Unable to look up bean

Hi,
My action class (on the webserver) is unable to look up the bean (on app server - Weblogic) msg is name not found.
However the same action class is able to look up the session bean on NT and not on unix, can anyone hlep as to why this hsould be so?
Regards

Probably there is something different about the configurations on the two systems (and not the fact they are running on different operating systems).

  • [Solved] Pacman unable to look up keys remotely

My [testing] install has been running pacman 4 ever since Allan put a provisional package up for testing (outside the [testing] repo). The key verification worked okay.
However, I am not able to upgrade any more packages it seems, due to pacman being unable to look up the keys online. I don't know if the gnupg 2 move has anything to do with it. I already tried changing the key server in /etc/pacman.d/gnupg/gpg.conf from the default one to the MIT one (which seems to be a lot more responsive). That doesn't help any.
This is what pacman spits out:
error: libnfs: key "DB323392796CA067" is unknown
error: key "DB323392796CA067" could not be looked up remotely

error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature))
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
Curiously, all those packages are xbmc 11.0 and its new dependencies. It's just one key. I ran pacman-key -u and it says there is no need for updating (I may be misled about the purpose of the -u option though ).
    Any pointers?

    Thanks.
Too bad there was nothing about that on the general dev ML, or I must have overlooked it. I have followed the discussion about dropping the gnupg 1.4 branch, but no mention whatsoever of this breakage that the patch mentioned in the dev ML will fix.

    Hi all,

I tried print out the UnsatisfiedReferenceImpl stacktrace and it says

    Does anyone have any idea?

I have solved the problem. The problem was with an extra classpath entry.

    1) Search panel textinput item should be search allowed true and prompt is need. no other property need to set.
HERE YOU DONT WANT TO SET VIEW INSTANCE AND ATTRIBUTE SINCE WE ARE DOING FOR EXTENDED VO ITEM AS SEARCH ITEM.THAT'S OK. I TRIED WITH YOUR COMMENTS FOR TEXTINPUT ITEM TOO.
    Comment--
textinput item created is a simple item without any VO instance , etc.
There is no question of extended VO item, its a simple textinput item.
value in this field is going to compare with the values in result table.
    2) Search mapping, only search item id and result item id need to set.
I'M DOING HERE MAPPING FOR ABOVE SEARCH ITEM ID AND RESULT ITEM ID
    Comment-- Perfect !!
    3) Item created in table , after you extended Vo, view instance and attribute needs to set.
WHERE DO YOU WANT THIS TO BE SET?? CAN YOU ELABORATE THIS MORE PLEASE.MAY BE I'M MISSING HERE SOMETHING.
Comment-- you must have created message styled text item in adv table bean, assign VO instance and attribute to it, right?
    4) One more thing Parag, do i need to include where clause for extended VO item in view object??
    for ex:
where attribute(this is extended vo item)=:4
Comment-- No need. this will be handled by point#2 above, i.e. criteria and result items.

  • Why the standalone server unable to instantiate a bean?

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2 and working on an application that has dynamic regions.
The application was running fine within the Integrated WLS. But I got the following errors when the application run within the standalone WLS 10.3.2:
: JspServlet error: Servlet unable to dispatch to the following requested page:
    The following exception occurred:javax.faces.FacesException: oracle.adf.controller.ControllerException:
ADFC-10001: cannot instantiate class 'com.amec.convero.converoview.backingBean.DynamicRegionManager' class
The "DynamicRegionManager" is a session bean defined within the adfc-config.xml.
Why do I get this error only when running in a standalone WLS?
The application has no security setup at this point.
Any insight to debug/address this issues is appreciated!

Difficult to say without knowing how you have it all setup.
I can tell you what we did though when we used a proxy server.
We used AD and group policy to set the proxy server in users web browsers (I say we but it was the server guys, no idea about configuring AD etc. :-)).
You can add exceptions to this and we added an exception for our internal domain name so the browser would ignore the proxy server setting for internal requests and go direct to the web servers.

I'm having two entity beans: a TaxonomyEntityBean and a TaxonomyNodeEntityBean. The TaxonomyEntityBean uses the TaxonomyNodeEntityBean when it's removed. Using a standalone testclient I'm creating one TaxonomyEntityBean and a couple of TaxonomyNodeEntityBeans. After that I'm REMOVING the TaxonomyEntityBean, which, in his turn, tries to lookup the TaxonomyNodeEntityBeanHome (to remove them as well). The second lookup (from bean to bean) fails. The lookup from the client to the first bean is done using JNDI, the second (in the server) is done using references. I'm sure the ejb-jar.xml file and the orion-ejb-jar.xml files are correct. Xml snippets from the TaxonomyEntity are shown below (TaxonomyNodeEntity works correctly, so left out). Also, some code is shown.
    Could anybody help ;-)
    thnx,
    Alef

is one my supporting classes, all of which I have jarred up into a jar file vwsclasses.jar and put into the j2ee/home/lib directory so that deployed ejbs should pick them up but it has not.
I then added it to the ejbSecurity.jar but it has not made any difference.

  • [SOLVED] Pacman is unable to look up keys?

    Hi there,
I'm using Arch Linux for a while, and I'm using pacman 4.0 as well as key signing. It works without any problems, and I run system upgrades every 3 days or so.
Today i just want to initiate the upgrade with "pacman -Syu" as usual, but pacman refuses it because it is unable to check the keys. Since it did work perfectly before, I - of course - did pacman key initialization and configured the pacman.conf properly.

Cleaning the cache with pacman -Sc will leave the most recent downloaded version there, so delete the package manually from the cache and run pacman -Syu again.

  • HT4009 Unable to purchase magic beans in Trade Nation

In Trade Nation, I want to purchase magic beans through in-app purchase, erroer message: Unable to process in-app purchase, please contact iTunes support. There's afew possibilities stated on the error message that explain why the purchase can't go through, I checked every one of them and it is not my case.
    Thanks

But your post begs the obvious question .... Did you contact iTunes Support? Or is that the information that you received from iTunes Support?
If you haven't contacted them, there is nothing that anyone here can really suggest that would solve your problem.

  • Unable to lookup referenced beans

I've got a problem looking up referenced beans! I'm having three beans; TaxonomyManager, TaxonomyDependencyManager and TaxonomyEntity and the situation is as follows: the TaxonomyManager uses the TaxonomyDependencyManager (both stateless sessionbeans), the latter uses the TaxonomyEntity (entitybean). They all look eachother up using the java:comp/env namespace where they have been bound (in the deployment descriptors)
Situation 1: My client (RMIInitialContextFactory) looks up the TaxonomyManager does a call. The TaxonomyManager tries to look up the TaxonomyDependencyManagerHome and succeed. It tries to CREATE a TaxonomyDependencyManager and FAILS in the create method. See exception below
Situation 2: My client looks up the TaxonomyDependencyManager DIRECTLY and DOES NOT fail. So in this case (same situation) it works!
Situation 3: My client looks up the TaxonomyManager, does a call. No the TaxonomyManager does not lookup the TaxonomyDependencyManager using the java:comp/env namespace but it looks it up DIRECTLy (using JNDI name: smarthaven/taxonomy/TaxonomyDependencyManager). That works as well.
So the thing that goes wrong is: a bean that is bound in the ENV (java:comp/env namespace) that tries to look up another bean, that, in it's create method looks up another bean (all bound in the java:comp/env namespace)! All the other situations succceed...
Again there's NO problem or whatsoever with the deployment. Directly looking up the beans works!!!

  • Unable to deploy a bean

I create the jar file as follows:
    java -cp D:\bea\wlserver6.1lib\weblogic.jar weblogic.ejbc -compiler javac D:\working\icechill\classes\ScipBeans.jar D:\bea\wlserver6.1\config\mydomain\applications\ScipBeans.jar
After that I start my weblogic6.1 server and no error is thrown on the screen.
But when I check for the deployed beans, it clearly says that my bean is not deployed:
ScipBeans <UNDEPLOYED>, source: .\config\mydomain\applications components: ScipB
    eans
I am not able to do a lookup of my Home object since it is not deployed.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Sai,
I would like you to check a couple of things.
    1. Check the process by which you are making the jar file. I had posted this sometime back too :
Make sure that you have followed the steps for making the jar file correctly. For
example if you are working under a folder like
c:\bea\wlserver6.0\samples\examples\ejb\basic\entity ...and the package name is
like examples.ejb.basic.entity make sure that you are making the Naked jar file
from under c:\bea\wlserver6.0\examples ...something like :
    c:\bea\wlserver6.0\samples> jar -cvf examples\ejb\basic\entity\lsNkaed.jar
    examples\ejb\basic\entity\*.class
    c:\bea\wlserver6.0\samples> cd examples\ejb\basic\entity
    c:\bea\wlserver6.0\samples\examples\ejb\basic\entity>jar -uvf lsNaked.jar
    META-INF\
    c:\bea\wlserver6.0\samples\examples\ejb\basic\entity>java weblogic.ejbc
    lsNaked.jar entityEJB.jar
    2. How are you deploying the bean? If you are using the AutoDeployment (and copying the jar file under the applications directory before you start the weblogic) feature then make
sure that you are running in Development mode. This can be checked in your startweblogic script.
    3. If you are deploying from the browser console then make sure that the target is selected.
    4. If you still are having problems , although I'll doubt that, change the logging level from the browser console to "Info" from the default setting which is "Error", and check the
    stack trace.
    Thanks,

  • Help : Unable to use Java Beans in Oracle forms 6i

    Hi ,
I have been trying to run few sample code to understand how to use Java beans in oracle forms 6i .But have been largely unsuccessfull.
It will be great if somebody can provide me with some simple form( and java code )which uses java beans concept to give some data to the java program and receive some data from it . Pls inform me about the settings that need to be done.
If you guys know it then pls take the pains of writing a simple form and java code.
i hope somebody will respond because your reply is very necesary for me to proceed.
U can email me the code > [email protected]
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your reply Francois.
Actually i am not facing problem understanding the programming technique.
I think the problem at my end is more of a cofiguration one.I am using forms version 6i
    on oracle 8.
Every time i set the imlementation class property of the bean area it gives an error 13010 which translates to that "the class being mentioned is not extending the IView class".
The class i have written extends VBean so i am not sure why this error is occuring.
I think if oracle (correctly) finds the java class to use then i will be able to proceed.
    Pls reply.
If you have some code that is working fine then pls send it to me.And also inform is some environment variables have to be set for its use.

  • Help:unable to look up the Topic located on the remote oc4j server

I can use java class to look up the Topic on my local box standalone oc4j server(903), and publish/subscribe messages in JDeveloper environment. However, it failed when I tried to look up the Topic located on remote oc4j(903) within the same network. It seems it still trys to look up Topic on my local oc4j, it's so strange. The JMS server shipping with oc4j 903 is not fully supported. With oc4j 903, the only certified JMS provider is OracleJMS (based on advanced queueing).
oc4j 904 ships with a stable, certified JMS provider.

  • Unable to execute entity bean

    Hi all,
I have created entity bean (say CategoryBean) in which I am writing create method as follow.
    public String create() throws CreateException
    //my code goes here.
I am having Home interface (say CategoryHome) in which I have written this method as follow:
    public Category create() throws RemoteException, CreateException;
When I am executing this bean through web client I am getting following error in server log file:
error : java.rmi.RemoteException: Bean class for ejb [CategoryBean] does not define a method corresponding to [Home] interface method [public abstract qsys.appbeans.Category qsys.appbeans.CategoryHome.create() throws java.rmi.RemoteException,javax.ejb.CreateException]
Plz tell me where am I mistaken?
    Thanks.

You have to implement ejbCreate() method
corresponding to the method create()method in the
homre interface.Did I say something different?Well, your reply was short and precise. Not allowed :)
