Update Customer Phone No in DBM
Hi all, I've a situation which required/allow users from many Branches to do changes/update Customer Contact/Phone No permanently into the system.
My Boss dont allow them to used the t.Code XD02 or VD02 to make the changes where Customer Master Data are open to the users. Here I would like to know on how the users can update the Customer Phone No without allowing them to do modification on other Customer Master Details.

Jenny, as far as I understood you want to updated / change the customer phone no without using XD02 or in other wards you want to restrict user from using XD02.
So BAPI is one way and Also you can use LSMW to update the phone numbers for customers. but for both things you need help of ABAPer

After updating to Yosemite, my custom ringtones are no longer associated with particular contacts on my Mac. They seem to be in the right place in iTunes (ver. 12, updated at same time), and are still assigned to contacts on my iPhone (OS 8.1)--I haven't synched contacts, but I can't figure out how to get them re-assigned to specific contacts on the computer. when they're not there to be selected. These are a combination of purchased and GarageBand ringtones, and have been in use for years. Here's what I've tried:
In iTunes > Tones: Deselecting the ringtones, syncing (connected to mac). Then re-selcting and synching again. Ringtones are still visible on the iphone in Sounds, and in iTunes, but not available from within Contacts on the Mac.
Still in iTunes, used Get Info to identify where in Finder Tones are kept, which for me is: ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Tones/. Copied all of them, moved the originals to the trash. (Did not empty.) Restarted. Didn't make a difference. I put everything back.
I have had this problem once before with an OS upgrade or new iPhone, I'm not sure which, but the de-selecting/selecting had worked. Not this time, however. My mistake may have been to update to Yosemite before updating my phone to OS8.1, but that's the way it was presented to me, and I didn't realize it would matter. My preference is to sync my contacts. But this became de-selected during the update. (Other prefs changed, also, for example--I prefer local backup, and it defaulted to iCloud.)regarding the ringtones, i was able to set custom ringtones myself, but ever since i did that i get errors when synching my phone in the form that some app's dont work, have any of you had this problem?

Hello, i bought my phone a few days before leaving to france, i bought my phone from Korea (KT), when i try to update my phone, there's no update to make... i want to update my phone to V5, my software version is : V 10.4.101
my custom version is : 10.4.101.KT_8000_RED.01
Is there any solution...?
One more qustion: what is a custom version? and Can i change it?
thanks a lotKorean phones are country variants, and often will get the update late due to various circumstances with their country's laws governing cellphones which requires updates to be approved first before passing.
An example of one of Korea's laws which affect cellphone is a law they have on camera devices which does not allow the removal of shutter sounds.

I bought an HTC one 2/28/14. I had no trouble sending or receiving pictures with my texts. I had to update my phone 6/5/14 and since that time I cannot send or receive pictures in my texts. How can I fix that?
The thing is, before the update, I ALWAYS had my wifi on, and I had my mobile data off. Worked flawlessly until the update.

I developed an automated collection system program in one of our clients simulating FBE1 (Payment Advice Creation) and F-28 (Posting of Incoming Payments) transaction codes. Upon posting, we encountered an error in PRD server wherein, for some of the posted items, the STATUS field in our custom table was not successfully updated. We tried to reverse the clearing document and debug the program. Upon posting, we were able to successfully update the status. We could not simulate the error in QAS since all the postings in QAS were successful and all status' relating to these postings were updated as well. We tried posting multiple times and the program seems to be working fine. In PRD, this behavior is just random and there is no specific pattern as to how the error occured. Provided below is the code I used for updating custom table ZFIACSF28. The STATUS field should be equal to '4' once the posting is successful. We are not sure if this is a database related issue. 7 users are authorized to do the postings in PRD and they are using the same user account.

it's not possible that status isn't updated in zfiacsf28 while date and time are updated there, because it's hard coded.
There must be other programs that also change your table zfiacsf28 and maybe clear those fields. Maybe the key fields zor and customer cannot provide duplicate access, what is the meaning of field zor ?
Please check the where used list of table zfiacsf28 to find other update programs.

If you dont have none option then you must own itunes some money. So you have to enter the payment like a itunes giftcard. you can contact itunes by email by going to expresslane.apple.com

My itunes on my PC keeps telling me I need to update my phone to the latest 10.6.3 and according to my phone I have no new updates. This is preventing me from downloading music from my itunes to my iphone. Please help!
It is not telling you to update your iphone, it is telling you that you need to update itunes on your computer.

hello im trying to update my nokia n8 phone software it wont let me update it via the the phone it keeps telling me i need to update it via the pc so i downloaded the nokia ovisuite on my pc that im currently running on windows7 and it wont let me update it im currently on version (014.002) and theres an update i found in the sw update app in my applications folder on my phone for version (022.014) it says underneath the update name witch is N8-00 device software (use your pc to update) so i went to www.nokia.com/softwareupdate selected what modle my phone is downloaded the ovisuite and tried to update my phone it gets to (checking device support software is up to date) then come up with something went wrong restart you ovisyite and try again if the problem preseeds to happen then uninstall nokia ovisuite and download the latest version witch i did and still it gets to ( checking device support software is upto date) and come up again something went wrong i dunno what to do i would be very grateful if you can help me thanks

i want to update my phone, but i purchased many apps and music on the phone. it won't let me authorize my computer so i cannot update. i don't want to deauthorize all my computers. how can i find out which 5 computers i have authorized? also how can i update the software?
This is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. Can’t believe we have to do such a bass-ackwards kludge! -

I have an iphone 3G, and I am trying to update my phone to the 4.2.1 software, when I begin to update my phone it tells me that all the files have to be backed up on my computer first. The issue is my phone has been hooked up to my computer backing up my phone for 6 hours and still no update, in fact maybe 10% of my info from my phone is backed up after 6 hours???? So is it because my phone is so old or is it the number of apps??? I have updated my itunes and everything. How can I backup faster so I can update or will it just have to run its course, please HELP!!!

You need iTunes 10.0 or greater to update your phone...iTunes isn't confused at all. If you're on a Mac, you'll need OS X 10.5.8 or greater to update iTunes to 10.0 or greater.

I did update on phone and now it wont even turn on... It shows the charger being plugged into I tunes.... At this point I am not sure if I need to just do a factory reboot or what....AT this point I cant do anything through phone... It has to be done by my computer ... Anyone know how... Check for 'others' in iTunes against your iPhone.
Restore from a previous backup to reclaim some of it.

I updated my phone with the new iOS 7.0.2 and now it won't turn on. The screen says to connect to itunes and so I have. I have gone through the recovery mode and everything but a message saying the recovery was corrupted keeps popping up. I am scared this new update crashed my phone. Please Help!

it looks as though i have to download them all again because next to each song on both my phone and laptop there is a cloud with a red arrow.
i installed the itunes, then plugged my phone in and followed all the instructions- the itunes on my laptop shows all the songs but still has the cloud symbol
