Update Help please

Hi everybody,
I am getting ORA-01427 Single row subquery returns more than one row. basically SELECT statement is returning 2 rows . how to work with this query to update OPRID field ?
update PS_LM_PERSON_OPRID D set D.OPRID = (
SELECT A.OPRID
FROM PSOPRDEFN A , PS_LM_PERSON B , PS_LM_PERSON_OPRID C
where A.EMPLID = B.LM_HR_EMPLID
AND B.LM_PERSON_ID = C.LM_PERSON_ID
AND A.LASTSIGNONDTTM is not null
AND C.OPRID = ' ' ) ;
