TS4020 So, Apple devices are personal and not really meant to be used by multiple persons (even from the same family)?
Does each person in a family necessarily need to own a personal device? Shareable devices like television or radio have been useful and have helped family or friendly bonding. Of course, it may be difficult to make a device such as a mobile phone a shareable device, but wouldn't it be helpful for all device owners to have the freedom to share their devices (with their family members or partners, for example)?

Have one WiFi signal into the apartment for my Air, and another wifi signal for my 5c phone plan. Both from the same provider. Expensive. Is there a way to 'combine' WiFi signals so I pay only for one, but can get on the Internet with my Air?
Roamingnome, thanks for your response. Although I have been a Bell (Canada) customer for my WiFi signal for years, the 5c and its necessary mobility plan, is very recent. Some years ago, Bell supplied its own ‘router’ for my computer, and claimed that it was possible to get their WiFi signal only with the router they supplied. When I recently received the 5c, I wondered if the plan it requires, which is within the much wider, overall Bell zone, could be used somehow to get my Air online - some sort of tethering? - that allows me to give up the Air WiFi service and router all together, but still get the Air connected. Here in Canada, Bell Mobility and other Bell services are very separate. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have a new ipad2 for xmas . I have tried to sync the device to itunes and it is not being seen. I have the latest version of itunes, updated last night, and have several other devices that are seen fine (iphone/ipods).
When I connect the usb direct to the mac iphoto starts but then that is it - itunes will not recognise the device......

Is there software available where all I have to do is hit print and any of the 4x6 printers will print? Once I get this issue settled, I'll get a second larger format. I have to get this rectified because of time and ease. As mentioned, I have a second mac that I share screens with so my assistant can find pics for customers while I'm shooting. So, I can print through that mac to the printer. (ie....print to canon@##%#@Mac 2) I don't want to bring a third computer just to print to three of the same model printer. (That's what I've been doing) BTW....I totally know there are faster dye-sub printers out there but I'm about 4 more events from purchasing one...($$$) Some print under 10 seconds. I would appreciate any answers out there. Thank you.
I don't have that printer and I'm not on Mac, so someone else has to step in there. Generally a green/magenta cast indicates none/double printer color management. But then I don't know what you mean by "slight".
The Spyders aren't the most consistent and reliable calibrators out there. I had a Spyder 3 sensor that I just threw away because it gave a distinct red cast (I have several other calibrators, so there was no doubt). Another potential problem is that with most calibrators you can only adjust the white point along the blue/yellow Kelvin scale, but not on the green/magenta scale. This is often necessary to get a good white point color. In this case you need to use the monitor's OSD controls, and if possible the "pre-calibration" function in the calibrator to measure and monitor it - if that function exists. And I don't know if this is possible with an iMac.
This is basically a question of getting the white point right, both on the blue/yellow and the green/magenta axis (and luminance of course). The goal is to get a visual match to paper white on screen. With the white point properly set, neutral color balance relates to that, and the rest more or less follows by itself. (In addition you should set the proper black point/contrast for full control, but that's not the issue here). -

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > underthe Mail section - Default Account.
Any email you start will use this account by default but you can change this manuall by tapping the email address in the From field. That whill bring up a dial to select the email address you want to send from. -
How can I find out what is on my macbook that results in continual usage and usage charges from the satelite dish when turned on, even in the middle of the night- which doesn't happen with my other macs?
I have BusyCal installed, but no alarms that I could find.
However, I do think I've found the source of the sound: the Firefox add-on "LiveJournal." It routinely checks my LJ and plays a "ding.wav" file whenever there are new posts to my Friends' page. I noticed that the sound started happening more frequently, but after I closed Firefox, it stopped. But since Firefox didn't have any sound/notification settings on its own, I thought to check the extensions, and voila!
I'm pretty sure the problem is solved, but who knows if the sound will mysteriously return...

Get Min value and another column value from the same row
hi all - for each customer and product, I need to grab the row that has the min value for field Value1. I could've just done group by on customer and product and min on Value1, but I also need to grab Vlaue2 from the same row where the minimum value for
Value1 lies.

Why do we not receive 5 gb of free cloud storage space for the multiple Apple devices my wife and I have purchased? Seems only fair.
logical. fair. I can understand the confusion in policy as another fine cloud service - DropBox - has a different model for increases in free storage amounts for one account = evangelism. As many policies as there are services probably.

When i use my laptop to make an iTunes store purchase, it always asks me to verify my account details by entering my credit card verification number. After i do this i then receive an email stating "Your Apple ID, ..., was just used to purchase ... from the iTunes Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID."
My Laptop is my home device and apart from purchasing app's on my iphone 4, i only use my laptop to make itunes purchases.I'm having a similar problem. I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order. Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too. No money was removed from my iTunes account & theses particular shows aren't in my iTunes library on my desktop. I've tried every which way to delete them from my ipad, but can't. I went to the Apple store & they suggested I contact expresslane.apple.com for help. I submitted my problem, via email Friday, as they asked, but have not received any response. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these "phantoms?".

Our family has several apple devices, iPad, touch, and now iMac, our original iTunes are all under a different apple id. do we keep our own accounts even in cloud? do we all have access to each others media? (First time out with all this..)
There is no problem about using one ID for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match, and another for iCloud and its email and syncing facilities. This way you can all use the same iTunes account but have separate emails and calendars etc.

I bought my macbook pro on August 2011 at an apple store, with the Intel i7. However mirrorring in not working with two of my Apple TVs. These Apple TVs are 2nd and 3rd generation loaded with the latest software. I can succesfully transmit from my itunes on my Macbook pro to both Apple TVs, but I can not see the airplay icon on the taskbar. Can someone help?

Do not use MS Word for Mac, it does not support Arabic. Instead use Mellel, TextEdit, Nisus Writer or OpenOffice. Try the font Geeza Pro if others do not work.
