Hi everyone!
I am newby to ABAP, so hopefully I count on your help
In my report, I start from reading a database and outputing the content to a list (this is my screen 0). I have a nice header on this list.
Then I perform some data manipulation (adding/deleting/modifing records) via screen 100.
In PAI, I make changes to the database and commit. Afterwards I return to screen 0.
Now I would like the output on screen 0 updated (i.e. new entries should appear on the list).
Please, give me a hint how to manage that.

Your idea is called "recurency", I guess. I wasn't sure if it is possible in ABAP, but fortunately it is. First I was affraid that SUBMIT opens another session and can not be efficient. Then I found the issue in an ABAP guide (<i>Sap Bc Abap Programming - 1540 Pages</i>). Below I put the information for those who may ask the same question in the future.
<b>Memory Organization in Program Calls</b>
The first ABAP program in a session on the application server opens its own internal session (roll area) within the main session. All externally-called procedures [Page 451] run in the same internal session as the calling program, that is, the main program and working data of the procedure are loaded into the same memory area in the internal session. When you call an executable program or a transaction, the system opens a new internal session for each program. Here, there are two possible cases: If the second program does not return
control to the calling program when it has finished running, the called program replaces the calling program in the internal session. The contents of the memory of the calling program are deleted. If the second program does return control to the calling program when it has finished running, the session of the called program is not deleted. Instead, it becomes inactive, and its memory contents are placed on a stack. The system can open up to 9 further internal sessions in external program calls. See also Memory Structures of an ABAP Program [Page 66].

HT201210 I have tried to update to IOS6 and it has prompted me to connect to ITunes but when I do I keep getting the message ' There is no sim card inserted in the Iphone you are trying to activate'. My phone is now locked on the IOS6 update screen!

I have been without mu IPhone 4 since yesterday now as I tried to do the IOS6 update and since then it has messed up my phone and I am unable to access any of it's functions as it is locked on the update screen.
My phone was bought through Vodfone and have been on their network ever since, never had any problems like this.
It prompts me to connect to ITunes and when I do it will not go any further as stating 'No sim card is inserted in the IPhone you are trying to activate'. Well there is a sim in there and I have removed it and reinserted it on many occasions today. I am also not trying to activate my phone as all I did was try to the update which I was prompted to do in my setting!
I have seen many people on the net today with the same or similar problems but as yet I am to find a solution!
Help, please as it is driving me crazy!!!

Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message.

I can no longer update my apps on my IPhone 4 because I have a new e-mail account. When I try to update with my Apple ID the e-mail that shows up on the screen is my old e-mail address and since I once shared that with another person I no longer know the Apple ID for that particular e-mail.
How do I change the old e-mail address and keep it from showing up on my apps update screen? I have deleted the old e-mail account from my phone.

How do you get rid of the pending update from app store updates screen?

I own an 64GB iPad 2+3G. The App Store icon has a red circle with a number 3 in it. That means I have 3 updates pending.
I tried to download the updates to Pandora and Kindle using 3G at first. It did not work. I assumed it was because it was over 20 MB.
(I did not try the Vegas Towers one.) I went to the library and it still would not download via their wifi.
The description of the updates mention the retina display of the new iPad (3). Is that the cause of the download problem? I have already downloaded the iOS 5.1 at the library. Well, it is not that big a deal for me if I don't get the updates. But how do I get rid of the pending updates? How do I get rid of that little red circle? Also, I have not been able to use the Pandora or Kindle apps. They just keep saying waiting. I got boxes that said download failed and offering choice of done or retry. Since nothing happens, I chose done. So, I cannot update my apps, and in the meantime I cannot use the apps because the downloads stalled. I would like to abort the downloads and get rid of the updates from the update screen. I want to be able to use the apps again. Can anyone provide a solution? Thanks!

The problem has been resolved for me. I am a little fuzzy on how it got fixed.
I only have 3G, so I think I went to the library to use wi-fi.
I think I just deleted the stuck apps, and the downloaded them again. You do not have to pay again when you download a previously purchased app.
It is now August, and fortunately I have not had any stuck apps lately.
As you may already know, you cannot download an app over 20 MB via 3G.
I have the Kindle app also. No new updates lately. I only bought one thing using Kindle. It was a guide to iPad that was only $1.99 or so, but it did not really have anything that cannot be found in normal free Apple guide.
I have borrowed an ebook from the library using Overdrive app. You can choose the ebook version from Kindle.
I don't have any weather apps.

Have reformatted my Imac using original discs (installed leopard (10.5)) tried to do the software update but it cant download the itunes update and when it gets to the configure update screen after restart for main update, it just gets stuck. HELP!

The configure bar gets about an 1/8 full and then just does nothing. I think its lists the update as combo update? cant remember with out checking.
I have tried to do the disk verify and repair but this has made no difference.
Please let me know what i need to do, I have reformatted the mac just to start over as was clogged with a lot of useless data, I had installed lion (10.7) from the app store previously and now cant seem to find a way to re install lion. I hope I dont need to pay for it again?

If you erased your hard drive, you'll need to reinstll OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard to access the App store. You won't have to pay for OS X 10.7 Lion again. Did you try booting to the recovery partition by holding the command and r keys down? If that's still there, you can reinstall OS X 10.7 from there.
If you're looking to install the current iTunes, you need OS X 10.6.8 at a minimum.
If you're still trying to update OS X 10.5 Leopard, you can download the combo update from here. Download, use Disk Utility to repair permissions, apply the update, then repair permissions again. That will take you to OS X 10.5.8.

There are a number of other threads from people reporting a problem with a blank Updates tab in the App Store app - it looks like there is a problem at Apple's end which they need to fix.
Some posts are suggesting that you if you go into the Purchased tab in the App Store app you might be able to update the apps from there, though you will need to scroll through the list to find those with updates and individually update them.

In the App Store on my iPad and iPhone the updates screen has gone squiffy.
When I have updates pending they say open on the button and not install. When I click it, it opens the app instead of installing the update and the badges for the updates will not go away.

Yes. When you do a restore, it will erase everything that is currently on your iphone and put everything you had from your last backup back onto your iphone. BTW, you could always redownload your paid apps for free.

To delete individual apps, hold onto the icon until it wiggle. You should see an "x" on the top. Just hit the "x", You cannot, however, delete apps that Apple put on the iphone. Those apps will not have an "x".

IPad2 - IOS 8.0.2 - Available Updates Screen Doesn't Refresh

Just took my IPad2 which was already running slow after the 8.0 update to 8.0.2
So far things seem okay but I have three App updates which have synced to the IPad2 but when you go into the Available Updates screen they all have the OPEN button across from the App description and Update All in the upper left hand corner of the screen is grayed out.
This was not an issue in 8.0
Anyone else seeing this and/or have a fix?

IOs8 slowed and glitched many Apple devices from newer iPhones to the ipad2. My iPad suffered connectivity issues, and odd mail and airplane mode problems. The 8.0.2 patch was just released, and I made the error of installing it. USE CAUTION if you do this. My iPad2 crashed while installing the patch for the troublesome ios8 and is now frozen in recovery mode. I do not have an Apple computer to synch it to, thus negating the restore mode / iTunes option. It won't accept a hard reset. I have a cloud backup but without a USB / lightning cord and a computer synched to my ipad2 I cannot solve this. Apple support is closed, and in any case will charge a fee to simply open a service *conversation* with no guarantee it will solve the issue. I am sadly disappointed in Apple for this rollout, especially in light of their recent problems regarding security and neglecting known issues.

The update server is down; try this temporary workaround
App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: Look out for apps that have the word "Update"

A few weeks ago we submitted updates for our 8 apps on iTunes. When we submitted the apps we added updated screen shots to the version of the app that was in review. We just found out that all of our screen shots on iTunes were updated over a week ago for our existing apps, but our update has not been approved yet. We did not update the screen shots for the version of our app that is "Ready for Sale". Is this a bug in iTunes Connect? Is this something we should not have done? It looks like you can add new screen shots for your updated app since iTunes Connect makes a copy of your app for the update. Were we supposed to wait until after our app gets approved to update the screen shots?

Unfortunately the only thing that is tiemd with your update is the separate update changes text.
All other text and images are updated within a day so anyone making big updates needs to either:
1. Update manually after they notice their update is now live. Downside is there will be some people who view the listing before your changes are made.
2. Post the update photos and include a large note that this is for the coming update that is still being approved. Users can buy the current version and get all the features of the new version for free when it's approved.
As you've noted people may be downloading your current app thinking they're getting the features now shown, which will be frustrating for them.

After latest update, screen sharing broken

Installed the iPhoto, Supplemental 10.7.3 update, and, iTUnes update on March 10. Since then, screen sharing to a headless Mac no longer works properly.
What happens is it runs, but, screens no longer update properly. For example, you can't scroll in Safari, UNLESS you resize the Safari window, it's really strange. Video doesn't play, it freezes, again, unless you resize the video player window.
This has happened on all 3 macs that were updated. All 3 are headless, no display attached. One is a OSX Server.
Anyone else with the latest updates screen sharing a headless Mac with this issue?

App updates are not removed after installing in update screen of iPhone and iPad

Whenever there is an update for an app, the same is displayed in the update screen of the App Store in both iPhone and iPad. After downloading and installing the patch, the app is not removed from the update screen. In earlier iOS versions, the same gets removed and only the pending apps for update remain.
Questions:
Is this a bug?
Will this not increase the update screen list of patch updates over time?
Why are the updated patches not removed from the update screen?

This is not a bug.
The updated apps will start disappearing after about two weeks (on a first in first out basis)

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

Close the App Store app, double click the home button, press and hold the App Store icon until it wiggles, press the X, open the App Store app again and you should see your updates.
