Unable to read external configuration (server)

I use Albpm (fuego) 5.7 mp3, while developing a catalog component which needs to use a url configured in external configuration created for type server. similar to DynamicJMS reads JMS & Server configuration from external configuration using configuration string argument
DynamicJMS.sendObjectMessage(configuration : "CallbackQueue", messageObject : msgMap);.
I need to a way to read such external configuration created on the server.
Please help.

Would initializing the disk erasing all the data???
It would erase all the data so don't do that (yet).
Try using an application such as [Data Rescue II|http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue.php] or [FileSalvage|http://subrosasoft.com/OSXSoftware/index.php?mainpage=product_info&productsid=1]. Both have free trial versions that let you see if the software will help before you decide to buy. You will also need a second hard drive equal to or larger in size than your first drive as a destination drive for recovered files.

  • RD Gateway Manager - Unable to read RD Gateway Server Settings

    I'm trying to install a Remote Desktop Gateway into my domain, but I am running into a serious road-block... when I load RD Gateway Manager to configure the service, there is nothing to configure because it won't load my server into the console. When I try
    to connect to it manually, it returns the following error:
    "Unable to read RD Gateway Server Settings"
    There are no errors or warnings in Event Viewer. I can verify that C:\Windows\System32\tsgateway\rap.xml exists and is readable. I can verify that Network Policy does have a TS_CAP_01 policy and it is enabled. A valid certificate was applied during setup
    (and I've also tried choosing ask me later).
    I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the role service (including manually verifying that the policies are removed). I also have this working on another domain server, so I'm at a loss for what to look for... How can I resolve this so that I
    can finish configuring the service?

    Hello,
    Thanks for your post.
    From your description, I understand that you’re trying to install the RD Gateway role on a Windows Server 2008 R2-based domain computer. However, after the role
    is install, the RD Gateway Manager cannot be loaded into the RD Gateway Manager. The error prompts “Unable to read RD Gateway Server Settings”.
    Based on my experience, the issue may be caused by problematic installation or startup of the RD Gateway role. Before we troubleshoot the issue further, I recommend
    you to enable the Audit level logging in the Event Viewer and double-check the related clues in the event viewer. To do that, please use the following steps:
    1.
    On the RD Gateway server open RD Gateway Manager. To open RD Gateway Manager, click
    Start, point to Administrative Tools, point to
    Remote Desktop Services, and then click RD Gateway Manager.
    2.
    In the console tree, right-click the node that represents your RD Gateway server, which is named for the computer on which the RD Gateway server is running, and then
    click Properties.
    3.
    On the
    Auditing tab, select or clear the appropriate check boxes to specify the events that you want to monitor for RD Gateway, and then click
    OK.
    When these events occur, you can monitor the corresponding events by using Windows Event Viewer. RD Gateway Manager server events are stored in Event Viewer under
    Application and Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\Terminal Services-Gateway\.
    Let us know the result if possible. We’d like to help further based on your information replied. Thanks.

  • RD Gateway Manager fails with "Unable to read RD Gateway Server Settings"

    The question is: Why can't I connect RD Gateway Manager on the local RD Gateway server?
    A month ago, I successfully configured a RD Gateway and to work with a RD Session Host.  I set up the RDG CAP and RAP policies.  I successfully tested connectivity through the gateway.
    Today, I tried to access the RD Gateway Manager and now I'm getting the following pop-up message:
    "Unable to read RD Gateway Server Settings"
    Everything still works and I am able to confirm that NPS is running the CAP policy that I configured in RD Gateway Manager.
    The certificate is from a trusted source.  The Event Log does not show any errors.

    Hi,
    Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
    Please let us know some more information.
    Did you make any change after setting up the server correctly?
    Have you make any changes in IIS?

  • WebUtil error: WUC-6: Unable to read WebUtil configuration file

    Dear Colleague,
    I received the following error:
    WUC-6: Unable to read WebUtil configuration file
    c:\OraHome_BIForms\forms\server\webutil.cfg
    In the meantime, I have verified that my default.env file contains the following path definition:
    # webutil config file path
    WEBUTIL_CONFIG=C:\OraHome_BIForms\forms\server\webutil.cfg
    What is wrong here? Does "unable to read..." mean that the file security settings do not allow read access to the webutil.cfg file?
    I would appreciate any advice you can give me.
    Thank you and kind regards,
    Randy

    In the meantime, I have figured out the solution to my problem.
    The webutil.cfg file was not in the directory that was being pointed to in the path parameter.

  • ASDM is unable to read the configuration from ASA.

    Earlier today I was configuring the Cisco ASA (7.2(2)) using the ASDM, but after a reboot of the appliance I now get the following:
    ASDM is unable to read the configuration from ASA.
    This happens shortly after ?Loading running configuration from the device? appears in the ASDM status window.
    I have tried restarting both the appliance and my workstation, but the issue persists. I have also tried clearing the ASDM cache, but that doesn?t help either. The issue occurs whether I used the Cisco ASDM Launcher or the web interface.
    SSH access to the appliance works fine.
    Thanks for any assistance (why is it that Cisco?s GUIs always have issues?!?).

    I have exactly the same issue , SSH works fine but ASDM and Web interface reply with that error message "ASDM is unable to read the configuration from ASA".
    My ASA is a 5520 ver 7.1(2) with ASDM 5.1(2)
    Could it be something related to Java ?
    Thanks for any hint.

  • Getting the error, "Unable to read Gateway configuration in wdbsvr.app" in error_log

    I have commented out the following lines in oracle_apache.conf.
    #include "E:\oracle\ora81\Apache\Apache\conf\mod__ose.conf"
    #include "E:\oracle\ora81\Apache\modplsql\cfg\plsql.conf"
    #include "E:\oracle\ora81\xdk\admin\xml.conf"
    include "E:\oracle\ora81\Apache\jsp\conf\ojsp.conf"
    When I un-comment these lines, my web server stops serving pages, then memory usages goes out of control. I have patched modplsql. Is it possible that my wbdsvr.app file is not configured correctly? Can someone share their file with me so I can compare the two?

    First good troubleshooting step to testing these sorts of API/LMS issues is to test the package in another LMS.
    The most common suggestion is SCORM Cloud:
    Scorm Cloud SCORM Cloud - A simpler way to deliver e-learning - SCORM
    Or an LMS with free trial accounts, perhaps:
    Inquisiq R4 - Learning Management System
    Whichever tool, does your package still have the same issues with those other LMS?
    If so, something is likely indeed wrong with the package.
    If not, then the issue is likely with the Saba LMS.
    In general, issues like this are often related to framesets. CP should search the browser windows for the API. If it can't find it, something may be interfering with that API 'hunt'.
    Many LMS products log such communication so you can trace the errors. Ask you Saba Admin if there's any log/trace available you could examine?

  • Unable to read output from server on a socket

    Hello everyone,
    I am trying to re-develop and application that traditionally is developed in VB.
    Traditional program does following: communicates with host using telnet; login, send some text, read the output from server, validates output and terminated telnet connection.
    I am trying to build same kind of application in Java using sockets, but I do not get any response from the server.
    Any Suggestions ?
    Thanks,
    Code below:
    String hostName="ip address here";
    int portNum=23; //Verified that server's telnet runs on port 23
    try
    socket=new Socket(hostName,portNum);
    out=new PrintWriter(socket.getOutputStream(),true);
    in=new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(socket.getInputStream()));
    }catch(UnknownHostException e){
    System.err.println ("Host not found: " + hostName);
    System.exit(1);
    }catch(IOException e){
    System.err.println("Could not get I/O for host: " + hostName + "on port: " + portNum);
    System.exit(1);
    BufferedReader stdin=new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
    String userInput;
    try{
    while ((userInput=stdin.readLine()) != null)
    out.println(userInput);
    while (in.readLine() != null){
    System.out.println("echo: "+in.readLine()); // I Expect server's output here but nothing happens.
    }catch(IOException e){
    System.err.println("User Input not read.");

    while (in.readLine() != null){
    System.out.println("echo: "+in.readLine()); // I Expect server's output here but nothing happens.I see two problems here:
    1) in.readLine() only returns null if the socket is closed. You will be forever in that loop.
    2) you are losing every second line of your input. If your telnet server sends only one line at the beginning, the readline() call in the while statement will swollow that.
    If you want to do this in a single thread, you will have to use a method which won't block until input is available, such as the read(char[], int, int) method of BufferedReader.
    You could also use two threads, of which one is printing the output and the other is taking user input. This has the advantage, that you are able to handle any connection errors immediatley instead of only when the user entered a command.
    Does telnet send information about the end of an input sequence (like the end of the welcome message and the end of the answer to any issued command? If not, I'd say that you should use two threads, as you would have to do polling all the time otherwise.
    Hope it helps.

  • Unable to Read Configuration (Airport Extreme w. OS 10.2.8/G4)

    I purchased an Airport Extreme Base Station. I am unable to configure it through the Airport Setup Assistant v 3.1. I get the following error when I click on the [Configure] icon "The Airport Admin Utility was unable to read the configuration of the selecetd base station". Airport works fine with my G4, but I cannot configure it so it will work with my PC laptop. Futher details:
    Mac OS 10.2.8
    Airport Setup Assisitant v3.1
    Apple Base Station v 5.7
    Mac G4 400 MHz w/ MacWireless 11g PCI Card
    G4   Mac OS X (10.2.x)

    I get an authentication error. My PC can see the Airport, but get past it. Do you have any tips on why I cannot access the configuration function of Airport Admin Utility? I see a lot of postings re this error but no real solutions yet.
    Thanks for your reply!

  • "Unable to read configuration"

    I recently moved and am sharing a wireless connection with my neighbor, who uses static IP and 128 bit WEP. I've been able to configure all my computers, including my iMac by wiring it to a bridge.
    The only thing is my AEX doesn't work, presumably because he has DHCP turned off and it doesn't have an IP assigned in the correct range. SO, I've been trying to configure it by plugging in the AEX to the bridge via ethernet and resetting.
    The base station shows up in both Admin Asst and Admin Utility, with an IP address (wrong range) and everything; and the green light is on. WHen I click on "configure" in Admin Utility, it spins for a while then asks me for a password - I have entered a few different ones (I don't know if I ever gave it one), it spins some more, then says "Aiport Admin Utility was unable to read the configuration of the slected base station. An error occurred while reading the configuration." Admin Asst gives me a similar response.
    How do I can get in and what do I do from there, just assign a new IP address and the SSID and voila?
    Any help would be vastly appreciated. FYI I am using it to stream Airtunes to my stereo; it worked brilliantly on my old setup before moving.

    First thing you need to do - ask your neighbor to provide you with a unique IP address that will work with his router.
    Then temporarily cable the Airport Express directly to the ethernet port of one of your Macs. The Airport Admin Utility will now "see" and allow you to configure the Airport Express. Under the Internet tab, select to "Configure Manually", then enter the IP address and subnet mask your neighbor provided. Under the Network tab, uncheck the box to "Distribute IP addresses". Update settings to the Airport Express. You can now cable the Airport Express (and the Mac) back to the wireless bridge - and if you run the Airport Admin Utility again, it should now be able to access the configuration of the Airport Express.

  • Unable to read iCloud sent mail in Mail.app

    Hello, starting about 1week ago my Mail.app gives me an exclamation mark in iCloud mail in Sent items.
    Clicking on it Mail gives me the error:
    Unable to access "iCloud":
    Unable to read data from server “p01-imap.mail.me.com”.
    If i go to Mail-Window-COnnection status, i get all positive results, in fact i can recieve mails but can't access Sent items folder.
    What's the problem?

    Hi Amit,
    To save the sent items in
    “Sent Items Folder” follow the given path (Outlook 2007):
    Tools
    >> Options >> Preference Tab >> E-Mail Options
    In E-Mail options, choose the
    “save copies of
    messages in sent items folder” check box and finally click on
    “Ok” button.
    Exchange server automatically creates the copy of the entire database.

  • HT5697 How do i configure os x server wiki to use the external web server?

    I have a Mac mini Server with OS X 10.10 and Server 4.0 running in a DMZ behind a firewall. The firewall passes a select few ports through to this server, exposing services to the Internet.
    I use two domains, one dummy domain only available on my local networks, and one proper domain available globally. Lets call them «example.lan» and «example.com». These domains are not hosted on the Mac mini, btw.
    In the external domain, I have «server.example.com» registered on my firewalls official IP address.
    In my internal domain, I have «server.example.lan» registered to my Mac mini internal (rfc1918) IP address.
    Server 4.0 -> Websites seem to work as expected. I have three servers configured: «Server Website - All IP addresses», port 80 + 443. These serve the local networks. Then there is «server.example.com», port 443, serving the internet.
    Now to my question: How to I control which of these websites we Wiki uses?
    When I activate the Wiki, it is published on «server.example.lan/wiki», which seems rather pointless. In order for the wiki to be available to the internet, it needs to be published on «server.example.com/wiki», but I see no way of doing this. What am I missing here?
    Regards,
    Gakke

    it does look like you can add virtual domains in the GUI of Server.app on at least some versions, but I don't have an OS X Server 10.8 version handy to check.
    I'd encourage spending some time to learn the command line.  In general, the payoff for learning the command line will be worth the effort expended.  You're running a mail server here and sooner or later the capabilities of the GUI will fail you.  This whether due to a configuration omission in the GUI itself, or due to the need to troubleshoot a malfunctioning mail server, a need to automate one or more of the Postfix-related sequences, or some other IT-related task.  Entirely FWIW, of course.
    Here's a cut-and-paste of the sequence just used to test the command line access to the Postfix configuration, first fetching the current value, appending example.com as the second domain, then displaying the new value, then restarting the Postfix server.  Don't enter the dollar signs; just the postconf command and following.  Adjust example.com to match your domain...
    $ postconf mydestination
    mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost
    $ sudo postconf -e 'mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost, example.com'
    Password: {your admin password here}
    $ postconf mydestination
    mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost, example.com
    $ sudo postfix reload
    The Postfix and Postconf commands work irrespective of the OS X Server version; the tools reference the data files as needed.
