UCCX call back - 10 digits number followed by an extension number

Hi,
I've built the UCCX call back script which works fine for 10 digits direct lines. In case, if caller doesnt have a direct line, and he wants to leave a 10 digits pilot number followed by 5 digits internal extension number. How to achieve this in UCCX?
For example - 614-XXX-XXXX (extension XXXXX)
Has anyone done something similar in the past? Would really appreciate your quick response.

Thanks Anthony. That means, 
- Use 10 digit number in "Destination" field of Call Consult transfer step
- Provide extension number in the "Outpulse Digits" field
- What does "Timeout" mean in this step? 
How the pause things work in this step. I mean, once 10 digit number is dialed and connected, then is there any pause in between before extension number is dialed by the system automatically? What typically happens is, company will have the welcome greeting, then they offer you an option of dialing party's extension number? If there is not enough pause in the "Call Consult transfer" step, how will it be taken care of ?

  • UCCX Call Back After Adjustable Time Period

    I have been asked to create a script that allows a person to call in, enter their phone number, and after a certain number of minutes a call back is initiated. I have found the script from the script repository named BaseLineAdvQueuing which has call back builtin, but I am curious how I could create some sort of timer that is adjustable based on caller input to schedule the call back. For example, "enter the number of minutes before you wish to recieve a call back from the system" the person may enter 45 and this would set the ball rolling for the call back a quarter of an hour later.
    Any ideas how I could acomplish the timer aspect of this?

    This can get complicated, especially if your call center is already complicated.  Basically, you are going to need to write records to your database.  Have a scheduled task check your database entries for records which need to be processed for callback.  Have UCCX initiated via an HTTP Trigger.  That script will then place a call to your CSQ script, wait for an Agent, and then connect the Agent to the caller.
    Some challenges you might face:
    Scripting UCCX for such a solution
    DB design and access
    Error handling/User experience
    Consideration for EWT
    Consideration for which CSQ
    Reporting
    Cisco will not support you on this, so whatever you do, make it as simple as possible while still achieving the goal.  You're going to need to support it yourself.

    I ordered an Open Box NS-50D550N and specifically chose to pay a bit extra for the "Certified - Excellent" version of the product. It was my understanding this means a Geek Squad member has reviewed the TV, ensured everything works, and ensured all accessories are included in the box per this page: http://www.geeksquad.com/certified-openbox.aspx.  Very excited for a big screen TV!

    I received the TV and unfortunately no screws were included for the stand, no screws were included for wall hanging (New version of this product includes them), and there was a big puncture hole that went through both boxes, through the packing foam, and hit the screen. I called the 888 number and was told by a representative that "Unfortunately open box items are sold as open box due to the fact that they may be missing parts and accessories". When I pointed out that the item I purchased was "Certified - Excellent" and that I purposely chose this version because I wanted to avoid these problems, I was told the only thing I could do was return the TV for a refund.
    That would have been fine if I didn't want this TV, but I did and unfortunately there were no other open box versions of this TV available. I was basically being told "tough luck there's nothing we can do but give you your money back". When I pointed out that I wanted a TV, not my money back, and that surely there's something they can do I felt like I was continuing to hit a brick wall. "No there's nothing we can do".
    I then noticed that this TV was on sale "new" for $399. I pointed this out and said could I get a credit for the difference since I did not receive a "certified excellent" version of this TV (it did include the "certified" tape all over the box though!). I was told to hold on, then when they came back they said they issued me a $30 gift card. 
    "Great!" I thought. But, unfortunately this card has to come in the mail, I could not get the number over the phone or be issued an e-gift card, so I could not use it to immediately discount the cost of a new TV. Sort of worthless as I would miss the sale! When I pointed this out I was again told there was nothing they could do.
    I was getting ticked off at this point because I felt like I am really trying to give Best Buy my money and they just don't want to work with me at all! I asked to speak to a supervisor. "Emily the supervisor" came on the line. I explained my situation and she seemed to understand! I felt like I was getting somewhere finally! She said she would issue an immediate $32 credit to my credit card in order to offset the cost of the Open Box I purchased ($367) with a new version of this TV ($399). I could then return the Open Box for a full refund and enjoy my new TV at the cost of the "Geek Squad Certified Open Box" I was supposed to have gotten.
    Awesome! I was overjoyed with the news and thanked her for the support. I told her I wanted UPS to pick it up as we live a bit far from a store and it would just be more convenient. She told me that would be no problem, that she issued a refund and to wait 24 hours for my paperwork to come in my email.
    1 hour and 15 minutes on the phone with 1-888-BEST-BUY

    UPS shows up with the label. Unfortunately I had not received any RMA information in my email though. I called the 888 number again and I was told to not give the TV to UPS until I receive my RMA information in my email. Day after that (1/15) - UPS shows up, no RMA info in my email. Called again and told to not give it to them. 
    In the mean time I had ordered my new TV for local pickup the night I spoke with emily (1/13) and had my wife swing by and get the box. I get home and unfortunately she didn't notice the huge puncture mark on the front of the box. I packed the TV back up and took it back to the store to swap it out with one that wasn't skewered by a fork lift. Got that guy back home and decided I would set him up tomorrow.

    I give the 888 number a call again and tell them I still have not received any RMA information but that UPS continues to try to pick the TV up and bring their own tag. The representative tells me I might have better luck just taking the TV back to the store to return it there.
    So, I decide to do that. First though, let's check out my new TV! I get it out of the box, plug it in, and the screen is completely shatered. Frustration!!! I pack my 2nd new TV up and the Open Box up and take it to the store that night. I wait in line, talk to the rep at customer service and tell her I need to return this open box and swap out this new TV for a third new TV. 
    The TV manager wants to see the screens for both before processing the return and exchange. I tell him that's fine no big deal. They pull the open box TV out and plug it in, and much to my surprise that screen is shattered too, exactly where the hole was in the box! So not only was my "Certified - Excellent" TV missing parts, but was also broken. Ugh!  He plugs my 2nd new TV in and also verifies that screen was shattered.
    The customer service rep starts with the return for the Open Box. Types in the order information, and the system wants to give me a refund for $367, the cost of my open box, minus the $32 I was already credited. I explain to her that "Emily the supervisor" credited me an extra $32 to make up for the price difference between the open box and the new TV. She goes and gets the manager, and he explains to me that the system will not allow him to give me the full refund and I need to contact the 888 number to get it straightened out. More frustration!!!
    I call up the 888 number, talk to several people, and finally land with a supervisor in the Home Theatre department. She explains to me that what Emily told me is wrong, she had no authority to do that, it was impossible for me to get an extra $32 on my credit card, and a refund for the price of the open box minus the $32 was the best they could do in her department. She then tells me I need to discuss this further with the "back office" department and sends me back there.
    I speak with that representative, and she tells me I need to send it back to bestbuy.com through UPS. I explain to her the problems I have been having with receiving the RMA information in my email. She tells me (paraphrased) "Oh no! When you have UPS pick up you won't get an extra emails from us They bring the tag and thats all you need!"   ........  
    3 days of phone calls, several different reps, and she's the first one to tell me I won't be getting an extra email. Extreme frustration!!!!
    I then explain to her the issues with the extra $32 credit. She looks and tells me as best as she can tell if I return the TV to them I will get my full refund for $367 + tax and be allowed to keep my extra $32 credit. I tell her great, lets get this return going and she tells me UPS will be out to my house tomorrow (1/16).
    I then get my third new TV and the open box back on the dolly and back in my car.
    1 hour and 20 minutes on the phone with 1-888-BEST-BUY.   2 and a half hours in the store.

    I've plugged my new TV in today and everything looks great finally! My concern is, at this point, I have no idea what I am getting back on my card when you guys finally receive my open box TV. I can tell you I want what was promised to me though, a full refund plus I be allowed to keep the $32 already credited back.
    If this is not standard procedure, I feel like the ~3 hours I have spent talking to customer service reps, plus the 2.5 hours I spent in the store last night, and the 4 TV's I have hauled around the house and the car allows me to expect the $32.
    It's more the principle of the matter at this point.

  • UCCX Called Number

    Hello,
    I am writing a UCCX script that pulls the calling and called numbers and does some other cool stuff to find an outcome and finally what to do with that specific call.
    Everything is working except I am not getting the called number. The called number I am seeing is the CTI Route Point number that was called to get the call into UCCX rather than the PSTN number.
    The setup is as follows:
    PSTN ---> SIP ---> CUBE ---> CUCM ---> UCCX 
    I can see the called number in the SIP messages and of course call manager is routing based all the called number I have done everything I can think off but it is still not showing me the PSTN called number in UCCX.
    I have attached a screen shot of the Get Call Contact Info step in UCCX scripting let me know if you need to see anything else related to the script.

    If the DNIS supplied at ingress to CUCM does not match the CTI RP DN then either you have Significant Digits stripping the called number down on the SIP trunk or a translation pattern modifying the called number before it gets to the CTI RP. In either case, CCX can only work with what CUCM gives it over the CTI QBE channel. A translation pattern resets the calling/called number to whatever transform it is performing so "Original Called Number" won't work either.
    Just mentally map the PSTN DNIS to the CTI RP DN and program the script to act accordingly based on the CTI RP DN.

    How Do I Permanently STOP my Text  messaging  Call Back Number from Popping  back  up. ? I take  it  off and  save  the  setting but  after awhile  it  comes  back on  my  text  messages. And I  have  to  reset  it.

  • Nokia lumia 928 sms call back number

    My wife and I both upgraded to the Nokia Lumia 928. since we have, our text messages to each other are followed by "call back at" and then it gives the phone number of the person calling.  Called verizon tech support and they said that it is a feature that is sent from the "nokia" phone with your text message and that there is currently no way to dissable it from the sending "nokia" phone. Has anyone figured out how to get this to stop?

    I concur with rayhipkiss. The only way I can call back the sender of a text message I've received is to tap on the name or number of the sender when viewing the text message. This is using an unbranded UK-CV Lumia 1020 and an operator branded Lumia 920.
    I'd guess that that it is indeed something that your operator has added to their custom variant of the 928.
    Do you see this "call back on" after messages sent to you by someone on other networks, and to they see it on messages that you send them?

    How do I turn off the call back number in text messages? This is an extremely annoying feature that I don't want on my phone, how do I turn it off?

    I know that including that signature in each message can be a bit of a nuisance so allow me to help you out today!
    If you go into your messages, please click on the 3 small at the bottom corner. This will bring up a menu and you can click into settings. In there, you will see signature. Here you can simply turn it off, or put in whatever you'd like instead. I hope this helps!

  • UCCX v9 Call back script

    Hi everyone,
    I have built some scripts on earlier versions that work ok.  The first script I am building on v9 has a callback feature on it.  I have started with the script_repository_701 files as a basis and the 'normal' call flow works fine.  I have implemented the call back feature, the script captures the callers details and then hangs up, makes an outbound call and then gets stuck with the following loop as documented on the attached word doc.  i have searched for a solution online but haven't found any pointers.  I have attached the scripts for your review too.

    I have a working script
    call back is configured on the menu option 1 only for testing.
    once selected it prompts for a contact number and then a short message from the caller, once confirmed it hangs up.  the script holds the callers place in the queue and waits for an agent to respond by making an outbound call to the CBAgentLoop script.
    Once an agent responds they get a prompt to press any key listen to the message, and then a menu to repeat the message, hear the number read out, or dial the stored number with some conditions applied.
    If the caller is busy or the number is incorrect the script will read out an error message, the attempted dialled number and loop back to the agent menu.
    This seems to work ok for me but I would appreciate any feedback, tips or questions you may have.

  • VZW to VZW text messages have call back number in every message after Tango update

    First of all I want to say how much I appreciate VZW rolling out the WP updates in a timely manner for once (is this the first time they've ever done so, for any phone?), even with the outdated technology (or just the one device), and I'm sure it'll keep us WP faithfulls happy for a little while longer. However I do have an issue with the latest update because it seems like VZW has been affected in such a way that now I have a "Call back at xxx-xxx-xxxx" after every text message received from a Verizon customer. At first I thought it was my friends and family telling me to call them back, and I did (to some degree of annoyance caused me and others) and now its just a plain nuisance. Some web perusing resulted in a few others having the same issue and only on verizon so far
    I know who's texting me at any given time because their names are displayed on top and if I want to call them all I have to do is tap the name (and if no name then the number is so displayed), so displaying "call back at" so and so is just unnecessary and only serves to clutter up an otherwise clean nested message history/interface. So my question is there a way to disable this (which I have yet to find) or does VZW know about this error and plan to fix it, hopefully very soon? Or is this an issue with microsoft?

    I found the answer to this problem.  I think it depends on what kind of phone you have, but I was able to turn off the CB# in the messages.  I have a Samsung Stratosphere.  I was able to go into Messaging, then the menu icon, then choose Settings.  Under the settings there was a choice called Callback enabled.  I was able to to uncheck this choice and now my callback number no longer shows up.  Hope this helps everyone!

    It has righted itself. I am not sure how. But I turned off the Powerbook. And on the MacBook Air, I made sure to change the MAC number to the MacBook Air one.
    I restarted the MacBook Air. Now, the internet radio is working well, no rebuffering the stream every ten seconds.
    And when I turned on the Powerbook and tried the internet this time, I could not get connected.
    I think the bad internet connection on the MacBook Air was due to the fact that the internet was being shared by two computers. Funnily enough, the internet was OK on the Powerbook but was not good on the MacBook Air when I did that.
    So, it didn't turn out to be a MacBook Air problem but an internet provider problem.
    I will keep my fingers crossed that the MacBook Air internet connection keeps working fine.
    I think it's possible to use the internet on both computers simultaneously but the quality of the connection is poor on the MacBook Air when I do that. And when I turn off one of the computers, it is not possible to share an internet connection when I turn that computer back on again. I have to set up the MAC number of that computer again on the nespot site for it to access the internet. But if I do that, the internet quality on the MBA suffers.

    Okay, you are correct the call is not supposed to ring in. Have you done any troubleshooting on the phone? First off, try power cycling the phone. Turn the phone off, then back on again. If that does not work, then try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. See if that changes things. Is the caller using the exact number that you blocked, or is it possible they are using another number, or have restricted the Caller ID?

  • Is there anyway to correct the call back telephone number mentioned in the scheduled call from Apple?

    I just had a call from Apple tech team regarding my iPhone not getting activated after inserting nano sim and they decided that my new unlocked iPhone5 needs replacement. I am already disappointed by Apple bcos of the delay in getting my new iPhone5 started and now declaring that the set I received is a faulty one and need replacement.
    Again for replacement they have schedule another call from sales team and doing so they have mentioned the number which is not right. I told him to call me back on the same number but an email which i received post that call has a wrong phone number in it. It could not have gone worse.
    Do anyone know how to change the call-back number to a scheduled call from apple?

    The devices that are listed are: 2 under the name of the device that synced incorrectly with mine and then 3 others that are not associated with my itouch. The name of the ipod, before the incorrect sycning is no longer under devices.  It has been replaced with the incorrect one because I can see the serial # of my ipod under the wrong name.
    The playlists that are in my itunes library are from an ipod that I used a few times before I took this one over... Which happens to be the ipod that took on the ID of my itouch.
    Both of these ipods used to be my kids.. I used my sons a few times and then switched to my daughters.  They each had their names attachted to their particular devices and now it just says my sons, which is the ipod that itunes was connecting to when all this happened. The really strange thing is my son doesnt use his ipod any longer and now uses his phone for music...So, it had been a while since that particular device was even synced to itunes!

  • HT5035 I had a balance of $5.30 on my account. It disappeared when I added a $25 gift card. I have tried to get this issue resolved thru email. I need a call back. Where do I look to get a call back number for this issue

    I have already contacted apple thru email, twice. I don't see that they have an option for a call back for a missing iTunes balance, I did however see where I could get a call back(and did) for not being able to sign in on another device to make a purchase. This problem was resolved quickly for this device. I told this rep about the unresolved problem of the missing iTunes balance and he said he could transfer me but the wait times are very long. In my 2 email correspondences on this missing balance issue both times I was told to check my balance history- which does not resolve the issue that I am having to go thru a huge hassle to get my missing balance back prior to my card purchase. I had a balance of $5.86 show on my ipad2 and on my Mac book pro prior to applying the $25 gift card. Then the balance showed only $25 after apply my gift card, now here's what's weird: aprox. A week and a half later I sign in on my iPod touch and shows a balance of $5.30!, but when it has me resign into iTunes that balance disappeared, and the $25 gift card balance shows up. I made NO PURCHASES to use the $5.86/ or $5.30- so I want my money to equal $30.30/ or $30.86 as it should, and I want to not go thru so much to take care of it. To just hope Apple would have a call back option for this type of issue. I won't be buying iTunes gift cards or purchasing thru iTunes if my balance disappears when I do so.

    When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
    As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

    This may be a bit late, so hopefully you found this on your own. But in order to unregister the event pass a null value for the callback function parameter in the DAQmxRegisterEveryNSamplesEvent function (Nothing in VB).

  • Call forwarding to wrong number

    I have call forwarding set to forward calls to my cell phone. In the past few days three or four calls have been transferred instead to my home phone, which is a big nuisance, because I'm in the US at the moment and, because of the time difference, they're often waking my husband in the middle of the night in Italy. 
    These callers don't even know my home phone number. They always call my US Skype number. A few months ago, I had temporarily set forwarding to my home phone, but changed it back to the cell phone. I checked the settings on my account, and it's definitely set to the cell phone number. When it first happened, I first checked the account, then I asked someone to try calling my Skype number. That time it transferred correctly to my cell phone. I didn't understand how it could have happened, but thought it woul never happen again. However it's happened again twice today. Now some people don't want to risk waking my husband, or attempting to converse with him in English, so they're just not calling me at all.
    If anyone could solve this mystery, I'd greatly appreciate it, and so would my husband.

    Lots of SKYPE tel. numbers were wrongfully forwarded to my company's land line 626-576-9900 in the past 30 days (4/20/2015 - 5/20/2015) or so. Please test (call your SKYPE tel# from other lines to see where it ends) and call SKYPE to correct it as soon as possilbe if you own any of these numbers! I suggest everyone who owns a SKYPE number do the test. You might have missed a lots of calls you supose to receive. These numbers are as following.

    I've chat on-line with SKYPE customer/tech. support 2 times, got 2 case#s, 1288597626 (5/5/2015) and 1288963288 (5/8/2015), however I tested 2 of the above numbers just now (10:15 AM, 5/20/2015), both are still forwarded to my company's number 626-576-9900. One of SKYPE custmer service reps. did tell me that they (SKYPE) can do nothing about it because I am not the owner of any of these numbers. Please spread the above message to any one you know who has a SKYPE number.
