Tween executes, then parameter returns to default value.

Hey, I trying to do two simultaneous tweens of two movie
clips(when someone rolls over a different movie clip), one is just
an image, the other contains a static text field with the word
contact in it. here's my code
rus_mc.onRollOver = function () {
rus_mc._x += 3;
rus_mc._y += 3;
new mx.transitions.Tween(logo_mc, "_alpha",
mx.transitions.easing.Regular.easeIn, 100, 0, .5, true);
new mx.transitions.Tween(contact_mc, "_alpha",
mx.transitions.easing.Regular.easeOut, 0, 100, 1, true);
rus_mc.onRollOut = function () {
rus_mc._x -= 3;
rus_mc._y -= 3;
new mx.transitions.Tween(logo_mc, "_alpha",
mx.transitions.easing.Regular.easeOut, 0, 100, 1, true);
new mx.transitions.Tween(contact_mc, "_alpha",
mx.transitions.easing.Regular.easeIn, 100, 0, .5, true);
Whats really weird about it is that it worked great the first
5 times I ran my movie, then the movie with the text box in it
started acting really funny. When I rollout, the contact_mc tween
either doesn't even happen, or at the end the _alpha value of the
movie with the text in it jerks back from 0 to 100, and then it
stays there.
I have ran into this problem before on different projects,
and I'm starting to think that something is wrong with my version
of flash. I just don't understand why it would work fine for 5
compiles, and then start screwing up!!!???

I tend to use other Tween engines, but I suspect its because
you can have a situation where you're assigning a new Tween to the
same clip before the old one has finished. This is not all the
time... its just when you roll out and roll back in (or vice versa)
before its finished.
I did a quick search and found some comments about it here
(the context is different but I think you can have the same
situation arise with what you're doing as I mentioned in last
paragraph)..:

  • How can I set default value to a transient parameter  in the VO

    I have created a transient parameter in the VO, which is type of boolean.
    When I try to input the "true" or "True" or "Y" in the 'default value',
    and then running the programm, but all failure.
    so I don't know how can i do.
    Genuinely waiting for you help, thanks in advance.

    Hi Sumury,
    First of all you could check if this transient attribute is read only. to check this, edit the VO and select the transient attribute under the Attributes tab. Then verify if it is marked as "Updateable Always" on the right-hand section.
    If it is updateable, then try setting the default value on the VO Implementation class: open the xxxVOImpl class, go to the transient attribute's setter (setxxx()) and change it to:
    <code> if (getXXX() == null) setAttributeInternal(XXX, "Y");
    else setAttributeInternal(XXX, value);</code>
    This might work. If it does not, then please post the exact message you are receiving when running the app.
    Hope this helps!

  • Xcontrol always returns default value

    I have an Xcontrol that holds an enum in the data in shift register. I have a control on the Xcontrol and that should update the value that will be returned whent the control is read, but the control only ever returns the default value of the enum. I have tried updating the value in the data in shift register, and the data in element of the display state in shift register, and neither works.  I can change the Xcontrol using the value propery of a property node. How do I do the same thing with a front panel control of the Xcontrol?

    Post your code so we can see what you're doing.  We might be able to give some advice then.

    ALTER SYSTEM set <parameter> = <value>; - if not using SP file. and also change in int file.
    ALTER SYSTEM set <parameter> = <value> scope=<memory or spfile or both> ; - if using SP file.
    Only some parameters can be changed this way not all.

  • Default value for variable

    Hello Experts,

    How to Create a u201CCustomer Exitu201D Date Variable.
    Custom date variables greatly enhance BEx Reporting.
    Letu2019s assume you have an InfoProvider with a characteristic 0CALDAY (Calendar Day) and you want to restrict results of your query to u201Ccurrent month to dateu201D.
    Scenario:
    1. Start by creating a variable for the 0CALDAY InfoObject.
    2. Assign u201CProcessing byu201D type u201CCustomer Exitu201D, u201CVariable Representsu201D to u201CIntervalu201D and u201CVariable Entryu201D to u201CMandatoryu201D. Select u201CReady for Inputu201D checkbox if you want a request window for your variable to be presented at runtime (interval values will be filled from your Customer-Exit but a user can still change them).
    3. Go to transaction CMOD to create a project for your enhancement (see ref.2). Give a name to the project (1), create (2) and save the project. Then assign an enhancement RSR00001 to your project and
    save. (In this step an error message u201CSAP enhancement RSR00001 already belongs to project NAMEu201D may appear. That means an active project with the enhancement RSR00001 already exists. If this is the case, you do not need to create your own project and may terminate this step and go to the step 4). Activate the project.
    4. Go to a transaction SE80, display a Function Group XRSR (1,2), open Function Modules (3) and double click on an EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001 (4). A source code for the EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001 function module opens. Double click on a word ZXRSRU01. You arrive to a source code for the Include ZXRSRU01.
    5. In the source code for Include ZXRSRU01 insert your code (see sample code below). If some code like DATA: L_S_RANGE TYPE RSR_S_RANGESID. u2026 u2026 u2026 u2026 u2026 u2026 ENDCASE. Already exists in the Include just insert the part of the sample code from the first comment to the last at the end of the existing code but above the ENDCASE statement. Check and Activate.
    Code Example:
    DATA: L_S_RANGE TYPE RSR_S_RANGESID.
    Current month to date variable ZCMTD example.
    WHEN 'ZCMTD'.
    you variable name
    data: ZCMTD_LOW like sy-datum.
    *defining variable for using as a starting date of the interval
    ZCMTD_LOW = sy-datum.
    *initializing it with the current date
    ZCMTD_LOW+6(2) = '01'.
    *replacing last two symbols (day) in the current date with '01'(see ref.1)
    CLEAR L_S_RANGE.
    L_S_RANGE-LOW = ZCMTD_LOW.
    *initializing low interval limit
    L_S_RANGE-HIGH = SY-DATUM.
    *initializing high interval limit
    L_S_RANGE-SIGN = 'I'.
    *defining interval as inclusive
    L_S_RANGE-OPT = 'BT'.
    APPEND L_S_RANGE TO E_T_RANGE.
    Current month to date variable ZCMTD example end.
    ENDCASE.
    The result of this will be an interval from the first day of the current month till the current system date.

  • Property default value in presentation doesn't work in vSphere Web Client.

    Hi,
    Some of my default values don't work in the vSphere Web client.
    Here is an example :
    The user need to choose a date, this input parametter is called "FormDateRealisation".
    In the next step, I have a user interraction with external input called "AppDateRealisation", that is an attribute. In the presentation, this parameter as a Default value property set to "#FormDateRealisation".
    It work perfectly in the Java client, but when I try the workflow in vSphere web client, the default value doesn't not work.
    Does anyone have an idea how to solve this ? I already found a solution to bypass this bug (Creating a script to transfert the input to the attribute)... But I would like to use the default value.

    Hi,
    I opened a ticket, they didn,t found the solution. But we found those logs:
    Execution of action com.DemandeServeur/EspaceDisqueMultiple10 returned a javacsript 'undefined' value. Perhaps a return statement is missing in this action ? Will be converted to null.

  • What is the default value of EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL

    Hi Gurus,
    We are on PI 7.0 EHP 1. We have not set the parameter EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL. Does this mean there is only one inbound queue registered by default if the default value is 1? However, I seem to recall that when we had issues with messages stuck in queues, I have seen more than one XBTI8 queues.
    Please help me with my doubt. thanks!

    Hi,
    Thanks for the replies.
    How about the parameter EO_INBOUND_TO_OUTBOUND and EO_OUTBOUND_PARALLEL?
    I assume by default EO_INBOUND_TO_OUTBOUND is set to 1?
    Then what is the default value for EO_OUTBOUND_PARALLEL? Plus to set this parameter you need to specify the receiver, in this case, is it true that EO_OUTBOUND_PARALLEL is not set at all so only one outbound queue? this does not make sense. Or maybe by default EO_INBOUND_TO_OUTBOUND is set to 0 so EO_OUTBOUND_PARALLEL is not used at all?
    Thanks.

  • How to show default values for properties managed by UUP

    Is there a way to load default values of properties from an external source while
    associating a user with property sets managed by UUP ?
    We are trying to write a Custom User Profile using UUP so that some of the User
    Profile attributes can be stored using an existing Oracle database schema. But
    the values for some of these properties(Profile property set attributes) has to
    come from another table which already exist. So the idea is that when a new user
    is being associated with the Custom property set using Portal Admin Tool, the
    available values for an individual property has to be pulled from from a database
    table. Like when selecting a user's home city he can select the name of all cities
    already existing in a database table.
    I couldn't find a way to do this using the EntityPropertyManager. Anyone has
    any idea how to do this?
    Thomas.

    Hi Thomas,
    Yes, the UUP framework is flexible enough for you to easily load default
    values of properties from some external source. You can do this if you
    deploy your own UserProfileManager that uses a custom PropertySetManager.
    When UserProfileManager.getProperty() is called, it looks for the property
    for that user and then for the user's implicit and explicit successors
    (implicit = persisted for that property set, explicit = given as an argument
    in the method call)...if it doesn't find the property (gets null) then it
    does this:
    PropertySet set = getPropertySetManager().getPropertySet(
    getPropertySetType(), propertySet );
    if ( set != null )
    PropertyDefinition def =
    set.getPropertyDefinition( propertyName );
    if ( def != null )
    result = def.getDefaultValue();
    Check out the javadoc for the classes I have mentioned and check out the
    ejb-jar.xml depoyment descriptor for the UserProfileManager in usermgmt.jar:
    <!-- property set manager -->
    <ejb-ref>
    <ejb-ref-name>ejb/PropertySetManager</ejb-ref-name>
    <ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
    <home>com.bea.p13n.property.PropertySetManagerHome</home>
    <remote>com.bea.p13n.property.PropertySetManager</remote>
    </ejb-ref>
    There are two options for deploying a UUP: 1) use the default
    UserProfileManager deployment with your custom EntityPropertyManager
    deployment, or 2) use your custom deployment of the UserProfileManager with
    your custom EPM deployment.
    In almost all cases, option 1) is done. However, in your case, you need to
    modify the behavior of the UserProfileManager so you must redeploy a
    custom-configured version. This means you will have to register a new
    ProfileType for your users with the DD for the UserManager EJB (because your
    special users don't use the default UserProfileManager) like this:
    <ejb-ref>
    <ejb-ref-name>ejb/ProfileType/WLCS_Customer</ejb-ref-name>
    <ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
    <home>com.bea.commerce.ebusiness.customer.CustomerProfileManagerHome</home>
    <remote>com.bea.commerce.ebusiness.customer.CustomerProfileManager</remote>
    </ejb-ref>
    If you didn't need to retrieve the default values from your own data source,
    here is how you could get the default values using the default deployment of
    the UserProfileManager:
    * use the EBCC to create a property set (a.k.a "user profile") that matches
    your UUP property set name. Create the properties in this pset and the
    default values. When the UserProfileManager.getProperty() call fails to
    find the property value in your UUP (gets null) it will use the default
    PropertySetManager to get metadata about that property from the Portal
    schema (which you just set up using the EBCC) and it will return the default
    value that you set in the EBCC.
    I recommend you study the 2 options for deploying a UUP, especially the
    option for deploying a custom version of the UserProfileManager by checking
    out the sample UUP on dev2dev.bea.com and by looking at the Portal 4.0 docs.
    I don't know if the 7.0 docs have as much detail about this. Also, when you
    sit down to implement your custom PropertySetManager you may have to contact
    support for some of the details. For instance, how to instantiate a
    PropertySet.

  • How to Get Default Value of a Data Type in SQL Query.

    Hi all,
    I am creating a procedure which will take input the table name and Column Name.
    In the Output i would like to have the data type and default value of that data type which will be used by a another procedure to blank the selected column in the database.
    I tried with SET NULL on the column but as the database is of navision the table have property set to NOT NULL.
    Here is what i have done till now.
    Create Procedure Get_Column_type
    @parm_table_name nvarchar(200),
    @parm_column_name nvarchar(20),
    @parm_result nvarchar(20)OUTPUT
    AS

    DATA_TYPE from INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS IC
    where TABLE_NAME = '[' + @parm_table_name +']' and COLUMN_NAME = '[' + @parm_column_name + ']'
    END
    GO
    Now instead on write a case statement for so many data types in SQL, i was thinking is it possible someway that above procedure also returns the default value which i can set in another procedure.
    Let me know if its possible or not? Thanks in advance.

  • Programmatic save of LVOOP class default value

    Hi!
    I've been stuck on this littel issue for some time now, maybe I can't see the wood for trees, maybe my intention is utopic
    Here is what I want to do: retrieve class default value from an existing *.lvclass (no prob so far), modify it in some sort of configuration programme and then save back the default value to this (or another) *.lvclass file.
    The only intended editing is about changing the default value, not more, not less.
    I have tried some VI server magic but failed (LabVIEW crashed)
    Any suggestions?
    Cheers

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Well, I do understand this issues for controls, but I'm sill struggling to transfer this to the LVOOP issue.
    Here's what I used to understand about loading class default values:
    I'm able to load a class default value dynamically from disk as long as inheritance is set right (--> PlugIn Architecture).
    So lets say I have a parent class A which has two children B1 and B2. So using the Get LV class default value.vi I'm able to load classes dynamically and cast it to class A (To More Generic Class). This way I can also load Class_B1.lvclass and Class_B2.lvclass and use dynamic dispatch.
    Now, if B1 and B2 have basically the same class private data (let's say a Boolean) that only differs in default value (true/false) I have a similar case for loading as what I'd like to do for saving.
    Having said that: maybe my intention should be be better described as modifying an existing class default value and save it as a new class.
    I guess there is a reason why NI did not implement the saving part... just need to understand why

  • Setting default value to af:inputdate in  jsf page.

    Is there a way to set the input date in  a form to some default value initially.
    I am finding no way to do this. If I set the value from a backing bean function it does not show the date picker next to input date and new values cannot be entered. Ideally, if i set some default  value initially i still should be able to change it to any date i want by using date picker next to input date.
    There is no other property like "Default Value" on input date component.
    Any suggestions ?
    using jdev 11.1.2.3

    User, you should be able to set the value your date field it's bound to. This value will then show up as default value in the ui.
    Don't try to use the component itself to set the value.

  • Ssrs 2008 want parameter default values to display

    In an ssrs 2008 report, I want to add a parameter called Processed and have default values set so the
    user does not have to select the parameters. The problem is the default parameters are not preselected
    when the report is executed.
    The following is the query for the dataset that is used for the parameter called Processed. This
    is used under available values.
    select DISTINCT IsNull(Processed,'') as Processed,
    CASE IsNull(Processed,'')
      WHEN 0 then 'Non Processed'
      WHEN 1 then 'Processed'
      END AS label
    FROM [Items]
    where Processed in (0,1)
    order by label
    The default values are set to 0 and 1.
    The column called Processed as defined as 'bit'.
    Thus can you tell me what you think could be wrong? Do I need to specify the bit values as
    something else? If so, how should I refer to the values for bit?

    Hi wendy,
    According to your description, this issue can be caused by the values returned by the query. We can try to execute the query in Query Designer to check which values will be returned. Maybe it only returns one value (0 or 1). Then the available values for
    the Processed parameter have only one value. So the default values will not be preselected when the report is initially run.
    Besides, we can also try to use the same query as the default values for the parameter to check the issue again.
    Hope this helps.

  • SSRS Cascading Parameter Setting Default Value of Parameter by Expression

    Hi All,
    I need some help on an issue I am running into in SQL server 2008 report parameters. I have the following Report Parameters defined:
    1) @PredefinedDateSelection - Boolean (User Selectable True/False, Default Value - 'False')
    2) @StartDate - Text (User input text box)
    If @PredefinedDateSelection = TRUE, then I would like to provide a particular default value to the StartDate textbox (i.e. @StartDate Default Value), If @PredefinedDateSelection = FALSE, then I would like to provide a different default value.
    I have the following code for the Expression for the Default value of @StartDate: =code.GetStartDate(Parameters!PreDefinedTimeSelection.Value)
    where GetStartDate is a very simple VB function defined as :
    Public Function GetStartDate(x as boolean ) As String
    Dim a as string
    Dim b as string
    a = "Report Uses Predefined Values"
    b = "Please Input Value"
    If (x) then
    Return a
    else
    Return b
    end if
    end function.
    Now the default value of @StartDate stays set as "Please Input Value", and does not change when I toggle @PredefinedDateSelection from False to True and vice versa. I was expecting to see the Default value to change between the two messages depending on my selection in the report preview.
    Another parameter which is a dropdown and uses a dataset to display two different set of selectable items depending on the value of @PredefinedDateSelection is working just fine. I am not sure if I am missing something or I am doing something wrong.
    Instead of using the VB code I also tried : =iif(Parameters!PreDefinedTimeSelection.Value = True,"Report Uses Predefined Values","Please Input Value")
    I also tried changing the default value using a dataset with SQL query and the available value set to NONE, so that the user could input. But the Default value does not refresh or change values.
     I hope I have explained my question clearly. I would really appreciate any thoughts and comments.
    Thanks,
    Arunesh

    Thank you much for your response.
    I tried that and it did work. But my requirement is to have a user input the date. The basic idea is if the user decides on a predefined time range like Day Shift Today or Yesterday and so on... then the report would automatically calculate the values based on predefined date time values. On the other hand, if the intent is to run the report for an arbitrary period then the user supplies the date and time limits.
    What I am trying to achieve is have the same parameter available for user input , but when the User decides he wants Predefined then the "textbox" populates with date and time as per his choice of predefind range.
    I understand that by this the user can still overwrite the date and time on the text box, but the report will run the predefined values as long as he has the @PredefinedDateSelection Set to true.
    Is there a way I can impement this?
    Once again I thank you and appreciate  your input.
