NumberFormatException when using Integer.decode with hex numbers

hi folks, I have a simple test code to convert a hex string to an Integer. The odd thing is that it works for my hex strings that contains only numbers 0-9 but fails with a NumberFormatException for any hex string with the LEGAL hex characters a-f or A-F. The two examples below show the issue,

I've tried using a string such as "-0xdeadbeef" or "+0xdeadbeef" with the same results. Is not the natural size of an Integer object 32 bits?
So the max is 0xFFFFFFFF. my example of 0xdeadbeef is well within this.
Still stuck!!
MikeIf you read the docs more closely, you'll see that they say:
"The sequence of characters following an (optional) negative sign and/or radix specifier ("0x", "0X", "#", or leading zero) [...] must represent a positive value"

Sample data above and below is the dataype for each one of them
alpha datatype- string
beta datatype-integer
gamma datatype-integer
col1,col2,col3 are all string datatypes.
Note:columns are not unique and we would be using alpha,beta,gamma to uniquely identify a record .Now as you see my sample data this is in a table which doesnt have index .I would like to have a index created covering these columns (alpha,beta,gamma) .I
beleive that creating clustered index having covering columns will be better.
What would you recommend the index type should be here in this case.Say data volume is 1 milion records and we always use the alpha,beta,gamma columns when we filiter or query records

When I tried querying using the below query on my heap table the sql server suggested to create NON CLUSTERED INDEX INCLUDING columns ,[beta],[gamma] ,[col1]

My question is why it didn't suggest Clustered INDEX and chose NON clustered index ?

LabVIEW DSC Logging too Many Data Points for Integer Tags

Hi,
I am having a strange problem with LabVIEW 2013 SP1 DSC data logging, running on XP SP3.
All the integer Data Type Tags in my Tag Database that are set to data log, are logging way too much data. When I look at the amount of logged data points for these int16 in Historical view I see its logging a point nearly every second. See screen shots below or attached jpeg's of screen shots of trace view and Trace Props of one of the integer Tags. I would prefer the integer tags to only log on change like the boolean tags.
These tags are being acquired from a Horner OCS over Modbus Serial RTU. The Modbus comms is set-up to poll once a second.
The problematic Tag Data Type in DSC logging are Int16
The Modbus register data items denotations I am using for Int16 is S4#####
Example 'OCS_Modbus_Master\S403709'
The same register represented in OCS Register is shown as '%R0709'
The trace properties for some of these int16 tags is showing database page numbers in the thousands, which compared to the largest floating point tag is currently showing 172 pages after several months of logging.
I would have expected int16 tags to only log a value when the value changes and since the 'update deadband' tag setting is disabled for integer tag properties there is no way to config the tag to only log on changes. What is the default logging config for integers. Log everything or log on any change?
I would prefer for these integer tags to only log on change, since they change infrequently, log on change would be much more data efficient.
I tried changing the tag data type to floating point and gave it an update deadband value to try and see if that would reduce the amount of logged data, it didn't seem to make any difference.
Not sure if the issue lies in the

> Some kind of Horner OSC data type mismatch which results in DSC polling seeing the acquired value as having changed on every poll.

This definitely sounds like a citadel/logos issue. There are two possibilities:
1) corrupt database
2) corrupt logos
To see if it is a corrupt database, simply go to your database folder and move all the files out of that folder to a different folder. Then restart the application. Your application will create a clean database. This may solve the problem. If so, then you know it is a corrupt database.
To upgrade/reinstall logos, go to the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. If you see logos there, uninstall it. After uninstalling it, install the most recent logos version (found at ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/lookout/logos).

I'm getting the following error message in mtrmgr.log file. I have create simple visio.exe. I have removed the policy and re-added with no luck.

All was well until the events I entered on the phone were showing up in Outlook, but not the other way around. I’ve tried the usual recommended steps: deselecting calendar and contacts in the iCloud control panel and then re-selecting, signing out of the panel and back in, and repairing the Outlook installation in control panel. I even uninstalled iCloud on the PC and downloaded it again (same version).
The furthest I’ve gotten is step 2 (and once, step 3) of 7 while performing “Outlook Setup For iCloud.” At that point I get, “Your setup couldn’t be started because of an unexpected error.” After the first attempt at all this, all my calendar events disappeared from Outlook, although they are still in iCloud calendar and on my phone.
Sound familiar? Any ideas on how to solve this iCloud/Outlook issue? Thanks much in advance!

Be grateful for your help with Photoshop Elements which I have been using for several years. Does Elements need to have access to ‘My Pictures’ on Windows as when I remove Photos from ‘My Pictures’, Elements later, when backing up, gives a message that it is unable to ‘reconnect’ to the same picture on elements. On other occasions when removing a photo from Elements catalogue I also get a similar message when backing up saying ‘unable to reconnect’. 1. Is there a relationship between Elements and My Pictures and is Elements dependant on the Windows ‘My Pictures’? 2. Why does some photos in Elements in some cases cause them to multiply e.g. double; triple; quadruple; and on occasions even more? Is there something I need to do to stop this or an easy way I can remove the multiples without spending hours doing it manually one by one? Am I doing something wrong? My O/S is Windows XP SP2 and windows Vista on my Laptop. I have been using Elements 5 and have just purchased Photoshop Elements 8.0. (Upgrade) and about to install it. Be grateful for any advice as I do enjoy using the program if only I can resolve this issue. I am not a PC wiz and mainly use Elements to catalogue photos from which I compile collections and from them slide shows with music. The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

Problem with searching for 'empty' emails with BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH

I have got a small problem with BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH.
I Use this BAPI to search for Business Partners with the Email condition.
I put rhe Email to lv_email variable, it works ok.
    lv_email = ' '
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH'
      EXPORTING
        email = lv_email
      TABLES
        searchresult = lt_searchresult   <= returns no BuPas
        return       = ls_bapiret2 .
But I need to have a possibility to search for such Business Partners who have got no email address. Unfortunatellu when I pass an empty lv_email to BAPI, it returns no Business Partners whilst such BuPas exist in database.
Is there some possibility to search for those BuPas who have got no email address assigned?

Well,
it's up to you. The first part (Mcit-Project-ViewController-context-root) is the context root which you define in the view controller project. 'faces' is the name the servlet filter reacts on. You can't omit it but shorten it in web.xml. The rest is your directory structure. I'm not sure how to shorten this other as to move the jspx files back into the web root folder.
By the way an ADF faces app never uses the .jspx at the end of the url. If you specify '.jspx', you only render the page but don't start the work flow.

these inserts will store in two tables that I have to join in the cursor.
I have written cursor without passing cursor parameters. but here i need to pass acb_id and xyz_id along with alert_id.
then if these are saticified with alert_id 22 then I want to stop the loop run, else i need to continue the loop. bcause the abc_id and xyz_id are diff for alert_id 22
This is the issue I am facing!
Please let me know if you have any idea. Let me know how to use cursor parameters here and in loop.

Report for failed delivery with reasons

Hi all,
Maybe i am blind, but I cant find a way to do an automatic report or email a report for bounced emails with details.
So I need to get a report with the email address, message number and the reason for the bounce or failure for Example: bounced by destination server. Reason: 5.1.0 – Unknown address error ('554',
Any where I can do this?
I see the bounce logs have this information, but short of ftp'ing this daily then writing a script to email this out I cant see how to do this.
It would be nice to just have a daily email report

On box - no easy way that I can think of other than what you've mentioned. You could however accomplish this (as well as any other custom reports you would want to create) with SawMill (https://www.sawmill.net).
This used to be used heavily back when the WSA was first released as on box reporting wasn't up-to-par. However, it can be used for the ESA as well.

Report for CS15 tcode with multiple material nos. in selection screen.

I want to develop a report for cs15 but with multiple materials.
Like in cs15 we enter the material and its plant, then click on multi level check box and get the output. But cs15 works only for a single material. I want to develop a report in which i'll give multiple material nos. and then i should get the output for each material entered just as the output that would appear in cs15 for that material.
How do i do it.
I have tried but i'm not able to track back.

try develop a interactive report which lists all the materials in the first screen and when you double click on each of the material then call transaction CS15 output by skipping the first screen .Use set parameter to pass the material .

BUT AGIN FROM WHERE THE SYSTEM DECREASED THE AMOUNT TO 36,700
