Unable to find abstract layer object definition

Hi,
I am using SoapUI 3.6.1.
When I send a request "getAttribute" along with all the optional parameters, specifying the Username and password in the Request Properties window, I am getting following error.
<ns1:VdxServiceException xmlns="http://www.novell.com/vdx/service" xmlns:ns1="http://www.novell.com/vdx/service">

In case of "getAttributes" request, an error is thrown.

Please suggest steps how can one get attributes of a user using SoapUI.

Sorry, I can't help you.
It's been too long since I have used SoapUI.
What is "getAttribute"?
It is not a SOAP request.
I also do know what "www.novell.com/vdx/service" is.

  • "System: Unable to find the specified object" on N...

When I go to Control panel->Messaging->Text message" I get the error:- "System: Unable to find the specified object".
I also can no longer send text messages. Every time I try to send a text message, it asks for the "Centre number" which presumably is the SMS service centre number, but even if I type this in I get an error "Error: Not found".
I'm sure these 2 issues are related but I'm not sure.
Please, can someone tell me how to fix this.
    Thanks.

    Hi
I have the same problem except for that mine is with my nokia 9500. Did you manage to fix your problem? I started getting the same message after I have deleted certain temporary files. I then, also noticed that I do not have access to the internet and the only available option reflected was W*EasyLan
Please assist if you have managed to fix your problem or can anybody out there assist me PLEASE. Thankx

  • System: unable to find the specified object.

I am trying to install tomtom 5 for mobile on my 9300i. Installation is fine but when I try to launch the application it gives the following error.
system: unable to find the specified object.
I am not able to find any work around this. Any idea please share.
    thanks in advance

    Hi
I have managed to get TOMTOM mobile 5 working on my Nokia 9300i.
I think its just that the TOMTOM software was writen before the 9300i was released so it does not know whether the 9300i is series 60/80 or 90.
So change the file extension names of the file system/apps/ttmobile/ttmobile.app to ttmobile.appx
If your doing this in the phones file manager you may not be able to see the system directory so press the menu key when viewing the memory card directories in the memory card in file manager, then change the view seetings under the tool pull down menu.
Then once changing the S60 file extension name go into the system/apps/ttmobile80/ttmobile.appx to ttmobile.app
This will mean that this file shortcut will now appear on your desktop for Series 80 and not the series 60 version.
You will need to do the same for the Contacts program.
    Change system/apps/TTnavcontacts/ttnavcontacts.app to ttnavcontacts.appx
    Change system/apps/TTnav80/ttnav80.appx to ttnav80.app
Hope this helps this is the first time I have replied to a discussion page so don't expect any rapid response if you ask me a question..

  • Unable to find selection field "object type" in IP19

    Hi there,
Is there any way to add the equipment "Object Type" into standard report IP19 as i couldn't find the selection field in the report.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards.

    Calyn Kua,
    Here's a work-around:
Go to IP19 and press Multiple Selection button on the Equipment field
In the next popup select the Multiple Selection button again
Select the search-help for Equipment by equipment list
In the next selection screen enter your data including the Technical obj type data and execute the report
Select the equipment in the list as required and select the lower green tick. This should return your equipment numbers back into the IP19 equipment field
Choose the With object list checkbox if required
    Execute the IP19 report
Alternatively you can copy the IP19 report and add your own customer-specific fields/logic.

  • Unable to find Right Indent when definition contains decimal number

    Dear all,
I recieved a very long text from Microsoft Word, all set to "Normal" style. How annoying...
Anyway, some of the paragraphs are set with Right Indent that it's size is 15.011 mm. To my knowledge, Indesign shows up to 3 numbers afer the period even if there is more.
The problem is that when I perfome search for this size (15.011 mm)  it could not find anything and I think it's because of the hidden decimal numbers, but i'm not sure.
    Any solution will be great
    Shlomit

It's probably a rounding problem. I'd try to get the exact measurement directly from the Word file and enter that in the ID dialog, including the units. If that doesn't work, I know I saw a similar question here, but it was more than a year ago, so a google search would be in order.

  • BC: Unable to find referenced object

    Hi OTN,
while working on my ADF BC application I oftenly see a following message at JDev start:
Business Components: Unable to find referenced object
         Object=...
Owner=...I usally check those business components and can't see any malfunction in their definition.
Yesterday I encountered strange behaviour while inserting new rows in linked view objects. It seemed that there was no entity association (key cascade update didn't work) and new row in linked VO wasn't commited at all.
Today at JDev startup I see two messages with "Unable to find referenced object" and "Owner" in the messages is pointing to ViewLink based on the strangely-working association. "Objects" in the messages are pointing to attributes on which association is built.
What does this message mean and could this issue be concerned to framework unexpected behavior while inserting new rows?
Business Components comes from compiled jar library.
    Thanks.
    Jdev 11.1.1.3

its a good practice in my opinion to close your project before shutting down the JDEV so next time when you open you will not able to see strange behaviors.

Or when the ones being injected are passivated?

I guess this occurs when the stateful session TstreamUserSession is reactivated?
Or when the ones being injected are passivated?
Any idea why this occurs, or how to suppress it, because it really spams our logs...
    Thanks.

  • Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service

    Dear all
I have a very simple composite applicationexposing a web service. When I deploy the application I get:
There was an error deploying the composite on soa_server1: Deployment Failed: Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service {http://soa/sf/login}bpelprocess1_client_ep and port loginPort_pt. Please make sure that the port attribute for the binding defined in the composite file is correct by checking the namespace, service name, and port name. In addition, check that the WSDL associated with the binding namespace is imported and currently reachable (check the import nodes at the top of the composite file). Finally, validate the HTTP proxy settings for the server.
However the build process shows no errors. The entire application was built using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5 using a pre-constructed WSDL. The SOA suite is 11.1.1.5
Any pointers will be really appreciated.
    Thanks
    The composite is this:

I was also getting same error, which is solved now.
For reference following is what we need to check.

    - You have made entries in "dimension_values.csv" but dimension is not specified in "schema.csv"
