UCCE 7.5(8) CAD 7.5.1.59 got blocked in Working Ready state

Hi all,
We're using UCCE 7.5(8) with CAD 7.5.1.59. From time to time, we remarked some CAD get blocked in the Working Ready state after ending a call.
Our wrap up time is currently configured to 2 hours (as requested by client) so the CAD wont turn back to Ready state automatically.
The CAD can be unblocked by an internal call (no UCCE)
Anyone experiences the same problem?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,

@Geoff:
Thank you for all the good sugesstions, however unfortunately none of them is possible to me
I would try this using the CTIOS client on your test machine, just to  eliminate CAD a little. From the trace, it doesn't appear to matter,  since you are looking at the pure CTIOS trace messages, and they are the  issue - but I like CTIOS for this sort of debugging.
--> We are using CAD and do not have CTIOS client installed. Does the soft actually come with the UCCE installation package? Can you please tell me where I can find it?
@Geoff and Ed
Dissociate and re-associate the device with JTAPI and retest.
--> Good point, I did the same actually but the phone still didn't work.
Nevertheless, I really think we have a network problem (which was observed time to time before)
I will update this thread as soon as I can do some further tests.
Thanks,
Regards,

  • CAD - login but cannot be in ready state

Hi, I encountered erratic (sometimes it happens sometimes it does not) error with Agents logging into their CAD (UCCX 8.5 Express) but cannot be in Ready state. Error: "Resource Device is Off". "The Agent extension is out of service. Ready state change and call control operations cannot be performed." Looking at the logs it state 32760. What could be causing this intermittent issue?

    Hi Cornelio,
Please deassociate the phone\device from this Agent and also from the RmCm application user in CUCM. and again reassocite it back as before. Also try performing the Directory Resync operation from the CDA (Cisco Desktop Administrator) and see if it helps.
You can try restarting the CTI manager service also if the above workaround doesn't help.
    Hope it helps.

  • UCCE 7.5.7 CAD macro to populate ICM Call Variable

    UCCE 7.5.7
    CAD 7.5.8
I need to create a CAD Toolbar macro in Cisco Desktop Administrator that reads data from a text file (an 8 digit number) and writes this data to an ICM Call Variable.
The 8 digit number is not known until after the call is answered.
I have created a Toolbar Task that asks the CAD Agent to enter digits, which are then written to a text file on the local PC, but I haven't been able to create a macro successfully that will copy the data from the text file and write this to an ICM Call Variable.
Anyone done this before or know how to?
    Thanks,
    Neil

The layout logic works pretty much the way it is described in the CAD documentation. Double check the naming of your ECC variable id 252. What did you name your ecc variable in ICM? What did you name it in CAD? Remember in CAD the name should not include the "user" prefix. Make sure you are writing the correct layout name into variable 252, this needs to exactly match the name of your layout in CAD.
For database reads you may want to look into the dblookup functionality in ICM. It's somewhat limited with what you can do but easy to setup if it works for you. Otherwise you could use the database querying abilities of CVP or IP-IVR. If none of those are suitable then you can go with some custom integration triggered by a CAD client desktop workflow.

  • Make CAD agents to go ready state upon login

    hi all,
hope someone can help. running uccx 8.0.   when agents log into CAD, it always put them in not ready state. is there a way to make them go ready right away upon login.
    thanks
    vijay

    Hi Vijay,
    Agent State Action
An Agent State action enables you to select an agent state to associate with an event.
Agent State actions can be associated only with Answered and Dropped events. The
only valid agent states are Login, Logout, Ready, Not Ready, and Work.
To set up an Agent State action:
1.Set up a new action. See “Adding a New Action” on page 98. The Select Action window appears.
2.Select the Agent State tab, and then click New. The Agent State Action Setup box appears (Figure 49).
3.Enter a name for the action, select the agent state control from the drop-down list, and then click OK
Please refer the CDA guide for more information,

    Hope this helps.

  • UCCE 7.2.7/CAD 7.2 SR1 Work Flow Action issue

    Greetings,
This is on UCCE 7.2.7 with CAD 7.2 SR1.
Today, I created Agent Management Work Flow Action in CAD (via Desktop Admin). I want all of my agents within a specific Work Flow Group to be logged out at 9pm on workdays.
I choose the event "Time of day", create a rule and an action. The action is "Agent State Control" with value "AgentLogout". I choose to use automated reason codes. After configuration I hit "apply" and, just to be sure, I also sync the Directory Services.
The action is triggered, but the agent still has to choose the reason code to logout. Does this sound familiar to any of you or am I missing someting?
    Regards

    Assign it in the script.
Let's say you have created the ECC variable "userCADLayout" and you have been into CAD Admin and set this as the field index 252.
And you have created a number of layouts (e.g. Sales, Service) with different enterprise variables, ANI, DNIS etc.
Let's say agent Fred is in both the Sales SG and the Service SG.
Simply set the ECC variable in the script once you have decided its a Sales call or a Service call to the matching string "Sales" or "Service".
So a "Sales" call arrives at Fred's desktop and the arrangement (layout) is appropriate; ditto Service.
Once you have done this one time, you will realize how easy it is. Of ocurse, DON'T MAKE ANY SPELLING MISTAKES. ;-)

  • CAD set agent to ready state on startup?

    Hi All,
Is there a way to force the agents to be set in ‘Ready’ when they load CAD? Rather than them having to load CAD then click the icon to make themselves ready?
    We are using UCCX 8.5.
    Thanks in advance.
    Matty

Agent MUST go ready manually for the first time ( post login to CAD ), after that going to ready automatically from not-ready/wrap up can be controlled from workflow.
Pls rate the post if it helps.

  • CAD to SAP data transfer (Title block integration)

    Hi,
Im using Cideon's CAD integration tool.
I can able to transfer the data from SAP to AutoCAD Title block.
But not able to transfer data from Title Block to SAP.
    Eg.
If I give "Test Title block" in description field of DIR. Its getting updated in ACAD Title Block's Description field. So SAP to CAD data transfer is ok.
But if I change the data in ACAD title block as "Test Title Block updated" its not getting updated in the document field of DIR?
How to make the config settings? Can anybody help?
    If possible give an example.

    Hi Niranjan,
Sorry for the delay i was in a training.
In TbkMapping I have mapped the Description Field of SAP to Description attribute of ACAD Titleblock. So SAP to CAD is fine.
To do the data transfer from CAD to SAP, I tried with the UpdateDir like this
    SystemCFG>default>updateDIR>BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2>DOCUMENTDATA>
    I made an entry like,
    Key as "DESCRIPTION"
    Value as "%TITLEBLOCK(GEN-TITLE-DES1)"
    and
    SystemCFG>default>updateDIR>BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2>DOCUMENTDATAX>
    I made an entry like,
    Key as "DESCRIPTION"
    Value as "X"
I have created an object named as DOCUMENTDESCRIPTIONS
    SystemCFG>default>updateDIR>BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2>DOCUMENTDESCRIPTIONS
Inside that I have created an object LINE_0
    LINE_0 Contains
    Key as "LANGUAGE_ISO"
    Value as "EN"
    Key as "DESCRIPTION"
    Value as "%TITLEBLOCK(GEN-TITLE-DES1)"
Pls tell me if im wrong. what other settings i need to do?

  • Is there a place to find CAD or some .dwg for terminal blocks, chassis, etc?

I'm doing a full schematic of my system for documentation and was curious if there was more than just the .pdf files to pull dimensions from for SCXI that can be pulled into a CAD software package?

    Hello mlindsey,
Unfortunately, the engineering drawings are not available for download. If you need some more specific information or cannot find the dimensions for a specific product I would suggest calling in and speaking with an Applications Engineer. If you don't have a support contract or have already been granted a 30-day trial, feel free to post your questions here and we will help you out as much as we can.

  • Setting agent's default state to Ready in CAD

    Hi,
We are using UCCX 7.0 with CAD 6.0. Is it possible to set the default state of the agent to Ready when they login to their CAD.Right now, they go to the default Not Ready state one they login.
    Thanks,
    DM

    Hi
By design CAD agent initial state after login is always not ready and there is no specific setting in uccx were you can change this behanviour.
However you can check this post were they suggest to create a MACRO

Until we rebooted cisco phone or called someone from her phone it worked fine.  Keep in mind it shows the right state of the agent on cisco supervisor it just shows wrong on the user agent desktop.
    Any suggestions please.
    Thanks,

I got some time to go through the logs.

RONA in CVP is configured differently than in normal environment, you have to use Router Requry there. there are some good post on this topic, you may want to read those.

  • Ucce cad agent stuck in reserved state

    Dears,
It is a UCCE system with CVP and CAD version 9.0
The issue is that when the call is to be delivered to an agent, the CAD is stuck in the reserved state for around 20 seconds then it goes to the Ready state and the caller gets disconnected since I'm not configuring a queue yet.
Has someone faced a similar issue?
    Your help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.
    Lara

Actually it turned out to be a call manager issue. The partition of the agent's extension was misconfigured.

  • Passing ICM Call Variable info to CAD not working

    Hello,
we are running UCCE 7.2(7) with CAD 7.2(1) SR2 and we seem to be having an issue with the ICM Call Variable information being populated in the CAD.
Up until now, it's been working fine. We have our ICM scripts set ICM Call Variables 1, 2 and 3 and they all appear in the CAD when a call goes to an agent. But, just this morning, I added a new DN, mapped it to a scheduled script, and within that script I set that new DN (just like I've been doing with all the rest so far), set a Call Type, then call 'Go To Script' which is the actual script to handle that specific call.
Dialling that DN plays the correct script, and going into the Sales queue sends me to that agent, but no ICM Call Variable info is showing up.
So far this has been working, but now that I've added a new line, it appears to have stopped, but just for this new line, it still appears to be working for all existing lines.
    Any ideas anyone?

    Geoff,
we just have one Layout (default) listed in Enterprise Configuration - Enterprise Data in the Desktop Admin. The fields in this default Layout did not include any of the ICM Call Variables, so we added a few of them (that we set in ICM scripts). Up until now, these have been showing up in CAD when calls to skill groups come through. It's just now that I've added a new DN and ICM script, they are not showing up for that script only. The ICM Call Vars are working for all other DNs in the system, just not this new one.
Just to let you know, we upgraded ICM and CTIOS from 7.1(5) to 7.2(7) just recently, and with that we installed CAD 7.2(1) with SRs 1 and 2.
This is the 1'st time I've added a new line (DN) and ICM script to the system since that upgrade, so could that have something to do with this?
Also, there is a post where someone had this same issue (https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/1053394#1053394) and it was suggested that they shutdown and restart the CAD Services to resolve this.
My question is what services are in fact the CAD services? I would like to try that after hours tonight to see if that resolves this issue.
I verified via CAD that I'm running Build 7.2.1.200
    Any other suggestions?

  • CAD agent wrap up time Settings!!

    Hello,
Here is the requirement I have with one of our customer.
    UCCE version :7.5.1
    CAD Version: 7.6.1
requesting to have the agents be placed in a 5 seconds wrap state after each call and after the 5 seconds auto pushed into a ready state. however, if they need more time they can select the WNR button (before the call ends) and extend that time to 1 minutes. After 1 minutes the system would auto place them in a ready state. Can this be done?

You can set the 5 seconds you need really easy in the UCCX site (Click here), to configure the WNR button, I think you can do it from the Desktop Administrator.

  • UCCE. Mobile Agent

    Hi all,
I have UCCE 8 with CVP.
I have configured all necesary for mobile agent (I guess). I can loggin in nailed mode and call by call mode without problems.
When ICM selects a MA in Ready state, the call is not transfered to MA. In the status bar of CTIOS.Agent Desktop (or CAD) the Agent Status field blink between Ready and Reserved state.
If from IPPhone, I dial directly the DN of LCP where the MA is logged, the call works fine( in nailed mode the call is transfered directly ok and Call by Call the call to real agent phone is dialed).
    Have you any idea?
    Thank you so much.
    Regards,
    Alberto

    Hi,
I thought a issue with CSS/partitions too but did the next test:
      I have the next scenario:
          * I have LCP (1000) and RCP (2000), with the same configuration. I use CSS in line and device. The line's CSS has the partitions of the route patterns and device's CSS has internals partitions.
          * I have a IP Phone (3000)
          * The Mobile Agent is logged in LCP (call by call mode or nailed mode).
For call by call mode:  If the IPPhone(3000) dials the LCP(1000), the system dials the real agent phone and the call is established without problems.
For nailed mode: When the agent is logged, the system dials the real agent phone. When the IPPhone (3000) dials the LCP (1000) and the agent receive the call, the agent answer and the call is established with problems.
So, I guess that there are not problem with CSS/partition of LCP/RCP.
I don't know that other thing can be.
    It's appreciate your help.

  • CAD desktop Freezing

Had a user that had a call showing up in Agent Desktop but did not disconnect after she hung up.  She tried high
ligting the call and hitting the drop button but that did not work and ended up closing out of Agent Desktop so she could take calls. Then I had another user same issue and had to close out of Agent Desktop, only when she logged in this morning she still isnt' getting any calls.  Both cases they were in a "Ready" state.  How can I disconnect the calls when CAD freezes and verify that the agents are recieving calls again, or back in the"Ready" state? Are there any known bugs for CAD freezing? we are using  version 6.6.1

Yes there is.  Well, technically, the bug is not about CAD freezing, but CAD freezing is a symptom of this bug.
The problem is with CUCM not sending the JTAPI call disconnect event to UCCX, which hoses things up.  You probably have a bunch of stale cotnacts in real time reporting.
Search the forums, it was a huge problem recently with lots of discussion surrounding it.
    Is this for UCCX?
