Two comm channels at the PI outbound side

Hi All,
Can we use two communication channels at the outbound side.my scenario is to send a file from database system  to SAP. I know that we can use JDBC adaptor at the inbound (PI receiving side) and FILE adaptor at outbound (PI sending side).  at the same time when we dump the file onto SAP application server , i need to send workflow notification to relavant department agent informing about the file location.
Could anyone tell me how we are going to configur this scenarion.

so your scenario is
JDBC -> FILE & WORKFLOW Notification
The answer is yes. you can add as many receivers and its corresponding communication channels.
One question, how do you want to send the WORKFLOW Notification?

  • Comm Channel and Adapters

    Hi,
My Scenario is RFC-XI-JDBC. I created one Message Interface, synchronous, abstract, and did the Interface mapping.
I created sender comm channel, receiver comm channel. I configured Sender Adapter(RFC) and Receiver Adapter(JDBC).
I have  a little confusion, do I need another two comm channels and another two sender(jdbc) and receiver(RFC) adapters.
    Thanks for the help.

    Hi Raj,
As your scenario says that you are making use of sync communication. Using the same sender and receiver channel the request and response comm is handled. While you create the outbound interface you check the option of msg interface type as sync.
So bottom line is you dont have to create two seperate channel to get the response from the JDBC adapter.
    Hope this answers your question.

  • Seeing old deleted comm. channels on Non-Central Adapter Engines

    hello,
We have a landscape of PI 7.0 machine connected with 3 Non-Central Adapter Engines installed on another machine, which generally works fine.
Somehow, after doing a lot of changes in the integration directory (creating and deleting object: scenario, comm. channels and ect...)  -  two of the non-central AE shows comm. channels which were already deleted (and activated ofcourse) in the integration directory.
    What i tried already:
run CPACache in mode=full on each of those AE, clear SLD cache and even restarted those J2EE instances. but it didn't work out. the thing that is also weird is that I can start/stop those old comm. channels. how do we get rid of those old channels?
I would appreciate any suggestions .

    Problem is solved.
In integration directory we could not see the old comm. channels under the objects tab or under any scenario, but they existed as shown in RWB.
From CPA cache we picked up the comm. channels object IDs and search for it in integration directory UI, once they were found - it was easy to actually delete them.
    What went wrong?
These old comm. channels were assigned under deleted services which were under deleted parties. For some unknown reason, after deleting the services and parties successfully, the comm. channels underneath were not deleted and could not shown in any of objects tab GUI tree's nodes.
We could not reproduce this behaviour.

  • Exception "JMSSecurityException: Not permit" when starting Comms Channel...

    Hi,
We have XI 3.0 that has been running without issues in the comms channels for a long time.
All of a sudden on one of our systems we are getting an error when starting the comms channel. The stacktrace is shown below:
Channel error occurred; detailed error description: com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.api.connector.ConnectorException: Error creating message consumer: javax.jms.JMSSecurityException: Not permitted
    at com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.core.connector.ConnectorImpl.buildMessageConsumers(ConnectorImpl.java:446)
We have tried resrting the J2EE engine, the whole XI instance, etc. and still this one channel continues to fail.
I have tried creating new channels and they fail too.
Has anyone seen this error before? Any idea how to resolve this?
    thanks
    Brian

    Hi Brain,
It is showing security exception, so it is related to the credentials (may if you use the passwords or certificates those are expired) so check those credentials validity.

  • BPM - Message has error on the outbound side

I get this error 'Message has error on the outbound side" . I am using IDOC - BPM - JDBC. I checked SXI_CACHE and I see ret code 99 for this Integration Process. I tried to activate it. I see an error saying that ZCUST_NUMBER is not a component object of PAYLOAD. I have this context object defined on the Abstract Message Interface built to store the IDOC.
    Any ideas are helpful

    Michael,
<i>The program outputs a returncode = 99 during the cache refresh of an integration process (ccBPM), with an error message that says that 'xxxx' is not a component of the 'PAYLOAD' data object.</i>

  • Comm Channels are not seen in the Communication Channel Monitoring in RWB

    Hello All,
I am facing a strange Problem. In the RWB i am not able to see the Comm Channels that i have configured in the Integration Directory. In the Adapter Monitoring also I am not able to see the Adapters with Green Status.
I am on PI 7.0 and SP9. For a simple IDOC to File Scenario, the IDOC is getting sent but the File is not getting written. I have to monitor it for this. As the Comm Channels are not showing so I am not able to Montitor.
Can anyone please suggest me how to do this montoring and how can I see the Comm Channels that I have created.
    Thanks in Anticipation

    Hi,
    1. Check created the Busieness system to identify your XI System.

    3. Go to SXMB_ADM
       Execute Integration Engine and Configuration
Click on Check button check the SLD working fine or not.

  • BPM : Message scheduled on the outbound side

    Hi
I have messages in SXMB_MONI that have been received into my BPE.  They have a status flag ok (chequered flag ) but the Outbound Status is green (message scheduled on outbound side).
The BPE would have finished by now ...been in Message Scheduled on Outbound side for the entire day now.
What has happened ?   I have no error - nothing !
(there are no entries in SMQ2, nothing in SXMB_MONI_BPE in error etc etc or Short Dumps)
    Please help.

I posted an OSS note on this - so answer from SAP.
Solution is to delete the old entries via RSWWWIDE report (which could also delete work items that do not have a final status.)  I ran this for everything not COMPLETED.
When I send another message in - it worked fine.  So the fact I had a stalled WF a week ago was affecting any new one coming in.
Drilling down into the message in SXMB_MONI from the PE I could see an Exception Handling in the MergeandSendBlock - no error given - but it did have a time of a week earlier.. anyway then in the ST22 Dump I could see wf-batch with runtime error MESSAGE_TYPE_X_TEXT.
I feel this is very poor design on the BPM processing !  oh well.

PS Thanks to Sudhir earlier on...  You nailed it - but at that stage I did not know what you mean so did not consider this - as I had no idea what affect running that transaction would do.

are you using a ccBPM? SWWL is used when a BPM entry in error needs to be deleted....the blog does not open for me.

Did you try testing the scenario from SOAP Test Tool?

  • TS3274 Email display problem: My email only display the list of emails and a preview (first two lines of the body of the mail). If one click on the message it only shows the heading on the right hand side of the screen, but not the content.

My email only display the list of mails in my in box with a preview of the first two lines of the body of the message. When one clicks on the message to open it, only the header is displayed in the right hand side of the screen - the actual message is missing. This happens on older mail previously downloaded that use to work properly as well. Any idea how to fix this?

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

What is the name of the small part that comes lose when you are removing the two battery screws on the left side of the battery, the small part is under the top screw when removing the iPhone 4s battery?

It's the part that means you've voided your warranty and the right to get an out-of-warranty replacement from Apple.

You can continue to use them as Apple ID's, change the rescue address (as you know)
You can use your iCloud address, but it won't be an alias, it's a full email address.

My movies' audio isnt 5.1 as the description says. when I check out their info it says they are 2 channel. I have tried with two movies already and the audio description said Dolby 5.1

Actually, try this instead. On the apple tv, under settings > Audio > Dolby digital
Change it From AUTO (default) to ON
That worked for me. All my eyetv encodes have stereo and 5.1 tracks. For some reason the auto option forces stereo. Setting it to ON forces the 5.1.
Everything sounds nice again! It's just stupid that apple puts AUTO for the default and that setting results in stereo not 5.1.

Yes.  You are still under warranty.  Why waste it?

  • Two out of 16 channel of the AT-MIO-16-E1 are not working

    Hello!
I'm here again with a question. I greatly appreciate
the help i previously got from you guys. I was trying
to acquire analog signals from the AMUX-64T using
AT-MIO-16E-1 DAQ and the labview. Everything was going
perfectly, but few days ago, the first channel of the
DAQ board (ch: 0) and last channel (ch 15) are not responding. When I'm putting
signal to the AMUX channel 0-3 which are corresponded
to the DAQ channel '0', the Labview cannot show the
signal. For all other AMUX channels (except 60-63 which are corresponds to the last channel ie. ch:15 of the DAQ) the input analog
signal can be shown in the labview. Could you please
give me some insight what's actually happening. I
    sincerely thank you
    for your time and effort.
    Ahad

    Hi ahad,
The best way to move forward is to identify which module in your
system is causing the problems. What I would do is:
    1) Check to make sure it is not your DAQ card. You can do this by
applying the 5V reference from the card to channel 0 and make sure
when you test channel 0 in Measurement & Automation Explorer you read
5V. To measure the value, you can use the Test Panels for your
    device.
    2) You can also run the online E Series Diagnostic Utility to
determine if you have a problem. It requires NI-DAQ 6.9 or higher and
Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. Here is the link:
    http://www.ni.com/support/selftest/default.htm
    3) If your DAQ board passes those tests, then it is not the DAQ board.
The next thing to check is that your cable and pins are not the
    pr
oblem. You can use a multimeter to check for continuity on the
    cable.
    4) Move the channels you were measuring from channels 0-3 to channels
that were working correctly. If you notice that the problem follows
the move then it is morelikely your circuit or device that you are
testing. If the trouble is still on channels 0-3 then it could be the
    AMUX-64T.
    5) Check the wiring to the AMUX-64T to make sure no wires are loose.
It could be that those paths internal to the device have been damaged.
What I would do is put a battery or some known voltage source on one
of the channels and scan through all the channels to see if you can
still see that signal. If you can't then, the board might have been
damaged. If that is the case, then you will have to request a repair
    on the board (ni.com/ask).
Anyway, hope that helps. Have a good day.
