Urgent : Get OS login user in the report

D.B 9i
AS 10g
Report 10g
PROBLEM
I implement a report where it generate a PDF output contain private employee Details and send it to his email
But I want to run this report in our internal web site,
Where user login by his ID to the network and then open the internal web site, where he can ask for his details by click a link that will open/call the report Directly
(without using a form to call that report ).
When report is called the connection to DB is done by a guest user which have a required roles to get the employee details.
NOW:
my report should get the login user to network ( Windows OS user ).
And base on it Query for his details and send it to his email.
Note that : Login user to network = his ID in D.B = email ID
And since the report is run in the AS (mid tire) then I can't get OS user login.
Is there a way that in the report it self I can get the OS login ID of the client. ???
Note:
I don't want to user Developer forms.
Where I can use the webutil to get user login ID of the Client and pass it to the report and run the Report.
My requirement is to run the report direct ( URL ).
Therefore :
Is there a way that in the report it self I can get the OS login ID of the client. ???
Or any idea can help in my issue/ case
Plz help.

i use it but since my report run in the AS (mid tire) then
it will return the user of AS not the Client OS user.

You can use any of the below Session Variables, click the Fx and enter the below
VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.displayname) - Displays the Full Name of the User that is logged in and running the report for that session
VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.user_alias) - Display's Alias Name of the User that is logged in and running the report for that session
For the role, I don't think there is a Session Variable.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

How to get last login date of the user

I have an application where i need the last login date of the user and if the differance between the last login date and the system date is greater than a certain range the user account should be locked automatically.Please suggest me how resolve the problem as early as possible.

We have faced the same issue earlier. Some attributes are available in SAP API, but they are depricated by sap due to some performance issue.
Below solution will be helpful:
So we have implmented custom code in our application. We have developed one webdynpro application which will retrieve update & retrieve logon time from portal database(custom table). And we have integrated this application in desktop inner page. So this application will be invisible to the user and will executed first time when user logs into the portal.

How to get USERID system parameter in the report

I can pass the user id, password and connect string through the USERID parameter, but how do I get it in the report? (I need to pass the USERID to a different report, I got a error when I use :USERID). Thanks.

There are two steps I used with which to get USERID into the report.
1) Create a user parameter, P_USER, datatype CHARACTER, width 20
2) in Report Trigger AFTER PARAMETER FORM (could also be BEFORE REPORT), insert the following line of code:
:P_USER := USER;
Now you can create an F_USER variable with P_USER as its source and place it in the report as you would with any other user parameter.

How do you get your site removed from the reported attack sites list?

Our site https://mail.ccgs.nsw.edu.au/owa appears to be on the 'reported attack sites' or reported web forgeries' lists and is getting blocked in Firefox. This is a mater of urgency as we use Firefox as our web browser in this organization and there is a site wide outage, none of our staff can use their webmail. How do we get removed from this list?
When we have the site in the "Allowed Sites" list it still does not load.
When we un-tick "Block reported attack sites" and "Block reported web forgeries" the site works. Though we do not want to untick these for our users for security purposes.

I am not seeing this problem currently with that URL. Firefox refreshes the site list from Google quite frequently. You can check for new files in the following folder and if they are not getting refreshed, I suppose you could try deleting them.
C:\Users\''username''\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\''profilename''\safebrowsing
Note that this is under the Local branch (location of cache) and not the Roaming branch (location of preferences, extensions, etc.)

Hi All,
I got the answer and it worked for me:-
1. If the BI Scheduler cannot ping the mail server specified in the scheduler configuration, check the correct server is specified. If it is, check that it is up and running.
2. If the user name and password are specified in the scheduler configuration, log in to Enterprise Manager and navigate to:
Weblogic Domain
Right click on bifoundation_domain > Security > Credentials
Expand oracle.bi.enterprise
Highlight mail.server and delete the user name and password..

How to find login user with the largest account

Hello. I'm looking to put together a bash script that can do two things: (1) determine the shortname of the user with the largest account in /Users and (2) look up their full/long name. I'm going to use this script to help identify who the user on a computer and while I know that's possible that a sometime-user may have a larger account than the normal-user on any given computer, the results of a script should be sufficient in most cases for my needs.
I'm not sure the best way to around this. I know that I can use "du -m -d1 /Users" as root:

[ ~ ]$ du -m -d1 /Users
157 /Users/admin
128 /Users/johndoe
70890 /Users/dancollins
21746 /Users/Shared
92920 /Users
I know that I can also use "dscacheutil -q user" to get a full list of all users on a system.
How can I get both the short and long name of the user with the largest account in the /Users folder?

We're running JAMF Recon for inventory and my supervisor wants to create a report that lists the primary user of the Mac... assuming that the largest user account may be the primary user. In this case, disk space is not the issue, the top admins simply would like to be able to associate names with individual machines. This isn't the most elegant way to do it and it's not fool-proof, but it'll be correct more often than not, which they're satisfied with.
Can I ask one more question? Using your script, I've started testing with one building and on a number of Mac, the "admin" (shortname) account is turning out to be the largest account. Is there a way to exclude the admin account from consideration?

Getting different result while executing the report by debugger

I am facing a peculiar issue. When i execute the report from SE38 i am getting a particular set of values in a alv report.
But if i start debugging the report by using /h and execute . i am getting another set of result. How does it happen any idea.

How to get list of users assinged the same product catagory

Hi Chinnappa,
1) You can create a table query for tables HRT1222 and HRP1222 to get the org Id or Position Id assigned for the product category.
Then use FM BBP_OM_STRUC_GET_USER_FROM_POS to get the list of users for that org ID.
2) or if you want to check list of prod categories linked to user ID, then use FM BBP_READ_ATTRIBUTES

My Client enters the 'UDATE' value in the selection screen. And My Client wants latest records with corresponding 'UDATE'.
1)Suppose my client enter the 'UDATE' as 1/11/2007 - 15/11/2007 then he need to gets

2)Suppose my client enter the 'UDATE' as 1/11/2007 - 30/11/2007 then he need to gets

HI,
You can achive this by creating a variable on Udate processing type as customer exit. you have to write some code in RSR00001 Enhancement. Just tell the logic to ur ABAPer they will provide u the code. Or search in forum u will get the code. It will be a very simple one.
