How to stop downloading app in ipod touch 8gb 2G

I have an Apple iPod Touch 8GB 2G. I started downloading an app without seeing its file size, then when I checked the file size I was shocked by seeing the size of the file and then thought of cancelling/aborting the dowload which was goin on. I need a way to stop the download any how ??? Help Appreciated.

I have the RSS feed of a podcast that I'd like to download (not just stream) and play on my iPod Touch 4G running iOS 6. I have the Podcasts App (purple icon) and the Music App (brownish-orange icon).
What must I do? When I tap the Podcasts App, It says "You can subscribe to podcasts in Top Charts or the Podcasts Store". Is it possible to bypass Top Charts and the Podcasts Store and just load the RSS feed URL into some app? I don't think the podcast I want to add is found in either Top Charts or the Podcasts Store.

You are correct my response was supposed to be completely useless for this thread because it is my pet peeve when somebody says 'iTouch' Please see the picture below to see that the OP did indeed use 'iTouch'.
If you look carefully at your first reply it says 'iPod Touch', looks like they changed it after I said something.

Select this new bookmark. Now Safari will let you modify an address of this bookmark. Delete the old address and paste the text from the clipboard (GoodReader has prepared this special text for you). Save the modified bookmark address. Selecting this bookmark when a page of interest is opened is the same as adding the g letter in front of this page's address.
Please note that this technique doesn't always work with secure servers. If it doesn't, then try browsing for this file in GoodReader's built-in web-browser, rather than in Safari.

Starting at the end:
- When the movie or tv show does transfer onto your iphone/ipod touch you will be able to see it in the expanded view of your device in the "DEVICES" section.
- If the files are not on your device, then:
-- confirm you have SD or HD-SD video. HD-only content will not play and probably will not even sync. iTunes seems to reliably have SD versions with their HD distributions so this should not be an issue
-- confirm you are synch-ing the content to the ipod device by browsing the DEVICE view's Movie or TV Show tabs to confirm the movie or episode is 'checked'
- If the files are on the iPod and you cannot find them, check your Settings: General for Restrictions. If you restrict, for example the movies to "G" rating. PG and higher movies will sync but you will not be able to find them on the iPod!
