We are all just users like yourself, and cannot "fix" anything.What is the exact message you are getting? Are your credit cards in order?

  • Mainstage Was unable to complete the download world music loops

    Ok, so I have bought Mainstage 2.2 from the app Store, and have almost downloaded all the additional content.
    However, the only pack that will not complete it the World Music Apple Loops.
    I immediately get the message, Mainstage was unable to complete the download.
    There is no attempt to download this pack. 
    Any suggestions?  I don't really want to uninstall and download 20Gb again.

    More disk space than I can shake a stick at, very stable internet connection, speedtest shows ping <18ms etc.  The main reason for purchasing mainstage is for the loops and instruments, at £20 that's a bargain, but only if I can get the application to download the last package.
    Wireshark shows that the server is rejecting the request from MainStage as a HTTP/1.1 416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable.
    Looks like either a MainStage Application issue requesting the HTTP GET command or the Server not servicing that request.

    kindly advice for this error when create vm from a templates, while i'm not having this issue when create the vm to another host from the same templates,
    firewall is disabled and no antivirus on the host.
    The network and the ping is very stable, and the WS-Management service is running on the host,

    VMM updated from RU2 to RU5

    VMM is unable to complete the request. The connection to the VMM agent on the virtualization server (host.domain.local) was lost.

    Recommended Action
    Ensure that the Windows Remote Management (WS-Management) service and the VMM agent are installed and running and that a firewall is not blocking HTTPS traffic.
    This can also happen due to DNS issues. Try and see if the server (ms-lab-01.eccsolutions.local) is reachable over the network and can be looked up in DNS. You can ping the virtualization server from VMM management server and make sure that the
    IP address returned matches the IP address locally obtained from the virtualization server.
    If the error still persists, restart the virtualization server, and then try the operation again.

    Backup your VMM database and then check the
    tbl_VMM_Lock table in the
    VMM database to see if it has any locks listed, do this after stopping the System Center Virtual Machine Manager Service.
    If there are locks listed in the tbl_VMM_Lock
    table you can clear them by executing the prc_VMM_ReleaseAllLocks
    stored procedure.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
    How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • When trying to reformat my 5th gen Ipod classic, windows tells me that it is "unable to complete the format". Help?

    My Ipod started making the frowny face at me and telling me to go to support, I plugged it in to my PC and was told that the device needed to be reformatted. I attempted to do so, the quick format fails right away, and when I try to do a regular format, i get the same message after a longer wait; "windows is unable to complete the format". Has anyone encountered this before, any suggestions?

    Check your Hardisk, using Disk diagnostic, posted by tt2, it will tell you if your hardisk need to replaced
    There are some 3rd party hardisk repairs, which you can try.like EaseUS partiton.

    Open the PP project.
    Export your sequence or project as a Final Cut Pro XML file.
    Set up a new PP project.
    Import the Final Cut Pro XML file.
    This will get you back up an running.
    Since getting back to editing this project I have found that some things will be lost or change in using XML:
    You will lose position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, audio dynamic fx, the ability to open a multi camera clip and change the camera view.
    You will keep cut points, crop fx.
    Not perfect but only took a couple of hours to save 3 days work.

    We are getting the following error. This seems to be after installing the DPM 2010 client. Not sure if there is a connection.

  • Mac OS X 10.7 App Store: "Unable to complete your purchase"

    When I try to install an already purchased app, or a new app, I get the error message: "Unable to complete your purchase. Unknown Error".
    It doesn't matter which app, paid or unpaied. I've already reset my warnings through iTunes, signed out and in again, restarted, etc.
    Is there a way to reinstall or "clean" the "App Store" App?

    How to re download apps ...
    Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
    Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
    Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed  then click Install.
    Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

    If you still can't re download apps, try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
    Quit the App Store if it's open.
    Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
    Type this exactly as you see it here:
    ~/Library/Cahces/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
    Click Go
    Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
    Launch the App Store. Try downloading an app or reinstalling one.

    I am facing the error while starting the server. I see the following error.

    The WebLogic Server did not start up properly.

    If the port is already in use how to find which server is running on that port, how to find the process and kill it. I am using weblogic 8.1 sp4 in Solaris 8.

    It sounds like (as you already note) failed to shutdown WLS, that is why the
    .loc file was held and why the port is in use, WLS process was still
    running. To see why it failed to shut down, I would examine the
    weblogic.log, aslo the servers std out and err. Additionally taking a
    thread dump (if possible) on the "it wont shut down" wls java process should
    show (maybe unless the VM is hosed), where/what is hanging on/around. Do
    you happen to have native code running with wls, say a type 2 JDBC driver?
    Otherwise it sounds like a VM bug. But more data is needed to be sure.

    Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing with the in-app purchase for GarageBand.
    The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
    Double-click the Home button.
    Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
    Swipe the app up to close it.

    If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the GarageBand app, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
    Restarting your device
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
    Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
    Resetting your device
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    or something to that effect when attempting to upgrade Quicktime, since I am also unable to uninstall it from my computer. Errors are encountered there too. I can't open it, I can't uninstall it, and I can't upgrade it. HELP!!

    Same problem, but with iTunes 8.
    I was actually doing a remove and reinstall of iTunes to try to get my 3G iPhone to appear on iTunes when I wound up with this message "Installer encountered errors before itunes could be installed"
    I'm on a supercharged Alienware Aurora using XP-Pro.
    Here is how I fixed it:
    -Removed iTunes and QuickTime through the 'Control Panel' "Add or Remove Programs'
    -Shutdown my computer (the first time i tried this, i just did a restart, that didn't do it)
    -Got some coffee (probably unrelated to fix
    -Turned the computer on (promised her dinner and a chick flick, also probably unrelated to fix)
    -Opened Safari (it works great on my PC) and went to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
    -Downloaded QuickTime 7.5.5 (option I Used was 'QuickTime 7.5.5 with iTunes
    for Windows XP or Vista' (PROBABLY RELATED TO FIX, BEFORE TOTALLY REMOVING iTunes and
    Quicktime, I HAD JUST BEEN DOWNLOADING iTunes 8 FROM THE MAC SITE, IT NEVER DID WORK
    FOR ME)
    +*- And... IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*+
    I now have functional QuickTime 7.5.5 and iTunes 8
    NOW I CAN GET BACK TO MY EARLIER PROBLEM, IT STILL WILL NOT RECOGNIZE MY iPhone.
    All i get is "This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install iTunes again."
    NOT!!!!! Time to call for Tech Support.
