UIX and hGrid Component with BC4J support

I heard, that UIX Developer Team developing hGrid component with BC4J support. Does anyone know when it's ready?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but the uix bc4j tags have been deprecated in favor of ADF, so there will not be a uix bc4j hgrid tag. For 10g production there will be an hgrid in the data binding palette.

Menu Actions and the Component with Focus

Can a menu selection (like cut, copy and paste) be sent to the component with focus without me having to track and store which component had focus last.
For instance: textfields support cut, copy and paste by themselves (Ctrl-C and so forth), but what is the easiest way to do the same with menus. Do i really have to track the focus at all times and mess around with Transferables and Clipboards and stuff?

Pdf and djvu viewer with bookmark support.

Hello everyone.
Can someone advise me pdf and djvu viewer with a bookmarks support?
I was using evince before but some time ago a bookmark support
ceased to work for me.
I mean a bookmark support with ability to open saved documents
after restarting of viewer.

Thanks for answer. As far as I discovered apvlv remembers the last position in pdf and djvu files but opens it only in pdf files correctly. At least it happens with my djvu files.

UIX XML & Shuttle with BC4J

What is the way to use the UIX XML shuttle component with data coming from a bc4j view object?
And how to process the changes on that component (like the sequence of data)?
Finally, can we adopt UIX-XML-BC4J and be sure that all normal problems of an application are covered?

But it doesn't work. The shuttle component gets rendered but the list is empty.

"Normal" for me is an application with lists of element (editable, sortable), master-detail-detail, upload and display of object (image, Word doc, PDF, . . .), trees with items from db, use of personalized templates.

Hgrid - Issue with an unusual scenario

I've a Hgrid component with two levels, one VO master and one VO details and a View Link that is created in runtime to join them. In my page, this Hgrid shows the results based on parameters from a search region (I'm not using query region since it doesn't fit with the requirements). Basically what I need now is to filter the details VO based on extra parameters passed in runtime. In order to meet this requirement I've tried to use createViewLinkBetweenViewObjects method as the example below:

I'm currently facing two issues with the above code:
1. My query is grouped by ITEM_CODE and consequently I'm not selecting the ORGANIZATION_ID attribute, even though it is defined in the View I'm selecting. After executing the application with the above code, the following error comes out:

Thanks for your answer but the "9246" in the organization_id is passed in runtime.. How can I handle this since this VO is the Detail in a View Link??
And If I do this:

What apps are you trying? TV out video only works with apps that support TV out. If the app does not support TV out you will still get aoudio via the component cable

SCA and C++ component support

Hi
We are evaluating SOA solution for a customer financial product, which is based heavily on C++. How will Oracle 11g with SCA, support integrating C++ application, apart from BPEL and mediator component?
Is it in the roadmap and when can we expect this to be GA?

good point. I would be very interested in this, too. I think having a C++ and Java SCA implementation type is really desirable. We did some prototyping using Apache Tuscany and the results are quite promising.
Any information if and when Java or C++ implementation types will be available in Oracle 11g?

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.

You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be.

I have had to erase my disk since then with trouble with Apple Store not recognising my machine and the reload from Time Machine has given complications . Can you please cancel my trial and return my Trial money.

Is there a way to actually open a ticket with BB support and get an answer?

Ok, so I haven't been here long, and only a few times, yet I see a lot of posts with no actual answer, or help, or information on specific problems. I am having trouble, created a post, and there are no responses. Does BB actually have a support team, or trouble ticket process, or is this the only avenue?

FYI -- these forums are a user-to-user support channel, not a user-to-RIM conduit. Front line support for BB's is, by contract, not provided by RIM. The carriers and authorized resellers are responsible for front line formal support to end users. It is possible to bypass your carrier and seek assistance direct from RIM, but such involves fees since you are bypassing your support agreement with your carrier. The "Support and Services" tab toward the top of these forum pages provide information about that. But, if you do go through your carrier for support, they can escalate into RIM at no fee to you if they so choose to.

Problem with iTunes purchased track. I purchased an album from the store and downloaded. I contacted support as one track was defective and had this one track setup to re-download, which was successful.

I purchased an album with 11 tracks from the Store. When the download was complete, I edited the name to make it easier for me to find. I then synced my iPod and iPad with the new album. However I found that one of the tracks was defective and after writing to the support community, a second download was setup and this fixed the bad track. I was surprised that when the track downloaded, it went to the track with the new name. However it works perfectly on my computer. For some reason, the iPod and iPad have synced a few times but the track for this album on these is the original track with the defect and this has not fixed, though there have been multiple times that it has synced. The laptop with its corrected track works fine.
The message from support told me to be sure that the software on my laptop was the current version and I did correct this before getting that corrected download. However I notice that my iPod says that it has the latest version and won't check for an update until 2/24.
Can you help me figure this out. I thought if I could delete this track off the iPod and iPad that it would sync the correct version, but I can't see how to delete these.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the problem tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.
