Unable to parse a wsdl through wsdl manager

Hi,
I am using Open Script 12.3.0.1 Build 376. I am trying to add a WSDL from WSDL manager by giving a WSDL URL. The WSDL is available on a Weblogic server.
When I add the WSDL URL and click on Next , I get this error :
Connecting to http://<03sgp>.us.oracle.com:7777/soa-infra/services/default/SyncProductBRMCommsReqABCSImpl!1.0*soa_8019fb2c-907a-4639-b346-2811d544a18f/SyncProductBRMCommsReqABCSImpl?WSDL

Read timed out
However , when I click on the View button the WSDL is reachable. Otherwise also the wsdl is reachable from the browser.
I have tried by increasing the Request Timeout parameter. Also, changed the parsers available as options. Nothing helped. The most surprising thing is - the person sitting next to me can access it fine without any issues. His OATS is the same version and he is able to access the WSDLs without making any changes to the default OOTB values.
Any pointers are much appreciated.
Thanks,
Pramit

Was able to resolve it.

  • Unable to start SOA server through Node Manager

    Hi All,
I am trying to install AIA 11.1.1.6.0 on the top of SOA Suite 11.1.1.6.0.
I was able to install successfully the weblogic server, rcu, soa and osb servers. Now, before installing the AIA, the document i am following it says, make sure to start the soa server through the node manager.
Now i start the admin server, then the node manager, to make sure i have checked that the node manager is up, i logged in to the weblogic console, went to Machines, and i can see that it is up and reachable.
Now using the WLST commands, first i connected to the node manager using command nmConnect(), then i am trying to start the soa server through node manager using the command start('soa_server1') command.
I am getting an error while trying to start soa server with nmStart() command, below is the error message...
"Error starting server soa_server1: weblogic.nodemanager.NMException: Exception while starting server 'soa_server1'"
I executed the dumpStack() command, and i am getting the output as "No stack trace available"
If i am able to start the soa server through the node manager, i can go ahead and install the AIA pack but this is not letting me go forward.
I also tried to start the soa server through the weblogic console., go to servers tab, select the soa_server1 and start, the soa server state is going to "FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE".
I followed some of the blogs like...
    http://neeraj-soa-tips.blogspot.com/2010/06/starting-admin-and-managed-servers.html
    http://www.javamonamour.org/2011/09/nmconnect-nmstart-nmkill.html
    Experts, please give your advice.
    Many Thanks,
    N

    Hi Narsing,
I'm assuming that you've followed the required Pre-config steps. If it is not working, I'd suggest to start the Admin and SOA server without node manager first. Then start your node manager and see if it is reachable from the WLS console. Then shut down your SOA server from command prompt and restart your SOA server from WLS console.
Verify the Listen Address of your Node Manager and start your node manager from command prompt by explicitly specifying the same address and port.
As WLS console internally uses node manager only to start your server, you would not need to use WLST scripts to do the same and only SOA server needs to be started using node manager.
    Regards,
    Neeraj Sehgal
    Hi Neeraj,
I made sure that in the weblogic console, in the machines tab, local machine-->configuration--->Node Manager, I have given the correct Listen Address (Narsing-PC) and the listen port 5556.
I have made sure the property StartScriptEnabled= true.
I have started the admin server through startWebLogic.cmd command, now i start the node manager by going to the C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\server\bin and running the command startNodeManager.cmd, then i go to the weblogic console--->servers--->control--->soa_server1--->start , it is going to      FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE status.
If i see the log messages in the nodemanager.log, this is the below message...

  • Unable to read the WSDL in OWSM

    Hello Everyone,
Iam trying to register BPEL Process on OWSM but it gives me error saying unable to find the WSDL error.
When I test the Web Service directly from the Web Page it does Load the WSDL on the Test Page.
But the moment the wsdl is wrapped with virtualized wsdl it does give the following error
Failed to read WSDL from http://192.168.190.47:9700/ccore/TestGateway/services/SID0003003?wsdl:WSDL not found
As per the troubleshooting document this error could occur for 2 reasons
    1. If the Gateway is not registered properly on the Gateway.properties file.
    2. If there is proxy or firewall issue.
Since the Service is local to the same server i dont see any firewall or proxy issue and i did check the Gateway properties file where the Gateway ID is register.I do see the ID present on the file.
Can someone tell what might be the issue ?
    Regards
    Sabir

    Hi Sab2
    Please go through this thread
    OWSM gateway issue
In your case, may be you need to redeploy the gateway

  • Unable to find a WSDL

    Hi ;
I deployed a process. It was run correctly, but now i get this error:
Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service {http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpmn/bpmnProcess/MainProcess}MainProcess.service and port MainProcessPort. Please make sure that the port attribute for the binding defined in the composite file is correct by checking the namespace, service name, and port name. In addition, check that the WSDL associated with the binding namespace is imported and currently reachable (check the import nodes at the top of the composite file). Finally, validate the HTTP proxy settings for the server.
    What's the my fault?

    Hello,
When are you getting the error? On deploy or when you try to actually call the WebService?
I've had that type of errors on deploy and it's usually a problem not with the exposed webservice, as the error would suggest, but with the consumed services. Check that you can access all the references of that process, and that there are no typos in them.
If it's when you actually call the webservice, can you access it in Enterprise Manager and call it there?
    Hope this helps,
    Diogo Henriques

  • Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service

    Dear all
I have a very simple composite applicationexposing a web service. When I deploy the application I get:
There was an error deploying the composite on soa_server1: Deployment Failed: Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service {http://soa/sf/login}bpelprocess1_client_ep and port loginPort_pt.
However the build process shows no errors. The entire application was built using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5 using a pre-constructed WSDL. The SOA suite is 11.1.1.5
Any pointers will be really appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I don't see a loginPort_pt port in the wsdl, but it is referenced by the composite...
    There's only ports login_port_11 and login_port_12 defined...
    Cheers,
    Vlad

  • Cannot parse the wsdl

I was trying to create a proxy object in power builder 11.5 for the OSB web services and was getting an error as "cannot parse the wsdl".
Did any one successfully tried OSB webservices integeration in PB 11.5?
Please let me know how to integrate OSB webservices in PB 11.5
    Thanks

  • Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service name

    Hello,
I have a wsdl shared in mds and a composite with a bpel process that consumes that wsdl, but when that happens I get the following error:
oracle.fabric.common.FabricInvocationException: Unable to find the WSDL service defined for service name {http://directvla.com/schema/businessdomain/ServiceConfigurationRules/v1-0}ServiceConfigurationRules_pt. Please make sure that the port attribute for the binding defined in the composite file is correct by checking the namespace and service name in the #wsdl.endpoint element. In addition, check that the WSDL associated with the binding namespace is imported and currently reachable (check the import nodes at the top of the composite file). Finally, validate any HTTP proxy settings for the server.
I checked the composite, the wsdl and the endpoint and everything is ok. At the momment to avoid the error, the wsdl is local, but this is not a real solution, what I really need is to make it work with the mds.
    Can somebody help me?
    Thank for advance.

  • PLEASE help with JavaScript parsing of WSDL return

Can someone help with parsing return WSDL data?
My return WSDL data is a concatenated string of alias names (firstname middlename lastname generation) delininated with an "@":

    7433|ALIAS|John|W|Smith| @7432|ALIAS|Johnny| |Smith| @7430|ALIAS|JJ| |Smithers| @7431|ALIAS|JJ| |Smith| @7400|ALIAS|Jon| |Smith| @7416|ALIAS|John|Wilber|Smith|JR
I must have these names appear on my forms in a "lastname, firstname middlename generation" format. Can anyone provide expertise in this area if I provide the table.column reference?
    alias.alternate_id = tmp[0];
    alias.type = tmp[1];
    alias.firstname = tmp[2];
    alias.middlename = tmp[3];
    alias.lastname = tmp[4];
    alias.generation = tmp[5];

  • L755-S5244 - W7 system repair disc could not be created... unable to parse... XML data. (0x800705B9)

After creating a backup image of my W7 Toshiba laptop OK, the last step was the option to create a system repair disc. However that returned the following error:
System repair disc could not be created
Windows was unable to parse the requested XML data.
    (0x800705B9)
Note this is *not* the same as "system recovery discs"! I already have a set of those discs which work OK.. What I need is a system repair disc which allows booting into special recovery mode to repair W7, to restore a backup image, etc.
Note that my computer is working fine. I just need to be able to make a system repair disc in case there are future problems. There always are, eventually.
In googling this problem, there are many reports of this error but no clear solution. Some of the reported fixes refer to microsoft help/support/social/technet links which no longer exist. I tried one of those suggestions, SFC /SCANNOW, which didn't find any system file errors on my computer. So that's not the cause.
It may have something to do with the OEM W7 version which Toshiba puts on its laptops such as my L755-S5244(?). It's possible that Toshiba has intentionally or accidentally disabled the normal commands to make a system repair disc in W7. Does anybody know for sure?
    Thanks.

I did a fair amount of goggling and reading, then... I tried 3 different downloadable boot disks from maximumpcguides.com, spirebyte, and mydigitallife.info. They all work exactly the same. When booting from one of those discs, there are 5 options offered. I had to make text notes (below) because there's no way to make screen images in repair mode.
    1) Startup Repair - apparently works OK, at least it went through the process and found no errors. That's as it should be, because this computer is working fine! My only objective here is to find out what can be done someday when it malfunctions, as all computers do eventually..
    2) System Restore - doesn't work
big red X: "To use System Restore, you must specify which Windows installation to restore. Restart this computer, select an operating system, and then select System Restore." That makes no sense because I only have one Windows installation! This is an important option. Is there any way to access it when Windows 7 won't start normally?
    3) System Image Recovery - It found the image file I had created previously. But I didn't want to risk it on a properly functioning computer (no reason). So I don't know if it will actually work right... someday when I really need it.
    4) Windows Memory Diagnostic - doesn't work
"Windows cannot check for memory problems. An error is preventing Windows from checking for memory problems during startup. To run the Windows Memory Diagnostic manually, boot the computer from  the Windows installation disc, and then select Windows Memory Diagnostic from the Windows Boot Manager menu." However there is no such thing as a Windows installation disc on Toshiba OEM W7. Or is there? Also, I can get to Windows Boot Manager by pressing f8 during startup then select Repair Your Computer, but it won't do anything. Again, it requests the Windows installation disc, which I don't have. Then at the end of all the verbiage... "... Status 0xc000000e; Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible." It would be nice to run a good memory diagnostic because I just  upgraded from 4G to 8G RAM. Suggestions?
    5) Command Prompt - apparently works OK, at least it listed the directory when I entered "dir".
I feel that chances would be better if I could somehow get this W7 Toshiba laptop to make its own system repair disc, which goes full circle back to my original query... Can it be fixed to avoid the parse XML data error?

    Hi to all,
I am in the following scenario:

Then, using the connection that uses DAS, when I try tu use an outer join I get the following error:

  • Unable to start Hyperion EPM Architect - Process Manager after upgrade

    Hi All,
I'm unable to start Hyperion EPM Architect - Process Manager after upgrading from EPMA 11.1.1.3.0 to 11.1.1.3.03. I get the following error in the Event Viewer.
Service cannot be started. Hyperion.DimensionServer.ProcessManager.Interface.ProcessManagerException: Cannot initialize the Session Manager. ---> Hyperion.DataAccessLayerCore.DataAccessLayerException: Database version mismatch:  Hyperion.SessionManager schema version is 9.5.0.0.0.10,  database schema version is 9.5.0.0.9.1.

I've run through all the steps of patching EPMA ran the Oracle_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql script per the patch readme. But can't figure out where it's pulling the schema version number from. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Chuck

    Hi,
you forgot to update the EPMA database. Last step in patching is:
Now, you must run the database upgrade script before starting the process manager.
Run the single database upgrade script that corresponds to your database vendor.
    Oracle_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql
    SQL_Server_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql
    DB2_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql
The scripts are located in the following directory:
    %HYPERION_HOME%\OPatch\EPMA_11_1_1_3_01\files\products\Foundation\BPMA\Server\conf\
    hope that helps.

I have also checked WebLogic documentation for BEA-300048. It says "Cause: The most likely cause is a configuration error in the Shell/SSH/RSH NodeManager configuration".
but I'm using Java based node manager
All this is coming up when I enable StartScriptEnabled to true in nodemanager.properties.
What could be reason for failure?

    Hi.
If you are not using the latest service pack (sp2) please do so. If you are and are still seeing this
problem please open a case with support.

  • "Unable to parse the opf file" of my book, what to do?

We have created a neat little eBook with iBooks Author, following all the specifications, keeping an eye on memory limits, etc., and using some of the widgets, but we are getting an error message when we try to submit the book through iTunes Producer, so we can't cross the finish line (after which there is a beer waiting, but not yet.)
This eBook process has taken us about one year to complete.
This is the error message that appears on the system: "Error ITMS-9000 'Unable to parse opf file container.xml' at Book.
I know a little bit about EPUBs, and I know this is not a playground-variety error message. So I need help.
There are a few threads out there that address this issue (but not really, more like people drowning and crying "help" while the sea whirl drags them down to the depths).
Here is the issue: Our file is not a standard EPUB file that you can whip up with Sigil, and then mess with the manifest; it is a fully loaded peacock authored and designed with iBooks Author, complete with sound files, widgets, etc. Hence my worry.
Any suggestions so that I can sleep tonight? They would be much appreciated.

Yep, i just did it again. The entire scroll-bar widget, complete with formatted text, graphics, etc., pasted itself nicely in another book. Two different files, the same widget.
I use the scroll-bar widgets for most of my texts. (I have audio buttons on the side, and the scripts are within the widget, to the side). My only text is within widgets, and text boxes, naturally.
I am following your recommendation: cleaning files, etc. I am remaking the book anew. I need to convince the EPUB bot or whatever that my file looks and works nicely on all my devices. You would expect an error message when previewing the book: 'Hey Amigo, your file is flawed, stop working on it, and get back to the drawing board." Should be able to try again next Monday.
