Using 6533, how can I wait on REQ after latching ACK?

This seems like it should be fairly straightforward but I can't seem to get it. Does anyone know how I can wait for a pulse on the REQ line (using a PCI-6533 DIO board)? The catch is that the DIO board needs to pulse the ACK line before looking for a transition on the REQ line and I cannot reconfigure the port in time to read the REQ latch.
I am trying to: 1)set port data; 2) pulse ACK low (~100us); 3) wait for REQ pulse low (~100us); 4)read port data.

Typically for common handshaking type applications (burst, 8255), the acq and req lines are controlled automatically. However it seems like you would like to control these lines yourself.
It is possible for you to control acq with a software timed output. I have attached an example that does this with DAQmx. Since the control of the acq/pfi line is software timed, it would be difficult to ensure that the acquisition task does not start before the generation task (pfi2) goes low without missing a trigger. Perhaps you could wire the output from pfi2 and your req signal back to a digital lines where a pattern match for a start trigger would wait for acq and req signals to go low.
If you are just starting a new application and you are using the PXI or PCI 6533 I would recommend that you upgrade to DAQmx. To see the different names in DAQmx there is a good online document here. There is also a new help file for DAQmx here.

Yes, the email addresses need to be unique to each device. You may use the same Apple ID on each device, but the email address used by each device needs to be different.

The serial port seems to be working, and labview seems to be sending the data, but the problem is in which format does it send the data, because in hyperterminal i just input the string "JDX" and it sends it to my device, with labview it sends something but my device does not recognize it.

Hyperterminal adds the carriage return/line feed to the string which is
generated by the return key to send out the current line. LabVIEW simply
sends out what you tell it, so try to set the string to "Show \ Display"
format and add a \r or \n or \r\n to the command you want to send out.
Assumes of course that you set the right baudr
ate/bits/parity etc in
LabVIEW with the VISA property node, when opening the serial port.

It was easy to do prior to mavericks using system preferences (language and text), but now I can only submit a 2 letter word to replace, not a 1 letter word. I have tried using a space but it doesn't allow that. I would assume that most people would love to be able to type quickly without having to make uppercase I all the time (first world problem i know), so I can't understand why apple have removed this feature.

There is the shift key, or text replacement approach, providing you have enabled two things:
Edit > Substitution > √ Text Replacement
System Preferences > Keyboard > TextClick + to add a replacement

I[spacebar]
Press return
Quit System Preferences
Now, when you type ii, you will see a pop-up offering I.

To take a screenshot of the zoomed photo, press either the key combination
⇧⌘3 for a screenshot of the full screen, or
⇧⌘4 to bring up a selection rectangle: select the section of the screen, that you want to save.
The screenshots will be sent to your desktop; drag them from there to the iPhoto icon in the Dock to import them.

You could try downloading a program called Calibre. It is very good at converting files between formats. I use it all the time to convert PDF's from work to read on iTunes when I don't want to have to keep zooming in and out to read the actual text.
I know that iBooks will read PDF's but they can get pretty squashed down some times. Especially if the original font was small to begin with. So I run them through Calibre and then email them to my phone and open them in iBooks.

From where did you buy this "PIN"? And did you get an actual card, or did they just send you a number? If you got only a number, then you may well have been defrauded. You'll need to go back to whoever sold you this "PIN" to resolve the problem. Apple to the best of my knowledge does not authorize any company to provide codes rather than a physical card and hence probably cannot help you if you did not get a physical iTunes card or receive a gift certificate issued by the iTunes Store themselves.

Deleting an email account for the the mail app will not have any effect on ther AppleId and its use for other services. You need to delete the old ID and set up the new one for other services suxch as FaceTime, App store, etc.
It sounds like you are trying to set up a new ID rather that just adding your old one back in. Or maybe I'm missing something.

In order for a device to be tracked, it must have the Find My iPhone service turned on in Settings>icloud. The Find My iPhone app has nothing to do with this, it is only an app that you use to find other lost devices, so if you don't have the app on the iphone, download it from the app store. Then use that to track your ipad.
If you have not turned on the service on the ipad, then you can't locate the device.

I tried it, as well. The line breaks were respected in the PowerShell console, Programmer's Notepad, and Word; they weren't in Notepad.
You are using a Unicode file. Locale is what?
If you just want notepad compatible line breaks then do this:
del file.txt ; "$env:computername`r`n`r`n`r`n$env:userdomain" | add-content file.txt ;notepad file.txt
Look in hex to see that `n is ^L or 0xA and is only one character. CrLf is 0xD 0xA - two characters.
My programmers editors and VS all understand a single ^L as a line break so does PowerShell. Only DOS/Notepad and other utilitis don't understand this..
