If you want to download GOS file then you need to use fm SO_OBJECT_DOWNLOAD instead of SO_DOCUMENT_INSERT
and in sap we have standard program to do this

  • Problems while uploading text documents into Unicode Database

    I just upgraded our database from 9iR1 to 9iR2 (9.2.0.1.0). The server
    character set is AL32UTF8. Now I'm facing a problem when
    uploading text documents into the database via a web frontend.
    I use the upload table defined for the PL/SQL Database Access Descriptor:
    create table TB_UPLOAD (
    NAME VARCHAR2(256) not null,
    MIME_TYPE VARCHAR2(128),
    DOC_SIZE NUMBER,
    DAD_CHARSET VARCHAR2(128),
    LAST_UPDATED DATE,
    CONTENT_TYPE VARCHAR2(128),
    BLOB_CONTENT BLOB);
    After uploading a text document containing the two words "hallo welt",
    the following statement returns not "hallo welt", but "68616C6C6F2077656C74":
    declare
    b_loc blob;
    v_amount integer := 100;
    v_buffer varchar2(100);
    v_offset integer := 1;
    begin
    select blob_content into b_loc from tb_upload where name like 'mydoc.txt';
    dbms_lob.read(b_loc, v_amount, v_offset, v_buffer);
    htp.prn(v_buffer);
    end;
    What is this? I studied the documentation, but didn't found a solution.
    When trying to use Oracle's built-in procedure wpg_docload.download_file,
    the content is shown the way it should be. Unfortunately, I can't use
    wpg_docload.download_file in order to copy the BLOB content to another table.
    Any hints would be appreciated!
    Thanks so much in advance!

    Hi Roman,
    the upload uses a BLOB (Binary Lob). Your Document is
    stored as is in the binary representation. If you
    use dbms_lob.read on a blob and your buffer is a varchar2 the binary representation is not translated!!!
    use a raw for the buffer and utl_raw.cast_to_varchar2
    to do the conversion to varchar.
    try this
    Procedure SHOW_DOC(p_name doc_test.name%TYPE)
    IS
    v_len number;
    v_mime_type tb_upload.mime_type%TYPE;
    v_offset integer := 1;
    v_Buf_size integer := 32767;
    v_buf raw(32767);
    v_blob blob;
    v_Doc_name varchar2(1000);

  • "There was a problem uploading a document"

    Went into icloud.com from Safari on my Mac Pro, and dragged a 57Mb Pages 09 document to iWork so I could get to it from my iPad 2, but partway through the upload (and at a somewhat random point, I might add), it fails with this message:
    "There was a problem uploading a document.  Please try again."
    What's going on here?  A more detailed error message would be helpful, but instead I get this opaque pop-up.  Tried multiple times, both drag-and-drop and just selecting the file to upload...no luck.

    might, might not..
    In reality the complete "documents in the cloud" marketing blah is just pointless. It works to some degrees, but it has flaws and issues all over.
    For example : document upload from within iOS iwork gets stuck in the uploading process, staying days long in that state - not syncing to the cloud.
    Or like you experience upload from Desktop to the web gets stuck or fails.
    The most serious "bug" yet discovered : Documents on open randomly delete themself righ from your iOS device with no way of recovering them from the device or from the cloud. Gone forever.
    And then of course the fact that iwork09 from Mac cannot sync to icloud at all. The whole Web-Browser thing is just not what one would expect from Apple products working hand in hand..
    So yes, iTunes local transfer to PC/Mac is the only "safe" method . But then again we didi exactly this in iOS4 with no icloud at all..
    For Mail,Adresses and Contacts the cloud works beautiful to me - but that's about it.

  • Uploading Multiple Documents To a List Item sharepoint 2010

    hi Guys ,
    Is there a way we can enable (out of the box )Uploading Multiple Documents To a List Item sharepoint 2010 ?
    cheers

    No, There is no OOB way to do the same you have to build a custom Page/Control OR customise OOB Form to attache multiple files and that will be through integration of ajax based control (multiple file uploader.)
    the other way to do the same is provision a custom field. we have done this for our many  clients.
    Hi, I also encountered the same problem, could u pls provide detailed information by a custom field?

  • When trying to upload a document or attach a document in an email Firefox gives me an error "Failed to load CTDFMRES.dll" and stops responding, I have no issues in any other browsers. And I am using Firefox 4, Fixes???

  • "Function code cannot be selected" error while uploading a document.

    Hi,
    When we try to upload a document into SAP the user is getting the error "Function code cannot be selected". Detailed error is given below. Only one user is facing this error in PRD. For all other users it is working fine. We replicated the same issue in testing systems and it is working fine there with the same user's id.
    The detailed error is,
    No batch input data for screen SAPLF040 0300
    Message no. 00344
    Diagnosis
    The transaction sent a screen that was not expected in the batch input session and which therefore could not be supplied with data.
    Possible reasons:
    1. The batch input session was created incorrectly. The sequence of screens was recordly incorrectly.
    2. The transaction behaves differently in background processing in a batch work process than when running in dialog (SY-BATCH is queried and changes the screen sequence).
    3. The transaction has undergone user-specific Customizing and therefore certain screens may be skipped or processed differently, according to the current user. If the person who created a batch input session is not the same as the person now processing it, this problem may occur frequently.
    System Response
    None.
    Procedure
    For 1: Either re-create the session or process it in expert mode. Correct the batch input program.
    For 2. It is very difficult to analyze this problem, particularly in the case that the screen sequence or the display-only options of fields differ according to whether the transaction is being processed in the background or as an online dialog. It could also be that this kind of transaction cannot run with batch input.
    For 3: Have the creator of the session process it. If no error occurs now, then this is a program with user-specific Customizing.

    Hi Amar,
    I am facing the same issue while processing Vendor master inbound idocs, Few Idocs gone in error with error message "Function code cannot be selected".
    Could you please suggest any solution found for the same.

  • Uploading the document giving error in CV01n transaction

    Hi All,
       I created one content repository in ECC 5.0, when i was created that time it was giving the error http 401..etc. I solved it by entering the Content server Administrator username and password.
    After creating the content repository, i am trying to upload the document using the transztion cv01n in xls format.It is giving the following error Error while checking in and storing: C:\Documents and Settings\Sridhar\Desktop\DailyChecking.xls Message no. 26253..
    Is there any wrong in that configuration or what?
    Can i have solution for this problem?  Please let me know...
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sridhar M.

    Hi Sridhar
    The path in dc20 C://abc is the path where the temporary files wud be stored..
    For example, when u double click a checked in document, it will open the file and a temporary file would be created in the path mentioned in dc20 against data carrier PC..
    The path mentioned is the area where these temporary file should be stored while u process an original application file..
    If u dont want any temporary files to be stored in ur desktop, simply do not put anything in the path..

  • How to upload a document with values related to document properties in to document set at same time using Javascript object model

    Hi,
          Problem Description: Need to upload a document with values related to document properties using custom form in to document set using JavaScript Object Model.
        Kindly let me know any solutions.
    Thanks
    Razvi444

    The following code shows how to use REST/Ajax to upload a document to a document set.
    function uploadToDocumentSet(filename, content) {
    appweburl = decodeURIComponent(getQueryStringParameter('SPAppWebUrl'));
    hostweburl = decodeURIComponent(getQueryStringParameter('SPHostUrl'));
    var restSource = appweburl +
    "/_api/SP.AppContextSite(@target)/web/GetFolderByServerRelativeUrl('/restdocuments/testds')/files/add(url='" + filename + "',overwrite=true)?@target='" + hostweburl + "'";
    var dfd = $.Deferred();
    $.ajax(
    'url': restSource,
    'method': 'POST',
    'data': content,
    processData: false,
    timeout:1000000,
    'headers': {
    'accept': 'application/json;odata=verbose',
    'X-RequestDigest': $('#__REQUESTDIGEST').val(),
    "content-length": content.byteLength
    'success': function (data) {
    var d = data;
    dfd.resolve(d);
    'error': function (err,textStatus,errorThrown) {
    dfd.reject(err);
    return dfd;
    Then when this code returns you can use the following to update the metadata of the new document.
    function updateMetadataNoVersion(fileUrl) {
    appweburl = decodeURIComponent(getQueryStringParameter('SPAppWebUrl'));
    hostweburl = decodeURIComponent(getQueryStringParameter('SPHostUrl'));
    var restSource = appweburl +
    "/_api/SP.AppContextSite(@target)/web/GetFolderByServerRelativeUrl('/restdocuments/testds')/files/getbyurl(url='" + fileUrl + "')/listitemallfields/validateupdatelistitem?@target='" + hostweburl + "'";
    var dfd = $.Deferred();
    $.ajax(
    'url': restSource,
    'method': 'POST',
    'data': JSON.stringify({
    'formValues': [
    '__metadata': { 'type': 'SP.ListItemFormUpdateValue' },
    'FieldName': 'Title',
    'FieldValue': 'My Title2'
    'bNewDocumentUpdate': true,
    'checkInComment': ''
    'headers': {
    'accept': 'application/json;odata=verbose',
    'content-type': 'application/json;odata=verbose',
    'X-RequestDigest': $('#__REQUESTDIGEST').val()
    'success': function (data) {
    var d = data;
    dfd.resolve(d);
    'error': function (err) {
    dfd.reject(err);
    return dfd;

  • Uploading External Documents (*.doc, *.pdf, *.html) using JSP, Servlets, JDBC

    I would like to upload external documents to an Oracle 8.16 db without using agents or interMedia.
    Documents can range from *.doc, *.pdf, *.html and so forth. Ive been all over OTN and all I keep finding are examples on uploading Audio, Video or Image data - which is fine.. but damn, can we get a couple "Real World" examples in there?
    Im even looking at iWorkplace which is excellent.. but a little out of my league when it comes to uploading external documents. But that's exactly what Id like to do. The documentation on this issue is very scarce - Please help.
    Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Many Thanks in Advance.

    Is anyone having problems loading text files using this routine? I can load a file with this, but even though the table contains a CLOB, the file is uploaded as binary and one only sees a series of question marks when looking at the CLOB. So, basically, the file appears to be converted somehow from text to binary. Any thoughts? I'm using 8.1.6.0.0 on Sun Solaris 2.7. character set in the database is UTF8.
    Thanks.

  • STSUPLD.DLL not recognizing as an add-on; upload multiple documents disabled

    On my client system, Windows XP, Office 2007 and IE8 is installed. It is a 32 bit system. On the Sharepoint site, "upload multiple document" feature is disabled. After searching for the cause, I came to know about the STSUPLD add-on that needs
    to be enabled otherwise it remains greyed out. So I copied the DLL file to C:/.../Office12/STSUPLD.DLL
    IE does not detect any add-on when I start a new browser session. Between copying the DLL, and starting a new browser session, followed by checking Tools-->manage add-ons, am I missing an important step? (like installing...etc.)
    Thanks

    easy way is, if you can install the Office client on the server, the control will be available.

  • Error message when uploading- but document still uploads

    Hi,
    Over the past few days I've gotten an error message when uploading a document to my SharePoint site (O365/ 2013). All the error message says is "Sorry, something went wrong. An unexpected error has occurred." The correlation ID is 379ed19c-706a-1000-a3f3-e1860141685e
    The strange part is that the document still uploads fine. So there's no obstruction of the workflow or anything, but something still changes in the back end.
    Is this occurring to anybody else?

    The process of uploading a document involves a number of steps.  The upload may go fine, but fail when it tries to update metadata or check the document in.  You need to track down that correlation ID in the ULS logs to get the specific step that
    is failing.  Here's a Blog post on how to find the error in the log.

  • Help Required - Upload Multiple Documents functionality sometimes disappears in SharePoint 2010

    Hi All,
    We have a web application created in SharePoint 2010 & there we were facing an issue of not able to Upload multiple documents. After doing search on google, we have found that
    pre-requisites for this functionality to be working properly are as follows:
    Client Integration needs to be enabled for the web application.
    The STSUpld.UploadCtl IE add-in must be enabled. (located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12)
    The 32 bit version of Internet Explorer. The 64 bit version does not support it and neither do other, non IE, browsers.
    Office 2003 or newer on the client.
    After meeting all the above requirements, We are now able to see the Upload Multiple Documents link but we are failing in below 2 scenarios:
    On some machines it is working fine & on some it is not.
    On some machines, this option is available for sometime & sometimes it disappears.
    If any one of you have experienced the same problem, then please help us with your valuable suggestions & possible solution for it.

    Hi Manish,
    We've just been experiencing your initial issue with Office 2007 clients not being able to use the multi-file upload functionality.  Sure enough....turning on presence information in Central Admin fixes the issue.  The strange thing is though that
    when presence is turned off, Office 2003 and 2010 clients still work fine and it's only 2007 clients that fail.  Also this issue appeared to only exist for us inside applications that have been upgraded from MOSS2007 to SP2010.  Any new applications
    of even new site collections within an upgraded application worked fine across all 3 Office versions.
    Coincidently, we're also experiencing the more recent issue you've come across with files not uploading after clicking OK in the ActiveX.  Nothing happens.  Office 2010 clients work fine but 2003 and 2007 clients just don't upload the selected
    files.  We've found a workaround which "fixes" the issue but brings it's own set of problems so it's not ideal.  Here's what we've done...
    1. Open IIS, and navigate to the web where you want to use multi-file upload
    2. Select Handler Mappings and Add Script Map
    3. Set Request Path - shtml.dll
    4. Set Executable - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\ISAPI\SHTML.dll
    5. Set the name to something meaningful - Multi File Upload
    6. Leave the Request Restrictions as default
    This should fix the issue with files not uploading but unfortunately it also prevents SharePoint Designer from accessing the site.  For the application where we desperately need multi-file upload we can manage without SPD access so it's not the end
    of the world but not ideal.  We've actually got an outstanding incident logged with Microsoft to resolve this issue but they've yet to find a solution for us.  We suggested to MS that we update authentication to Kerberos from NTLM and retry as we
    seem to be getting 401 errors in the call stack so thought that could be related.  We've not yet configured Kerberos so I'm not sure whether this is a solution or not.
    One other point worth mentioning is that SharePoint Designer 2010 (which is free) installs the latest version (14) of the Upload ActiveX and with this installed the uploads work as expected.  Also if you have Silverlight and SPD2010 installed then you
    get a Silverlight control to do the upload which also works fine.  Again, not ideal as rolling out SPD 2010 to affected clients isn't really a suitable solution.
    Sorry I can't be any more help.  Hopefully my findings might point you in the right direction.  If you do find a solution (other than the IIS handler mapping) then please re-post here,
    Good luck,
    Ben

  • Just upload single documents from iPhone to iCloud

    Hello,
    I use pages and numbers on iOS a lot. My problem is that ALL documents are uploaded in iCloud.
    In general that's good, because I can edit them on all my devices.
    But in some cases I won't upload a document.
    So, the question is:
    Is it possible to select specific documents, so that these will NOT upload in the cloud?
    Thanks
    Spidey

    Sorry, that isn't possible.
    If you have any suggestions that you think might enhance iCloud you can send Apple your feedback here.
