TS3899 I am receiving incoming emails on my iphone5, but my replies sit in the out box for days. I have checked the IP address, etc and that all seems to be correct. Any suggestions please?
I recently purchased an iphone 5.
All the settings have been copied over from my MacPro and all seems to be working fine EXCEPT for out going emails.
Emails come in even when I am out at work, but can I reply - NO - replies sit in the out box for days and then suddenly disappear. I have check all the settings and they seems fine. I have tried turning off the wireless and turning it back on. Some time that works.
Why am unable to send emails even when I am at home near my router?
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
OK, that at least means that you won't have to start from scratch again;-)
You could try to re-install only the SyncServices.framework framework since that seems to be broken or corrupt - using Pacifist, you can re-install only parts of the original system from your original disks.
Another approach would be to re-install the latest system update - this is probably the easier solution and might already be enough:

Most of your purchases content can be downloaded again via the Purchased tabs in each of the store. I realize that this will be a problem for the iTunes Store on the iPad, but that has nothing to do with apps, since apps are in the App Store.
If you backed up synced with iTunes before you restored the iPad, your content should be in iTunes on your Mac and you should be able to sync it back again. -

I am working on SSRS 2008 R2. On Preview report in report builder itself, i am getting an error "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt".

According to the error message, I guess that the error occurred when you previewed the report in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS).
Based on my research, I think it may be a Window Layout issue of Visual Studio. Please try the steps below:
Click “Window” button from the toolbar ribbon.
Click “Reset Windows Layout” option.
Click “Yes” to finish the operation.

wi-fi button on 4S has greyed out and cant turn on wi-fi , any suggestions please ?
First try a simple reset by holding down the home and power button for 15 to 30 seconds until you see the silver apple, then let the device start normally. If issues still persist, you will need to restore and update the iPhone from iTunes on your pc or mac. If after the restore still grey your device may need service or replacement.

Months ago I tried to uninstall itunes from Windows 7 after an update failed. I couldn't complete it because two files (ShellStreams.resources and ShellStreams.dll ) were in use. I'm ready to try again. Any Suggestions, please.
See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for tips on repairing the iTunes installation. One of the tools mentioned there, Unlocker, should be able to force delete the files that you are having trouble removing.

The past couple of times I've plugged my iPod into iTunes it has said it's failed to sync it to my iTunes and hasn't allowed me to put music onto my iPod so I plugged it in today and it told me I needed to restore my iPod to be able to sync my music, photos, etc, onto my iPod and wasn't letting me do anything else with my iPod on iTunes, so, I was forced to restore it if I wanted to actually put more music on to my iPod. Restoring is not a great issue with myself because I always make sure to have folders saved on my laptop with back ups of photos and music, but, when I did restore it and it finished it popped up with this message:
So, I clicked okay and it told me for the recovery of my iPod I had to restore it again. I restored it. Again. It came up with this message. Again.
Can someone please help me? I will be very grateful!

I have the 1st generation iPad. All of a sudden it will not connect to my wi-fi. It finds my wi-fi, but will not totally connect. I have done everything...reset network, rebooted router etc and it still will not connect. My other divices are connected....iPhone and 3 Macs. Any suggestions?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Your link is not working for me so I'll do my best to give you my thoughts.
I don't know how much you know about color correction/grading so please don't be offended if I appear to be stating anything you already know or that seems obvious.
Unfortunately, when a clip is over exposed and parts of the image are 'blown out' there is no way to get the information back... That is to say, it becomes unfixable. If it is overexposed, but not blown
out, than using 'curves' or even the effects you mentioned should do the trick; I'm assuming they are blown out though as you mentioned these things and are still asking the question... So:
As for blown out footage, I have a few suggestions:
Re-shoot.
Depending on the type of production the footage is involved in, and the nature of the image itself (like I said, the link doesn't work so I can't see what is 'over exposed') you can try to use the blown out parts of the image in a stylistic effect... Perhaps there is some effect you can go for that will turn those over exposed pieces into something that looks like it's suppose to be that way. (This is very hard, but has saved me in a tight spot before on a music video; granted, music videos are so much easier to edit than almost anything else.)
Magic Bullet Looks has a 'shoulder' effect (you could also just do it yourself with curves if you don't have MBL) that just take the brighter whites of an image and brings them down a bit without effecting the midtones or blacks. This helps make the blow-outs less noticable as their isn't so much contrast.
Similiar to number '2' but have to throw it in because it could help... With an over exposed shot all the highlights of your image will be blown out and thus 'pure white.' You can use the 'key' effect to target the blown out pieces of your footage and perhaps replace it with a color, texture, or image that is less noticable/more suitable?

Once you install OS X 10.6 and use Software Update, you'll be at OS X 10.6.8 and can download Mountain Lion from the App store. Make sure your system can run Mountain Lion by checking here. While 2GB memory is the minimum, 4GB is recommended.
You probably know when you install Mountain Lion (or Lion 10.7) that PowerPC programs will no longer run, as Apple dropped that support. People running Office 2004 got surprised when it wouldn't work after the upgrade. Office 2008 and later are fine. -

Upgraded to 5.0.1 and now all keynotes are blank. Any ideas please?
I just upgraded to iWork 09 and then as software update instructed, upgraded to 5.0.1..
Now any new keynote or any old keynote file opens, shows the slides in the slide organiser on the left but the main slide window is completely blank.
I drag a picture in, nothing, blank. I edit some type and change colours... nothing.
Any old keynote I open has the slides there, I can export as powerpoint, pdf or anything else, but cannot edit in main window as there is nothing there.
No theme data is there. Slides are blank. Even applying a theme retrospectively has no effect.
I have repaired permissions, nothing particularly doing.
No change.
I am now stuck. I can try reinstalling, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Removed the Application support files and the Application folder for iWork 09.
Re-installed iWork 09
Tested to see if the slides now work
