Twin Frozr R9 290 owners, need replacement fan size help please

Hello,
Unfortunately both of my fans on my Twin Frozr 290 have started to rattle when passing 55% fan load. This is disappointing, though not shocking given the type of fans they use.
I've tried contacting MSI support asking for them to send me two, however they are unwilling to help.
Does anyone know the fan size and fan mounting pattern size (distance between mounting holes), and additionally where I can source them?
I know the model number on the fan is PLD08010S12HH, however I struggle to find any within UK or Europe.

from the look of that description they are probably from a card someone bought that was using them for GPU mining and wasn't using the stock cooler/s but probably changed the stock one for a water cooler/s and is selling the parts separate off the cards original cooler as spares!
New other (see details): A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. The item may be missing the original packaging. (bold and underlined area is a give away that they are reclaimed Unused with no signs of ware!?!?!?!?!?!!! that is a auto red flag they have been taken off a card!)

As far as I know they can't be deleted, just remove any personal info from it (credit card details etc) and stop using it.
If you downloaded any content via it then you will need to remember it and it's password, as content is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it, so if you move to a new computer you'll need to authorise the account on it if you want to use any of its content there (or if you bought apps with it you'll only be able to download updates to them via that account)

Newbie at O/Cing N560GTX Twin Frozr II 1GB and need help

I just finished dealing with corruption issues on my new N560GTX Twin Frozr II 1GB. I want to try to play with the O/C setting. What is a good place to start in terms of Core Clock and Voltage? I already downloaded Kombustor.
CPU: Intel i7 960 (3.2GHz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R Socket 1366
Memory brand: Kingston Hyper X DDR3 1600 6GB
Hardrive: Western Digital 1TB SATA 7200RPM @ 6GB/sec
Soundcard: Onboard
OS: Windows 7 Home
Power supply: Thermaltake 750W

For my Gold Edition I have my core voltage at 1050 for 1005 core clock OC. I have not run Furmark, Kombustor or any such benchmark/stress test on it with those settings and it probably wouldn't pass any of those tests. If I were to raise my core voltage to 1125 it would probably pass those test but I don't need my voltage that high for what I use the card for.
Test your card with core voltage at 1050, core clock at 900. You already know how long your old card would go before it crapped out so make sure you give it a good test at least twice as long as the old card would go. You can leave core voltage at 1050 and raise core clock 10 at a time and give it a good test each time. Test that way until it craps out and then start raising core voltage a little at a time until it's stable again. Basically it's a simple time consuming affair, raise the values a bit at a time and test. Keep your eye on the temperature as you go along but that should not be a problem on any Twin Frozr/Twin Frozr ll VGA card. Mine never went over 72-73C even with 1150V & 1030 core clock 99% load running folding@home. Power use sure goes way up when running that high though.

MSI GTX570 Twin Frozr II OC - How to make fans run at 100%?

I have a SLI setup with 2xMSI GTX570 Twin Frozr II OC. The Afterburner let's me adjust fan speed to 85% max. I would like to set it to 100% 'cuase my system tends to heat up considerably. Is there a way to do that?

My first problem is that i can't use a true extended monitor configuration (1 dvi + 1 vga, 1920*1080 + 1280*1024).
Dual monitor work in CLONE MODE but not in extended.
Extended mode use 1 monitor or turn to clone mode automatically :/
EXCEPT after a NEW driver installation. So if i want to use dual screen extended mode, i have to reinstall driver each time i boot...
I have use DriverSweeper in safe-mode but this trick don't work for me. I have the last nvidia driver 270 and i have try the 270 beta driver too.
Into game? That work fine (except some artifacts who appear occasionnaly (one time in metro 2033 and one time in battlefield bad company 2) but it's not fine for a new gpu i think :/)
Can you help me to fix that dual screen problem?

6950 2GB Twin Frozr II/OC Bios needed

hi guys got a 6950 2GB Twin Frozr II/OC and looking for the bios file to download because i suck at flashing the bios and the card bios looks to be bad flash i can see the card in windows but the PC will not boot with it.. yes i have tested another card and it works
so if anybody here can dump the bios i would be sop happy

This will be useless and gamble, without known the exact BOMs of both cards..
Etc: big change to flash to wrong BIOS if its received by someone else with same VGA,
as there is more than one models and variants which are using different VBIOSes,
so you can easy flash to the wrong one.
So best ask MSI. [tell them the SN of your card when asking for it]

MSI R9 280X Twin Frozr Editon Problem can anyone shed light on it please?

Hi everyone i hope i am posting this in the right thread as i currently am in a bind.
My card has given me a white screen again, this makes it 2 times now this week and i am wondering what my options are here as i have no second card to use and cant be without my PC and be without gaming.
it happened when i closed down a game and once while alt tabbing a screen.
After a reset it is back to normal no white screen.
From what i can see it is not overheating the fans are turning it has been seated well and i have not over clocked it at all with the MSI gaming program and the driver are up to date.
What would you guys think is going on? do you think it is an RMA for me.

I have interfaced DAQ PCI 6036-E with SC2075. I wrote a code to get data from analog input chl 1 and ch 2. I am getting data only from ch1. cables and hardware connected to sc2075 had been tested and are working properly. help please .Also, is it possible to test those channels from measurement and automation explorer and how ?.thanks

Yes, it is possible to test these analog input channels in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). To do so, expand Devices and Interfaces, right-click on the PCI-6036E, and select Test Panels. On the Analog Input tab, you can set the Channel control to any of the device's channels. If both CH1 and CH2 function correctly in MAX, you will need to troubleshoot your code.

Do the tracks show up in the Recently Added playlist? If so then something has gone wrong with the index of the Music playlist. Download the current iTunes Free Single of the Week. I know it sounds odd, but it should fix the problem. (Probably adding anything would do.)
If that doesn't work close iTunes and delete the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder, then start iTunes again. It should run a consistency check when it starts up.

Hello my wife and I have had our canon mx712 for a couple years and now we have the uo52 wrong printhead error message. We did love our canon until this. Hi, and thanks for you interest. The problems is that whether I'm using iMovie or FCE I get to a stage where the thumbnail image is present but if you try to play, import or any other action in either app it closes down and a message comes up " The Application Final Cut Express/iMovie quit unexpectedly - Mac OS X and other application are not affected" then asks if I wish to relaunch. I then hit the report to Apple button and afterwards relaunch. I was recommended to use Voltaic which I have tried, it worked but is to much mucking about for something that should work out of the box.
This problem happens on both the iMAC and the MacBook so quite sure it's not a OS software issue. All software update are up to date also.
Any ideas?

Please help. This may sound stupid, but I must be tech. challenged. I just got my ipod for Christmas & I have spend night after night reading discusions trying to get it to work. My husband keeps reminding me about that 1. Initial problem, I could not transfer songs. Never resolved that 1, but at least it WAS showing up in itunes.
Now, for some reason, I've updated software (that was new to begin with) & now my ipod is not able to be read. It says restore factory settings... there was never anything put on it yet. This thing is brand new & for the price, I expected to plug it in & it does the work. Everything I read is extremely detailed. How can I fix this & get it running on "everyday language" terminology? I was unable to open the manual I downloaded (tech. challenged).

Looks like there is a conflict with different versions of ipod up-dater & itunes. My problems started when I updated from a 10/05 ed. to an 11/05 ed., thus my "ipod manager internal error". After I used my disc to reinstall, I was able restore my (still empty) ipod. Now it is showing up in itunes again! Hurray!! It will be a long time before I update again. I wonder if it is really necessary when it is brand new?
Thank you again! Now I just need to figure out how to put my 3rd party music onto my ipod. That was my initial problem I thought I was fixing by updating. It looks like it is easier to move music from my own CD's. I may be cancelling my music contract with the 3rd party.

Can't import xml file: "need translation document/template" - - help please

Hi there,
Someone edited a project with fcp 5.1. I have fcp 5.0. I've been asked to tweak the project (for no charge, which is fine with me; it's for a tiny 3rd-world charity organization).
He sent me the project files as xml documents... but when I double click on them I get a window saying they "need translation document file", or translation template. Nothing in my fcp folder or app seems to do the trick.
Can someone please advise me on this?
I did a search before posting, and noticed that someone advised someone else that xml version 2 is the better xml file to work with. I don't know whether the xml files this guy sent me are v. 1 or 2.
Any help would be very much appreciated!

IF it doesn't work... should I upgrade to FCStudio2, do you think? I didn't want to have to do that (I'm not being paid for this work, so I don't really want to go out of pocket), but if this XML2 thing doesnt' work, I'm not going to be able to do this project at all, it would seem. Which I would feel badly about.
The other thing is, I've been sort of thinking that some day I'm going to have to get FCStudio2, so maybe I should just push that day up a bit.
It would really bother me, though, if I go to the expense of getting FCStudio2, and then I still can't open these files.
