Type incompatibility between two structures in data type

hi
I have two structures, x_autwr and y_autwr, here the problem is data type of x_autwr is CURR ,15 and y_autwr is DEC, 23.
now when I write
x_autwr = y_autwr it gives an errornous data, for eg if the value of Y-autwr is 2000.0000, it transforms to x_autwr and makes it 200000.00,
PLease note that I cannot change the data type as its from standard, but I have tried taking to local variables of type i, c , or decimal of type 2,or divide by 100, but still no logic works.
Please help.

I think this assignment is not correct. The CURR fields are always associated with a CUKY, do you have the currency key with you ?
If yes, then you can try this logic:
x_autwr = y_autwr.

The Additions TYPE and LIKE

Data Mining - Scalar Mining Structure Column Data type error...

Hoping someone will have a solution for this error
Errors in the metadata manager. The data type of the '~CaseDetail ~MG-Fact Voic~6' measure must be the same as its source data type. This is because the aggregate function is not set to count or distinct count.
Is the problem due to the data type of the column used in the mining structure is Long, and the underlying field in the cube has a type of BigInt,or am I barking up the wrong tree?

You're right the error does occur when processing the mining model. I've built a simple mining structure to look into the problem - its just a decision tree based on a cube. The cube itself has a single Fact table, with numerous related dimensions. It has two measure groups - one for the use of distinct count, in the other group the aggregation functions used are count and sum.
The measure which seems to be causing a problem uses the sum aggregation in the cube. The underlying table has this field as a BigInt, which was used due to round issues on the cubes when the original Int datatype was used.
In the mining model the same field appears as a Continuous with datatype of Long. It has been tried in various guises as predictonly, and ignore modes both with the same results.
The mining model used to work without a problem when the underlying type was an Integer, but then the cube would report the wrong figures.
Interestingly, when I build a mining model directly against the source data there were no problems.

Inspection lot for Mvt type 311 between two storage location only

Hello all,
I want to create an inspection lot only whenever my material transfer between two particulars storage locations. e.g if i have multiple storage locations, then i need an inspection lot to be created whenever my material transferred from say X S.Loc to Y S.loc only. For other transfers i don't need to create an inspection lot even from Y to X.
For more clarity, suppose i have ten storage locations. i have also created one storage location for my Lab. So I want an inspection lot to be created only when my material transfer to my Lab storage location from any other storage location, not when i transfer from my LAB to any other S.Loc or between two S.Loc other than LAB.
I have activated inspection type 08 but it does not have a restricition on S.Loc.
So please suggest some solution for the same.

In this case what you can do is make a copy of 311 movement type, say Z11. Deactivate QM for 311 and activate QM for Z11
So whenever you want inspection lot to be created use Z11.
You can activate and deactivate QM in QCCO > Quality inspection > Inspection lot creation > inspection for goods movement

Use idoc structure as Data Type....

this is my SYNC scenario: SOAP -> PI -> PROXY and the response in the same way.
in the proxy I want to use the same Structure of the ORDERS05 iDoc...
so..
1: I've Imported the iDoc
2: Created the external definition
and then...
first, I tried to use the IDOC in the "Message Interface" but when activate it, a message appear saying " references an IDoc message and a non-IDoc message"...
well as it doesn't works...
I tried with the external definition in the Message Interface... I can Activate it, but when go to ECC and try to regenerate the Proxy this is the error message "
Interface uses external and internal message definitions"...
so... my last chance was create a data type with the same structure... for it, imported the XSD but errors and more errors appears... so I think than my best way is not a data type... but I can't find a solution.
someone has any idea??

I hope you are just only using the structure of IDOC and not the IDOC itself. Because IDOC doesn't support SYNC scenario.

As I said you cannot use IDOC in Sync scenario, So this was because of that as per my understanding.

As per my experience, You cannot create Proxy with External Definition. I guess in PI7.1 it is possible.

Yes you don't have any other option except creating the Data Type. So check what's going wrong when you are creating the it.

FieldPoint I/O Data Type versus Fieldpoint I/O Point Data Type

I have upgrated a project from LV 8.5 version to LV 2011 the Fieldpoint Data Types are different in LV 8.5 it is FieldPoint I/O and in LV 2011 it is Fieldpoint I/O Point. I built the proyect and tried to run it, no errors were present. Now the application can't read or write to the cFP-2100 controller module. In MAX i can see the controller, the modules and the channels both under Data Neighborhood and Remote Systems.
Setup:
Controller and Host Drivers: Field Point 6.0.10

According to the Fieldpoint driver readme, you need different versions of the driver for 8.5 to 2011 (The latest version that supports 8.5 is 6.0.8, which doesn´t support LV 2011. Could you confirm that this is the FP driver version that you were using in 8.5 (Fieldpoint 6.0.8).
You can check if the syntax changed between 6.0.8 and 6.0.10 by creating a constant from one of the fieldpoint VI's and see if the syntax there is the same as the one in LV 8.5. Also, are the VI's that show up in the FP palette the same in both the 8.5 and 2011 versions?
Finally, you said that you can run your application in 2011 without any errors but it can't communicate with the cFP. Does the program ever throw an error? (Like a timeout error)
I'll check for more compatibility issues between versions once you confirm which version were you using in LV 8.5.

User defined table types sometimes show up a unknown data type in Profiler

A couple of our users have a problem when using user defined table types. Calls are made using UDTT as variables and these are then passed to a stored procedure as parameters. Sometimes the application returns a timeout. In such situations a Profiler-Trace
shows the following:
declare @p4 unknown
whereas the correct trace (that is sometimes displayed) should be:
declare @p4 dbo.ReportFilterTableType
ReportFilterTableType is a UDTT. The users do have correct permissions for the UDTT (otherwise they would never be usable for the user). What could be the reason that the data types for the variable
@p4 in the example are sometimes returned as unknown and at other times are returned correctly as
ReportFilterTableType? Could this possibly be a network related issue?

Alka, Is your problem timeouts when passing TVP parameters, or is it that a Profiler Trace shows type "unknown" for the TVP data type name?
If your problem is timeouts, be aware that TVPs do not have statistics so the optimizer might not be able to generate an optimal plan for non-trivial queries. Declaring a primary key or unique constraint on the table type may help since that will provide
useful cardinality information. You may need to resort to hints in some cases.
I suggest you start a new thread with details of your specific situation if the information in this thread doesn't help.

How to add connection between two Web Part Data Views in sharepoint designer 2013

Hi I have problems with connect two data view
I have a SQL server database named Mini
In Mini database I have two tables: dbo.Table_A and dbo.Table_B
Table_A design and Table_B design
In the internet browser it look like this after I add the connections, the problem is there is no connection when I click at the Blue link id 2 and 3 ??? John's and Jes's Lastname did not show up, the links is dead. that's my problem
The must strange is that, if I do the same below, in sharepoint 2010 designer it do well ?? so what in the .....

Interpolation between two series of data

Hello everybody,
i need to make an interpolation on a curve which have an interruption. It's a 1D array of data with a serie of NaN inside. I don't know hot to use the different type of interpolation in this case. I tried but i failed. Find here a picture of my problem.

Looks like a LabVIEW graph In any case, I'd try to generate a new array without NANs which then can be used for all possible interpolation functions such as SPInterp, PolyInterp ...

Single Channel between two 10 Gb data Muxponders band C

I would like to install a direct trunk link between the trunk ports of two muxponders on a 15454. Does it need any special configuration using CTC or it's automatic? The client ports will be GE abd FC. Should i use GCC Termination ?

U have got the answer that u can carry GE/FC over your muxponder card.
My 2 cents regarding access management. From one of your message that u r directly connecting these cards.
So ur r using SONET (SDCC/RSDCC) as ur using this as SONET card not DWDM. These SDCC/RSDCC are accessed through ur ethernet port to manage both equipment.
If u take this muxponder over Normal DWDM box then OSC is used. This is out band management channel (or out band siganlling for management of node) OC-3 rate.
If u take this muxponder over GMPLS ready DWDM box then that box will add GCC (like RDCC of SONET)to this rate. Like RDCC, GCC is also a in band signalling.
"GCC channel does not work like an OSC channel to manage both equipments.
As per my knowledge GCC can manage ur both equipment plus it has feature of dropping GCC to Non ONS node (or third party) and see that non ONS node in ur management.
I think GCC is better than OSC, as in GMPLS network provisioning is much easier and powerful than OSC based network.

Flex supported data types - Does Flex support MSSQL geometry data type. I use WSDL connection.

Prob creating a new structured data type

I am trying to create a new structured data type to see it in data type diagram. When i try to right click on structured data type in DATA TYPES, i cant see any option like new structured data type etc. But this is working for distinct as well collection data types but not for structured.
By default, we are getting SDO_geometry structured data type for every model. We can change its name but cant create a new structured data type from there also.
What should i do to create a structured data type in data modeler.

The right click on Structured Types does not open a menu on my Data Modeler either.
To create a Structured Type, click View on the main menu for the Data Modeler. Then click View Details -> Datatype.
In the Browser (called Navigator in other Oracle products), right click Datatype Model -> Show. This will show the DataTypes diagrammer.
Click on the New Structured Type button on the menu bar, then click anywhere on the DataTypes diagrammer, the Structured Type Properties window opens.
Enter all the details in the Structured Type Properties window to create your data type. Click Ok when finished. Your object type will be represented by a "blue" box on the diagram.
