Urgent requirement..Integration scenario

Hi folks,
We need to create configuration objects in directory using integration scenario. However one of our application components would be a business service and not a system. When we try to assign services in the second step of configurator it only shows the Business Systems.
Any suggestions as to how we can assign Business Service in Assign Services Step???
ManyThanks,
Pritish

  • R/3 - Xi - MDM integration Scenario.

    Hi experts,
We are working on R/3 XI MDM integration scenario for Customer master wherein requirement is to consolidate the u201CGeneral datau201D but at the same time we need to retain u201Csales area datau201D for each record as it is.
For example, In sap ECC system we have Master record (Which is duplicate) as mentioned below,
    Id   Name           Sales Area.
    1    Neethu      SA1
    2    Neethu Joy     SA2
After merging two duplicate records general data we will have a single record in data manager. Further we want to link Sales Area Data to same consolidated record. Final picture in MDM data manager should look like this,
    Id   Name           Sales Area.
    1   Neethu      SA1; SA2
Can anyone suggest a solution? How we can u201Cappendu201D Sales area data to Consolidated General master data. How we can deal with u201CDelta Recordsu201D to achieve the same Output..??
Matter is most urgent...Points will be rewarded.
    Cheers,
    Rajesh Chavan

    Hi Rajesh,
On merging two duplicate records, generally data merge as a single record in data manager. So i would suggest in this case
You have to change your Repository design and MAP. you can achieve this, Firstly For Sales Area you have to make this lookup field(Multi-Valued) in main table which will lookup to SubTable say SalesA for which Multi-Valued is YES.
Now come to Import Manager, Here during Map as you have
    Id Name Sales Area.
    1 Neethu SA1
    2 Neethu Joy SA2
Map first Source Sales Area Field with Name(DF) when you select SalesA as your Current Destination Table then import Main table records as ususal here in which you also map Sales Area source field with Sales Area which is lookup field(Multi-Valued) in main table
IN Data Manager, During Merge Records when you select Sale Area field as SA1 in Merged Record for Id 1 then Right Click on SA2 for Id 2 here your append Option will get enabled using this you can get desired output as
    Id Name Sales Area.
    1 Neethu SA1; SA2
    Rewards if useful....
    Hope it will help you,

  • Unable to Load the Integration scenario into the Integration directory

    Hi All,
I am new to using SAP XI.
Require your help on the following issue.
I have built an Integration scenario, added Component  Type: Product Version, inserted actions and connections.
I did check for any errors. I found no errors.
When I am trying to load this scenario into the  Integration directory its not showing up the scenario in the popup.
    Navigation:
Directory > tools> Transfer scenario from repository
The status of Integration Scenario in the builder shows as
    "Being processed".
I created the scenario 2 days back.
Can some one help me in this?

  • The userexit is not working in integration scenario- inb. delivery creation

    Hi Experts please help,
We know that vl31n is for inbound delivery creation.
in one of the userexits of vl31n, I did code ( shifting the batch to vendor batch )...
So,the user enters batch number under batch field and
fill all other required information and saves to create inbound delivery.
Whilw inbound delivery creation my coding in user exit gets executed and shifts the batch number to Vendor batch field.
This we observed when we check in vl32n or vl33n, the batch entered shifted to Vendor batch field() batch field is space.
This is working fine with vl31n inb. delivery creation.
But in integration testing it failed.
In Integration, what is happening the other system called "ICH" is creating ASN (shipping note) with the batch number, which inturn created the inbound delivery in R/3 via XI as shown like below.
    Integration scenario :
ICH System (ASN)   --> XI -->  R/3 System (Inb. delivery creation)
So when "ICH" triggers ASN to R/3 the inbound delivery creation is happening but the batch number is not shifting to vendor batch field.
when we open the inbound delivery in vl32n, the batch number is under batch field only...it should be under vendor batch field.
My understanding is my user exit coding of vl31n not getting executed in the integration process.
Kindly help me what can I do to shift the batch sending from ICH to shift to vendor batch field.
Please let me know if I could not explain the scenario.
    THANKS IN advance.
YOUR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

the ASN from ICH, it uses a standard idoc function module IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1 and there is one user exit EXIT_SAPLV55K_012 which calls ZXTRKU07
    need to code there.
solved by meetings with some other experts.
    THANKS.

  • Adding a new reciever to an existing integration scenario of conf in PI7.0

    Hi SapAll.
here i have got a requirement to add one more reciever to an existing integration scenario in Integration Directory(Configuration).
this Integration scenario is for sending the idoc MATMAS.MATMAS05 From 5 Different SAP-R/3 Systems to 2 Recievers.
here iam using 5 different business systems with idoc communication channels for sending idocs and 2 business systems for recieving idocs in file format with file adapters.
so when iam trying to create new reciever detarmination or Interface Determination, it says object already exists.
but i can created reciever agreement without any error.
so can anybody guide me on how to create the Interface,Reciever Determinations without any error.
    regards.
    Varma

now i just created a new business system with file communication channel
Why have a Business System for a FILE channel? We normaly use Business Component/ Service.
You mentioned IDOC SENDER channels....why? For IDOC we just create Receiver channels...unless you want to specify IDOC packaging.
when iam trying to create a reciever detarmination from one of the existing sender system say like BUS_SENDER2 to new
reciver system ex:NEW_BUS_RECIEVER it says object already exists.
Receiver Determination can have the same BUS_SENDER2 system/ service as sender....but it should not have the same Interface Name....this is where PI is throwing the error.
There already exists a Receiver Detremination with BUS_SENDER2 as source system and the same message interface.
You can reuse the same RD by just entering one more receiver system/ service below the already existing one (in the RD)
In short just search your ID and you will see a RD created with the source details which you are trying to use.
If you want to see a difference, then create a new sender service/ system and then use this to create the RD!

    Abhishek.

  • SOAP receiver starting the integration scenario

    Hello experts,
I am searching for a way to start an integration scenario with a SOAP receiver in the same way it is possible with JDBC sender (with a pool interval).
The scenario is: I need to execute a webservice, getting information from it, and send this information to an abap proxy on ECC side.
I thought about creating a ccBPM with a loop (with no end) and a wait step for doing it... although it works, I think it is not the best way for doing it.
    Thanks for your suggestions!
    regards.
    Roberti

    Thank you guys.
Let me explain the scenario in a better way.
    The scenario is:
1 - Automatically execute a partner webservice sync call with constant parameters.
2 - Get the webservice response.
3 - Map the response to get required information.
4 - Send this information to an Abap proxy.
5 - Process the information to proper abap objects.
Note: This scenario needs to be automatically executed every 30 minutes.
The purpose of this scenario is to GET documents (xml) from a partner web service and import the information to ECC, continuously, each 30 minutes. So, no one is supposed to start the process, it should be automatically triggered. The goal is exactly the same we have with JDBC or file sender adapter, where we can set a 30 minutes interval to automatically execute an sql statement in the database or read a file in a path.
JAVAGUY and Stefan Grube, I did it in this way. But, scheduling an Abap job to start the proxy -> webservice -> proxy scenario, the Abap job is the RESPONSIBLE for the scenario. If something wrong occurs with that job schedule, the integration will stop working. I would prefer PI as responsible for the process, so I can have alerts and other execution guarantees.
Abhishek Salvi and Pratik_du, I think that the scenario is clear now, don't it? About the ccBPM, this is another way I implemented the solution. I created a ccBPM with
    1 - A receiver that I execute just once
    2 - One loop with a condition 1 = 1 (infinite)
2a (Into the loop) - A send step to execute the webservice sync call
2b (Into the loop) - A receiver step to get the webservice response
2c (Into the loop) - A map step to transform the information I need
2d (Into the loop) - A send step to send the information to the Abap proxy
2e (Into the loop) - A wait step to wait 30 minutes until execute the next step of the loop
IIn this case, I will have a ccBPM running continuously and doing the job.
I posted the question because I'm not sure which solution is better, and check if you can see another way to make PI the responsible for starting a scenario with a soap receiver like this.
    Thank you again.

  • ALE/IDOC and RFC/BAPI Integration Scenarios with SAP DS for ESA v3

    Hi,
we are planning two PoCs of Integration Plattforms. One of our major requirement set is SAP Integration into our existing SOA.
Because we also have R/3 4.7 Systems in production, we are planning to test ALE/IDOC and RFC/BAPI Integration scenarios with these Integration Plattforms.
    My question is:
We are looking for are smart solution to get a SAP Test Environment, where we can test ALE/IDOC und RFC/BAPI Integration scenarios.
It is possible to do this with SAP DS for ESA v3 or shall we better use IDES for that purpose?
    Best regards,
    Steven

    Hi Abhishek,
This is our scenario. We are doing an integration of SAP HR r/3 system with the CRM system. We need housing information details of the employees which we have in custom infotype 9310 in SAP HR system and we need those details in the CRM system. So am planning out for an ALE/IDOC approach for the integration and gonna  maintain the 9310 details in a custom table. In the CRM system, we gonna build a BOL layer for accessing the 9310 details. Also i'm preparing a HLD for this process. I wanna read and go through few same HLD's before i submit my proposal to my client. Please suggest me and help me out.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Integration Scenario in BPM

    My Scenario is
    PI7.1 -->PI7.0 -- > Webservice --->response from bpm to another system.
iam doing the above scenario in BPM, I  have some queries on BPM in Integration Scenario.
    In the BPM iam using
1.A Receive step to collect the data from XI 7.1
2.A transformation step to append the file to the i/p payload from PI 7.1.
3.A send async to write the payload into R3.
4.A transformation step for the value mapping.
5.A synchronous send step to send a request and get the response from the webservice.
6.Finally a send asynch step to send the data out of BPM to another system.
Somebody Please guide me about how to incorporate BPM in the integration scenario(how many  actions, application components and connections  do i need to create for the BPM).
    Expecting your replies.
    Thanks
    Srinivas
Edited by: Srinivas on Mar 10, 2010 1:01 PM

4 Application components would be for PI 7.1, BPM, R3, Webservice and if your final system is not among the 4 mentioned, then one component for that system too.
    Connections:
    Async with PI 7.1
    Async with R3
    Sync with Webservice
    Async with final system
Actions would be required for all sending and receiving tasks.

  • Multiple message mappings in one integration scenario

I am trying to send a message to a marketplace that uses a web service interface. First I have to map the SRM PO to OAGIS XML, then This must be embedded in the message of the web service which requires a further mapping. In the integration scenario in the repository it seems straight forward, however the configuration of the scenario in the directory seems a little strange. This becaue the middle step does not really have an eternal receiver, as it must stay in the integration engine until the final conversion. Is it actually possible to perform several mapping in series or must I use an integration process for the middle mapping?

    Andrew,
I am addressing the same problem as follows.
If you need a canonical mapping (such as OAGIS in your example) you need 2 mappings for 3 messages A(source) to B(canonical) to C(target). If you try to use XI (without BPM) as an action between the source and the target need to configure a channel in and out which as far as I can see is not possible.
When setting multi-mapping you seem to only have the folowing options:
Multiple source and multiple targets but this seems to limit you to one mapping program.
Multiple mappings if I have only one source and one target.
I think this is designed to map one or many sources to one or many targets in one mapping program.
Also you can apply a series of mapping programs to a single source and target pair.
If I understand Michal's solution you would define A as the source and C as the target. You then use multi mapping to get to the final result, but I think this is still on a single source and target. A second solution is to include multiple mappings as additional modules in the channel adpator.
To take advantage of the canonical approach I am using a simple integration process with a receive and send step. All this realy does is get round the problem you highlight of having to have channels for the middle action in your integration scenario. This is an overhead but does allow you to add splitting and combining messages if needed in the future without much additional configuration.
I can't see an easy option without BPM. Maybe there is an alternative but I can't find it. Maybe a next release of XI could include an interface mapping configuration that allows a sequnce of mapping betweem multiple pairs of maps:
    Seq  Source -
    Mapping Program   -
    Target
    1 -
      Message A  -
      Mapping Program 1 -
        Message B
    2 -
       Message B  -
      Mapping Program 2 -
        Message C
    I hope this helps.
    Regards
    Antony

  • Integration scenario and configuration scenario - is it madatory

    Hi,
Integration Scenarios are not mandatory, the reason for creating them is given in the blog you mentioned:
The advantages of defining integration scenarios in the Integration Builder (design tool) are as follows:
    · The integration scenario provides you with an overview of the process and the process flow
    · The integration scenario club together all objects like SWVC,Interface objects, mapping objects, integration processes. You can access all of these objects from the integration scenario.
    · The integration scenario gives you the design time information which is required for its configuration.
The configurtation items are getting created.
    Regards
    Patrick

    Hi Priya,
       There are two things here.
    1) Create the Integration Scenario in the IR.
    2) Use the wizard to configure the integration scenario in ID.
The Integration scenario created in the IR acts as a template to create the configuration objects in ID.
The wizard will create the actual configuration objects only (not just documentation).
But creating integration scenarios is not mandatory.
YOu can as well create all the configuration objects manually.
Generally, you will go for Integration scenarios if you are building a general purpose product (Product based ).
If it is a project that you are building for a particular customer, you can chose to create the configuration objects using the configuration scenario approach.

  • Integration Processes within Integration Scenario

The process I need to model is as follows:
SRM XML PO => OAG XML PO => Embeded OAG XML PO in another message.
I have looked at trying to use an integration process to handle the first conversion and then a regular interface mapping for the 2nd. However despite creating the Integration process in the same software component as the Integration Scenario I get nothing in the drop down list when searching for the Integration process in the Application Component definition. Even if I try to create a new integration process from within the Application component I get an error saying that the SCV of the integration process and the SCV of the Application component are not the same
Does any one have any suggestions

    Hi Rajasekar,
           Hope u do fine.
Ur not mentioned any of ur requirement.
In BPM scenarios only we can create the INTEGRATION PROCESS.
In REPOISTERY--> we can design the INTEGRATION PROCESS.
In DIRECTORY--> Service can installed the Directory.

  • Integration scenario in rep

    hi,
i'm creating an integration scenario inthe repository. B2B. the scenari has two action one which picks a file and pother which drops a  file. i'm creating  the applicaiton component  as template. after doing the entire configuration when i import it in directory and when i'm tryin assign communcation channel for the first action its showing communaction channel not required. but it is required. i've created the party, service and communcatio channle in the directory. and the sender party  and sender service is being properly assigned from the integration scenario editor. anybody can suggest something.. please.
    regards,
    Rahul.

    Hi Rahul,
it is necessary to add the required interfaces into the /servicesparties (including BPM service) in the directory, which are connected to the process.
receiver agreements are not stand alone but connected to interfaces.
Possibly this will solve your problem!

  • Customer specific codelists in integration scenario with CRM onPrem

    Hi,
we are working on an integration scenario C4C <> CRM onPrem. The businesspartner masterdata should be editable in C4C and CRM.
We have several customer specific fields on the businesspartner in both systems.
In CRM we have implemented customizing for the values of these fields via customizingtables that can be maintained with TX:SM30.
We can also create finetuning-activities for the maintenance of the code lists for these fields in C4C.
As these customizingtables can have around 1.000 entries per table we are searching for a solution to maintain the values just in CRM instead of maintaining them twice.
Does anybody has an idea how to replicate customer specific codelist-values from CRM into C4C? Or maybe a valuehelp in C4C that retrieves the values via webservice from CRM?
    Thanks
    Danny

    Hi Danny,
We have requirement like get all Oper Order based on Account from ECC to cloud and we have successfully achieved using External Web Service Integration.
We have consume ECC web service integration and retrieve all Open orders based on Account ID and display in the table.
So as per my knowledge you can read all value using web service call and maintained in custom OVS ( I have never tried ).
You need to check whether is it possible or not using custom OVS but if it is working for table than it may be work for custom OVS as well.

  • Doubt in Integration Scenario

    Hi All,
I wuld like to know whether  I can  create a Integration Scenario after completing the Configuration steps (eventhough it doesnt make much sense)

    Hi Aarthi,
Its not mandatory to create the integration scenario.
The integration Scenario in IR will be useful for re-presenting the whole flow of the interface.
If you do the itegration scenrio in Design time then you do not need to follow the stpes which is required in configuration like creating Aggrement, determination and all. you just need to import the scenario from integration repository that will avoid configure part.
Usually during the audit time the auditor checks whether IS is designed or not? as that is the good practive to design ur scenario with IS.
    Companion Guide to Integration scenario
    /people/venkat.donela/blog/2006/02/17/companion-guide-to-integration-scenario
It will be good loaction to get all the information about whole interface.
You could either create or transport the same Integration scenario in ID.
With the use of Integration scenario you could model the whole interface with all minute details
It comes under best practices. So if you create the IS it will be very easy for you to understand the and designe the business flow. Morevere becomes very easy while creating/configuring the Integration Directory, you just need to import the design objects form IR.
If you will not create IS, there is no harm. So it all depends upon client and also you.
    Thanks,
    Vijaya.
