Unable to deploy a MySQL Data Store to WLS90

I'm using the WLS90 underlying the Aqualogic SB product. When I set up (via the WLS console) a MySQL DS everything goes fine (i.e. I can test the connection successfully). When I try to activate my changes I get a 'Cannot load driver class: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver' error on the console. I copied 'mysql-connector-java-3.1.10-bin.jar' to $DOMAINHOME/lib.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Gary

GaryHi. How do you start the WebLogic server? There is usually a startWebLogic script. I usually
add a line at the bottom, just before java is called:
setenv CLASSPATH $DOMAINHOME/mysql-connector-java-3.1.10-bin.jar:$CLASSPATH

  • AM 7.1 legacy, data store connection.

    Hi!
    I've installed Access Manager 7.1 in legacy mode, and I access it via the java api, using the full SDK.
    If I want to assign a user to a group, and the user and the group are assigned to different realms, I get the following error:
    Message:Unable to get attributes from data store.

    If the user and the group are in the same realm, there is no problem.
    The same problem occurs if I want to assign a user to a role, witch has different realm.
    Could you please provide me some hints on what may I do wrong?

    I'm still cannot pass through this problem.
    Please, give me some hint.

  • Connection to data store on host MYSQL failed

    We have observed multiple occurrence of below errors on the 6 App-V servers (default server group).
    <ServerName> 3796 9044 SW_ServerAuthenticationTask::Authorize - "Default Provider" <UserID> - 2 41472 "Module execution failed."
    <ServerName>nPool::Reconnect - "Default Provider" <UserID> - 2 41543 "Connection to  data store on host MYSQL failed.
    APPV Server details:
    APPV Server 4.5.3.19480
    The issue is been there for some time and we seen these error on the SFT-SERVER log now and then.Though the error is reported in the APP-V log but we have not seen any issue accessing any APPV application during the duration.
    Could someone suggest solution to resolve the issue.

    Do all your servers face this issue? They are load balanced I suppose?
    Check those servers if the App-V management Server service is running and that the firewall doesn't block anything. If that's not the case, try to give the machine account of those servers full control for Share/NTFS on the content-share.
    If that does not work, open a ticket with MS.

  • JPA with MySQL-Data-Source

    Hello Forum,
    I have a question regarding usage of a MySQL-Data-Source in combination with JPA
    on the SAP NetWeaver Application Server, Java ™ EE 5 Edition.
    I have setup a custom datasource like explained in paper:
    "Working with Database Tables, DataSources and JMS Resources"
    - registered the database driver via telnet (Using mysql-connector-java-5.0.3-bin.jar)
    - created the data-sources.xml file underneath the META-INF dir of the EAR project
    [code]
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE data-sources SYSTEM "data-sources.dtd" >
    <data-sources>
      <data-source>
        <data-source-name>titan_cruises_ds</data-source-name>
        <driver-name>mysql-connector-java-5.0.3-bin.jar</driver-name>
         <init-connections>1</init-connections>
         <max-connections>10</max-connections>
         <max-time-to-wait-connection>60</max-time-to-wait-connection>
         <expiration-control>
              <connection-lifetime>600</connection-lifetime>
              <run-cleanup-thread>60</run-cleanup-thread>
         </expiration-control>
         <sql-engine>native_sql</sql-engine>
        <jdbc-1.x>
          <driver-class-name>com.mysql.jdbc.Driver</driver-class-name>
          <url>jdbc:mysql://ourHost.internal.com:3306/practise_titan_cruises</url>
          <user-name>myUser</user-name>
          <password>myPass</password>
        </jdbc-1.x>
      </data-source>
    </data-sources>
    [/code]
    After that I manually created the persistence.xml underneath the META-INF dir of the EJB project.
    [code]
    <persistence xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence" version="1.0">
         <persistence-unit name="titan_cruises_pu">
              <jta-data-source>titan_cruises_ds</jta-data-source>
         </persistence-unit>
    </persistence>
    [/code]
    After that I created the Entity named "Cabin" and the corresponding table within the db.
    Entity code:
    [code]
    package de.collogia.beans.pojo.ship;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import java.io.Serializable;
    import javax.persistence.Column;
    import javax.persistence.Entity;
    import javax.persistence.GeneratedValue;
    import javax.persistence.Id;
    import javax.persistence.Table;
    This persisted POJO class models the cabin data.
    <p>
    In this class persistence annotations are placed on the getter methods
    of the attributes. This tells the persistence manager to access them
    via the corresponding get- and set-Methods.</p>
    (Unfortunately this does not work on NetWeaver and I had to place them
    on field level aggain...)

    Unfortunately I receive an Exception after invoking the createCabin(...) method.

    Here we strictly implemented the checks according to the requirements of the JPA specification. Technically, we could do with private constructors as well. But the JPA specifications requires the constructor to be protected to allow a JPA implementation to subclass entities if needed.
    > The entities in the project are final classes

    For the same reason, your entities should not be final. Are we missing a check here ?

    No, unfortunately, there is no comparable option in SAP JPA (yet). We understand that there is a need for forward mapping. We would have liked to delegate this task to the JPA design time (i.e. Dali). However, we had to discover that Dali does not perform this task properly and we can't recommend using it any more.
    Consequently, there is no automatic schema generation in SAP JPA 1.0.
    >

    With Hibernate Entity Manager, the id generation strategy in use with GenerationType.AUTO depends on the database dialect. This means that depending on the database dialect, IDENTITY columns, SEQUENCES or generator tables (TableHiLo) are required. As Hibernate has the before mentioned schema generation property this fact can be hidden to the user.
    In SAP JPA, we are always using a table generator if GenerationType.AUTO is used. This allows for better portability across databases. It requires the table TMP_SEQUENCE. As we unfortunately do not have a schema generation capability, the user must create this table.
    Best regards,
    Adrian

    Hello Jun,
    I'm trying to deploying the ear in nwds 7.3 which was successfully migrated from nwds 7.0
    Please let me know if you need any details.

  • "unable to connect to the data access service" installing report server

    Trying to do a 2 server SCOM 2012 R2 install on Server 2012 w/SQL 2012.  Management server and operations console on one, and SQL, web console, and reporting server on the other.  When I get to the web console and reporting server install, and
    the "Specify Management Server" screen, I input the 1st management server name and it gives me a red X with the message:
    "Unable to connect to the Data Access service for this management server. Ensure the Data Access service is running and that the service, the management group, and setup are all the same version."
    Here is the setup log error:
    "Info: :Could not connect to Management Server: scom-app with exception: Threw Exception.Type: System.ArgumentException, Exception Error Code: 0x80070057, Exception.Message: Version string portion was too short or
    too long."
    I don't see the "Data Access" service in services on either server.  I followed all of the setup prereqs in SCOM 2012 unleashed book, and also referenced this article for setup advice:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2013/01/16/opsmgr-2012-sp1-quickstart-deployment-guide.aspx
    Everything seems to be working until I get to this point.
    Thank you for any help you can provide,
    Dan

    Hi Tom,
    1. Did the setup complete successfully on the MS and Console server?
    >>>Yes, without issue
    2. You do not see the service "System Center Data Access Service"
    >>>I do indeed see it on the MS and Console server, it is set to Auto and running.  (I also tried rebooting this server and retried, no help)
    3. Is the Windows Firewall enabled?
    >>>It has symantec endpoint protection.  I disabled symantec completely on both servers and retried, no help.
    Thx,
    Dan

    Ready message received from Oc4jNotifier.
    Embedded OC4J startup time: 29125 ms.

    I did what Manu suggested with no success. Alternatively, I registered the driver jar with embedded OC4J preferences > global > libraries. Still does not work. Please, note, that when I run JUnit tests against my BC4J application modules with JDBC URL as connection type, everything works just fine. The problem comes while running the JSF application when the application module is using JDBC DataSource as connection type.

    how can I take minutes from mysql date format??

  • Unable to update apps in app  store after installing 8.1.3

    I have been unable to update apps in app  store after installing 8.1.3
    Is anyone else having this problem?

    Yes, on iPhone, but ok on iPad. It says I have 12 Updates, but doesn't say what they are. I sync'd with iTunes on the Mac and everything is up to date there. I think if there are no Updates in iTunes, then you are up to date. It may be an issue with Notifications. I'm turning Alerts off in iPhones Notifications settings for now so I don't have to look at the number. Welp, now it says 11 Updates.

  • How to determine what's using data store temp space?

    How can one determine what's using data store temp space? We are interested to know what structures are occupying space in temp space and if possible what pid/process connected to TimesTen created them.
    Also, is there a procedure that will work if temp space is full?
    Recently one of our data stores ran of space. We we're unable to run commands like "monitor", "select * from monitor", "select count(*) from my_application_table", etc. These commands failed because they required temp space to run and temp space was full. We killed the application processes, this in turned freed up temp space, then we were able to run these queries.
    Ideally, we'd like to have a procedure to figure out what's using temp space when temp space is full.
    The other thing we could do is periodically monitor temp space prior to it filling to determine what's using temp space.

    That was my original thought, but once you click the slider track or thumb, and then enter a value in the text control, the clickTarget on the change event envoked by the change to the bound data (after entering a value in the text control) will be whatever slider element had last been clicked. If you've never clicked the slider, clickTarget=null. But once you've clicked the slider the clickTarget always has a value of "thumb" or "track", regardless of what triggered the change event.

  • Windows ... preventing activation, 0xc004d302, trusted data store ... rearmed

    Dear all
    We're using a Windows Server 2012 R2 (DC of a Domain) and WDS (Windows Deployment Services) to deploy a Windows 8.1 edition with a MAK (Multiple activation key).
    Deployment works by PXE booting and deploying the original install.wim (from the .iso) from the WDS Server.
    If we try to activate the deployed Windows on the client PC we experience the following:
    1. Activation in the GUI ends with error "Windows has detected a change to the system files that is preventing activation."
    2. Command line, slmgr /dli ends with "Error: 0xc004d302 on a Computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run slui.exe 0x2a 0xc004d302 to display the error text"
    3. Command line slui.exe 0x2a 0xc004d302 ends with the error "The security processor has reported that the trusted data store was rearmed.
    Hence we cannot activate Windows.
    Our Windows copy and our licenses (MAK key) were purchased thru official channels.
    We urgently need this to work.
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Dominique, Zurich, Switzerland.

    Hello,
    Are we running slmgr /rearm?  You may see this error if slmgr /rearm was run and the machine was not rebooted after that and then activation queries or attempts were made.
    Also check the permissions on the \Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys
    cacls %systemdrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys
    post the results.
