UCCX Screen Pop doesnt close when call is finished

UCCX Agents using CAD for a Bank.
Callers enter their account number and check their balances and other automated things.
They decide to speak to an agent and press the appropriate digit.
The call comes to CAD with name, account number, balance, and contact info.
When the call ends, and even if the agent disables, that screen pop info is still displayed. Why don’t the previous caller ‘call variables’ disappear when the agent disconnects the call and even goes into a not ready state?
I am tol this is the Way CAD has always oprated. You always see the details from the last call you were on, until a new call is answered.
Is this normal beghavior and really nothing we can do to have it close upon call disconnect?

The idea would be that the info is still available for the agent to refer to when wrapping up the call and doing whatever work follows on.
The thinking is presumably that there isn't really any benefit to having it clear when there is nothing to replace it with yet.

Making one Pop-up close when another is opened.

I'm working on an application that shows enlarged bits of
text when their smaller counterparts are clicked. The problem I'm
currently having is that I need to make all of the other open
pop-ups close when a new one is opened. I considered adding an
invisible box the size of the stage to each movie clip, but that
would be unbelievably messy, so I'm trying to avoid that solution.

So are you saying that the text and pop up are in the same
movieclip?
If so, then that loop function would change to...

and you would put that function in the timeline where all the
text mc's live, but on a separate actions layer if you don't have
one already (good housekeeping).
The code for your frame 1 button in each text mc would be..

(Note (again): there may or may not be a timing issue in the
on(release) code since it takes time to move to a frame. So if
things aren't displaying properly, that can be dealt with as well.)
You can still use either looping method I mentioned before...
array (as shown here) or the numbered-names approach shown

UCCX Screen Pops

I am new to the Contact Center environment. I have been task with trying to assist in the collaboration of a 3rd party application (Ticketing System) and UCCX 8.5.1. I am trying to find out where we could place a url in a script. I will need for the url to pop up once a call comes in. We will then populate the ticket with the customer information. My portion of the project is determining where to place the url. Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

Start by taking a look at the Cisco Desktop Administrator user guide. I included a link below. There is a section titled "HTTP Action" which discusses how you can configure the desktop to pop up a URL with parameters from the agent desktop.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

How can i avoid a pop-up window when calling the avi.dll?

Ok, here another try!
My problem is as followed:
My program calls the avi.dll to initialize, write into and close an
avi-file.
Now, when initializing it, a pop-up window is shown so you can choose the
codec to use.
My question is, can I pre-define the codec, so the pop-up window won't show
up?
The program is meant to write several files, some starting without the user
having to control them, so the pop-up window really isn't helping.
Any ideas?
I attached the avi.dll in case you need it to look at the problem.
Also helpful would be, if someone could tell me, how I can take a closer
look at the structure of the dll. Is there a program I can do that with?

Hello Martin,
I have used this DLL before and wasn't asked to choose a codec. Maybe if you use all three functions (init, write, close), it works without problems. Here's a example that uses IMAQ hardware to acquire an 8-bit image at 30fps and writes each image to an avi file.
There are utilities to examine dlls (see what functions are exported and what the dependencies are, but you can't see source code since it is compiles.) Check out QuickView or DependencyWalker.

My ipod had a little rain damage and screwed up but later on fixed it and was fine. Later on that day the connect to itunes screen popped up and when i connected it it said "your ipod has a passcode" and then says try again. can anyone fix this?

It will erase all of the information on your ipod. When was the last time you synced your ipod? If recently you should be able to recover most of your files. If not you will only be able to have the files since you last synced it to your computer. Can it sync it ignoring the passcode? If so try that. If none of these work you may just have to plainly restore it or put it in recovery mode.

Screens pop up one at the time?

I am building HP 5371A whic have different modes which cary different screen display. I have build all the modes as separate VI's and now I will put them together but I am wondering what block would make certain front panel show up when I activate that mode/VI? property Node maybe????

To make a subVI's panel visible when you call it, select VI Properties from the file menu or right clicking on the VI's icon. You then want to choose the Window Appearance category and click the Customize button. On the Customize Window Appearance screen, select Show Panel When Called and Close Afterwards if Originally Closed. This assumes that you're not calling the VIs dynamically with VI Server. If you are, then you use the property Front Panel Window.Open

If Safari crashes on launch and you don't have another web browser, you should be able to launch Safari by starting up in safe mode.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those.
After removing the malware, remember to reset your home page in all the web browsers affected, if it was changed.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. Now here's the unique part. When I go to turn it back on, the apple loading screen pops up but it takes somewhere from 3-5 minutes for it to boot up. Then the lock screen with the time and whatnot shows up. From this point on, my iPhone has a chance to shut itself back down and I have to repeat the process over and over again. Most of the time the lock screen flashes and then goes straight to black (shut down) but sometimes I can make it a few menus before it shuts itself down.
The only way to keep the iPhone on is to plug it into a charger of any sort. I'm fairly certain it isn't a battery charge issue because this happens at any % of power and sometimes my iPhone can use up all of its charge and not have this happen while other times I can be at 90-100% and it could randomly shut itself down. What can I do in this situation if some has some solution to this problem please let me know on [email protected] Thanks!

UCCX 10.5 Scripting: Allowing a CAD Task Button to Change A Boolean Value to Skip a Screen Pop

Good Morning All...
I've found some wonderful information on here in the past and I'm hoping you all can assist me now.
I have a CCX Script (10.5(1)SU1) that is working beautifully. Within the CAD integration there is a screen pop which sends an ANI value to a corporate application to bring up customer information, this is also working with no issue. I've been given a request from the call center manager to put a task button on the agents' CAD instance to allow them to turn off these screen pops in the event that they need to be on the same screen for longer than the work/wrap-up time between calls.
My Questions Are These:
1. I know I can use a task button to set an Enterprise Data value i.e. skip_pop = true (skip_pop being tied to the Boolean value in the script). That being said, I can't change the value until the call reaches the agent and that is too late in the process to stop the prompt from running. Is there a better/different way that I am not thinking off to allow the agent to interact with Boolean value before the call arrives to the agent?
2. Am I completely off base? Is there a much better way that I can do this in general?

So I'm in the midst of working through this mess for a button push and I've hit a wall. Perhaps you'll have some insight? In my CDA (see screen shot) I've configured an HTTP action that is in theory sending the agent ID and a value of true.
In my child script (attached) I have a Get HTTP contact info where I am looking for "Agent_ID" and "sPopState" when I do a test run with a reactive debug I am getting success but the database is basically adding lines but with no information in either column (I have verified that my DB is working correctly).
Do you by chance have any idea what I might be missing? I'd like to think I'm close but I'm getting into dark territory for my experience level.

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:

Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Quit and relaunch Mail, and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.

Screen popping when closing--2012 Macbook Air

Is it normal for the screen or hinge to make a popping sound sometimes when closing the lid? Particularly after extended periods of use, my MBA's screen will make a soft popping noise as I start to close the lid; I can also feel the popping in my hand if I put my whole hand on the back of the lid to close it. It almost sounds like someone popping their knuckles, except it is just one soft pop. Other than that, closing the screen feels fine.

When using a headset, answering a call from it is as simple as pushing the ANSWER button on the headset. The call should then be answered and the source automatically set to BT headset. No need to select the source using the iPhone. I suspect there is an ANSWER button on car hands-frees, but I don't know for sure, since I don't own one.

Annoying screen appears everytime when calling another html page.

i deployed my form application onto the web successfully. But
there's one screen (Oracle Developer Server R6i) appearing every
time I go to another page.
For example: I have 2 forms A and B, each has its own html page
containing Applet tab. The application starts from A.html, and
A will call B.html. This oracle screen displays all the time
when i click back or forward.
How can I eliminate it?

The reasons I want to use web.show_document are:
Firstly I don't know how to close the calling form when open the
called form. The code works in client/server env, but it just
hangs there on the web.
Secondly, I hope to use the web back button to return to the
previous form.
Is there anyway i can do to eliminate the splash screen and
function well?
My guess is that you are talking about the splash screen that
you can disable with a paramter in the HTML file.
But this will not happen if you use normal CALL_FORM or
OPEN_FORM buil-in in forms to activate one form from the other.
Don't use web.show_document to open a new form it will only work
slower that way.
