Urgent Issue: Error Mapping Existing Forms to manually updated XML

Hi All,
We are working on pretty complex InfoPath form which contains 150+ fields. Based on new requirements, we added few sections containing
repeating tables with default data of multiple rows (using default values feature). To make sure that existing forms get these repeating table values correctly we wrote a PowerShell script to update the existing forms (xml files) directly.
This is done so that when an existing form is opened data should get properly mapped. But unfortunately only few repeating tables are showing the correct data and other repeating tables are showing only first record multiple times. This is working for new
forms exactly the way we expect.
We tried to download the xml file and updating the changed xml section from new form xml but it still does not work and shows the same issue. But when we open the existing
form, save it, download it and then change the xml with xml from new form, it works. Somehow when we open existing forms, the mapping is not correct.
Please guide me on this issue. Appreciate your help.

The problem is very well clear, but in order to suggest in your solution I recommend to post the code you used in PowerShell to update xml, any XSLT customization, custom code related to the repeating table you have implemented etc.

Openscript with E-business R11i issue- Error occurred in Forms LT recorder

Hi,
When I try to record(load test script) on E-Business Suite R11i application, Openscript gives the following error popup during launching forms from inside E-Business application.
Error occurred in Forms LT recorder
When I finish recording, I notice that no forms are recorded.
How can I resolve this?
I can manually access the forms page and perform actions.
I can understand that this is due to Jinitiator and Java versions on my laptop. But I cannot resolve the issue.

Yes I have seen this, and I tried some debugging activities (log checking, JConsole etc), and couldn't resolve this at all, as there was no more information to be had.
As my good colleague Jamie has pointed out, you should raise an SR for this.

4) Copy a test a.mxml to c:\
5) Start up Tomcat , access the structs, I will get the
Error: unable to open './flex-config.xml' in the tomcat log.
Can anyone tell me how to specify the location of the
flex-config.xml ?

Urgent issue: error in posting idocs

Hi All,
I am posting an idoc from ECC 5.0 to 3.1 I system thru ALE/Idoc methodology.
The partner settings, customer model are set up in ECC 5.0, distributed the customer model and I can see the model in the 3.1I system. The partner settings in the inbound 3.1i is creating some issue when I tested the scenario by sending an idoc from 5.0 to 3.1I. The error status is 63 with message "No partner profile exists for sender LS DEVCLNT300, message type DESADV".
Is it mandatory that the outbound process code is same as the inbound process code. Anyways for me, both the process codes are same but having different funtion modules ONE FOR OUTPUT AND OTHER FOR INPUT both are customized "ZIDOC_OUTPUT_xxxx" AND "ZIDOC_INPUT_xxxxx". I guess this part is creating issue to me. ZIDOC_INPUT_xxxxx is empty which doesn't contains any source code.
The reqmt is very urgent. Any help in identifying the issue will be appreciated

The scenario is a little weird but this is what I need to do.
I want to send idoc from ECC 5.0 to 3.1I and then to external system. I did succeed in sending idoc from ECC 5.0 to 3.1I now but not further to external system. How can I achieve this scenario using ALE. A detailed step by step approach would be helpful and appreciated.
This is what I did and didn't succeed. In the inbound partner profile, I maintained outbound parameters which points to port and RFC destination to external system so that whenever the idoc comes in the 3.1I system it sends the same to external system. I didn't maintain the distribution model from 3.1I to external system which I think worthless. Pls note that I cannot change the architecture in any way. And would like the suggestions to be in sync with the architecture. Thanks a lot and appreciate any help

I think that you can try the type "Any"
Then after the client receive the any object it can be cast to the object you have.

Error in Adobe form based in a xml interface when changing data element

The adobe form is called from a web dynpro.
The adobe form contain a page and subforms (positioned y flowered).
The form worked out perfectally.
Then edited a descriptive text in a data element, from se11. The form continues worked out correctelly.
Then modify a fixed text from the form. The form is activated.
Since this modification, the form stopped to work out, informing the following message:
"WebDynpro Exception: The ADS call has failed. You can find information about the cause in the error.pdf on the application server".
I have updated the nodes of the web dynpro, the xml interface of the form, is all activated and this is still not working.
Someone could help me? Does anyone know what it could be happened?
Is there a way to re-generate the form?

The data element is char 4. I have only changed descriptive texts.
I have take take all the objects to the previous version (data element, wd view, interface xml, adobe form), and the form is still not working.

ORA-00600: internal error code while using UpdateXML to update xml content

Hi,
I have been using the UpdateXML command to replace content of xml stored in XMLType. It was working absolutely fine.
Below is the query:
UPDATE temp d SET d.message_content = updateXML(d.message_content,'//*[.="Test" ]/text()','"Test123"') WHERE existsNode(d.message_content,'//*[.="Test"]')=1";
But now i'm getting an exception as follows:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [qmcxeUpdateXml:2.1], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
The table uses a Free Test Index.
I searched the forum and found from the given link https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2352772 that corrupted Index may be the cause of this problem. I'm still clueless :(

I think you have hit bug 6811908, at least if Odie is correct about your version.
Bug says No workaround - Fixed in 11.1.0.8

Web Dynpro & Adobe Interactive Forms - how to update the context node

Hi Experts,
I got a WD Component with some context nodes that are mapped to some views and are filled in this views. These context nodes are the dataSource for the Interactive Forms. These forms are embedded in a view by UIElement Interactive Forms.
My problem is, everytime when I change the structure of the context nodes (i.e. there's an additional attribute necessary), I have to design new forms to get the context nodes linked to the form. My existing forms cannot handle updated context nodes.
The change in the context node is displayed on web dynpro side, in the dataSource view in UIElement property. But in TA sfp there is the old context node structure displayed without any change (i.e. in number of attributes).
My forms' layout type is ZCI Layout the interface is based on XML.
How can I easily update the forms' context node structure without creating new forms every time?

Manual update - how do I add album art to songs that are already in ipod?

I recently changed to manual update as the auto update started to take a ridiculously long time to even recognize my 60gb.
I wanted to add album art to an album that was already in my ipod. I updated the songs in itunes, and then dragged them to the ipod when it was listed in itunes.
Itunes said "updating songs" - and I ended up with two copies of each song.
I deleted the duplicates from the ipod, but surely there must be an easier way.
So how does one properly update information on existing songs with manual update?

The easiest way to do this kind of thing probably would be to either make the alterations (album artwork, lyrics, etc.) on your iPod's songs themselves, not the iTunes library songs. (Click on the little arrow to the left of your iPod's name in the Source List of iTunes, so show/hide. Click on the "Music" library under your iPod to see it's songs displayed in iTunes.)
When you've gotten in the "Music" library, under your iPod's name in iTunes, you can select the songs here that you want to change, and click on "Get Info".
Or, you could do this:
1 - Make the changes to the iTunes Library songs.
2 - Go to your iPod's Music area in iTunes.
3 - Delete the current songs off your iPod that will be replaced with the "modified" version of the track (that has additional or altered info on it.)
4 - Now, go back to the iTunes Library. Select those new changed songs, and drag them to your iPod.

Error While Generating Form-16 (HR_INF16_2012_B in language EN does not exist)

Dear Experts
My client is using SAP ECC6 EHP4 and We recently updated the HR Service Pack to SAPK-60464INSAPHRCIN in order to apply the SAP Note 1829618 - PY-IN: Union Budget Changes for Year 2013.
After upgrading Service Pack we are getting the below error while generating Form-16.
Layout set HR_INF16_2012_B in language EN does not exist

This a Blunder from SAP. And this issue we are getting in almost all the client.
For this we have to download respective Form from Golder client 000 and upload again in our working client.
Better please raise an OSS message with SAP to provide you the steps.

Form Captcha Issues - Error message when not filled vs. traditional "Please fill in the following:"

Just discovered an issue regarding a form using a CAPTCHA.
When I formerly submitted other forms on sites with CAPTCHA's in the forms I created, when one did not fill out the form, a pop-up window would appear allerting the customer to "Fill in the form field" that were required, including an allert to "Enter Word Verification in box below."
I have created a new form for a new site and seem to be encountering a different issue. When the form is not filled out and the user clicks "Submit" a new page loads with a red error message saying: "ERROR: An error occurred. Image verification failed. If you believe this is incorrect, please contact your system administrator or go back and re-submit the form."
How can I correct this to simply have the same required field pop-up window appear like was happening with former developed forms?? Not sure why this form is doing this when all prior forms with CAPTHCA included were just fine. Haven't done anything different to the form that I hadn't to others in the past....Please Help!! XML Parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4) --- Urgent Help Needed!

Hi all, what im doing now is im trying to create a database connection my my MS SQL 2005 database. I created a data source and went to my Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1, i created a new data connection, selected OLEDB and created the connection string using the build function.
Ok, now the problem is, after creating the new data connection and i click on the preview tab, i will receive the error stated above.
'XML Parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4), line 444, column 1 of file'
Does anyone know why am i receiving this error and how do i go about solving this?
I need this database connection to pre-fill my form when the user downloads the form =(

I have a vital form that clients fill out, which is passed to many people in the company along the workflow. The form is a Planner and we have in the following PDF, Word Doc..
Well before, the Planner.pdf was originally created in Word, since most people have access to Word.. but evolved to a PDF form created from the Word Doc via Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 w/ User Rights enabled so that the form could be filled out and saved using Adobe Reader.. which was a step better than Word.. being that it is free. But this needed to be easier and more to the point b/c some clients don't particularly like installing the latest version of Reader, even if you provide them the link. Nor do they like saving the form, filling the form, and attaching the form to send back.
My goal is to have the client fill an HTML version of the form, submit and be done with it, but everyone in the workflow be able to easily receive the filled Planner as a PDF form.
So some months ago I ran into this post Chris Trip, "Populate Livecycle PDF from mySQL database using PHP" #8, 22 Sep 2007 4:37 pm
which uses the command line Win32 pdftk.exe to merge an FDF file into an existing PDF on the remote server, and serve this to whoever.
My problem was with shared hosting and having the ability to use the Win32 pdftk.exe along with PHP which is predominantly used on Linux boxes. And we used a Linux box.
so i created the following unorthodox method, which a client fills the HTML version of the Planner, all field values are INSERTED into a table in MySQL DB, I and all filled planners that have been filled by clients to date can be viewed from a repository page where an XML file is served up of the corresponding client, but someone would have to have Acrobat Professional, to import the form data from the XML file into a blank form.. altoughh this is simple for me.. I have the PHP file already created so that when a Planner is filled and client submits. >> the an email is sent to me with a table row from the repository of the client name, #, email, and a link to d-load the XML file,
But I also have the PHP files created so that the Planner can be sent to by email to various people in the workflow with certain fileds ommitted they they do not need to see, but instead of the XML file beiong served up i need the filled PDF Planner to be served.
I can do this locally with ease on a testing server, but I am currently trying to use another host that uses cross-platform compatibility so i can use PHP and the pdftk.exe to achieve this, as that is why I am having to serve up an XML file b/c we use a Linux server for our website, and cant execute the exe.
Now that I am testing the other server (cross-platform host), just to use them to do the PDF handling (and it's only $5 per month) I am having problems with getting READ, WRITE, EXECUTE permissions..
Si guess a good question to ask is can PHP do the same procedure as the pdftk.exe, and i can eleminate it.
or how in the heck can i get this data from the DB into a blank PDF form, like i have described??

Thank you for your reply it helped me to solve the problem in R/3. But I am still getting the same error in ESS portal? Do I have to set the ADS settings for the form to display portal, then will the same error come back in R/3?
