilish ways???

    All sales are final at the Apple itunes store.  It is your responsibility if you are letting someone else use your iphone to make purchases, free or not.  When you make a purchase and enter a password, that opens the purchase "lane" for 5 or so minutes; i.e. other purchases do not require passwords.  Seems your sister is more knowledgeable than you regarding the ins and outs of iOS.  What's wrong with making her pay for her tomfoolery (I'm being kind).

  • HT4009 how can i get refunds for unauthorized app purchases?

    My child got passed my iPad security. I didn't think he was smart enough. He is five years old. He spent over $100 dollars on Dragon City. I'm actually not sure yet how much he spent, I'm trying to sort through it. He did it within 10-minutes, so it shouldn't be hard to track. The charges go to iTunes. (Their FAQ says that I would need to go to Facebook for reimbursement but not sure how that makes sense.) Anyone have any advice?

    Look at the link Diavonex posted.

    I need to contact Apple for unauthorized charges on my ipad. It got hacked.
    Does anyone know which email I can contact apple on? The site is just endless links with no direct email help.

    You need to get control of your Apple ID back, change the password;
    Manage your Apple ID -
    https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
    Then contact iTunes Support, which can only be done by email;
