Slide to Unlock Does not respond.

I have the new iPad. When I turn it off and then back on, the slide to unlock does not respond. However, when I do slide it and wait a little bit, it does unlock. Is there anything I can do to get the slide to unlock to respond?

I have the same problem as dberkovich and I too did resets, restores, reboot, etc. Still acts the same.
Power up iPad (3-new)
slide to unlock is frozen, lights do not move in the background,
wait 10-15 seconds, screen goes black
push home button and slide to unlock is working perfectly.
This occurs everytime after complete power off and then back on.
Took it to a Mac Store,(not Apple store) and representative said "We've never heard of this and it may be software and you should take it to an Apple store."
Fact: My nearest Apple store is about a 3 hour drive each way with even no traffic.
This problem occured when my software was updated with IOS6.

ASObjC panel not responding

I have a problem with a panel not responding. My program will loop through a list, and download the according xml data from a database. If only one item exists, it works no problem and downloads everything perfectly, but i have a problem when there are multiple results. A custom panel shows up, with all the possible options, and once the user has chosen the correct one, they can click on a button that is connected to a "finish downloading data" handler. the problem happens right here. when the panel shows up, the loop continues without waiting for the user to choose the correct option. I have tried adding a canContinue property with a repeat while loop and a delay command, but this makes so that the panel does not respond making the program freeze. So my question is: is there a way to tell it to wait until the user has chosen the correct entry??

Java 7u25 control panel not responding

Hi all, I have just updated the latest version of Java : 7u25 on several computers running Win7
When I try to open the control panel, I have an errror : JAVA(TM) SE Platform not responding.
Or, I dont have any error.
In the Windows process monitor, I can see Javaw.exe launches and ends a few seconds later.
So, impossible to manage the java control panel.
Even If I launch C:\Program files(x86)\java\lib\javacpl.exe I got the same issue.
This issue occurs on all my machines.
Any idea of how to solve that issue ?

Unlock slide is not responding. i restored and updated to latest sw, but no success.I reset phone with menu button and on/off. no success.

Do you think the touch screen is dead? If so you might need to bring it to the apple store.

HP 6500 wireless ALL-in-one e709n Printer front panel not responding at all

Hi there,
I have got a HP 6500 wireless ALL-in-one e709n printer.
I have been using it with my pc with windows vista on it for nearly 2 years and it has been great.
1 month ago, the front panel of the printer stopped responding, ie, when i press any buttons, the lcd screen on the printer does not change, it always show the ink level.
The printer turns on, shows that its preparing, then goes to idle state with ink level icons on the screen.
If i try to print any documents, it works with ethernet cable connected to my pc (which i used to do it wirelessly) , the cable-connected printing function still works, but wireless printing does not work anymore.
However if i try to scan something, on the pc when i open the hp scan app, it shows that 'scanner is not available'.
Also because the front panel doesnt work, no buttons respond, i cannot scan or copy.
I have tried unplug everything and reinstall all drivers and programs.
No damage to printer or my pc, it just stopped working all the sudden.
Can any one help me out please?

B540 - front panel not responding

The touch button (vloume, brightness) at the bottom of the screen are not working. Is it spoilt or have I accidentally disable them ?

I’m sorry to hear that the front panel touch buttons are not working as expected in your B540 All-In-One computer, I suggest you to check if the issue persists in BIOS menu as well. To access BIOS menu press F1 Key at the time of startup before the Lenovo Logo appears on the screen, then check if the touch buttons are working. If the issue persists in BIOS menu then it is hardware related. I would Strongly Suggest Calling Technical Support for Assistance for further assistance.

Please can someone tell me how to fix my iphone 3gs. The slide to unlock button is not responding

Have you tried a reset to see if it works after the phone has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

Develop panels not responding...

I just recently uploaded some new pics, sorted them all out and went to the develop module to start editing. When I click on one of the develop panels, it only opens maybe half way. Tried to open another panel and nothing happens ( Tone Adjustment, HTL etc. ). I checked my view mode, everything looks OK. Nothing is hidden, the panels just don't work. I'm running LR 3.6 on a Dell with Windows 7. I just tried the panels in the quick develop module and the panels are doing the same thing. Tried reboot, optimize catalog. Any help ?

Try resetting the prefrences for your lightroom.
Location is given on webpage:

You can simply go to the relevant location according to your Operating system and delete the .prefs file.
Then check if it is working or not.
If working, very good.
If not ,simply create a new catalog, you can use import from another catalog option to get back your previous catalog pictures.

XFCE panel not responding after suspend

I've installed XFCE and slim, when I wake up suspended computer XFCE panel behave weird. I can't run any application from launcher in panel, but I can switch between running apps or open panel properties. I think it might be problem with suspending.
Some stuff I've noticed:
- I set in xfce power manager and xfce session that computer is locked before suspend but after wake up isn't locked

You don't have to restart all of xfce, just the panel.
killall -v xfce4-panel
then restart it in a terminal to catch any errors
xfce4-panel
If you're lucky there'll be errors in the terminal when the panel becomes unresponsive and you can chase them down.

Main button on face panel not responding when pushed. Any suggestions?

The main button on the front of my Iphone4 only works about 30% of the time. Restarting the phone does not help. I can push and push and it won't exit the app I am in.
Any suggestions?

If your device still in warranty, you may ask support for a defective Home button.

Touch panel not responding

My iPhone is now more than 100 days old. It just stopped responding to my touch in a strip about one third from the bottom. When I like to make it forget about a wifi or clear recent map searches, I cannot as the crucial red button cannot be clicked. I can cancel the whole process. I tried to clean the screen, reset the phone, almost everything, and it is yet to recover the touch sensitivity. Any suggestion?

FW "not responding" after every command

I'm renaming and relinking a series of button instances from the document library. I change the button name, "not responding" appears at the top of the screen. After a few seconds, I add the link in the properties panel, "not responding." After a few more seconds, I indicate target in the properties panel, "not responding." I can only enter one command at a time then wait for FW to go from not responding to accepting the command.
Also, when I save, FW shows "not responding" at the top of the screen for a few seconds before accepting the save.
Why is it doing this?
I'm in FW CS5, Windows 7. I have 8g of RAM.

Okay, here are two shots of my Task Manager when FW was "not responding." This happened in both cases when I hit ctrl-F12 to preview all pages. I was not saving, just previewing. The not-responding state lasted about 10 seconds.

How do you remove/add a program in the Control Panel that does not respond to the command?

Without being installed (by me) this "Dictionary.com" toolbar that appeared and is taking up a whole line of space across the top of my desktop monitor! I followed the procedure on how to remove the toolbar precisely... Start> Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs>
then clicked on the program > Remove which is "Dictionary.com" and the computer would not respond to the command. I cannot get it to respond to any program that I clicked on. When I clicked the "Remove" button , the area or line darkens to a light tan. and I cannot even close the menu.
This very strange and frustrating and I don,t know what to do.
I just want it removed or go away.
