I am the owner of a company which uses PAID skype accounts for business purpose. I recebtly received an e-mail from skype that tells me these accpunt are going to be closed (deleted) in 24 hours. Please contact me urgently.

You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.

How can I still view my message details on a closed business account?

How can I view my call logs and message details on my business account that I recently closed because I sold the business. I kept two of the lines from there and put them into a personal account with verizon but I need to access prior call logs and message details for these two lines. Verizon can send me just one year of the call logs but no messaging details. It was my account for nearly 30 years so I should still be able to access my own records and I was under the impression that I would be able to by keeping these two lines.

Verizon does not keep the contents of messages. They are on their servers only for the amount of time before they are written over with new data, usually a maximum of 10 days. Additionally, you would need a court order for Verizon to release any contents they still have on their servers.

I need to talk to someone about changing all of my accounts. A iCloud account was opened not by me and I lost 17 years of contacts. I have slowly gotten them back. My files from my Mac Book were taken and are gone. It has cost me about 60,000 dollars in business since November which has effected my staff as well. Many personal ireplacable memories of my childrens Photos were taken, Business, designs and accounting and personalFiles you name it gone or corrupted. My main PC including 4 external hard drives, then the Mac Book, My Iphones,itouch. Ipad were next and then my Mac Book pro. This is very humbling and heart felt. those who work with me have very strong beliefs, it was an internal doing or I should say someone gained or was allowed access to my home and equipment. I travel and tour and am gone quite a bit. This was and is the most difficult thing that has happened to me in a long time. In truth business and work will and can be rectified that not the point. It's how and what has been done which is the most damaging very personal almost vidictive but I will stop there. I feel so violated and saddened at the same time. I am hoping to contact someone through Apple or even an outside source to see if my files can be recouped and how to go about doing these changes all at once without all of the emails back and forth to approve changes in accounts what a pain. I want to change all accounts associated with apple. Apple ID and Pass words, I tunes ID and Pass word you name it.When I leave for work now days I have to take all of my equipment or lock things in the safe. I have an alarm system that is very good in additons to, animals still with the animals inside the motion detectors are off and in reality the damage has been done . I now this sounds crazy but I have proof of my back up files not all of them plus you can see in my documents all of my business accounts which are in orderof complition and dates are empty. My email accounts were also hacked and thru that individuals were able to change at will. When you have over 20 years of an association and relationships they know everything about someone. I do not want to press charges but I am to that point I need to bring in someone to investigate and I really do not know whom to even call. I have won awards for my work and my designs and information being taken has hurt more than words can express. I am currently out of town doing this late at night. I have changed my banking you name it. I need to have access to my computers to work but the stress of these constant changes and invasion of privacy are beyond expression. I plug in any of my usb drives and they are empty or my computers do not recognize them. I plug in my usb connector from my HP 8100 Printer with Blue tooth capabilities and it pops up and an external E drive for downloading just like an external drive. My printer acepts every imaginable portable disk on the market . Many of my usb drives are gone or have been corrupted. I have this darn air drop that goes on all the time. My computers I turn off and then they are on when I get up. I can go on and on. I live in the bay area and I am asking for help in trying to stop all of this. I will call Apple next but I wanted to put it out on this forum with the hopes of some response or input. I have all of my new and very minimal recovered information now on a web-based server which I know is safe the pass words and set up were done very discreetly (one can only hope). I apologize in advance for laying this out there like this. I am just so frustrated and because of the POSSIBLE implications makes it even harder In which I truly want to be proven wrong. I have never written or thought that I would be doing this as it is. If anything I hope some good comes out of this for someone. Bluetooth is a powerful tool this much I know now. Wow this is just simply amazing. There are 14 products I have purchased. I have been a windows person for years because of my work somethings are prapriatary to that OS but I love the Apple products. I am despratley trying not to nor will I throw in the towel. I know its a great product and its not the product. I just want to have the best opotunity to recover and have control over my designs and pretty much my privacy and peace of mind not too much to ask..:-) Oh! do not get me wrong I am willing to pay for services thats not the issue here. Once again thank you for at least espressing my frustrations.

Please read and begin using Can receive email, but not send email. I had a similar issue with Comcast mail (could receive by not send) and found my answer in this letter. For me it took resetting the outgoing mail and telling the system to use a password when sending outgoing mail. If you need help with that please advise and I'll tell you where to look.

It is possible that there could be damage to the SIM that the 6085 can't get past but another phone can, does any SIM work in this phone? If the phone is faulty, then with a basic model like this the most you can do is restore factory settings, which I suspect will not help in this case. You may have to get the phone repaired by a service centre?
The only company with the legal authority to changed the lock status of a SIM-locked phone is the network to which it is locked. If the phone was factory-locked, then if the network has lost the code they can apply for it from the manufacturer (only the network can do this, manufacturers will never give unlocking information to the public). If Vodafone have given you incorrect codes or instructions how to enter them, and you have made several attempts, then the phone SIM-lock status could itself be locked as they only allow so many attempts in case of theft.
Vodafone are the only people who can legitimately assist you with unlocking your phone.

Hacked Business Account

Hey, today my main Skype business account was hacked and it has a lot of details and contacts that I need. I make YouTube videos for a living so my name is in the public eye, making some scum want to take advantage of this and try and use my account to scam. I can't remember my email that I used to create me Skype so I have no idea how to atleast attempt to get it back. I've contacted the live chat but they really weren't any help at all, anyone know what I can do? NEED the account back.

If they are not a Skype accountholder, they need to dispute the fraudulent charges directly with their bank and/or the issuer of whatever payment method was compromised. I inferred their Skype account was compromised based on a free translator services' less than ideal translation; I could very well be mistaken!
If they wish to contact Skype Customer Service, they would need to create a new Skype account in order to do so.

IPhone and business accounts with AT&T

AT&T is telling me that I can not activate iPhones under my business plan with them. Has anyone else had issues with this? They told me this was part of the contract with Apple - has anyone heard anything about this?

For discussion purposes I will venture a few guesses:
a) ATT has been trying to get rid of the business discounts for quite some time, what better way to get business accounts switched over to personal accounts than something enticing like the iPhone (once you switch over, your business discounts are gone forever)
b) The iPhone has very few business features a road warrior would want
c) From the outset, the Business sector has compained that there might be too many security flaws in the iPhone - long before the iPhone came out
d) There are no business applications on the phone
e) ATT makes more money from personal accounts than from business accounts - no discounts, no need to keep a corporate entity happy
f) Many corporate networks forbid iTunes on their computer systems, and iTunes is required to activate and sync the iPhone, for updates, and everything else.
Those are just a few quick things I can think of off the top of my head. If I think of some others, I'll come back and edit and add them.

Business Account Overages

Our company transferred everyone's Verizon account into one Business account. Our owner has Sprint and when we did this transaction we told our Verizon rep that we needed to add our owners Sprint number to our Friends and Family list. Reviewing our bill we went over around 250 minutes and saw that his number was not added to the Friends and Family list. We would like to dispute those overages since the rep was asked to add that number on asap (as we knew the owner would be calling). Were will I get "better service" or someone who can handle a business account? At my local store or from a national rep? Thoughts?

If you or the Account Owner are enrolled in My Business Account via My Verizon, you will be able to verify, manage, and edit the Friends & Family numbers. This way, if you were charged for a number that is on your Friends & Family list, you will be able to dispute the overage charges, as well as fix the possible issue as to why the numbers are not reflecting as they should.

Cannot open Firefox 3.6.8 since installing toolbar from Inbox Dollars. Have 2 user accounts on my MacBook and it is fine on my business account, but will not open on my personal account, which is where I installed the toolbar.

AppleCare tried to help, but since Safari is working fine on both accounts, they said the problem was with Firefox on the personal account and they could not help me any further than what they already tried I do not want to lost it on my business account as well.

Try using Firefox's Safe Mode to disable the add-on.
First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, start Firefox in Firefox
[http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode] and temporarily disable add-ons so you can uninstall the problem one.

How do I specify the gmail outgoing server if I have multiple gmail accounts in my mail? I have 2 business accounts and when I send mail from one account, it is sent from the other account and the sending email is not from the correct account.

I love my apple email and do not want to use google mail on safari. However, I have 2 gmail accounts set up on apple mail, but when I send mail from one of my gmail accounts (I choose the specific gmail account in the drop down window), it actually goes out as if it is from the other gmail account. I can't have that happen because one is my job, the other is a personal business account and unfortunately, the mail from both gmail accounts want to send through the personal business account. How do I make it send from a specific gmail account? I even tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again hoping I set it up wrong in the first place, but to no avail, it is still doing the same thing except this time I set the job account up first and then the personal business account and now everything goes from the job account! The only good thing is that the incoming messages work properly and they go into the correct inbox. Somebody please fix my outbox!

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

Trouble with CS2 on Mac G5 with new user accounts - activation issues?

My system is a Mac G5 Quad running OS 10.5.8, and I have the CS2 premium suite. When I bought the machine I did everything under one user account. Several months ago the account started giving me a few problems, and my circumstances changed, so it made sense to create new, separate user accounts on my Mac for work and personal use.
Recently I offered to help a friend out with some design work and tried to start InDesign CS2 from my new business account. I was immediately presented with a demand for a serial number. I looked it up and entered it. An error popped up that said
"Invalid Serial Number
The serial number you provided is not valid.
Please check your serial number and re-enter it."
I tried a couple more times, making sure I had it right. No success.
I gave up and launched my original user account, launched InDesign and started the project. I set the document up and tried to save it. InDesign displayed an error stating "Cannot save "Untitled-1" under a new name. The file "DBTmp[bunch of numbers]" is damaged (error code:0" Each time I relaunched and tried again the temp filename was different.
So now I suddenly am without one of my primary tools and have no idea how to get it back. I am guessing this is a problem with the activation mechanism, but can't find many resources on this topic. It would appear that my attempt to launch InDesign from my new account triggered a piracy protection code or something.
I am typing this while waiting on hold for Adobe support. 25 minutes and counting...

I already have Acrobat 8.2.4, so I didn't start installing 8.2.2. However, I started working through solution 2 and discovered my new business user account was denied access to /Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/TypeSpt/Unicode/Mappings/. I changed the permissions on that directory to give my account read access, and InDesign fired up like normal. I didn't even need to replace the files.

It's interesting to learn CS2 is not supported in my OS version. It works fine (until this).

Multiple phones on business account. How do I access all of them on MyVerizon?

We have around 50 phones and 70 laptops using Verizon Wireless. I was told by the sales lady at the store that if I sign one of those up with MyVerizon that I would have access to see all of them.

I am using apple mail on my Mac and have two different accounts set up, one personal and one business. when i send mail a copy of the message is being saved into my business account swell.

Both accounts are Imap but the business one is Gmail and the persoanl one is 1and1. when i compose new mail in my personal account I make sure it says its going from my 1and1 account but for some reason the message appears in both sent boxes.
I need to fix this as I dont want other people using the business account seeing my personal sent emails!
This has only just started in last couple of days when I did something on accounts but cant think what that would have been.
hope someone can help.
