UIX/XML username / password while testing from IDE

Hello,
When we test a UIX XML / BC4J application from the Jdeveloper IDE (9.0.2) with the deploy password option selected for the connection it works OK.
If we uncheck this option however, we get a connection error, and no opportunity to specify the password.
We have the following questions:
(for testing from the IDE)
1) Must we build a login uix page to ask the user for it?
2) Once we have the user and the password, how can we use them to connect to the application module, instead of the username and password from the bc4j.xcfg?

This functionality is not currently supported by the BC4J UIX data binding.

SDM Error while deploying from IDE

Hi I am getting an error while deploying from IDE.
-- Server XXX did not accept login request as admin on port 50018.Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server XXX at port 50018: XXX
This problem has been discussed herein SDN earlier.I also checked in the SDM trouble shooting guide and accordingly have added a entry in the host file under sys32/drivers, but still I continue to get that error.Any pointers will be appreciated.

Have you ever been able to deploy into SDM. What is the password that you type. Try typing SDM and see. If that doesnt work then you will have to change the password of your SDM. Your password either has been corrupted or changed
Anyway follow these steps
1. Start the Config Tool.
(Execute <SAPj2eeEngine_install_dir> \configtool\configtool.bat.)
1. Select the secure store node.
The configuration for the secure storage in the file system appears.
1. Select the admin/password/<SID> entry.
2. Enter the administrator user's new password in the "Value" field and choose "Add".
3. Choose "File" --> "Apply" to save the data.
Note: Contrary to the message that appears, you do not need to restart the server or cluster for this change to take effect.
4. Finally restart SDM server.

XML Serialization Error- While testing BAPI turned Web service

I have a requirement to create sales order in SAP R/3 from an e-commerce site. I went through many forums suggesting "exposing FMs into Web Service". I wrapped BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 and BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT into one FM and exposed as Web Service. I did a successful test-sequence.
When I tested the web service without giving values I got a response asking for "Sold-to Party or Ship-To Party". While testing the Web service with some values, I got the below error -
XML Serialization Error. Object content does not correspond to Schema restrictions of type [urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions][numeric4].
The e-commerce team tried to hit the Web service and got the below error-
IWAB0383E Error validating parameters
Note: Our servers does not have any ENHPacks. Only ECC 6.0.
Please suggest what might have gone wrong and how to resolve this.

And one more things are
I don't know the exact reason, but now the WSDL is working fine. No Idea, will it be consistent.
No changes in import and export parameters of RFC and no change in code, even if the logic is changed it should not affect the output on SOAP UI but in my case it does.
Wonder why all this happens, I cannot explain the exact reason technically because my RFC works fine every time, only issue is with SOAP UI.
From SAP point of view FM is working fine, and input parameter of FM is optional, validations are done by the programming logic and it will capture the message and its details with respect to input data.
I am not sure SOAP will work consistently and we are using ECC 5.0 most of the t-code not there like "SOAMANAGER" and all.

Did you copy that sample from some demo?
The part "<XML Path>" is meant to be replaced by a real XPath fragment.
Here, I think you may just want this :

I guess, you didn't give proper repository password(not weblogic password) while you're deploying rpd in em.
What is your log file (NQServer.log) saying?
Login to EM, go to Security > credential store > oracle.bi.enterprise > locate current repository key then edit it to enter proper password

I saw one of our databases in the EM 12c has red arrow. When I clicked on the database, on top of the screen says "ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied". I have checked dbsnmp and it was blocked so I unblocked it and reset the password. The system password is good. Would you please some one tell me what is the problem?

Run the report service as a local account with administrator rights.
On the target server, create a local account with the same user name and password.
Now you can use the hidden shares ($) for example:

Pretty much the same thing except by default, the report server runs inline. I have not been able to get the entire service to run as a particular user. To get around this, I created a report server service and do not run the reports in process. It uses the separate service.

edit <ORACLE_HOME>\reports\conf\rwservlet.properties file.

Edit service for rep90_name and change it to run as local administrator user you created on both servers and then start the service.

XML Spy Error while testing the SOAP request

I have generated a webservice from an XI scenario, I am trying to test the webservice through XML Spy.
I am getting the following error when I am sending the SOAP request.
Where do we specify the authentication information (user/pwd) in XML Spy.
It is not even poping any screen to enter username and password.

Wrong User name or Password while connecting from SAP Business One - PL26

I have restored my database on the server.I am using Patch Level PL26
I am getting an error while logging to Server
Wrong username and password....Message [131-93]
Is it because i have not imported the Temporary Liscence.But when i work on my laptop, it doesnt give me an error with the same username and Password.
I have checked SAP B1 Suite Service Manager also......it is "ON".
Can you please give me an help on this issues, why is it giving this error

We are trying to test the source system from BW. We have defined LOGICAL system in R/3 as well as in BW. We have also checked in sm59 for RFC tests and found to be successful in R/3 side as well as BW side. Bur when we tried to activate the R/3 source system in BW side,w e are getting the following errors. Please help urgently.
1.The following errors occured in source system - RSAR -374
2.Result of the destination check: Timed out - RSAR -375.

Prompt for a username/password while accessing a resource in wls 6.0

Hi all, I want to restrict access to any resource on my weblogic
server 6.0 and prompt for a user name and password before accessing
any resource. I did this using weblogicurl.policy file in wls 5.1.
I am not able to find out how to do this in 6.0. Can anyone help

WL 6.0 doesnot support URL based access control directly but you can read on

Invalid Username / Password while connecting to a Wi-Fi network

Hi,
I cannot connect to the wi-fi network from the Hotel. On the first day it worked perfectly, today it didn't.
It is not a secured (WPA) wifi but after the connection, need to open the browser to enter login and password.
I have a laptop that is connected to the same wi-fi and it is working.
Checked several times login and password, tried to forget network and the reconnect, tried to turn the cell off and then turn it on.
Any suggestions?

When you are connecting through a hotels WiFi like this they may occasionally require you to login via a home web page, this is quite normal. In many cases the password for this will be provided at checkin and with this being the case it would be worth speaking with the front desk to see if they can assist you with this.

Cannot Generate a Stub or Skeleton for a WSDL that Uses Certain Types (3912349)
JDeveloper 10.1.2 only understands a subset of all of the complexTypes that can be defined in a WSDL document. For example, if the following appear in the "types" section of the WSDL, any use of those types will cause JDeveloper to generate a reference to UnknownType in a stub or skeleton:
•     Restrictions of simpleTypes
•     complexTypes which define attributes Does that mean that the jdeveloper will not support complex types?Could anybody tell me how to resolve the above said issue? Is there any patch that i can run to resolve the issue?

Can i use the client generated using jdeveloper 11g to import into the oracle forms 10g, i.e., form builder 10g. Currently this is the version we have in our office.
