Unable to see idoc in WE02 in ECC or GTS

Hello -
When I send an idoc to GTS for a material master change via program RBDMIDOC in SE38, I do not see the idoc display in WE02 in ECC or GTS. I see that some, but not all of the data which I changed in the ECC material master has been updated in the GTS Product Master and therefore know that an idoc is being generated and sent, but I want to troubleshoot it to see what data was and was not picked up and sent over. Since I cannot see the idoc that was generated in WE02 in either ECC or GTS, I am unable to do so.
The reason I am investigating this is that I am attempting to send over additional data (tax classifications) in the Reduced Message Type /SAPSLL/MATMAS_SLL, but the newly selected data is not picked up and sent over. I am trying to understand if this is an issue with configuration or the idoc itself.
Has anyone had any experience with this that can offer some insight?

SAP ERP system does not generate Intermediate Documents (IDocs) for data distribution
to SAP GTS, certain settings from the IDoc Interface are used: message types and change pointers.
MATMAS for material masters, CREMAS for vendor masters, and DEBMAS for customer masters. They are linked to IDoc basic types defining the formatting structure of the data records that are to be sent.
Instead of generating IDocs, the programs used in the SAP ERP feeder system for the transfer of master data to SAP GTS carry out RFCs based on the reduced structure.
this is the reason you are not able to se the idoc inWE02 as ther is no idoc as such created.
If you want see what data is getting transferred to GTS when you sending the material do following step.
1. Before running the program to send material to GTS switch on debug mode by putting /h as tcode.
2. Run the program to send the Material to GTS,
3. Set break point at statement RFC.
4. Press F8 , it will stop at the RFC call FM which is called in GTS here you can check all the detail which goes to GTS.

Unable to see IDOC sent by R3 in XI

In XI server, we have done partner profile(ALE/IDOC) configuration due to some special requirement. Now XI server unable to receive the IDOC. After from this, I am unable to see the IDOCs that were processed earlier. Before this ALE/IDOC configuration, I was able to send IDOC to XI and also able to see IDOC in IDX5 and sxmb_moni. When I send IDOC from R3 then status of IDOC is 03. But when we check the IDOC in XI server using IDX5. I don't see any IDOC.

Unable to see IDOC

Hello..
I'm sendin IDOC from SAP to XI..
I configured ALE set up in SAP..and IDX1,IDX2 in XI.
In ID i created sender communication channel for biz system..but..when i'm triggering idoc from we19..i'm getting error in sm58 ..
error is "Use IDOC Adapter for FM IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS This is not supported"....
In adapter monitor channel is in green.
Can any body tell me what might be the wrong?

Recipient: PORT give the name of your port which uses the RFC dest pointing to your XI Server
(have you tested the destination in SM59? is it working?)
then do the step 3
"Next click on the the 'Standard outbound processing' tab at the top. And then enter the number of IDocs you want to generate."
Do this exactly as in this weblog and check if it's working

Can not see messages in SXMB_MONI of ECC

Hi Friends,
 Here I am facing some problem with SXMB_MONI of ECC. I am doing an XI upgrade from XI3.0 to PI 7.1.
when I am doing my interface upgrade I am unable to see messages in SXMB_MONI of ECC. As ECC is also got upgraded now BASIS is very confused about configuration.
 when I went through some blogs I came across some suggestions like configuration in SXMB_ADM. In ECC the integration engine configuration what I did is
 Role of Business System : Application System.
 Corresponding Integ. Server : dest://<HTTP DEST>
 One of my doubts:: Is <HTTP DEST> is the one which we are giving in XI/PI or the new one created for ECC. First BASIS set up <HTTP DEST> as the same one which was configured in PI. Then I went back to BASIS and tell them that ECC is having its own local Integration Engine, so we need to create <HTTP DEST> which connects to integration engine of ECC.
 Then they created one <HTTP DEST> for ECC. but when I am doing connection test, Http response is coming as 400 BAD HTTP Response :: protocol error. I have no idea why it is behaving like that.
 After when I go through some more blogs they are dealing with RFC destinations LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI. when I check it in ECC I didn't found RFC destination LCRSAPRFC but SAPSLDAPI is existing in ECC.
 more over some blogs deal with the configuration in Transaction SLDAPICUST. when I check it in ECC no configuration was done in SLDAPICUST.
 I already configured ENGINE_TYPE, IS_URL, LOGGING, LOGGING_PROPAGATION, LOGGING_SYNC under specific configuration data of SXMB_ADM of ECC.
 Please let me know what needs to be done and let me out of this confusion. As I am a PI developer I am unaware of all these configurations. expecting replies from gurus....

 Now my doubt is whether we can see the messages which were going to ECC by RFC adapter ?
 Looking at a thread I got confused whether SXMB_MONI can capture messages only if they are coming from Proxy or IDOC . please clarify me.

Unable to see a column of a table in portal for a particular User

Hi,
A particular user is unable to see a particular column of a table in the portal . The application is developed in Webdynpro ABAP. The table contains two columns. Both the columns contain text type fields. What appears to the user is that the left column has disappeared and the right hand column has shifted to the left.
This is occuring for a particular user only. We have checked in our development and quality systems but we are unable to replicate the issue. Please help.

You can use BAPI in LSMW to craete Material or You can use direct input method. Both methods as follows below:
Using BAPI in LSMW:
First maintain IDOC Inbound Processing steps by giving PORT and Partner Type and Partner Numberby clicking 'settings' icon in menu path in LSMW Screen.
Adn then execute LSMW and maintain the values as below in the first step.
BusinessObject Method(BAPI)
Business Object       BUS1001006                      Standard material
Method                     SAVEDATA                        Create and change materia
Message Type         MATMAS_BAPI                   Create and change materia
Basic Type               MATMAS_BAPI03               Create and Change Materia.
For the selecting of views, you can maintain fields for all views(From Basic view to costing view) in your excel and populate with 'X' in respective fields for activating views.
In the 6th step (Maintain field mapping and conversion rules). you can map those fields for views which you want to activate since we have all views are in the standard structure.
Using Direct Input Method:
Standard Batch/Direct Input

Unable to see the field in PSA

I developed the reports every thing fine but one of the field FISTL_WP in datasource 0HR_PY_1 able to see the data in rsa3 and same field data unable to see in PSA level and as well as RSA6 data source level in ECC system so any one face the issue before please pass your inputs.

You can write custom program on ecc dev system T code - SE38.
Check below code.
Report ZROOSFIELD
tables: ROOSFEILD.
SELCT SINGLE * FROM ROOSFIELD WHERE OLTPSOURCE = '0HR_PY_1' AND
OBJVERS = 'A' AND FIELD ='FISTL_WP'.
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
ROOSFIELD-SELECTION ='P'.
MODIFY ROOSFEILD.
ENDIF.
do the syntax check and execute it. Later check above table. you filed SELECTION will be as P.
After that you can see at RSA6 and replicate data source to bw side. Do the rest of the things at bw side.

Originals tab unable to see

Dear Friends,
I have to implement DMS on ECC 6.0, as you all are aware that with ECC 6.0 2 tabs are coming as a functionality of PLM. I will apply the solution to remove those tabs. But Originals tab I am unable to see. Where can I attach my documents in DIR.

Hi Punam,
generally you can add originals also on the first tab ('Document Data') too. Here you should see the original area in transaction CV01N, CV02N or CV03N.
However the 'Original' tab should be visible in the standard of ERP2005 as there is no functionality how this could be removed.
So if you go to CV01N and create a new document info record, then you will see the original functionality buttons at the bottom of the 'Document Data' tab. Here you will also find the 'Create' button for originals which allows you to add a new original.

After all these admin activites, we are unable to see the SFSF adapter in the list.
As i understand we need to download .TPZ adapter SFSF Adapter file and import in ESR? Is my understanding correct ? i could not able to find the TPZ file in service market place.

The Reason we are using a Interface rather than using a IDOC directly is because our the IDOC Structure is 867.ORDERS01.ZORDRS1x and this is a custom IDOC in ECC and when we try to directly use the structure in the Interface Determination we get the error

IDOCs not syndicating to ECC 6.0

Hope you all are good!
Currently I am working on SAP NW MDM 7.1, Material and Vendor master, I have SAP portal through which users creates materials as well as Vendor to be created it in the MDM and created materials and vendors will send to ECC 6.0. This complete process takes place in following way.
User>raise request on Portal>comes for Approval>Approved materials gets created in MDM>IDOCS get created in ECC>remains in MDM ready folder(for some unknown reason)>need to do mynute changes on the record-->material gets created in the ECC.
I will more clear on the above scenario now, we implemented MDM in Automobile industry, so material duplications happens on the large scale. so After above process MDM creates only basic view of material and rest of the views such as finance, sales related views as per their requirements.
Now, the system is completely ready and functioning smooth except one major problem, where materials are getting created though portal, it comes to MDM, necessary checks are happening and material gets created into the ECC system, but...
There are materials which approves through portal, comes into MDM but not reflecting into the ECC system, it happens only for some materials which is similar as materials which approves and goes to the ECC system, there is some syndication level problem..
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Material locked by itself
As per my understanding, there is nothing wrong in your code, Splitting the message in XI etc will also not help.
I mean you will get this error while posting the IDOC in ECC if that time that record is being edited by some user of ECC.
Make sure that the Materials which you are updating through IDOC posting that time these materials should not be edited by any user of ECC else you will get this error.
See, if the material is locked by some other user error message will also point out which user has locked the data which is not the case here-->Material locked by itself If the Idoc fails due to parallel processing/edit of same material by other user it will have status as 51.
Also the Idoc has been posted succesfully here, status 53, but it has not updated the material tables.
Sometimes Idocs have 64 status- ready to be transferred to application but are not processed, due to issues like loop in the FM, load/volume which can be reviewed for resolution.
@Swapnil- Suggest you to contact ECC ABAP consultant on this.

Unable to see sales area tab in CRM production client

Dear Experts,
I established middleware connectivity between CRM 2007(001) and ECC 6.0(200) Production Clients,
i maintained following settings
Used transaction code BUSD
and select the respective role and click on BP Role -> Subheader ID
Checked the entry 'CRM001 CRM: Sales Area Data' and even i checked the consistency is ok and active in org model.
But still I am unable to see sales area tab in the BP master In the CRM production client (001) .
Plz sugest what else i have to do to rectify this problem.

We all ready done buffering.
We have executed report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE,
and the scenario SALE is flagged as buffered in customizing table T77OMATTSC.
But still we are not able see the sales area tab in bp master.
Note : one thing we noticed when we selected the r3 reference customers when copied sales area into crm bp by using the tcode crmc_bupa_consum we are able to see the sales area tab.
But when we trying to create new bp by using role Sold to party we are not able to see Sales area tab in bp master.

Unable to delete IDoc meta data

Hi,
When I'm trying to load the IDoc meta data from IDX2 it is telling first delete the old one and then reload. But, the problem is we are unable to see the already existing IDoc meta data.
Can some one suggest how to see meta data all the loaded IDocs.

Hi Jeevan,
You may be checking for the IDoc meta data in the wrong port.
Make sure that you are looking in the correct port.

1. In IDX2 expand the Port that you are trying to import the IDoc.
2. Locate the IDoc type in that port and hit Delete.

Unable to see interface on ASA 5510 Firewall

Hi Ramraj,
Even i have the base license for my ASA 5510 which is showing all the 4 interfaces in sh ver. I don't think so license would be an issue. There should be some IOS code bug that needs to be upgraded. If this goes for an OS upgrade it should get resolved.
Its not showing up in sh ver . As Karsten said he might be running on old IOS version.

Unable to import idoc into PI 7.0 system from SAP r/3 system

Hi Experts,
    I am getting an error while importing an Idoc structure from SAP r/3 system. The error says "unable to read Idoc segments". The Idoc has recently undergone changes. When We are looking at the struture of idoc through IDOCSYN table it is showing updated structure in SAP R/3 system but import to SAP XI is failing.
Can you suggest some way to tackle this kind of problem.

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected]
4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.
