4.Problem Description: I recently bought a new computer (3weeks) with this tv card build in. A had one day colour television, but after a day it went to black and white + the sound wasnt synchronised with the image. At the moment i dont have anything at all. All that i see over all the chanels, is black. + the remote who had been delivered with the card never worked.I already tried an other tv cable but that didnt fixed anything.
The program used to watch tv is DTV (deliverd with the card)
What do i have to do?

TV@nywhere and WDM driver problem-a weird one!

I just bought a TV@nywhere card, as an upgrade to my old Hauppauge WinTV card... I installed all the driver updates, and it looks and works great using the MSIPVS software. But, whenever I try to use the card with any software that uses the "Microsoft WDM Image Capture" driver, the video is either green or black and white with tiny vertical lines running through it. ;(
I made sure all the references to my old card were deleted from the registry, I reinstalled the TV@nywhere drivers... Nothing seemed to help.
Some Windows programs (like netmeeting) don't even recognize that I have a video device at all, and the ones that do give me the b&w or green screen.
Here's the weird part:
Finally, out of desperation, I opened Windows Movie Maker 2, the default program that comes with Windows. It named the Conexant chipset by name, and I was able to use it to record from my TV@nywhere card! Success! After doing this, I tried the programs that provided the B&W/green screens before, and they worked fine!
I thought I had permanently fixed the problem!
But now, every time I reboot, those programs that use the "Microsoft WDM Image Capture" driver go back to B&W/green... I have to run Windows Movie Maker 2 every time I reboot, record like a 5 second video, and close it to make these other programs behave normally. I'm out of ideas as to why this is happening. Can anyone help?

Well, I am using XP, and WMM 2 comes with XP. The recording quality seems to be the same in MSIPVS and WMM 2.
Something else I noticed... I downloaded some new webcam software, and it lists 2 drivers: the same WDM video driver (with the same problems I described) and also a DIRECTX capture driver, which lists the Conexant chipset by name, and captures fine.
Could this be a DirectX issue? I am using DirectX 9.0a . I e-mailed MSI 3 days ago with a question about this but received no response. This forum is my only hope in solving this.

What's wrong with it is it's broken. The power button is broken. The dock port may be broken. The battery may have reached the end of its useful life.

Msi 651 and tv@nywhere card with CRAPPY sound

I have a msi 651 and tv@nywhere card. I have the sound running from the tv card to the mic. in card on the motherboard. The sound is very tinny and hollow and sounds like garbage. Also whenever I start the program I have to manually open my volume control and turn up the volume of the wave. any suggestions?

In front of the CDAudioIn connector there is another "aux" connector called CN16 (or was it CN13?) This "aux" audio connector is a TVAudio connector. If your TVCard has an internal AudioOutput connector, you only have to connect the TVCard with the TVAudioInput (CN16) using a standard CDAudio cable. Else, you have to build a cable with a CDAudio connector on one side and a 3.5 stereo connector on the other side.

Graphics card and CD problems

I recently partitioned my hard drive into two primary partitions and installed Solaris 9 x86 on one of them.
The first problem I had was kdmconfig. I have an nVidia GeForce4 graphics card, and it was not listed - only up to geforce3 was listed. I tried that, but the test did not work. I got an error (something about InitScreen and SUNWnvidia). I eventually chose the topmost option (16 colors at 640x480) and that one tested fine, but obviously, its a horrible display. How would I get a Solaris driver for my GeForce4? I believe I would need it on a floppy (or a series of floppies) so that I can choose Add Driver and use the floppies. However, I do not know where to find these drivers.
Secondly, after it prompted me to insert CD2, it gave me an error saying CD2 could not be read. I burned the CD2 image at 20x (rather than the normal 40x) and it still gave me this error. How do I get past it?
Finally, Solaris has blocked my entrance to Windows XP. When I start up my computer, I get a SunOS blue-background with two choices: the Solaris partition and my Windows partition. Choosing my windows partition gives me an error (saying some sig file could not be found) and choosing the Solaris partition starts the device configuration manager which eventually leads me to the desktop login screen (black and white, horrible resolution). How do I get to Windows XP?

TV @nywhere master - infared remote problem

I bought the card a few days ago and it runs perfectly fine. I installed the latest software from the MSI site. The only thing is the remote doesnt work. Doesnt respond at all. Ive tried reinstalling the software, unplugging the reciever and re plugging it back and replacing the batteries on the remote and nothing solved it.
I cant figure it out, was just wondering if i could get some help please.

Good luck with resolving your problem. Before you go out and buy a new power supply though expecting to resolve your problem, I would investigate the software end a bit more.
I may sit down and play around with my remote control and get a better understanding of how it works. If I run into anything else that might be useful, I'll be back.

E72_SIM Card register fail problem

I just buy nokia E73 about 1 week. It has a problem with my phone ,It push a message to notify that SIM card register fail. Since I use my phone 1 week , it notify every day that I solve it by turn off phone and turn on again after that it has a network. I can call out , if sim card register fail which I can not phone. If you have a solution to solve this problem,please help me too. I am not sure that it cause from SIM CARD or phone. It will update firmware again or not. I must go to Nokia shop to change phone or solve it ?????

HT1918 Credit Card and Paypal problem

Im having a problem selecting my payment method. If I choose my credicard(MasterCard) apple say this creditcard was declined (and the card is perfect). If I choose the Paypal Apple ask me to contact the support. What am I suppose to do ??

The credit card then is registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and it was issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

WMP200 and WMP54G Wi-Fi PCI cards installed on PC.
My infrastructure is WLC 2106 and two APs 1231G and one 1242G.
The problem is that the cards have problem with connection to WLAN.
The broadcast SSID must be enable then the cards connect to WLAN otherwise is a problem with connection.
When the card is connected but connection is unstable and poor.
The cards have the newest firmware installed.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Have you associated other types of clients with these AP's? If so, do they perform better?
You might want to start by checking the status of the poorly performing client on the controller while it's connected:
monitor -> clients
You'll primarily be interested in the RSSI and SNR. The other counters such as 'excessive retries' should be observed as well.
Also check the AP's radio interface stats. Check for excessive interference or channel utilization.

Intel cards and aironet problems

I have SSIDs configured on 1231's to support WPA/WPA2. They work fine with Cisco cards/supplicants but intel proset cards (2915ABG for one / I tried the latest drivers from dell and intel) seem to have issues. They will see the SSID and associate, but never pull down an IP address. ACS server shows it as a passed authentication, the AP shows it as associated and not authenticated. The AP config is below. Can anyone offer any suggestions or explanations? Thanks!

I ran into a similar problem on one of my ssid's using the Intel client. That particular ssid is configured for WPA-PSK (TKIP + AES). It turns out the Intel client profiles have a check mark for "personal security" or "enterprise security". For some reason mine would not work with personal security selected. When I enabled enterprise security and selected WPA and TKIP (WPA)it works fine. It does not make sense but that fixed my problem.

Increasing RAM will always help. Especially since you are running with only 256 MB RAM, for any type of work now days I would recommend 512 MB, if not 1GB. Now if you are getting LabVIEW to crash with a minimal application going this may indicate other problems. If you have a memory leak in your program, that could cause a crash and with 256 MB of RAM you will see a crash sooner, but it can still happen even with 512MB or 1GB. So double check for any memory leaks. Minimize the number of programs running in the back ground. If LabVIEW crashes with any kind of error, that would give us a good indication what is going on.

Lately, my iphone 4 is giving me the "SIM Card is not installed" message, whereas a SIM card is installed. Do you have any solutions for this problem?

Ihave the same identical problem with my iphone 4s. it's locked to bell canada ,but I live in the cayman islands, I already contacted the carrier and they said that only apple will unlock the phone,I used GEVEY ultra S ,and worked fine until yesterday when I upgraded to ios 6 :-( . and according to apple there is no way to downgrade.hope we find a solution soon for this issue.

6288 Memory Card file size problem...

I have a Nokia 6288 which I recently purchased as part of a contract with `Three'. It's a great phone and so I purchased and installed a 1Gb mini-sd memory card to go with it. I wanted the memory card for storing and listening to downloaded .mp3 podcasts, but I now find that I cannot copy individual files of greater than about 12 Mb to the memory. (The podcasts are typically 15 - 20 Mb each.) Why is this, and what do I need to do to overcome the problem? Help appreciated.

I was expecting you to say bluetooth. You shouldn't face this problem using a cable, very strange.
Are you sure that you are sending the file to the memory card, not the phone memory?
When you connect the phone are you given an option as to which transfer mode you want to use? If it gives you the choice try mass storage mode.

B540P Win 8 Solution for Graphics card, touchscreen & Sound problem!

First of all,.. It irritates me that I had to use 2 days of nonstop testing to find my OWN 100% working solution to make my All In One work. There has been absolutely no helpful info from the support staff of Lenovo on this problem. And it seems that quite a few users have had the same problem as me. Now,.. If there was no solution yet for the driver compatibility for running WIN 8, it would have been fair But as there is obviously a WORKING solution, it irritates me that the staff haven't been able to find out what I did. I mean,.. win8 is new,.. But NOT that new, so the staff should be able to provide a solution much much sooner. If I wasn't a real TechGeek, who have been messing around with this since the birth of PC's, I would probably have had no chance to resolve this problem on my own. Which would have resulted in me delivering an otherwise really amazing computer back, as it would have been close to impossible to use.
Now for the solution:
When I installed win 8, I was pretty fast left with a bunch of problems. Touch was glitchy, the touch soundbar was stuck on top left corner, which left the PC hanging. Graphics card was standard and it was impossible to use apps like Netflix etc. To solve this problem do following:
A. Install realtek audio driver version 6.0.1.6662 (if you already have a stuck soundbar, disable sound under devicemanager first. This will make you able to use the pc if it also hangs)
B. Install Nvidia driver version 9.18.13.593 ) link: http://support.lenovo.com/en_GB/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS031642&rss=true IMPORTANT!!: when installing nvidia driver choose custom and untag the audio driver. If you install Nvidia's audio driver, you will get all the problems, witch stuck screen, stuck volume bar, as this is where the compatibility issues is. Only install the Graphics and Physx software, and you will be fine
C. Install FN Keyboard driver
If you did as above your now fine to go with a B540P that will run as it's supposed to . No more stuck of anything!
You can also install the the win7 driver for remote control. I'm still yet to make the TV tuner card work, as I didn't have the time to look into that yet. Will most likely have a solution on that in 1 days time, when I get the chance to look deeper into it. Will of course post solution here when I got it.

Well from what you write im pretty sure its in the resolution and/or refresh rate the problem is located. That will make your monitor shut down or not turn on if set wrong. From what i remember also analog and dvi have a different range of refresh rates. What about hdmi? Does the card have this? So you could try connect it to the tv,. Some tvs also have DVI. I would try find a tv or monitor with pure dvi, not using analog adapter.,.. connect it,. If it turns on. Lower resolution and refresh rate and connect it back again to your monitor. If that doesnt work that would leave me puzzled . Thinking back,.. I actually remember I had a smiliar problem in the past,. I just can't remember how it was solved,. But the "error" was in the whole resolution, refresh rate, analog adapter vs dvi spectre.,.. maybe it was something with the dvi to analog adapter,.. hmm can't remember.. Well anyways. Put your focus there. Not on the win8 drivers for now at least
