Update fields from custom tab in selected lines in ME22N

Hello all,
I have implemented BAdis ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST & ME_GUI_PO_CUST and created a custom tab at the header level in ME21N/ME22N. I have fields such as Delivery Date and Ex Factory Date in my tab.
We are able to put data in these fields and have that data populate their respective fields in the Purchase Order.
Our users would like to be able to run ME22N and select certain line items and have only those items changed with the data from the custom fields.
So, my question is how do I handle line selection in the context of these BAdIs? Is there a way to know which lines have been selected and then only change the data in those items?
I have looked in Class CL_PO_ITEM_HANDLE_MM for an attribute or method that might help but I haven't found anything as of yet.
I have found that the field MEPO1211-TCSELFLAG is set when a line is selected in ME22N. However, I haven't found a way to work with it. It doesn't get passed to any of the methods in the BAdIs, as far as I know.

if you are sure that if with MEPO1211-TCSELFLAG this variable you can able to get,
even though it is not been passed to BADI, you can achieve it to get the variable.
Just try as follows,
DATA lv_head_ptr(30) VALUE '(SAPLMEGUI)MEPO1211'.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <l_MEPO1211> TYPE MEPO1211.
ASSIGN (lv_head_ptr) TO <l_MEPO1211>.
Now, <l_MEPO1211> will contain the structure of the MEPO1211.

We have requirement to move the field added using EEWB to details Tab in Lead transaction.Using EEWB I have included field in lead transaction.EEWB gegeration was successful and I am bale to see the field under Customer Fields Tab, however according to my business case we need the field under Details TAB.

Adding field from Custom Infotype in Screen Header-PA30

Hi all,
Can we add the fields from custom infotype to the screen header in PA30? When I tried through Change Screen Modifications, I could not see the custom infotype in the Infotype column, so I could not select the required field.
Please guide.

Hi,
When you take a drop down from the infotype column, you will see a window with infotypes. By default, it is restricted to 500 entries. To change that, click on the narrow bar under u201Crestrictionsu201D (has a downward arrow) and change the maximum number of hits to 999. You will then get all the infotypes including the custom ones.

Adding Form fields from Custom backend service in SAP_PA

Hi All,
I have defined a rule in the form scenario using a form field in my custom backend service. I want this rule to be used in the operation of the SAP_PA backend service.
In order to use the rule in SAP_PA, the field from the custom backend service(used in the rule definition) has to be assigned to SAP_PA as well. Unfortunately I am not able to assign it.
I have seen SAP delivered from scenarios (S_HR_PA_US_CHG_PERM_ADDR) where they have assigned fields from custom backend service to SAP_PA, Can you please guide me how to acheive this ??

We were able to capture the lines selected by using code from method mass_change in Include LMEGUICJK, Function Group MEGUI. The lines are in the lt_models table.
So, now my issue is getting data to save in ME22N. When I put data in my custom tabs and select a line, the data gets changed on the screen but does not save. It does work when I make a change in another field, like changing the description for instance. I'm using the set_changed method in Process_Header from ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST but it doesn't work.
I'm getting the idea that I'm the first ABAP developer to try this...

Update fields from Adobe Form to Table

Hello,
I want to integrate Adobe Form into Webdynpro ABAP Application in which I want to have 2 fields which need to be updated to a DB Table.
For this first I created an Interface in Transaction SFP , added 2 import parameters of type <Table Type>-<FieldName>. Then I created a Webdynpro Component created a new I Interactive Form UI Element and binded the Context of the Form to the Interface.
Then I added 2 fields to the form from Data View . Everything is fine but when I run the Webdynpro Application the fields are not available for Input.i.e. They are in the ReadOnly Mode.
The 'enabled' property of the Interactive Form is checked.
Please help.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi,
The process explained is ok, but I can explain you a better way.
1) Create the webDynpro Component first.
2) Create the context nodes as per the requirement.
3) From the 'integration' panel drag and drop the Interactive form UI element into the view.
4) Bind dataSource to root context node.
5) Check enabled property true.
6) Give a template source name (ZName).
7) On double clicking the template source, system will prompt you to enter the interface name. Map context node to the interface.
8) Interface gets created automatically and the lifecycle designer gets opened.
9) Goto the properties tab and give layout type as 'ZCI Layout'
10) Drag and drop required fields from the data view to the layout designer.
11) Insert webdynpro script from the Utilities
12) Edit -> Form Properties -> Defaults -> XDP Preview Format should be dynamic
13) Drag and drop 'Submit Button' from Library palette -> Webdynpro native controls
On clicking the submit button at runtime you will get the control in the webdynpro submit event.
Above all these you have to check with your basis team, that the 'usage credentials' have been applied while configuring the ADS. Go to SE38 and run the program 'FP_TEST_IA_01' and check whether it is giving an error message or not.

Need to add extra fields in Custom tab using EEWB.

I extended business partner with 10 custom fields using EEWB by creating an custom tab. I would like to add 2 more fields in the same custom tab . I am unable to find the provision to add new field to the existing project. so i am deleting the existing project and creating new project and adding all the =and new fields.
Now when I am creating new project i am loosing the old field names. It creating the new fields with new field names.
My requirement is I should create a new fields without changing the old field names.
So Please can any one help me as how to approach these without deletion or changing the existing field names.
Finally my custom tab should contain 12 fields.

Write fields from two tables in one line??

My report should like something like this:

I dont think u have got the issue,
I have a transaction varient for the std transaction. This varient is for the users who do not have access to the std transaction.
Usually when we do a save to the custom Tcode we go back to the main screen of the transaction varient, but here it is going to the main screen of the original transaction. i want the control to go to the transaction varient.

using SE80 you can add your fields with subscreens
SAPLXM06 0101 for Headerfields
SAPLXM06 0111 for Items.
This will add a tab in ME2..N.
if you want your own Text on the tabstrip just edit the Textsymbols
101 and 111 from SAPLXM06.
At output you have to open a module asking the gl_aktyp to switch edit/display mode.
then you must code the Exits to import/export values

Custom tab not reflecting in ME21N & ME22N

Hello,
I need to add an additional tab on the Header level of PO. I have implemented the BAdI ME_GUI_PO_CUST & ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST as specified in the sample example.
However, I'm unable to see the custom tab in ME21N & ME22N, whereas I can see the tab in ME23N. I have code in the method FIELDSELECTION_HEADER but it doesn't stop at breakpoints when I run ME21N & ME22N.
When I debug, I can see the breakpoints but the program never reaches them.
Thank you for any help on this and implementing these BAdIs in general. This is the first time I have worked with these BAdIs and it has proved to be very frustrating.

Copying of Shipping tab fields from Customer master to Sales Order.

Dear SAP SD Gurus,
I am trying to create an Order, but the Data in the Shippining tab of the Customer Master doesnt get Copied in to the Sales ORder.
the Fields in the Cuystomer master are 1) Partial delivery per item 2) Max. partial deliveries.
and this happens specifically for a particular Sales Area.
the same order when created with the same customer master but a Different Sales Area, the data gets Copied correctly.
can some body quickly advise me, if there is a Standard setting to maintian such a vehaviour or Could there be some "Z Developmet".

Check your customers (use tcode XD03 - provide sales area) the Shipping tab
1) Partial delivery per item
2) Max. partial deliveries.
for the Sales Area which is not copying to sales order.
If it is not maintained, then maintain the same as your requirement.

You can use substitution function. T.Code GGB2.
Create substitution under Financial Accounting> Line Item
Click Create Substitution : System will ask How would you like to substitute
field BSEG-ZUONR : Choose Field - Field Assignment : Choose the Field Assignment
Create Click Step : Prerequisities : Double Click ABAP System Fields > Double Click System Transaction Code > Click = > Click Constant tab > Give T.Code F-43 (for eg) save
Double Click Substitute Enter BKPF-DBBLG in the blank field and save.
Now Use T.Code : OBBH
Enter Company Code; Call Point 0002 Line Item fill substitution and activation level 1 save.
If you are an End User kindly advise your FICO Consultant to do that.
