Update the path, Please HELP !!

Hi, I know this has been widely described in a Help section, but It does not work for me.
Os = Windows 2000
I set the path in control panel, system, advanced, Environment Variables, I click New in User Variables, I put javac in Variable and C:\Program Files\Jdk1.2.2\bin in Variable value.
Then in the command promt, I type javac helloworld.java and I got the message "Javac is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Where did I get it wrong ? I have only one Java, jdk1.2.2, I'm also using the Opera browser that had previously installed jdk1.3, but I uninstalled it.

Classpath is used for finding the Library files (.class files) while path is used for finding the executables(.exe .bat .com etc..)
Now the problem the poster had was that he was not able to execute the "java.exe". For this to happen, he needs "java.exe" which is under <jdk_home>/bin directory to be in the Path.
Thats why jsalnoen and me have given him that suggestion. You may suggest why classpath needs to be setup for executing java.exe
By the way, I dont think you need to reboot the machine after setting the Path. Just close and reopen your dos command prompt window.

It sounds like you actually have a 2G iPod Touch which can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. If it's an 8 GB iPod Touch it's definitely a 2G iPod Touch as there was never such a thing as a 3G 8 GB iPod Touch. See this article to help verify what generation iPod Touch you have.

Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

And then tell the story of your problem that you originally included and your follow-up efforts to restore given a suggestion on previous post (though I think you SHOULD AVOID RSTORE if you can.) Yes. You can't update or restore any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone. The sim card need not be activated, but it must be valid & present. If you want to update, you need to get a sim card.

Try unsyncing the sone and then resyncing. That works sometimes. Sometimes restoring from backup works. Other times nothing seems to work.. Yuo are not alone since iOS5 and iTunes 10.5/6.

You can only update via the ipod with ios 5 or later.
You need to update via itunes on your computer as always.

Assuming that you mean iCloud (I don't know what you mean 'issuance of the two is the seventh kind'), then when are you being asked for it and is it your iCloud account's password that you are being asked for or did you buy the phone second-hand ? If it's a used phone and the previous owner left it linked to their account then you will need to contact the previous owner, only they can remove it from their account : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515

The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

What version of iPhoto are you using? 9.6 is the current version.
Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.iPhoto.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

1.I have multiple record block,i need to update the textarea field in this multi entry block.I have put a for loop to achieve the same,however i'm able to update the path for text field,checkbox,selecttype,but am unable to update the path for field which is of textarea.Please suggest.
2. Also i have another problem which occurs randomly.although i have record for a button click event in my property file,button click is not happening during the playback.am getting error asVariable "obj.libraryname.web_button_BTN_1" not found for string:
please not i have entry for the above button in my property file.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

It would appear that your system is somewhat mangled, and it is time for some general 'servicing'.
Start here:
Repairing permissions is important, and should always be carried out both before and after any software installation or update.
Go to Disk Utility (this is in your Utilities Folder in your Application folder) and click on the icon of your hard disk (not the one with all the numbers).
In First Aid, click on Repair Permissions.
This only takes a minute or two in Tiger, but much longer in Leopard.

If you were having any serious problems with your Mac you might as well complete the exercise by repairing your hard disk as well. You cannot do this from the same start-up disk. Reboot from your install disk (holding down the C key). Once it opens, select your language, and then go to Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Select your hard disk as before and click Repair.
Once that is complete reboot again from your usual start-up disk.

First we need to know which one of the 9 different models of MacBook you have. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you’re running 10.7 Lion). When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody and the Late 2009 model 6,1 and Mid 2010 model 7,1 White Unibody have a Mini DisplayPort. The Early 2006 model 1,1 through Early 2008 model 4,1s plus the Early and Mid 2009 model 5,2s have Mini-DVI ports. Each would take a different adapter to connect with the TV.
