UCCX 8.5 - Historical Datastore on Subscriber Node Problem

Hello,
Over the weekend I did a Reset Replication because the Subscriber and the Publisher was separated for a period of time, it's a cluster over WAN.
Everything looks fine except for the Historical Datastore which looks like this:
Every other Datastore, Repository shows the 2nd Node and looks ok.
I did do the Disable the CDS and HDS, and Enabled them again, but still the HDS does not appear.
How do I fix this without a subscriber rebuild?
Regards
Felix

Hi Felix,
Go to UCCX serviceability page, and navigate to Tools->DataStore Control center->Replication servers and try performing the Reset Replication, see what happens?
Also use the below info,
utils uccx dbreplication repair
This command is only available in the High Availability deployment of Unified CCX. This command can be executed on any node. This command repairs mismatched data between cluster nodes; it does not repair replication setup. The command initiates the repair which executes in the background. The user would have to go to data store control centre in serviceability administration to monitor the status of the repair process. For more information, see the Cisco Unified CCX Serviceability Administration Guide available here:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1846/products_installation_and_configuration_guides_list.html
Command Syntax:
utils uccx dbreplication repair [database_name]|all
Reference:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_5/configuration/guide/uccx851cli.pdf
Hope this helps.

  • Error in component activation on subscriber node UCCX7.0

    Hello,
I have recently been given the administration of a Contact Center with a cluster of UCCX7.0 with an CUCM7 environment. We noticed that the system was in very poor performance and made a maintanance plan on publisher node. Today, needed to make a Database sync and tried to restart the components “Cisco Unified CCX Historical Datastore “, “Cisco Unified CCX Repository Datastore” and “Cisco Unified CCX Agent Datastore”. The last one started OK but “Cisco Unified CCX Historical Datastore “, “Cisco Unified CCX Repository Datastore” displays an error and could not activate them.
    I attach the displayed errors
Could you please help me? I suppose you will need further information, tell me what you need and I'll give you so.
    Thanks in advance

  • Filtering in MB Subscribe Node

I know this question has been posted many times in the past and I've read all the responses but still am unable to get my mb subscribe node to filter. As soon as I add in the xquery line, the node stops working. Can someone either provide a sample .jcx or at least the appropriate syntax for the xquery to execute properly?

Can you kindly confirm whether this issue still persists in the JDeveloper 11g Technology Preview 2 release now available from http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/11/index.html

  • 802.11 RTS/CTS and hidden node problem

    Guys,
    A little confused here.
The hidden node problem is if two nodes within a cell can hear the AP but not each other. OK.
But, when we talk about 802.11b and 802.11g backwards compatibility causing reduced throughtput in terms of bandwidth, it seems that this is always blamed on 802.11g stations having to use RTS/CTS.
    But,
Even in an 802.11g only cell, dont stations still have to use RTS/CTS mechanisms for the hidden node problem?
    I'm confused.com!
    Thx
    Ken

When 802.11b clients are associated to an 802.11g access point, the access point will turn on a protection mechanism called Request to Send/Clear to Send (RTS/CTS). Originally a mechanism for addressing the "hidden node problem" , RTS/CTS adds a degree of determinism to the otherwise multiple access network. When RTS/CTS is invoked, clients must first request access to the medium from the access point with an RTS message. Until the access point replies to the client with a CTS message, the client will refrain from accessing the medium and transmitting its data packets. When received by clients other than the one that sent the original RTS, the CTS command is interpreted as a "do not send" command, causing them to refrain from accessing the medium. One can see that this mechanism will preclude 802.11b clients from transmitting simultaneously with an 802.11g client, thereby avoiding collisions that decrease throughput due to retries. One can see that this additional RTS/CTS process adds a significant amount of protocol overhead that also results in a decrease in network throughput.
In addition to RTS/CTS, the 802.11g standard adds one other significant requirement to allow for 802.11b compatibility. In the event that a collision occurs due to simultaneous transmissions (the likelihood of which is greatly reduced due to RTS/CTS), client devices "back off" the network for a random period of time before attempting to access the medium again. The client arrives at this random period of time by selecting from a number of slots, each of which has a fixed duration. For 802.11b, there are 31 slots, each of which are 20 microseconds long. For 802.11a, there are 15 slots, each of which are nine microseconds long. 802.11a generally provides shorter backoff times than does 802.11b, which provides for better performance than 802.11a, particularly as the number of clients in a cell increases. When operating in mixed mode (operating with 802.11b clients associated) the 802.11g network will adopt 802.11b backoff times. When operating without 802.11b clients associated, the 802.11g network will adopt the higher-performance 802.11a backoff times.

  • Cluster node problems in communciation channel

    Hello,
I often have node problems where all messags get stuck in particular cluster node of communication channel.
Once it is restarted, all messages are working problem,  With respect to that were the following issues. Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.service.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: ConnectException: Connection refused (errno:239)
Please do let me know for the solution to avoid it in the future.

    Hello,
Question 43 of file adapter faq,
Q: J2EE engine hangs with the File/FTP sender channels. How to resolve this ?
A: The reason for this is, some times due to network level issues, a message is waiting forever for a response from a FTP server which is down for some time. Adapter does not know this and try to poll FTP server again with second message. This goes on and on and eventually we would have J2EE engine hanging. To solve this, following things need to be applied:
        1) Set FTP timeout to appropraite value if channel is FTP sender channel.
            2) In advanced mode table options, add a new parameter 'clusterSyncMode' and its value set to 'lock'. This parameter             is without single quotes and case-sensitive.
            3) Last but not least, make sure that you are in latest patches            of SP19/SP20/SP21/SP22 for SAPXIAFC component of XI 3.0                 release and SP10/SP11/SP12/SP13/SP14 for SAPXIAFC component             of XI 7.0 release. Any patch which is released after 11th of    Febraury 2008 for the above releases is fine.
We had the same issue and this did the trick.

  • Historical Datastore Replicate Status: UNKNOWN

    Hi there,
We have recently upgarded the UCCX to 8.5 SU3. HA setup.
All seems to be fine till the supervisors tried to run Historical reports and got the error message "This report might not include complete data for calls received after [date] [time]"
Had a look on the UCCX and seen the following error:
So I guess my question is do i need to reset/repair the whole database replication or is there a more filter way to do this? All other (Agent Datastore, Config Datastore and Repository Datastore) replication status is working fine
If i do have to reset the whole of the database replication is there a best practise?
    Thanks
    Alexis

    Hi Anand,
Below are the replication status of all the datastores. I think I may have found the issue ..the IDS and HDS have not been enabled after the upgarde (first screen shoot). Do you think would this be correct?
    Thanks

  • UCCX 8.02 HA - Datastore replication issue

Just upgraded a UCCX HA 7X system to 8X. Everything is "in service" but when I look at the Datastore, only the Config DataStore shows both Pub and Sub. The Agent/Historical/Repository DataStores only show the Pub. Any idea how to fix this? Is there an easy way in 8X to "deactivate" and "re-activate" the datastores kinda like in 7X? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah., I was thinking about re-building the sub but was hoping there's an easier solution to fix this. I saw some old threads on how to fix this in a windows environment but none on the new platform.

  • UCCX 7.x Historical Reporting Licensing

Hi, is there a limit on the number of historical report users for UCCX 7.x?

Yes. It depends on the MCS hardware and other sizing metrics. If you are a partner, you should run through the config/sizing tool to understand what value is acceptable. If not, ask your partner to do this before changing the value within System Parameters. HRC takes a significant toll on the server and setting this value carelessly can result in call processing interruptions.

  • UCCX 9.x Historical reports

    Hi
I am experiencing installing the Historical Reports Application on a server running Windows 2003.
Even in compatability mode, the application fails with a message that it is not supported and that it has to be installed on Server 2000, Windows XP or Windows 7.
UCCX Version 7 worked on this exact server without issues.
I have tried doing a fresh install of version 9 and even an upgrade from 7 to 9, but both fail.
    thanks

Are you referring to Cisco Historical Reporting Client (HRC)?
    a) This is client (supervisor/manager) application and should be installed on their PC/laptop which is most likely running XP / 7
    b) Are you aware of the availability of CUIC in UCCX v9 onwards? That is something to explore and it will automatically elimate any OS dependencies since its web based

  • UCCX 10.5 Historical Reporting

All - has the Historical Reporting download been removed from UCCX 10.5, and been replaced with Cisco Unified Intelligence Center?  If so, how do I go about configuring supervisors to access reports?
    Thanks,
    Jaime

    Jaime,
Yes, the historical reporting client has been depreciated in favor of CUIC. You will need to configure each supervisor with access to reporting just as before.
The URL for CUIC is: https://uccx:8444/cuic/
You may also access it via the menu: Tools --> Historical Reporting --> Reporting Configuration

  • UCCX 8.5 - Historical Reports - Traffic Analysis report and Application Performance Analysis report different calls presented

    Hi,
    Please Advice.
When I compare Traffic Analysis report and Application report, Calls presented are not same. Please Help !
    Also attached herwith the reports

    Mohammed,
It is common, in many of the Cisco Express 8.5 environments we have looked at, for the Total Incoming Calls given on a Traffic Analysis report to be a higher number than an Application Report.
The Traffic Analysis Report counts every unique sessionID (unique call) that is inbound (contact type of 1).  The Application Reports do a similar thing but qualify (filter) only the records that have an application assigned.
There are simply times where inbound calls have been directed to an "agent" without having an applicaiton assigned.
The best thing the reporting user can do is to run a query on his or her database such as:
         select * from ContactCallDetail where contactType=1and startDateTime > '2012-11-16 10:00:00' and startDateTime < '2012-11-16 11:00:00';
Usually when an application is not assigned to the record in the ContactCallDetail table it is because the destination type is equal to 1, which is an 'Agent' instead of a 'route point'.
So if you modify your select statement to filter by destinationType, you can quickly find the records that don't have the application assigned.
    Example:  select * from ContactCallDetail where contactType = 1 and destinationType = 1 and startDateTime > '2012-11-16 10:00:00 and startDateTime < 2012-11-16 11:00:00';
    When you look at these records, you will see the agent that took the call from the destinationID field.  The number in that field should match up with the field called 'resourceID' in a table called 'resouce';
Example:  select * from resource where resouce=6011; where 6011 was the number you found in the destinationID field.
If there is still confusion about the source of the call - then talk to that agent and find out what is was.
Good Luck and let me know if you need further help.

  • UCCX 5 HA Historical Reports: Footer message

We have some users complaining thta they are shown this message on their reports:
"This report might not include complete data for calls received after [date] [time]."
All reports for the day after the date/time shown, display this message.
According to the documentation we should just wait a few minutes and it will go away. It does not.
I cannot find any problem with the database sync and the users are pointing the reporting client at the Publisher.
    Any ideas?
    Tks.

    Hi,
I have the exact same issue. But only when the user generate the reports for the current day.
The message displays "This report might not include complete data for calls received after" with yesterday's date/time.
I can understand that we have two servers and the data needs to be replicated. But why this happens at a specific time each day. Is there a way we can change this scheduled replication time?
    Thanks,

  • UCCX 7.0 historical report for afterhours callcenter

We have a UCCX7.0 deployment with a CallCenter that closes at 6:00 PM and open the next day at 7:00AM. Customer wants to get a report of how many calls are they getting after business hours. I know I can get this report in a daily base but is any way to get this info for a whole month instead of running the report 30 times individually?
    Thanks,
    Oscar

    Hi
The three ways I can think of getting this would be:
    1) Assuming that you are not sending your out-of-hours calls to the CSQs, you could run the 'Application Performance Analysis' report for the month, then run one of the 'Contact Service Queue' reports to see how many calls go to the queue. The number of calls presented to the application minus the number presented to the CSQ would be the number of calls that are out of hours (assuming there are no other branches the call may go down which result in calls not reaching the CSQ).
    2) Run a detailed call-by-call ccdr report for the entire period;  export to Excel and then use Excel or Access to filter out the  dates/times that you aren't interested in.
    3) Write a custom report/stored procedure based on the canned reports that filters out the in-hours times.

  • UCCX 7.01 Historical Reporting

Need a little help on formatting HR reports. My customer exports the icd_agent_state_detail_chart_en_us and the agents names are all overlapping and jumbled up. How can I fix this.

You'll need the Crystal Reports XI Developer suite (you can get a 30 day free trial). Once you have it you can modify the .rpt files to adjust spacing as desired.
