Update lot of Condition Records

Hi experts,
I have to modify all condition records PREF with new zones. So I have to download all records for the condition PREF into a Textfile, change the GZOLX field (with the new zone) and transfer them into SAP.
I'm going to use LSMW, is it the best solution ?
If I use LSMW with Batch-Inputs, I have to create a map for each Textfile, right ?

you know how to use recordings?
and the steps are as u said, i hope i got u right:
1. create a file with the old data - file1
2. modify field GZOLX with the new values in file1 and save it as file2
3. and upload file2 using recording
still i dont think you need all these fields:
KAPPL - KSCHL- KOTABNR - WERKS - GZOLX - MATNR_01 - KBETR_01 - KONWA_01 - DATBI_01 - DATAB_01
i dont know what is what, but just take the field which uniquely identifies the condition record and the field you need to change. i have not worked with condition records much, so you know better what identifies it uniquely.

I have to maintain MRP for a product which will be applicable for only 1 particular order. after which system should pick up old MRP.
By using CONDITION UPDATE feature , i have tried to do it , but once maintained , its always picking new MRP for every order.
(If it being a record where only new price to be defaulted in one order and no need to create 2nd order , this is ok ., but not in my case)

Hi,
This can be done using the CONDITION UPDATE
In the condition type check the CONDITION UPDATE AND SAVE IT
While creating the CONDITION RECORDS, maintain the values and click ont he ADDITIONAL DATA (F7) then maintain the value in the field MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ORDERS , PUT The sales order as 1.

FM to create & update Shipment Cost Condition Records (TK11/12)

Hi All,
I am looking for a FM which can update Price and Validity dates in existing Shipment Cost condition records and also able to create a new shipment cost condition record.
I have tried using BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS. It returns a success message but no change in shipment cost condtion record
I have tried giving OPERATION = 009 to create new record and OPERATION = 004 to update existing one. But of no use.
Can i use any of the RV_CONDITION_* function modules
RV_CONDITION_MAINTENANCE
RV_CONDITION_COPY
If yes then what are the mandatory parameters I have to pass in.
Or else creating a BDC program for TK11/12 is the option.

I have used the BAPI 'BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS' . In my requirement there was no need to update the scale.

Mass update for message condition records

Hello all,
with Transaction NACE we maintained thousands of message condition records.
Now we have to change for all this message condition records the "Number of Messages" (Table NACH Field ANZAL).
Is there a mass change Option available or is there a function module we could use?

i think you want to change All condition records of some condition type In NACE , you want to change Date and Time ex:

Yes it is possible in NACE T.code level only
So here Give What is Your application like V2
Now click on condition record and Just go to change mode And give application V2 Example
after this change Date here it will applicable to all condition type what ever in your V2 Application and all condition type
Apart from This i thing some Function Module May be there but i cant recall

Hello Everyone,
I would like to know if any of you have worked on the following scenario,
a) Whenever you make an update to a condition record in VK12, we need to send an email informing the relevant person about the change.
We have been suggested that we can use actions instead of workflow.
I would appreciate it if anyone of you could help with this issue.

In standard SAP functionality it is not there either you can restrict or set authorisation, If you are looking for this function look for exits.

Condition Update and Condition Record

Hi Friends
We have maintained Condition record validity and same will be used for u201CCondition updateu201Dfeature.
Condition Update says that Condition record to be executed only first 10 orders for one customer as per our configuration and from 11th order on ward new condition record to be triggered automatically.
Note: we are not sure that how long customer will take time to finish first 10 orders.
So kindly let me know if there is any way to resolve above mentioned issue.

How to update cost related condition type amount in sales order without disturbing other condition types.

How to updae only one item condition ZYV0 value in sales order. If I can see we have several options from pricing type to update condition types but here My requirement is to update only one condition amount .If I can see other pticing types they will update all condition types .
-Exclusive option is checked for all the tables maintained in access sequence,
Below options were not worked for me.
-In condition type ----> Condition category has been updated with "D"(Tax) pricing type-"G" to update in sales order
- This option worked for me but condition category "F"(frieght) and pricing type -H but in conditions tab when I update two condition amounts are activated for one condition type like below.
ZYV0--30 % (old condition record value updated in sales order)
ZYV0- 50% (updated condition record)

Tried with condition category "u" and updated with pricing type "U" . It works as same I used old logic.
with condition categories "D" and "F" it will update old and new condition record values in sales order.
ZYV0--30 % (old condition record value updated in sales order)
ZYV0- 50% (updated condition record)
I have updated here existing condition record value from 30 % to 50 % validity periods are not changed.

Is there any function module to update the internal condition record for both Purchasing(MEK2) as well as SD condition records(VK12).
My requirement is to update the price and price unit in the gross price condition(PB00) and sales price condition (VKP0).

yes you can use he sam module for both conditions:
Function module RV_CONDITION_COPY
paramertes MAINTANI_MODE - 'A' Create; 'B' change
there is no possibility to delete a condition
COMMIT WORK and
Afterwards call RV_CONDITION_RESET to initiailize all global data of condition maintenace.

Through BDC or LSMW first you have to do the recording for particular transaction code and then base on that u have to prepare the flat file to upload the file for the same.
For BDC programing you have to take the help of ABAP progmer but LSMW you can also do.

How to update purchase order when creating a new condition records

Hi,
We have the system configured so that whenever we update a condition record, a change pointer is generated. Then we the use of standard reports RMEBEIN4 and RMEBEIN, all open purchase order having that condition type is updated. However this only works when we update existing condition record. When we create a new condition record, this does not work even though the change pointer is created. Do the reports mentionned above works for the this case or another standard report that should be trigger.

May be this is working for the conditions already existing in the info record for the PO's. so when you have new condition record it updates only after you amend the PO with that condition and save it.

Values not updating in Condition records

Hi All,
Small question for you all -
We have a condition record for TAX (ZVAT) this has three access sequences on it, one of these feilds for access is the HT (OIHANTYP),
Nowe the problem is when HT = 01 then Vat should be calculated at the correct rate of which it does, but when you change the HT code to 02 then the Condition does not update, the only way around this is to carry out new pricing not ideal,
Also if after changing the HT code and saving the order the order still does not update.
Just as a side we also use scales and this works fine, if you amned the qty up then the rate chages automatically with these adjustments, it only seems to be when we change the HT that this problem occurs.
Also just notice we are also using split valuation items, so also the batch needs to be maintained, if you get the right combination of Batch and HT then the condition updates all o, any ideas where this maybe set?

Option for entry of preconditions for carrying out pricing again (e.g. changes made to a certain item field could be used as the precondition for pricing to be carried out again).
USEREXIT_NEW_PRICING_VBKD
Option for entry of preconditions for carrying out pricing again (e.g. changes to the customer group or price group could be set as the preconditions for the system to carry out pricing again).

Updating condition records in an outbound delivery

Hi,
I'm trying to update condition records in an outbound delivery but couldn't find any suitable BAPI for the same so I just implemented the BADI 'le_shp_delivery_proc' and called a FM inside the method SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE' which does a call transaction to VL02N to update the condition records. But the problem now is that, when I try to save this delivery, again the same BADI is triggered and goes through the same process of call transaction and thus gives me an error message that the delivery is locked as it indeed is.
Can somebody suggest a way out of this problem. ??

@praveen: I tried the solution provided by you and it worked for me in this context. But it seems this BADI gets triggered every time the delivery is getting saved. So for my test purposes, I'm triggering this BADI in a program, but in actual scenario, the BADI would be called on every sy-ucomm = 'SICH_T' i.e. SAVE. hence, I can't separate my piece of code using this condition.
I'm trying to call my FM(update module in collective run mode) inside this BADI in backgrnd task as a separate unit but this doesn't seem to work.
Any more suggestions?

For a material , the price in the condituion record is maintained as below.But in the info record the value is showing as 14 , instead of 10 at present.

Update SO after creating missing condition record

Hi Gurus,
I was getting error message that missing MWST condition in Order, then I investigated and created missing condition record in VK11. Now I would like to update the Sales order and tried update tab on condition but invain.
Initially the document was created on 17.11.2008 and today condition record was created 18.11.2008.
Kindly help me in resolving this.

Dear Bawa,
While creating Condition Record "MWST" in VK11/ 12;
What were the Dates maintained in Fields:
1. Valid From (try with back-date maintenance)
2. Valid To (Maintain as 31.12.9999)
Once done, try to Update with "G - Copy pricing elements unchanged and redetermine taxes", in Sales Order.
