Unable to play any music in iTunes, can load from cd but wont play, bar refuses to move. Have uninstalled and re-installed but same issue...had no problems 4days ago...any ideas?

having serious problems, as a performing musician I am severly hampered by this issue...can anyone offer some help?
mny thx

When you uninstalled, did you remove just iTunes? Or did you remove all of these:
iTunes
Quicktime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
All 6 need to be removed before a clean reinstall can be preformed.
