Hi Bro
I'm assuming you've configured your ACS correctly and the Cisco network devices correctly. Perhaps, this could be a bug. The reason I say this is because last week, I was implementing 2 units of Cisco ACS 1121 v5.3 (in HA mode) for a client, and i had similar issues myself. When I down the primary ACS, I'm unable to login to my network devices, eventhough my secondary ACS is UP and PINGable from all network devices.
Hence, I downloaded and applied the latest cummulative patch from the CCO website 5-3-0-40-4.tar.gpg (Release Date: 27/May/2012) and my problem solved.
Perhaps, your ACS version isn't 5.3, but the morale of the story here is, maybe patching is required for your case!!
Please do let me know the outcome. May the force be with you, bro!

  • How to configure Ip address if unable to login error is occur through Hyper

I am a new user of sun Solaris 10 . In my sun fire v490 server every thing is configured fine there is no fault in booting .But when I configured the file /etc/inet/hosts in solaris 10 and missed to configure the file /etc/inet/netmask and /etc/inet/ipnodes, due to which server is not allow me to login there is an error occur " unable to login" . Now what is the other way to login into server console. I am entering in the console using normal mode, should I try to login in using diagnostic mode., or is there any other way to login into and modify the file. I also need training videos of solaris configuration .
Help in this regard will be highly appreciable.

you should try to boot in single mode
    1) start server, when boot process begins (after memory checks), do a STOP + A on the Sun keyboard. you should be on prompt "Ok" (OBP)
    2) on Ok prompt, type : "boot -s"
    and tell us what happened.

  • Switch protection to Secondary DPM if Primary DPM fails

    Hello,
I have one Primary DPM 2012 R2 server and one Secondary DPM 2012 R2 server.  I have not found a step by step guide to switch protection over to the Secondary DPM in an event when the Primary Server is not available
    (gone belly up).
Looking for instructions on how to "Switch Disaster Protection" of all Protected computers  at once from Primary to the Secondary and how to revert back to Primary when the Primary is again available.  Thank you.

Have you had any luck with this yet?
    I've found the following:

  • Register Secondary ACS with Primary ACS 5.4 patch 6 and getting error

    Scenario #1:
prodacs1 and prodacs2 version 5.4 patch 6 with IP address of 10.1.1.1/24 and 10.1.1.2/24, respectively.
Both prodacs1 and prodacs2 are running on VMWare ESXi 5.1.  Both are sync'ed with Active Directory
and authenticate users to manage Cisco routers and switches without any issues.  prodacs1 is the Primary
and prodacs2 is the Secondary.  BOTH prodacs1 and prodacs2 USE THE SAME LICENSE.  Both prodacs1 and
prodacs2 are resolved in DNS for both forward and reverse lookup.  In this production environment, everything is working as expected.
Scenario #2:  NEW deployment in the lab
labdacs1 and labacs2 version 5.4 patch 6 with IP address of 192.168.1.1/24 and 192.168.1.2/24, respectively.
Both labacs1 and labacs2 are running on VMWare ESXi 5.1.  Both are sync'ed with Active Directory.  BOTH
labacs1 and labacs2 USE THE SAME LICENSE as scenario #1.  Both labacs1 and labacs2 are resolved in DNS for both
    forward and reverse lookup.
However, when I tried to add labacs2 into labacs1 so that labacs2 is the secondary and labacs1 to be the
primary.  From labacs2 interface: System Administration >Operations >Local Operations >Deployment Operations,
I enter the hostname/IP address, username/password of labacs1, then I click on "Register with Primary", I get
    this message:
This System Failure occurred:  server cannot be added to the deployment.
Server has same License ID as server labacs1 that already exists in the deployment.
Your changes have not been saved.Click OK to return to the list page.
Why is not working?  Furthermore, why is it working in one environment but not the other with the same
idetical ACS version & patch.  Work in production environment but not other.
Anyone has run into this before?  how do you fix this?

What type of license are you using in first deployment?
There are 2 type of licenses
Base license - Install a unique base license for each of the ACS secondary servers in the deployment.
Large Deployment add-on license - It allows a deployment to support more than 500 network devices. Only one Large Deployment license is required per deployment, as it is shared by all instances
Please check what type of license are you running in your deployment.
In order to fix issue in your 2nd deployment you need reset-application config on your secondary, install the new unique base license (based on show udi) and register it to primary node to get the configuration replicated.

  • Secondary DNS failing to redirect clients when Primary DNS goes down

I have a single domain with two Windows 2008 servers, DC1 (physical) and DC2 (virtual).  Both servers run DNS and are GC servers, and the entire domain is on the same subnet (192.168.0.x).
All clients on the network are configured to use DC1 as primary DNS, DC2 as secondary DNS.
DHCP is enabled only on DC1.  (This might be part of the issue, not sure).
The problem is that when DC1 goes down for a reboot or repair, we lose access to the internet from our clients.  Trying to pull up any website results in a "Page cannot be displayed" error.  DC2 is available during this time and can be
pinged from any client but does not resolve DNS requests, even if I specify it as the primary DNS server on one of my workstations.  However I can log on to DC2 locally and browse the web.
Here are the results of a DCdiag /dnsall from DC2 (I bolded areas of concern):

Looks like it may be trying to forward to a machine that's down (DC1 and another 192.168.0.7) and root hints aren't available.
    Check out this article:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff807391(v=ws.10).aspx
See if you can enable DNS access through the firewall to the Internet if it's not already available.  Try to match whatever forwarder settings are on DC1, or remove them entirely and let the server resolve DNS from Internet root servers.  Alternativly,
you could change your forwarder to a public DNS server you have access to, your ISP should supply this or you could test with something common like 4.2.2.2.

  • Booting form secondary BE when primary BE fails

    Hello,
I have used separate disks to configure primary and secondary BEs on
    HP ML370 G5
I want to simulate a scenario where the primary BE and active disk fails.
What are the possible ways to activate and boot from Secondary BE disk?
    Thanks and Regards
    asutosh

An easy way is to drop to ok prompt and issue a boot command referencing your secondary (mirror?) boot disk. You may want to consider setting up an alias for it whilst you are there, if one has not already been made.
A 'bad' way to do it is to 'pull the plug' on your primary disk ... ;)

  • EA6300 - Unable to login locally - "Password incorrect"

I had a problem when I knew my password for sure but was unable to login locally to router. It was kept saying that passowrd is incorrect, try again. I tried to log using http and Google Chrome, since it was working fine when I initially setup it, year ago. I thought my router was hacked so I did hardware reset but this didn't help, I was still unable to log with "admin" password.
The root cause of problem is a browser, when I get FireFox, everything started to work fine again. I was able to get into Admin web-console and re-setup router again. Just for records -- MSIE is also not supported browser.
I have resolved issue, and writing this just because this might be useful for someone else.

PC 3rd Party Security Software Configurations
Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on the PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
Turn off all devices accept for one wired LAN PC while testing.
Disable any downloading client software managers, i.e. Torrents or similar.
    PC Web Browser Configurations
MSIE is supported on this router. If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
    Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the Admin account on the router.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
    Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
    Enable phishing and malware protection

  • Unable to login to update the photoshop or the illustrator through the Creative cloud dock in Mac

I am unable to login in the Creative cloud dock in Mac but am able to login in their website with the same ID and password. Everytime i try to update, it asks for authentication but is not accepting the details.
I tried to contact support through chat, but they never seem to be available.

Sunilbabuvk I believe you are being prompted to enter your administrator password.  You can find details regarding the installation process at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.  If it is asking for your administrator credentials then you will want to enter the same information you use to log into your computer.

Hi, I have a similar problem. When I try to log in all I get is a light greyish screen. absolutely nothing else, I wish now that I had not loaded Yosimite. I have tried to Safe Start - to no avail. it is very frustrating and I think apple should not use this technology until it is properly set up. However that does not solve my problem. Can anyone assist me ASAP. Thankyou John  L

    Looking for positive response.
    Thanks & REgards,

You said it was: "There were two triggers with names on_logon and ON_LOGON"
That clearly implies two triggers of the same name (one being case sensitive, the other not) within the same schema. Nothing to do with being created by different users.
    e.g.
    SQL> select table_name from user_tables where upper(table_name) = 'T';
    no rows selected
    SQL> create table t (x number);
    Table created.
    SQL> select table_name from user_tables where upper(table_name) = 'T';
    TABLE_NAME
    T
    SQL> create table "t" (x number);
    Table created.
    SQL> select table_name from user_tables where upper(table_name) = 'T';
    TABLE_NAME
    T
    t
SQL>Two tables "t" and "T" created by the same user.

  • Cisco Network Assistant, unable to add a switch

I have a network running some 20 switches, two controllers and many AP's.  All the devices that should be able to connect to cisco network assistant can successfully.  However there is one switch that will show in neighbours but will give the message of “unable to connect to device” when I try and add it to the topology.
As far as I can see the config is identically to all other similar switches in the network.  I can telnet from a switch (management VLAN) to the switch in question.  However when I try to ping or telnet from the PC running network assistant (different subnet) I am unsuccessful.  However I can ping/telnet to all other cisco device from this PC.
The switch is a WS-C3560-48TS and I have included the config for firstly the switch in question and another switch of the same model and config that works correctly.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

The switch configurations look pretty straightforward and mostly correct.
I notice that the problem switch has "ip routing" global command. Why is that necessary? You are only using it as a L2 switch, yes?  If you use "ip routing" and have no routing process (ospf, eigrp, etc.) running you would need to add a static default route (ip route 0.0.0.0 etc.) and not use the "ip default-gateway" command. Otherwise the switch itself (the SVI) does not know how to leave the management VLAN routing-wise since it is the only L3 interface defined.
(I might also add "ip http authentication local" on each and I'd definitely disable telnet in favor of ssh)

  • Unable to login in to Mac App Store using valid account.

I recently inherited a spare MacBook Air from my wife (who got a new one). I deleted her user account, and set up a new admin user account for me. The machine is running 10.7.5.
Now, I am absolutely unable to login to the App Store. I am using my valid Apple ID -- for example, the same Apple ID that I used to gain access to this very forum. System Preferences accepts my ID. iTunes accepts my ID. BUT the App Store will aboslutely NOT respond. It will not load. I get the red "connection failed" alert, and then after several tries it doesn't respond at all.
It doesn't give any option to switch users -- perhaps once the original owner has used the App Store, the computer will never again allow anyone else to use it? It doesn't say that there is another user logged in. There appears to be no way of deleting and reinastalling the App Store. There is no cache file I can find to be cleared. There is no preference option. There is no information. There appears to be no way of fixing this at all, short of wiping the hard drive and reinstalling the operating system. Is that what I have to do? WHY IS THIS SO HORRIBLY DESIGNED? And why is there no support short of the forum? I hate this about Apple (despite being a long-time Apple evangelist and OSX devotee).
    Thanks.

The first thing you should do after acquiring a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. How you do that depends on the model. Look it up on this page to see what version was originally installed.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard installation disc, which you can get from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. I suggest you install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the gray installation discs that came with it. If you don't have the discs, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
To boot from an optical disc, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, it should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
Once booted from the disc or in Internet Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive, which is what you should do.
After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
You should then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. If you want to upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, buy it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Apple customer service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.

  • Unable to login with Jabber Windows

    Hi ,
Am unable to login the Jabber Windows Client. Getting the error as "Unable to Communicate With the Server".
Able to login with CUPS & CUCM end user page. CUCM Integrated with LDAP.
While going through the UP Profile logs seen that "Failed to SOAP login".
Tried with restart of CUCM & CUPS several times but no go.
    CUCM Version - 8.6.2
    CUPS Version - 8.6.1
Tried with CUPC client result also same.
    Thanks in Advance

If credentials work on CCMuser CUPSuser I would suspect either some kind of communication problem between the clients and the servers and/or misconfiguration (user/device/line association, device owner, roles, CTI/CCMCIP profiles, etc) on CUCM/CUPS.
Specially because you mention the same happens with CUPC.
