I can't purchase anything cause I forgot my security answers and need to no if there is a way I can reset my questions and answers

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

    Yesterday I bought a 25 euro iTunes card and redeemed it on my account.
    Then I wanted to buy some apps and games but it seems like it is not working.
    They are asking for my Security Answer that I forgot!
    Okay I wanted to reset it so It sent a mail to the wrong alternative email address!
    I can't get into that email address because I forgot the password.
    Ok so I have put a new alternative email address but there is no option to send a reset thing to that email..
    Please help me out, some apps are cheap at the moment and I want to buy them fast.
    I have scheduled a call with Apple Support at 10:30 today, but they didn't call me.. while I was waiting like 2 hours.
    I lost hope and I am a bit disappointed.. Can somebody please help me out?

    Alternate emaiI addresses are not used for resetting security questions, only your rescue email address is. If you don't have access to your rescue email account (you won't be able to change the address until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

    If you can't remember your rescue email address (and seeing the reset link via steps 1 to 5 on this page doesn't help you remember it) then you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
    e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
    or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

  • How can I edit my recovery email cause I forgot my security answers

    Here is the thing: when I registered my Apple ID accidentally I confused my email address I wrote down the nick of one account and after the "@" I wrote the wrong email services provider. So I don't even know if that email address exists because is a frankenstein mail. Besides I forgot my security answers.
    Some weeks ago I've been blackmailed in order to erase one Ipad I use to have until was stolen from my car in August 2014. I locked that device and  right now these people is threatening me with take over all my emails and social networks unless I liberate (by erasing it from my devices) that Ipad.
    I want to establish two steps verification for my AppleID but its either impossible without the security answers or the email recovery access.
    I am right now in Venezuela and in this country Apple customer services are not available by phone or online assistance.
    Anybody can help me please?

  • Can't Purchase anything in App Store, Additional Security Information Needed

    I am trying to make a purchase from the App Store in Snow Leopard 10.6.8, but can't make any purchases. When I try to purchase, I get the message, "Additional security information is needed. To use this Apple ID you must first login to the my info web page then provide additional security information." But when I click on Update Security Info, it brings me to a page at https://myinfo.apple.com/ but the page will not load, and it says that Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server. I have also tried it in Firefox and it does not work there either.
    I went to the Apple Store online, and updated my account info with the proper credit card and information, but it has not helped. What is going on here.
    This is for my bosses account and not my account, and we need to purchase some software for this machine, but are completely unable.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I'm having the same issue.  We have recently signed up for the Volume Purchase Program.  I created the Facilitator account, logged into the VPP site, then got a message that additional information was needed.
    When I click the link to "Update Security Info", I get an error page on the browser...
    I have tried the same process in Firefox and received a similar message...
    I then proceeded to try the same thing on a Windows 7 computer with Internet Explorer, no good...
    Next, I thought the problem might be related to my firewall, so, I attempted it on a computer OUTSIDE the firewall, no good.
    Then, I tried it from home on my ipad, no good...
    Anyone have any ideas?

    Assuming that you have a credit card in the UK, with a valid billing address for that credit card that matches the credit card statement ....
    Launch the app store app. Go to the Featured Tab. Swipe to the bottom of the screen. Your ID is accessible in the lower left corner. Tap on the ID. Then tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Go down to Country/Region and change the store to the UK in there.

    Either that or you can just buy an iTunes card and put it on the account. I've have itunes account for a long time so maybe this plays a part in it but I don't have a CC tied to my account. I have the option to choose "none" and that's what I have it as. I used to have a card on there years ago but I removed it and never had to have another on it. Any purchases I make come from iTunes credits (iTunes card or credits I got from redeeming rewards).

    If all else fails:
    Go to: Apple Express Lane;
    Under Product Categories choose iTunes;
    Then choose iTunes Store;
    Then choose Account Management;
    Press Continue;
    Now choose iTunes Store Security and answer the bullet questions, then click Continue;
    Sign in with your Apple ID and press Continue;
    Under Contact Options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would like your security/challenge questions reset;
    Click Send.
    You should get a response within 24 hours by email.
