User not able to save e-mails from public folder

Hi,
I have a email user with a complain that she is not able to save some e-mails from public folder, nor their attachments, nor to forward them to her own inbox. This happen not for all emails but randomly for some emails in her public folder.
She can open and read but got following  error message , while trying to save the attachment of the email
"Cannot save the attachment. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object. See the folder contact or your system administrator"
The following error occurred  when she trying to forward the email.
"Cannot open this item. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on the object. See the folder contact or your system administrator"
I have tried to grant "Edit All"  in the write permission area, later tried with "owner permission" too but still having the same errors.
I found out in some occasion when the email is read only then it cannot be forwarded, copy or print the contents.
I see emails in the public folder appeared with "Read only" but most of them can be saved and forward, only few appear with errors for the user. I did checked the emails "Restrict permission" setting and that display
with "No restriction".
How can I get rid of the errors and allow the user to save the attachment and also save the email in different location of the public folder.

Hi,
Please check if you can move these affected messages to Inbox folder.
And please check if the issue persists in OWA.
Does this issue affect only one user?
If this issue only affects one user, you can recreate Outlook profile to check result.

    In exchange, you have something called Send as permission as well. Try to give send as permission to your self from the user's mailbox.
    In exchange> Reciepient config> Mailboxes> user mailbox> right click> Full Send as permssion
    or,
    Add-ADPermission -Identity "user1" -User "[email protected]" -ExtendedRights Send-As
    After you add your self in send as permission you need to wait for some time to propagate the settings or you can forcefully reset the information store services
    That should solve your issue.

    User is not able to receive an email from SAP to Outlook.In SCOT the configuration to receive email has been set up and all other users are able to receive the emails except one user. Even the email address of the user is correctly entered in the user master record. What is the authorization required to be setup for this user from security perspective ?

    We have configured  the SMTP server in our system to send out mails, but we donot know the configurations for receiving mails. [ We are not using SAP exchange connector (is it needed?) ]
    I have read the note 455140 and 54617.
    But i am stuck on , What are the configurations to be done on the MS Exchange Server 2003 for redirecting the mails received in the inbox of a particular user to the SAP system.
    The note says it has to be configured to redirect mail to <hostname>: <port>  But where exactly do we define the routing rules.
    If anyone has a detailed document on what are the configurations involed in receiving mails, Please send it.

  • User not able to run a report from the portal

    Hi Friends,
    We have about 15 reports assigned to a Role.  When the user logs on to the protal under new analysis --> Role he/she can see all the reports. One of the user is able to run all the reports except one. the user exectutes the report instead of showing the report out put following error meassage is comming "User is not authorized".
    Can someone please suggest how come the user is able to see all the reports except this on.
    This report is available in the role, i have checked PFCG and the user has the access to this roll.

    As suggested I tried ST01, but unfortunately i dont have authorization for st01.
    I did get the copy user of the actual user and i exectuted the report using RSECADMIN, I did check the box with Log and able to execute the report from RSRT. In the output  was getting No Authorization, so i went back and checked the Log and in the Log it was showing the two Info Objects 0QUOTA and 0TCAACTVT do not have auhorizations.
    0QUOTA is available in the cube, so i will ask the security team to include this in the role will *, but 0TCAACTVT is not used in my cube or in MP then why is it showing up in the logs?. Can someone suggest me please?.

  • Not able to send e-mails from iCloud

    Anyone have solutions to not being able to send e-mails on icloud on Mac Book Pro. This just started in the past week. Not sure what happened.

    I am having the same or a similar problem. When I open iCloud in system preferences and tick on Mail I get the message 'mail can't enabled at this time - Wait a moment and then try turning on Mail again'. I did this several times and it didn't work. I then completely turned off iCloud completely and restarted it, but I was still unable to access mail using iCloud (I was, however, able to access all of the other iCloud services). I then waited three days, to see if the issue would resolve its self, but it hasn't. Any suggestions as to how I can resolve this would be appreciated.

    For your charter email account you could be using smtp.charter.net BUT charter, like virtually all other ISPs providing email service, blocks access to their outgoing server if your trying to connect to it outside their own network.  If you connect via WiFi throught your home internet it will work fine.  Their are only 2 options to combat this limitation:
    1.  Use authenticated SMTP (ESMTP)
    2.  Use a different SMTP server.
    For your outgoing mail settings for the charter account, use the smtp.charter.net with no SSL and yes for Use Authentication option.  Use the SAME user/password you do for the incomming.  If this doesn't work then either you subscribe to charter business class or skip to option 2.
    Option 2 is using a different server.  Typically you would just use the SMTP server if you device's ISP (Sprint) but Sprint is discontinuing their SMTP service and is only avail for long time legacy customers.  Google may not smile on this but for the outgoing mail server settings for the charter acct you can use the same settings from your gmail acct:
    smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
    Use Authentication: Yes (use the user and password FOR YOUR GMAIL ACCT, not charter email here)
    Use SSL
    Port: 465 or 587 
    This option is giving mixed results but these are the options when working with an email provider that blocks access of their smtp server from other ISPs.

    I have a user that is unable to fetch new mail as of Oct 10. Nothing has changed on his computer. He can view new emails on webmail/iphone, just not on his computer. The iphone has the same exact config as his computer.
    I have trashed his mail's plist and re-input configurations. Still not downloading new mail.
    He has 14000+ emails, but I don't think that's the limitation.
    Any other suggestions?

    Try going to Home/Library/Mail/<Account Folder> and deleting the MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded2 file; then restart Mail and see if that resolves the issue.

  • End users are not able to save interactive pdf form created with designer

    I am new to using LiveCycle Designer and have created a pdf form but my end users are not able to save edited form. Does this have something to do with whether the form is static or dynamic. If so, I am not exactly sure how to use the restorestate option to convert it back to static. I also tried to enable the "user rights access in adobe reader" under the advance menu and had no luck.
    My end users have acrobat reader 9 - do I need them to download anything else, maybe professional.

    In my Adobe Pro I don't see the option Reader Extend rather I enabled "Enabled Usage Rights in Adobe Reader" amd I figured this was somewhat the same. So if I enabled this option in Adobe Pro already and they are still not able to edit the fillable text slots or save it what other option do I have in figuring this out.

  • Users are not able to save pdfs after editing - Adobe XI. They do not use the Win7 explorer preview pane.  If they completely close the Win7 explorer window, they can save - Adobe XI thinks the preview pane is open when it is not.

    Users are not able to save pdfs after editing.  Product is Adobe XI, OS is Win7 64-bit.  When saving, an error pops up that the file cannot be saved, it is in use.  If they save as a different name, it works.  Found several forums/blogs/etc that suggest the problem can be solved by closing the Window7 explorer preview pane.  They don't use the preview pane.  I figured out that if they completely close the explorer window, they can save.  But this means they have to open and close explorer for each file.

    Hi, I would like to chime in and say that this problem has not yet been resolved. It is extremely annoying when all I do is highlight a document in the file explorer and I get 5 errors (evenly spaced out about 20 seconds apart telling me that "Microsoft
    Word Cannot Start (24)". These errors persist even after windows explorer and word are closed. And I don't want to start terminating processes just to make them stop every time.
    I'm a little frustrated with this problem and the other problems I've encountered with MS Office 2013 with file corruption, crashing, 2010 compatibility issues, and the whole host of errors when trying to actually do WORK with Word.
    I do work with long, complex reports in Word because that's the best way available for myself (and my coworkers) to use. However, I sincerely regret upgrading to Office 2013 because of it. I love it, all of its features, and its interface, but I simply cannot
    use it without problems.

    1. I've created 2 Bounded task flows and calling one task flow from another task flow using task flow call activity.
    2. In child task flow, i've created view activities with Train component. View activities have text fields, radios buttons, tables etc which can be filled by user.
    3. I want to save the page data to payload if I move to next view activity using Next button or by train bar.
    To accomplish this scenario, I'm calling a customized actionListener on click of Next button/Train Stop Bar in which I'm using below mention code :

    Yes, it is the same binding which is called from BPM Save button.
    I did not use the debugger but i tried to print the OperationBinding object which was showing me proper binding for update.
    Even when i tried to print the return value of invokeActionBean.action(); method, it print the proper string "closeTaskFlow".
    So if I see it logically, then I'm just trying to call the methods of InvokeActionBean from my customized method.
    If methods of InvokeActionBean not being accessed, or if it was not getting called, then it should not print the "closeTaskFlow" as return value.
    I only want to save page data into bindings once I'll move away from page precisely on moving next.
    If there is any other work around for this issue, please let me know.
    I've also tried to use Explicit/Implicit save points provided by ADF but that did not work too.

    I am using Oracle Developer6.0 . I am facing problem with reports. I am invoking reports from form using run_product.
    1. I could not able to save the report in text file . Whenever i try to save the report output in a text file.It gives dump and application get closed.
    2. In RTF format , it execute the query which i have given at the design time while creating a report . But while running i am passing query either through lexical parameter or passing value of where criteria user parameters. It display the output for the specified value. But when i save this report output in rtf file . It execute design time query and save that in a rtf file.

    Do not generate the report to .rep file, but rename/copy the .rdf file to .rep file and execute it.
