User status to prohibit automatic creation of PR

Hi Gurus,
I have scenario when project needs to be released in the beginning of the project for incoming order analysis of the project. Now if I release the entire project, the PR is generated automatically, on release. I want to restrict this.
For this I have created a user status. and I am trying to prohibit the creation of PR from project. But its not working.
Can anyone please help on this

I think I should now explain the scenario in detail.
The PR should be generated on REL , Necessary settings have been done. Now there is a need to do incoming order analysis, for this project should be released during the beginning only. Now the problem is that due to early release of project all the PR are created.
But in practical situation this shud not happen, PR is only generated when material is really required.Hence ideally only the desired activites/ WBS should be released as and when required.
Hence, if I change parameter to Never. No PR would be generated unless someone manually change it to Immediately. There are more than 500 materials on the project. So changing manually is not a good Idea.

I tried this for ME59N and struggled.
I think EXIT_SAPMM06E_013 cannot change EKKO (it only imports it as the exit is for posting customer data) and BAdi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST cannot change MEMORY because method SET_DATA uses mepoheader (and later mepoheaderx).
Check the two structures in SE11, in our ECC5 system mepoheaderx doesn't have field "memory" so the BAdi can work out its been changed (via method SET_DATA).
Even though lots of people have asked this question and the same exits/BAdi get highlighted I cannot see anyone confirming that they have managed to do it.
If anyone has then please share the details.

How can i set automatic change of user status(for WBS)?

Everytime when i create invoice for customer shipment using transaction code VF01, i need to change user status of WBS element manually in project to INTG in order to recognize the revenue. Is there any possiblity to change user status of WBS automatically after invoicing?
If it is, could any one please help me to resolve this problem?

I have Compressor 4 already, defined an own parameter set there (with 1024x680 resolution) but this was not displayed as an option in FCP X. I want to produce my resolution directly from FCP X, not produce it in another resolution and then convert it via Compressor. Let alone the fact that non of the FCP-included resolutions has a width-to-height ratio of 3:2 like mine. The solution would be to know where FCP stores its presets and to be able to modify them or add new presets.

Automatic creation of Generic Transactions

Hi colleagues
I am thinking about using generic transaction in our TRM implemetation. But I havn't found a way for creating them except manual enter via RCA00. I am sure there must be a kind of user-exit for their automatic creation (a sort of BADi or BAPi). Hope to get a hint from you.

Hello,
Using External Data Transfer Generic Transactions can be created in mass. You could even check transactions like RMCM where such generic transactions are created using data from cash management. Hence automating this creation is possible.

How to add new user status in Solman

Hello,
I wanted to add a new user status in Solman.i have added one new user status " reopen" . but when i checed it is showing as "no status".
I have also checked the table TJ30T, in this table we have 2 entry for all other user status one is in english and one is in german.
Please let me know how to add entry in this table or is there any other ways to add new user status in solman.

Explain the scenario where you want to create a new user status?
General remark:
Creation of new user status can be for 2 cases: Whether you want the status to show up in the status field or you want to only use the status to search corrections and the status is displayed in "Further Statuses" tab.
If you want to use the new user status for searching the corrections and this user status will be manually set, then you need to create the status in CRMBS02 transaction without specifying any status numbers.
Then the new status will be available in "Further statuses" tab and you need to manually set or unset the status.
If you need your user status to reflect in the status field then you've perform the following actions in SPRO:
1. Create Authorization key for the new status
2. Create the new status with status number and order of visibility; assign the authorization key to the status
3. Create the action which will set the status
4. Add the action in the action profile
5. Write the schedule condition required
These steps are on a high level. Hope this helps you to decide.

Can the user status profile function as system status profile?

One more question about the status profile..I create a status profile and assing it to a order type.After that,I create a PO using this order type..
Do we have to manually check the status "check box"in CO03 or we can make it automatically,(like the sytem status profile.When the components are withdrawed or goods recive,the status could change automatically?)thanks..

User status also set automatically as you set in BS02 according to Business transaction
for ex if initial user status is STA1 as default and you set to change on confirmation of order then as soon as you done the confirmation of order it would set as STA2 automatically

How to add new actions in customization setting of user status ?

I am tring to use user status for blocking the creation of new breakdown notification if one breakdown ntification is already pending on it. I want to set equipment under Breakdown status on equipment when breakdown notification created on it, but when i check for setting the action in user status customization setting, cannot locate the create notification there action there & also cannot add the same in it.
Can any body tell me how new action can be added there??

Network User Status still allowing requisitions in CJ20N

Hi,
I have configured a network user status to 'prohibit Material purchase requisition'.
This works when trying to create a requsition in ME51N - but still allows me to create a PR in CJ20N.
Can anyone think of why it would allow me to create the PR in CJ20N when the status is set?

I think it will not be possible to achieve the required result thru CJ20N.

Mark a user status in production order automatically through user exit.

Hi all,
I have a requirement....I have a user profile which has got 4 status one of them is MFAR.
I need to check this status through an exit automatically so that it appears in the status line
and does not allow for goods receipt at the time of order creation through CO01 .
I have earlier tried with EXIT_SAPLBSVA_001 but this is only for formatting the text line whether I want to display that status.So it is not working for my case.
I could not find any exit for checking the checkbox for user status MFAR.

Unable to block creation of sales document from Quotation thru user status

Dear Experts,
I have maintained a status profile in my Quotation document through the use of user status. I have defined a status to forbid creation of sales document if the status has not yet been set to "Approved".
However, even when the status is not yet "Approved", it still allows me to create subsequent sales document from this Quotation.
Anything that I have missed here?

It should not happen.
Please check the Object types for which the status profile is created. It should be for either Sales Order header or Sales order Item.
Make sure that the "create sales document" is "forbiddden" for the initial status only.
Also please check Low- High numbers for each status.

I am facing a problem on automatic updation of user status.As I have a process that on the basis of one field value in a quality notification I want to update the user status automatically.
I explored something with business process but not getting the right way to use it.
Please guide me if anyone deals with the same scenario or know more about using business process with user profile.

You will have to Develop a report to do this...
You should use FM CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to do this...
Details of how to use this FM for Updating Status could be found in CRM forum..
I would advice to consult your CRM Tech Team who are in best position to do this..

How to release user status for sales documents automatically

Hi All,
We have configured status profile for third party sales document type. This will stop creating PR from sales order. After chaning the status from STP to GO, system will create PR. But the problem here is user is going and changing the object status manully.
The business wants to release at a time many records automatically. Do we have any transaction code which we can use for changing the user status automatically for many orders?
We have tried V.26, but this is just report we can not change the status automatically,

No standard program exists for it, as statuses are always customized.
create a BDC program for status change and run in backgram as batch job.

We want that the system flag this status automatically when a order is scheduled twice or more in CM33
Is that possible?

Use program "PPPRBSEL" with a custom defined Selection Profile to select production orders if you want to pick the orders based on the required user status and also activate check box for "Reprinting", this program can also be scheduled to run in background to automatically print.
