Two, Three, Four, Five, ..... n Number of Toolbars

Hi,
I am new to Java and recently, I experimented with adding more than 1 Toolbars to my GUI using swing. I was using a GridBag layout. I specified both the toolbars to be positioned in the North of the screen but when running the application, one toolbar overtook the place of the other toolbar (overlapped you can say). If i specify 1 toolbar to North and the other to East, then both can appear but I am not able to move the toolbar on the EAST side to float to the NORTH. It simply won't budge to that direction. However, I can move it to other positions on the screen.
Now, It may be that the issue revolves around the layout that i have chosen. But since i am new to Java, i need some clarification. Therefore my question is:
"Is it possible to do such a thing using Grid bag layout or do i have to choose another alternative. & If it is possible, how do i come around with an answer to it ?"

Try using this code..
JToolBar jtb = new JToolBar();
JToolBar jtb1 = new JToolBar();
//u'r code goed here
JPanel panel =new JPanel(new GridLayout(2,1));
panel.add(jtb);
panel.add(jtb1);
// u'r code gere
getContentPane().setLayout(new BorderLayout());
getContentPane().add(yourTextPane, BorderLayout.CENTER);
getContentPane().add(panel, BorderLayout.NORTH);
