[TV@Plus] record sound garbeled after recording

Just installed for first time
Recording seems to be ok, after play back of the mp3 file in windows, the sound is badly garbled
TV @nywhere plus driver 2.4.0.4

The ordinary cabel goes into the set top box in one room this then has what ever it needs for us to see tv on the TV
but we can still get some channels without the box.
The computer is connected to another cable lead in the house so although we cna't gett he channels which are on the set top box we would get the rest still.
I have the jack connected now to the line in this is how I got the radio after I read through the questions here.

Check the output settings in GarageBand's preferences > Audio/Midi pane.
And in the System Preferences > Sound panel.
Also check the settings in Audio Midi Setup Utility.

Sound problems after export media in premiere pro cs6

hello,
i recently started usining premiere c6 and after exported my project to mpeg-dvd i noticed that sound quality is reasonably lost, than exported sound separatedly without video to wav and result was the same bad. The imported sound source was really good, recorded in studio- wav 24 bit 48000. Before i used cs3 and never had such a sound problem after export video.

Microsoft Money Plus No Sounds in Windows 7

Using Microsoft Money Plus which I bought online using a downloaded file. Works fine except all the sounds are gone, like when you first start money, enter new transactions, finish balancing your account, everything. They were all there on Vista but now gone. If you go to the Windows sounds and find the Money section, nothing is assigned where in Vista, Money-specific sound files were listed.
Any help? New Money program on the way, perhaps?

Diamond Plus Crackling Sound issue

i noticed that the diamond plus's sound chip (the audigy, that is) is directly next to the 2nd pci-ex slot, i am running dual 7900gtx for sli and when i play some games like chaos theory or FEAR, after a while the audio begins to cackle.
this sucks.
could it be heat from the vid card? my box is ghetto, it is laying on its side with the cover off... i am not overclocking anything at the moment, by the way.
just wondering if anyone else experiences this...i think when i get home i am gonna switch to single card mode and see if the problem persists.

Even the ZS will blow away that onboard SE, which isn't much more than a hopped-up Live! chip. Not to mention getting the sound HW off the board itself does help interference wise.
Edit - BTW with whatever you decide, use the latest drivers from the Creative Website. Get the drivers only, ones that ship in the box are almost always crap. Especially in the case of the ZS (& prob the onboard too). Avoid their "bloatware" apps at all costs.

Sound problems after iOS 4.2 upgrade

Experiencing very poor sound quality after iOS 4.2 upgrade. Bad eq, left channel dropping out, sounds like heavy reverb. Exists with iPod and pandora apps. Tried adjusting eq in settings. Any one else having problems?

Yep I just upgraded to new OS 4.2 on iPhone 4 and I get this static buzz sound when talking to people it's really annoying and sound quality is terrible. What happened? I went back to the shop and they said it's the upgrade and that there is an issue with it. They also said there is no point leaving the phone with them as they can't fix it that it's upto apple to release a patch for the problem. Can we get a fix for this soon before I damage my ears?

Sound Problem After Installing iOS 8.1

Hello, after updating my iPad to iOS8.1 it started making weird noises, kind of the same ones you get while blocking it or getting a notification but with a little of a "robotic" twist. Restoring it seemed to had fix it until I tried to get the 8.1 again. I was just wondering if someone its having the same issue, and if so, whats the solution. Do you think that i'll be treated on the 8.2 version? I had the same problem with my iphone 4 once and couldnt get it sorted out.

I successfully got my iPhone 6 messages sound by following Timothy Holt directions.

What you have to do, and this appears to be essential after you update the OS, is to reboot your phone.
1. Hold down the sleep/wake button and home button simultaneously.
2. Let go when the Apple logo appears and the iPhone is booting up.

Sound distortion after virtual sound installation on Satellite A80

Usually the sound should be much better using this tool. I can really not explain why this happen. Try to reinstall sound driver.
The unit is delivered with WXP Home and I assume that you try to install your own OS, probably professional edition. All drivers and tools should work properly with WXP professional too. Please check the installation instructions that can be also downloaded from Toshiba download site (http://support.toshiba-tro.de/tools/Satellite/sa80/win-xp/install-xp-na.zip). All this stuff must be installed in particular order.

5.1 sound in After Effects?

How do I import and export 5.1 sound in After Effects?
I have version 5.5.
The file will then be converted to a dcp file

The sound comes from an editor who is a pro and knows how to deliver 5.1.
I also have premiere ( 5.5 ) so I guess I can import the film and the audio in there and then export for a convert to DCP.
Or if I understand you right I can use a CDP processing software like

I don't have any sound more after I have installed winxp home on my Pro 4600. I used the problem solve wizard but without any improvements. I have also installed the latest sound driver and bios.

Secondary sounds done after export

hi i never was thinkig that i get a bigger problem then my mother in law but here it is
after export a video with secondary sounds on audio 3 audio2 .. i have only the sound from the audio sound1 and by the way the sound is after the export realy quiet and only on the left box. i export it on F4V ... mp4 .. h264 .. but all times the sound effekts was done.. can someone help me with this problem to fix it ? (have adobe premiere elements 10 )

Welcome to the forum.
For those supplemental Audio files (the ones not Exporting), what are their formats? Some users have had issues with MP3 files.
When you playback your Timeline, do you hear the Audio, from all Audio Tracks, properly?
When you playback your Timeline, with the Audio Mixer Panel open, do you see the meters behaving correctly?

When no headphones are plugged in and I try to use the volume control on side sound effects comes up but no sound is made. I get sound over main speaker when i adjust alert volume. I restarted and downloaded iOS 6 update with no results.

Try this:
1. Settings>General>Use Side-Switch To>Lock Rotation.
2. Double-click the Home button and swipe Task Bar to the right.
3. Make sure the button on the far left of Task Bar is not muted

Have you tried copying it to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and seeing if it plays ok on your computer ? If it does then try deleting it from your iPad and then sync it back and see if it then plays. Video player in iPod 60Gig. Sound stops after a while playing large clips

I have been converting DVDs and large video clips into iPod MPEG 4 format for the iPod with the Xilisoft DVD to iPod Converter 4. This softwrae works just great and the files plays well on my PC with Quick Time player as well as others. When loaded to the iPod they all start OK but the sound disapears after a while. If I fast-forward or backward then it works for a while again.
I do not see this behaviour with short clips (3-5 minutes)
As far as I can see this is related to the MPEG4 player in the iPod. Anyone have a similar problem or some resolution to it.

But I just discovered that that it is actually not only the sound that stops working but rather the whole video that has a "hick-up" and then when it continues the sound is gone. If I fastforward/rewind then it seem like the player rocovers and play the stream correctly again.
What are the Mp4 clip prefs you have used when converting?
I am planning to try some other settings when converting to see if that makes any difference but I doubt it will help. I think we will have to wait for a "better" i.e. working Video Player for the iPod ...

Try "resetting" the device...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
