Unwanted link appears in paragraphs - AP div issue?

Hello. I am using cs4 on Macbook Pro (version 10.6.8) and develping the site below.
http://www.gibbstowndentistry.com/
If you are using Firefox you may not see it, but if you are on Safari, you can see there is a link for whole paragraph in editable region (underlined).  Still there is a link in Firefox, you just cannot see it (no underline)
The link is going to the box called "patient account access"  which suppose to be only from the blue button called "Patinet Login" on the right side.
First 2 categories on Navi bar (Home & Our office) got this unwanted link, but other 3 categories (Dental Service, Dental Health, Contact Us) seem OK.
For example:
http://www.gibbstowndentistry.com/childrens_dentistry.html
Each category has a separate template, I so template1, 2 are not right, but other 3 are OK.
I just cannot find why this happens. If I have to I will make new pages, but I would like to know the reason. Maybe APdiv issue?
If someone can teach me why, I will be really appreciate it. Thank you.

For the first issue with links on line 127 of your code you have an "a" tag that is not closed (missing </a>).
For the second issue you may need to explain this a bit more.  And I would also recommend reading up on CSS ( http://www.w3schools.com/css/ ).  You are using <div align="center"> which is deprecated code when you should just be editing the Spry CSS and adding "text-align:center;" to the "ul.MenuBarHorizontal a" CSS code ( documentation - http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Spry/SDG/help.html?content=WS895F3A6D-6D73-42ef-B568-3D04A BD2F171.html ).

  • Unwanted links appearing in PDF document

    This is a continuation of a question I posted on the Indesign forum http://forums.adobe.com/message/4266495#4266495
    I have a document that was created in InDesign 3 and I am currently using InDesign CS5.5. When the document is printed to Adobe PDF I end up with random text that shows as a link. For instance if I hover my cursor over a table in question, the cursor changes to a hand and a box pops up displaying all of the information on the page as a web address. How do I correct this?
    I have attempted to remove all hidden data in Adobe Acrobat Pro but this renders the document unsearchable. When I then run OCR the mysteries links reappear.
    here is a screen capture of the issue

    I am not sure that I am following your advice. The problem is i receive random links which appear on certain pages. the example above happens when I hover anywhere in the table. This particular page does have legitimate web links but when selected they also display incorrect info. I have attempted the following actions with no success: "Remove Hidden Data", "Sanitize Document", "Remove All Links" and various actions using the action wizard (publish sensitive document, create accessible PDF's).
    If I add a link like you suggest then yes the link does work correctly but I have to wipe the entire document which in turn leaves the document un searchable.

  • "Link Appearance" in Acrobat 7.0 PDF generator

    Under Acrobat 5.0 PDFmaker in MS Word you can set some display options for the generates PDF file. Options like showing default bookmarks panel, visible rectangles around links and make these rectangle blue/solid.
    Where can i find these options in Acrobat 7.0 PDFGenerator? Under the job options in Livecycle i do not see the same options (only the bookmark panel, page layout and page number option are equal in 7.0).
    Also settings for gererating bookmarks and annotations/notes are not there anymore?
    What is then the best way to set for example the "Link Appearance" in Acrobat 7.0 PDF generator or can't these settings be made anymore?
    I already tried thinks with epilogue.ps:
    % OPEN INFO
    [ /PageMode /UseOutlines
    /Page 1
    /View [/XYZ null null null]
    /DOCVIEW
    pdfmark
    But more then these DOCVIEW settings i can't find?
    I also saw that the PDFMWord.dll (having a PDFMakerCreateStructure method for combining 2 PDF's to one!?) used in 5.0 is smaller then in 7.0. This method creates my blue visible rectangles because i can see the differences in the temp PDF's that are used before and after this execution. I also can't find any macro's (PDFMaker.dot) in 7.0, so it's probably a different handling?
    So, what is the best way to solve the above issue for 7.0?

    Hi Laura:
    Can you elaborate a bit more on "converting some interactive/dynamic templates from Acrobat 5.0 to 7.0" and "pre-populate"?
    If you were converting the template in Adobe LiveCycle Designer (comes with Acrobat Professional), then FDF import wouldn't work.
    However, if you are executing the same action via Acrobat then FDF and xFDF import/export should still work.
    Also, for designer based forms, you also have the option of merging the data into the PDF form using Adobe LiveCycle Forms (A server based product).
    Another server based solution is to Reader Extend your PDF form to allow local import/export of data using Adobe Reader.
    It really depends on what you want to do.
    So options are this:
    If your form is a Designer based forms:
    - Manually Import Data (in XML) into PDF Form using Acrobat Professional
    - Manually Import Data (in XML) into PDF Form* (Reader extended PDF form) using Adobe Reader
    - Merge Data Programmatically (in XML) into PDF Form using Adobe LiveCycle Forms
    If your form is an AcroForm (acrobat based form)
    - Programmatically merge FDF data into PDF Form using the FDF toolkit/Acrobat SDK
    - Manually Import Data in FDF/xFDF into PDF Form using Acrobat Professional.

  • Unwanted fills appearing on objects that have no fill

    Hi, Something has changed from CS5 to CS6 and I can't figure out what is going on.
    This issue happens only when my co-worker and I share a file. We are both using the identical up to date macs with our own versions of CS6.
    If he sends me a file with traced text like below when I copy the text and paste unwanted fills appear (and the art for the cutout of the inside of objects vanishes). This happens on any art with "holes" in the objects (not just traced art).
    There is no fill on the inside of the letters, file has been expanded.... any ideas what might be causing this? Co-worker and I have worked together for years sending similar files back and forth, but since CS6 this has started popping up.
    Thanks for any help.

    TMOTX,
    How are you exchanging files?
    If you are saving to external media: It is always recommended here to open/save from/to own hard disk, and to copy from/to networks and removable media. You may be lucky (for a while), but the chances of file corruption and other unpleasantnesses are immensely greater when you use anything but the harddisk, and it is better to be safe than sorry.
    In addition to the (far greater) risk of file corruption, some issues are mentioned here:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/illustrator-support-networks-removable-media.html
    What happens if you transfer the files using the OS copy and paste outside Illy, or email them, maybe as zipped files?

  • Hover links showing. CSS or HTML issue?

    We are using CSS plus Dreamweaver 8. We momentarily see the
    navigation "hover links" appear before a full page of content
    manages to get loaded. (Imagine seeing a white browser page with
    some underlined links in purple between one page leaving and the
    next one appearing)
    An Hour later------------------
    We have solved the issue. The issue was a line across the
    page which was messing it up.
    Have a great day.

    I have a very fast connection so I am not seeing your
    problem.

  • Unwanted popups appear while printing from a VS CR page

    I am a new employee with 3 years experience in .Net, only small experience in framework, and no experience in Crystal Reports.
    We are trying to upgrade our production box to a 2008 64 bit server. My boss has almost everything working, accept for printing is giving us grief. It is setup to print a report in a web page with a printing icon we display. It eventually prints, but a horrible little popup is displaying. The header lines says "Print, and the body of the popup says "Crystal Reports Print Control". There is a "cancel" button that is greyed out, and that it it.
    The actual "Print Setup" pops up too, but we want that one to show. It goes directly to my default printer.
    Once I say that I want to print, that same popup changes what it says. It then says "Retrieving page 1 of 2", etc. It goes pretty fast. I can't read it all. Once all the pages are printed, another unwanted popup appears.
    It says "Server Error" as the heading, "An error occured on the server. Printing will be stopped. Would you like to view the error information?" as the message, and a "yes" or "no" button to choose from.
    I have tried selecting both. When I says yes, a browser opens a file called "PrintControlError.html" that is completely blank.
    We have Visual Studio 2008, and we are using CRS 12.0.0.683 and CR Basic for Visual Studio 10.5.0.0.

    1) What CR assemblies are you referencing in your project?
    Here is the assemblies from the web.config file:
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Framework, Version=12.0.1100.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.InfoStore, Version=12.0.1100.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692FBEA5521E1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Shared, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692FBEA5521E1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.ReportSource, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692FBEA5521E1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Desktop.Report, Version=12.0.1100.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692FBEA5521E1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.Controllers, Version=12.0.1100.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692FBEA5521E1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692FBEA5521E1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Viewing.ReportSource, Version=12.0.1100.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692FBEA5521E1304"/>
    <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc, Version=12.0.1100.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"/>
    2) What is the version of the CR assembly crystaldecisions.crystalrepoprts.engine.dll referenced in your project?
    The crystaldecisions.crystalreports.engine.dll versions referred to in the project are v1.1.4322 & v2.0.50727.
    3) What CR Service pack are you on?
    When I look at what is installed, I can not find any service packs. My boss has also posted something on this web site, and he says that we have Crystal Reports 2008 Fix Pack 2.8 - redist installed. He also said that we tried SP3 to no effect. I hope that that helps.
    Re: ActiveX server error when printing
    4) Are you seeing this issue on the development computer as well as the runtime server?
    The production box is the only 2008 64 bit that we have, and it is the only computer that we are having an issue on.
    5) If on the runtime server only, how was the CR runtime deployed? I see CR Reports 2008 runtine is installed?
    I'm not sure how CR was deployed, because the only 2 other developers to tough this are gone.
    6) Are you using default app pool, or custom app pool?
    Don't know how to answer this question.
    7) Are you running the app pool as 32 or 64 bit?
    Don't know how to answer this question either.
    Sorry, newby here.

    Itunes was working fine. Tried to install latest upgrade and get error message about an invalid character in the path "Program Files (x86)". PC, Win7, nothing else appears to be having same issue. Program still works, simply cannor upgrade.

    Thanks b noir,
    I tried this solution without success. After FixIt ran and didn't find a problem, either in looking for issues with "software upgrade" or "iTunes" it kindly offered to help me uninstall iTunes. I had thought of this as a possibilty but it seems to me that if you do that you lose a lot of "non-native-to-Apple" information you might have entered. I did this once and recovery was painfull. Is there a way to uninstall iTunes without losing all of that sort of thing? Any help would be appreciated.

    Where are you hosting your site and how are you uploading the files to it?
    Publish your site to a folder on your hard drive and open it locally with your browser to see if these pages display properly or not.  If the look OK then the problem lies with the uploading of the files to the server.
    If the local site looks the same as the online site then the problem is more serious.

  • There appears to be a MAJOR issue (hang/memory leak) in "about:home", also known as the Firefox Start Page, in Firefox 26.0 on Windows!

    There appears to be a MAJOR issue (hang/memory leak) in "about:home", also known as the Firefox Start Page, in Firefox 26.0, on Windows!
    observed on:
    - Windows 7 x64 machine with 12GB RAM and high-performance CPU (core i7-920)
    - Virtual Machine guest running WinXP SP3 (in Oracle VirtualBox) on the same machine
    - Intel Atom D525 netbook with 4GB RAM, running Win7 x64
    Neither of these machines are connected via Sync or anything like that. The Firefox instance on the VM is a fresh/clean install.
    The problem:
    - 100% cpu usage for 10 seconds, memory usage (PF usage in XP) goes up to 1.7GB
    - if "about:home" is the Firefox Start Page, effectively it hangs the computer at Firefox startup for 10 seconds
    - if "about:home" is NOT the Firefox Start Page, startup is fine - BUT if I press the "home" button on the toolbar it loads "about:home" which causes the same issue again

    Thank you cor-el! Your suggestion has solved the problem on my WinXP VM which I was using to test, and I will soon confirm that it has also solved the problem on my primary Win7 desktop.
    To recap:
    - I set "browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl" to an empty string
    OLD VALUE: https://snippets.mozilla.com/%STARTPAGE_VERSION%/%NAME%/%VERSION%/%APPBUILDID%/%BUILD_TARGET%/%LOCALE%/%CHANNEL%/%OS_VERSION%/%DISTRIBUTION%/%DISTRIBUTION_VERSION%/
    NEW VALUE: (blank)
    - I deleted the folder \storage\persistent\moz-safe-about+home under the Profile directory
    Actual folder name on WINDOWS XP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<PROFILENAME>\storage\persistent\moz-safe-about+home
    However I have a concern that the '''OLD VALUE''' of "browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl" will creep back in, in a future update! Can you communicate this issue to someone on the development team?

    No. There are no known viruses that can affect an iPhone that has not been jailbroken.
    It may ave been copied unknowingly, but there is no virus involved.

    When I try to post a YouTube video as a status update on Facebook, only the link appears but no preview shot of the video like when I post from a computer. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using an iPhone 3GS if that matters and the newest Facebook app.

    Use the YouTube web app instead which includes an option to share a YouTube video via FaceBook which will include the preview.

  • How to Change the "Show" link appearance in all WebHelp Topics

    Hi there,
    I was wondering how to update the "Show" link in all of my help system topics.
    I selected the "Show Navigation Pane Link in topics" option when publishing my WebHelp project in Robohelp 9, and a "Show" link appears above my breadcrumbs that allows the user to get back to the TOC pane when they launch a Context Sensitive Help link from the application.
    This option is great - however, I would like to update the "Show" link to appear as a button, rather than a hyperlink. Is there a way to do this? I searched this forum but didn't come across anything, so I was hoping that someone out there could help me out with this.
    I have attached a screen shot of my help system with the "Show" link circled....this is what I would like to update to something else.
    Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks,
    Andrea

    Hi, Andrea
    You can change the text of the link fairly simply. But, I'm not aware of an out of the box solution to replacing that with a button. Perhaps Rick Stone has uncovered a hack in his Skinny on Skins that can offer a solution?
    He's at http://www.robowizard.com
    Meanwhile, if you want to change the Show text, here is the solution to that:
    1. File > Project Settings > Click the Advanced button
    2. Select the LNG tab
    3. Under the [Common] category scroll to Show=Show
    4. Edit the text after Show= to any text you like.
