Unable to burn iTunes Store audio book track to CD - Track to long

I am unable to burn an audio book I purchased to CD because the track is to long, 2 hours and 8 minutes. I tried setting the start and stop times to be less than 1 hour, but I still get the message. How can I get the track burned to a set of CDs?

I found a work around.
1. Select the long track and using get info
2. Set the start and stop times and check the check boxes next to them.
3. Create a new play list of the selected track.
4. Burn a CD using the new playlist.

I have the same problem with my 3rd gen Apple TV. I can preview iTunes movies, stream from my Mac, Airplay from my other devices but I cannot rent a movie on iTunes. Every time I try I get "Can't connect to ITunes" and "Unable to sign in". Had technical support review the problem over the phone and they agreed to send me a new one. Same problem. Interestingly enough my 2nd gen Apple TV works just fine.

You cannot use the iTunes Store of any country other than one one in which you live and have a payment method. If the Sound Cloud app is no longer available in your country's iTunes Store, then that app will not be available to you. Contact the developer and ask if they have any plans to re-release it in your country; it may have been removed due to a problem or pending update and will be reinstated at some point.

    How to solve dis problem!!

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
If that doesn't solve it then what has worked for some people is going into Settings > General > Date & Time and changing the date to a few months (or maybe a year or two) in the future and then re-trying

I am unable to access itunes store. I had to reset my icloud password, and I don't know if that affected my itunes account. is there something going on with my account. how do i know if it has been compromised?

Has anyone ever noticed that iTunes are extremely slow at resolving problems?
I keep getting emails thanking me for my patience.
At the very least I would like to know a timeframe for resolution, or a reason for the delay.  Not hard really, it's basic customer service!

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in

    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • ITunes, CD audio book

When I load an audio-book CD into my computer it first asks me if I want it in iTunes. Fine, no chance to rename it from UNTITLED ARTIST, it just does it. I use the joining function to--well join the cuts and keep them in order, I thought. Then I load the second CD, same thing, good. Then, with no prompting from me, indeed I'm unable to stop it, the two UNTITLED ARTIST albums are intreleaved; in other words it plays thus: chapter 1 (from CD1), then chapter 1 (from CD2). Were I to load all six CDs I would get as playback all the first cuts from each CD, then all the second cuts before going on to chapter 2 from the first disc. This makes for a very strange way to listen to a story.

  • Burning iTunes Store songs to MP3 CD function removed?

iTunes won't let you burn your iTunes purchases to an MP3 CD anymore? I have done this in the past for most all of my library of iTunes store purchased songs and are backed as MP3 audio CD's in addition to my backup of the Mp4 files. I pack MP3's on CD's to load into my car cd bank. I can no longer take the music I've purchased to my my car as I've done in the past. I purchased music based on this ability (transfer to MP3 CD's) in the past instead of buying the CD.

To best of my recollection, it has never allowed this. iTunes onloy burns tracks to an MP3 CD that are already in MP3 format.
I can no longer take the music I've purchased to my my car
That depends where it is purchased from. The iTunes Store sells songs in AAC format, which iTunes cannot burn to an MP3 CD. Amazon.com (and most other online music download retailers) sell songs in MP3 format, which can be readily burned to MP3 CD.

  • Itunes 11, audio books, how to get a correct sorted display?

I have some audio books ripped from CDs. The title have a track number (of a certain CD) and have a CD number. Track 3 of 5, CD 2 of 6. Unfortunately in the audio book view the titles for an audio book are not sorted by CD and then by track number. First should be all tracks of CD 1 in order, then of CD 2, and so on. In list view the sort order is correct. But not in the new audio book view.
Is there a way to tell iTunes 11 to sort the titles of an audio book in the correct order?

I've got the same issue with all my 100% correct tagged multi-disc Audiobooks here.
With iTunes 11 it isn't possible to play this kind Audiobooks in correct order.

  • Unable to load itunes store on iphone 4S after updating to ios 7

After I updated my iphone 4S to ios 7, I am unable to load the itunes store on my phone.  It spins like it is loading and then stops, but the screen is blank.  Does anyone know what might cause this?

Are you talking about the Search screen? If so, it has been hung up for the last 24 hours....undoubtedly server related. I do not have IOS 7 yet, but it is doing the same thing on my iPhone....
I'm waiting until the weekend to try it again. No point in getting crazy over it.

  • Found a fix for this:  Unable to open Itunes Store on windows XP

    Hi,
I have been searching for this all weekend.  For the last month we have been unable to connect to Itunes store.  We can connect to the Internet and also access to itunes itself.  I have phoned Apple as well as our service provider.  No luck with the solutions offered.  I have uninstalled and downloaded it again.  I have done the winsock suggestion.  I have disabled the firewall solution.  I have gone into security settings and clicked enable the miscellaneous part.  I have run as administrator.  Basically everything from this forum and numerous others and also from advice from apple and my service provider.  NOTHING WORKED for me on this computer.  However on my Laptop which is vista the winsock fix did work.  Still didn't solve my desktop until I found another solution and tried.  Blow me down it worked.  2 days and hooray.....finally.  I found this on a Geek website called "geeks to go" and I have cut and pasted it from there.
    This is it.
Copy and paste the text in the code box below into Notepad.
    @Echo on
    pushd\windows\system32\drivers\etc
    attrib -h -s -r hosts  echo 127.0.0.1 localhost>HOSTS
    attrib +r +h +s hosts  popd  ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew  ipconfig /flushdns
    netsh winsock reset all
    netsh int ip reset all
    shutdown -r -t 1
    del %0
Save as flush.bat to your desktop.
Double-click flush.bat file to run it. Your computer will reboot.
Note: For Windows Vista or Windows 7, right-click flush.bat and select "Run as Administrator".
Hope this one helps anyone out there that has tried most of the other fixes.  No bugs or viruses from this...so far.
    Steve

You're probably going to need to install service pack 2 or 3.

  • Unable to load iTunes Store

Since the Apple support staff has proven themselves utterly incompetent, I was hoping I could find some help on the forums.
I am attempting to go to the iTunes store from the iTunes x64 Client (RC 10.5.1.42, the latest) on x64 Windows 7.  I am unable to because the page does not load, as if it times out.  No error messages are returned, and the client does not visibly change.  When I go to view my account in iTunes, it shows as a plain-text version of the site, looking like basic HTML and form buttons on a white background.
I have run through all the kb's I could find, and then succumbed to contacting customer support.  They then kindly told me to download the latest version of the software, which I had done three times already, including wiping my registry, temp, and app data of all Apple products/keys.  Then they told me to run through all the kb's, which again I already had, as they claim it's a connection issue on my end.  Clearly it's not, and I am attempting old versions of iTunes now just to verify this claim.

I am having the same issue and have spent close to 18 hours between Apple Support, my Security IT Department and Versizon FIOS trying to fix my problems.  All was well with my ITUNES account which I had previously synched with IPOD's and an IPAD2 until last week.  I tried to synch a new IPHONE 4S and have not been able to access my ITUNES store ever since.  I can access the store from my IPAD and IPhone but not from my Windows XP PC (or from 2 others).  I click on the IStore and my PC freezes at the same spot which is always the same spot about halfway along the ITUNES bar.  I've uninstalled and installed new two times.  I installed new for the very first time on a personal laptop and I have the very same issue.  One Apple support advisor claims its my PC Security Software causing the issue and another claims its my Verizon FIOS configuration,  neither of which had changed and worked perfectly until downloading 10.5.  I can't get to older software versions so would like to know where others are finding them.   I also have the same issue when accessing my account data which displays plain text without any HTML.  There are links but they do not work.  I have run all of the diagnostics and pass each time.  I am so frsutrated at this point I'm ready to return all of the Apple devices!  If you find a solution, please pass it along and thanks!

  • Unable to view iTunes Store purchase history

    Hi All,
I'm unable to view my iTunes Store      purchase history. When I try to do so from within iTunes itself I am taken to a seemingly blank store page, which seems to have no content according to VOiceOver, Apple's built-in screen reader. I've previously done this without a problem, so am rather annoyed.
Is there any alternate way of requesting a refund? Could I call and do so?
    THanks!

You can use the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support (generally unless there is a problem with an item e.g. app doesn't work as described, film doesn't play etc. then purchases are considered final) : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
