  • Unable to deploy custom adapter module in PI 7.31

    Hi pros,
I created a custom adapter module to split some complex input files to multiple messages. We use a SAP PO 7.31 java-only installation. I followed this document to create my adapter module:
How to Create Modules for the JEE Adapter Engine
I know it is for PI 7.1 but a colleague of mine said that he was able to create a running adapter module for PI 7.3 following the guide. I created the following projects:
EAR project references the EJB project:
    Project facet of the EJBproject:
    ejb-jar.xml config:
    application-j2ee-engine.xml (in EAR project):
When I try to deploy my module, I get the following error:
    Java version:
    NWDS version:
Any hint is appreciated! What can be wrong? What can I check again?
    THANKS!

I am not sure if the version is the problem. We have PI 7.31, support package 14, patch level 0 and NWDS 7.31 support package 12, patch level 4. The version of NWDS is lower than the version of the PI. According to Note 1599298 the error occurs when the NWDS is higher than the one of PI. Besides, we are able to deploy BPMN processes with the same NWDS to the same server.
This is the exact exception trace shown in NWDS:

  • JMS Adapter - SOA Suite 11g

    Hi,
We are facing a weird issue while configuring JMS adapter for a queue sits on a remote Weblogic JMS Server.
    - Configured adapter in a BPEL process and provided JNDI name 'eis/wls/Queue'
    - Configured outbound connection pool with remote server url/user id/pass
    - added the same jndi name properties in soa/connectors/JMSadapter.rar/weblogic-ra.xml
When we test the service, the following error is thrown:
java.lang.Exception: oracle.sysman.emSDK.webservices.wsdlapi.SoapTestException: Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'Produce_Message' failed due to: JCA Binding Component connection issue. Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via .jca binding file element <connection-factory/> The JCA Binding Component is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the <connection-factory/> element: location='eis/wls/Queue'. The reason for this is most likely that either 1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or 2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/wls/Queue. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR). Please correct this and then restart the Application Server ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution.
    Please help...

  • JMS adapter error in MQSeries connection

    Dear All,
i am getting the below error in Communicatin Channel Monitoring for my sender JMS adapter:
Error during channel initialization; exception trace: javax.jms.JMSException: MQJMS2005: failed to create MQQueueManager for '<IP_ADRESS>:<MQ_QUEUE_MANAGER>'

i have written '<IP_ADRESS>:<MQ_QUEUE_MANAGER>' just to hide the data - i am getting <IP_ADRESS> as IP Adress i gave in JMS adapter and <MQ_QUEUE_MANAGER> as Queue Manager i gave in JMS adapter.
i am using the correct IP and 1414 port of MQSeries server. I have used a MQQueueManager defined in MQSeries. i have deployed JMS adapter properly in XI server.
So can anybody suggest what could be the possible reason of this error and how to rectify it. It is slightly urgent.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Unable to get BPEL composite with JMS Adapter running.

    Hello All,
I have tried to build a BPEL Composite to use JMS Adapter, by following the link http://blogs.sun.com/malkit/entry/oracle_soa_suite_bpel_to
    Steps in WebLogic console:
    1. Created a new JMS Server JMSServer-0 (file persistent store) this is targeted to AdminServer
    1. Created a new JMS Module SystemModule-0
    3. Created a connection factory in this module JNDI jms/SendRecvConnectionFactory
    4. Created a queue in this module JNDI jms/ReceiveQueue
    5. Created a SubDeployment Subdeployment0 for these two components.
    6. Created a new JMSAdapter connection pool JNDI eis/tst/TestJMSConn and set the ConnectionFactoryLocation property to jms/SendRecvConnectionFactory
Next, I created a simple Java client and tested the JMS Queue to work fine. This went well.
Next, used JDeveloper to create a BPEL Composite to use JMSAdapater, and followed the guidelines given in the above URL to create the JCA file.
While deploying this BPEL composite, I hit a warning in SOA diagnostic server:
JMSAdapter JMSSampleProj JmsDDEndpoint_onFailure: Unable to resolve 'jms.ReceiveQueue'
As a result of this warning, the BPEL Composite instances do not get created when I send a message from the test client.
Please find herewith the log details.
    I am using JDeveloper Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.4.0_GENERIC_101227.1736.5923 and FMW 11g R1 PS3 RC11.
    Any help here?

    Hi,
Try targetting it to soa_server1 instead of admin server.

  • Accessing JMS UDD deployed on OSB cluster from a composite JMS adapter deployed on soa cluster

    Our environment setup
    Single domain with three clusters
    osb_cluster.soa_cluster and   bam_cluster
    osb_cluster: osb_server1 and osb_server2
    wlsbJMSServer_auto_1: targetted to osb_server1
    wlsbJMSServer_auto_2: targetted to osb_server2
    osb_subdeployment1:targetted to wlsbJMSServer_auto_1 and wlsbJMSServer_auto_2 JMS servers
osb_subdeployment1 has JMS UDD queue jms/wlsb/queue
    soa_cluster: soa_server1 and soa_server2
There is a BPEL composite deployed to soa_cluster. It has JMS adapter trying to read messages from jms/wlsb/queue
JCA JMSAdapter is deployed to osb,soa clusters and Admin server
ConnectionFactory is targetted to soa and osb clusters (osb_cluster and soa_cluster)
We have bounced soa and osb  servers(not admin) after jms changes.
    soa log says
JMSAdapter Composite1l JmsDDEndpoint_onFailure: Unable to resolve 'jms.wlsb.queue. Resolved 'jms'
Can we access JMS destinations deployed  on one cluster from different cluster?
If yes, how can we do that ? do we need  to modify BPEL JCA file to indicate destination is on another cluster?
    Thanks,
    Praveen

    Anybody has faced similar issue?

  • Unable to select jms destination in the jms adapter configuration

    hi,
I am trying to use JMS queues for consuming messages but after creating the JMS queues(destination) in the application server, i am unable to find the destination while configuring the jms adapter in jdeveloper.
    any help would be appreciated

i am using soa 10g. are you saying there is an option for starting the jms server in the application sever or do i have to create a seprate jms erver for creating the jms server etc.
it will be really helpful if you can explain the how to create/start jms server, jms queue etc or provide link to any article that is available. also please note that i am using SOA 10g
    thanks in advance

  • JMS Adapter: Unable to parse the scema error in step 7

    Hi
I get unable to parse the schema error in step 7 of JMS Adapter partner link definition (in Type Chooser window). I am using RosettaNet 3b2 Schema converted from DTD by Tibco tools.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

forwarded to the JMS adapter team. It would be nice if you could provide more context around the input you provided in the first 6 step (could you please post the schema or if there are a set of them, zip them up, rename the file .zap and email to collaxa_support_us at oracle.com). Thank you. -Edwin

  • Anyone successfully deployed BPEL + JMS Adapter (for MQ) to WebSphere?

Anyone successfully deployed BPEL Process Manager + JMS Adapter (for MQ) to WebSphere (i.e not OAS/OC4J)?
If you have - I would love to see a valid example of the ra.xml and oc4j-ra.xml files in your jca/JmsAdapter.rar file - to see how you configured access for the JMS Adapter to your remote MQ queues.
    Thank you
    Dennis

    Hi Garima,
    Please check the following:
    1. Add dhbcore.jar also to aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda and deploy it.
    2. Check the existence of your JMS drivers.
    3. Check the following link and Install the drivers as the way it is mentioned in the guide 'How To Install And Configure External Drivers For JDBC & JMS'
    https://websmp204.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01200252310000071155&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202

  • PI 7.11 JMS adapter using JNDI weblogic server issue

    Hi SAP experts,
I have a scenario to integrate to a application using JMS adapters. we use SAP PI 7.11 version.
We have deployed JMS drivers successfully and We face issue here to connect to weblogic server
We are using JMS adapter using JNDI to connect to weblogic server version 10.3.
Can anyone help with the exact format to be used in JMS properties table and additional parameters table in JMS communication channel. Your quick help will be appreciated.
A channel error occurred. The detailed error (if any) : com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.api.connector.ConnectorException: Error looking up destination: AccrualDetailsQueue for profile:  ConnectionProfile of channel: CC_SND_JMS on node: 3010950 having object id: 673696a9fe8c39fdab32213f0930afb3: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Unable to resolve 'AccrualDetailsQueue'. Hi Padmini,
    Refer to the following link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/24/4cad3baabd4737bab64d0201bc0c6c/content.htm
It was very helpful to me, for configuring the additional parameters in the communication Channel JMS.
I leave you some screenshots of the settings that I did.
I seize the opportunity to ask you, where do I can get the drivers (.Jar) for Weblogic?
    Regards.
    Rodrigo.

  • Error in JMS adapter 11g

    Hi
I have configured a JMS Adapter in Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 to consume message from a queue(JNDI Name as eis/wljms/WLQueue) on a weblogic server(10.3.1) in a different domain and deployed my BPM process to the soa server 11g.
I created a new outbound connection pool (eis/wljms/WLQueue) in Deployments->JMSAdapter->Configuration->Outbound Connection Pools with Connection Pool Interface: oracle.tip.adapter.jms.IJmsConnectionFactory
Also updated the factory properties field for eis/wljms/WLQueue with :
    java.naming.factory.initial=weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory;java.naming.provider.url=t3://10.75.85.151:9021;java.naming.security.principal=weblogic;java.naming.security.credentials=weblogic
And finally updated the deployment plan for JMSAdapter.
However I am getting the following error :

  • PI7.1 JMS Adapter - connect to NW6.40

    Hello,
We are facing following problem on SAP PI:
We have a scenario where PI (version 7.1) is connecting to another SAP NetWeaver system (version 6.40).  There is an application that reads/puts messages from/to JMS Queues running on this system. PI has to connect the JMS Provider of 6.40 system and read/put these messages from/to these JMS Queues.
This scenario worked fine till we used XI 3.0 (NW6.40). We configured sender JMS channel with link to remote JMS Server and parameter "force_remote".
After installation of new PI7.1 we noticed some issues:
1.the connection is unstable. Sending JMS messages from PI to NW6.40 queue works a while but then we get error like this:
Adapter Framework caught exception: Unable to write new JMS message body for message: 00237d29-13fc-02ed-ba85-01d046631592: ConnectorException: Connector for ConnectionProfile of channel: EON_CC_jms_rcv_omsmessageon node: 922834950 having object id: 70855b1c6c483e869982ea2fe9787b36 was unable to create a new javax.jms.TextMessage message: javax.jms.IllegalStateException: Session is closed.
    2. we cannot read messages from JMS Queue of NW6.40 at all. The messages are there in queue, communication channel is running and succesfully connected to queue but no message is processed and no error shows in communication channel monitoring.
Has anybody solve similar problem with connection between 7.1 and 6.40 NetWeaver?
I think the problem can be backward incompatibility of 7.1 SAP JMS libraries against 6.40. If this is true then the question is whether it is possible to deploy old libraries and run them simultaneously with native 7.1 libraries?
    Thanks

problem sorted - factory property settings were not configured correctly in JMS Adapter connection pool
