Uploading in internal table through upload function

Hi friends,
I am facing problem while uploading a data from flat file. It is in text format. data writen in file do not follows tabs instead of it there is a spaces between two words in the row.
While uploading through upload FM the data is fetch by the first field only (it takes whole row as a string).

If u are using GUI_UPLOAD, then just use the separator paramter (HAS_FIELD_SEPARATOR) = <Value range below> (In ur case ' ' two spaces)
Description
Specifies if the fields in the file are separated by a tab. This is necessary if the structure passed contains several components. CR/LF occurs instead of a tab after the last field of a row.
Value range
'X': Fields are separated by tabs.
SPACE: Fields are not separated by tabs. In this case, the table must contain either only one single column or all columns must be contained in the file in their full length.

Transferring an Internal table from one Function Module to another

Hi,
I need to transfer an Internal Table from one FM to another. I've tried the statements IMPORT IT from Memory ID and EXPORT IT to Memory ID, but this is not working. I think the reason is different session or diff LUW, I can not use SET and GET Parametr syntax, as I will not be able to pass Internal Tables through it.
Can any1 please give a solution on this?

I'd agree with April that the easiest way to pass data directly from FM1 to FM2 is via "tables", but what is your overall code structure i.e. are you going:
Program
Call Function FM1
back to Program
Call Function FM1
or are you going:
Program
Call Function FM1
Call Function FM2 from FM1
In either case, I would expect the export / import to be working fine, at least it seem to when I tried it using:
export lt_data from lt_data to memory id 'Z:1234'.
import lt_data to lt_data from memory id 'Z:1234'.

XML file to Internal table through XSLT - Call Transformation

Hi Friends,
I am trying to work a scenario where i have a simple XML file and i need to convert the data in to an internal table. When i execute the XSLT seperately, it works fine. I get the output, but when it is invoked through a ABAP program, i am getting the error "The called method START_XSLT_DEBUGGER of the calss CL_WB_XSLT_DEBUGGER returned the exception CX_XSLT_FORMAT_ERROR"
I feel my XSLT program is not correct, but i am unable to find out what the issue is. Any help is really apreciated. I have gone through the SDN forum replies. But could not figure out what is wrong with my program

Passing Internal Table to a Function Module.

I am new to Web Dynpro Abap. Using the Function Builder, I am trying to pass an Internal Table (IT) as an import parameter into my Function Module (FM), fill it within the FM and be able to recieve the filled IT back as an Export parameter from the FM to my program. My problem here is that I do not know how to specify the Internal Table as an import OR export parameter for a Function Module, I tried using the Table Tab, but it says that is obsoleted.

You want to pass the internal table to FM inside WD component and that table contains fields from diff table, right?
Open the FM through SE37. Goto 'Tables' tab of FM. Create table of type mentioned in the 'Associated Type' column of the FM. Fill the internal table with data and pass the internal table to FM.
You can create Table type with different fields through SE11.
I hope I interpreted your question correctly.

How to transfer an internal table from one FUNCTION to another

   In Normal Enabled Function, I have created an External Parameter as
     ZTEMP LIKE ZSTR. (ZSTR is a structure).
   In Source Code, am using an Internal Table(ZINT) which is of the same structure type.
I have populated the internal table. Now I have to export these internal table values to another function.
I tried to assign the internal table to the exporting parameter. But this shows error as ZTEMP is not an internal table.
   So, How to transfer this??
   Give me sample Code.

Thanks for ur reply. Actually I am a beginner. So I dint get u. Can u first clear me one doubt: If I give ZTEMP LIKE ZSTR as export parameter, will it create ZTEMP as a table with all fields as in ZSTR ( or ) ZTEMP itself as a structure???
Then How can I transfer the internal table using Import/Export?
   Actually FUNCTION1 is giving some input to FUNCTION2. FUNCTION2processes and stores the result in Internal Table. Now I have to export these internal table contents to FUNCTION1.
   How can I do this??

Using this code i can get only single plant...
If i want to get multiple plants from an internal table,how i can change this code?
Since it is a recording i cant put this code in LOOP..ENDLOOP.
Suggest any method for doing this....

you just wanted to load the xml file into internal table (as a table of binary strings)or load the xml data mapped to itab row columns
for the first one you can simply use gui_upload
and for the second one you need to load the xml file using gui_upload and use XLST program to transform into an itab

Uploading data from excel file to a dynamically created internal table

Hi,
I have a requirement where i have to upload data from an excel file into a database table. I would be able to determine the structure of the table only at runtime based on the user input.. so i have created an internal table dynamically.
Could you please tell me if its possible to upload data from an excel file to the dynamically created internal table using any function modules?
I thought of doing this by declaring a generic internal table of one field and then uploading the *.csv file into it and then splitting it based on "," and then assigning it to the field symbol referencing the internal table.. but my file length exceeds 132 characters and i'm only able to get data of lenght 132 char's in my internal table ( generic one).
Could anyone please show me a way around this.
