Using API - move course from subsection to another?

Is it possible - using web services / Java API - to move a course from one section to another?
If so, which methods should I use? Either it is a single command (which I could not find), or it is a procedure by which where you recreate an entire album from scratch, by first getting its properties from the original location, then recreating that exact "structure" in the new section. Then what happens with the files one uploaded?
I'm very new to jsp, had to setup a server yesterday with Tomcat to try out the API.

It worked! The title wasn't copied over, however. I had to add:
destCourse.setName(course.getName());
destCourse.setShortName(course.getName());
to set the name. I had to set both, as it added newCourse to both the name and short name when ShortName was not specified. The Otherwise, it seems permissions copied over properly.

For the best of my knowledge, SET_OF_BOOKS_ID is populated at suppliers level but not used since all sets of books can share the same supplier.

Unable to move data from Infooject to another Infoobject in APD

Dear BW experts.
I have data in Infoobject1 with 10 columns and I have another Infooject2 with 11 columns.
I need to move data from infoobject1 to Infoobject2 both have identical fields except for the 11th column. In addition to filling up the common 10 columns, I need to calculate the data on the 11th column based on the previous record for each record. Hence I cannot move data directly from Inobject1 to Infoobject2.
I try to use Analysis Process designer. In this, I could consider Infoobject1 as the source but in the choice of the target, I do not see Infoobect but only see DSO and other objects not relevant for me.
How do I move data from infoobject1 to Infoobject2 using ABAP routine in the APD.
Kindly suggest.

Move costs from WBS to another

Dear Gurus,
I kindly ask you to tell me how can I move some costs (hour of personnel type of cost S43...) from a WBS on a project to a WBS on another project.
I know I can use KB21N: in that way I have to pull out costs from a WBS though the costs center and then do another movement in order to charge the costs on the WBS receiver always thourgh the cost center.
Is there a way to do it directly?

S43.. is of type indirect activity allocation,cost element category 43, hence can be used only with reference to activity allocation. Please use any other cost element, be it primary or secondary.
Or else you could cancel the original activity allocation through KB67 and renter through KB21N. You may also want to try reposting of activity allocation posting through KB65.
For number range, go to transaction KANK and enter the controlling area. Then click on Change groups icon on top left. Click on binoculars and search for KAMV (Manual Cost Allocation) This is SAP standard and most likely you will find it.

HELP! Trying to move master from one to another

I've got pretty much the same problem. Let me explain what I've done so far.
I uploaded photos to Album(Sledding) under Project(Winter). There were a few photos that belonged in the Album(Landscape) also under Project(Winter). So I dragged and dropped for Sledding Album to Landscape Album. I thought this would move them and not leave them in the original. But they were still there. So I went and tried to delete one, I got the message
"Managed master files stored in the Aperture Library will be moved to the Trash.
Referenced master files may be used by another project, library, or application. They will remain in their current locations unless you choose to move them to the Trash.
All versions, adjustments, and metadata will be permanently removed from your library. This operation cannot be undone."
Then went and check and the photo was removed from both albums and the project.
I've messed around and deleted one from each of the different albums and project just to see what would happen. And the same happens no matter what album or project I'm in.
I really need for someone to explain how this Master thing works.

Tried Robocopy and Richcopy but not having any luck , the files transfer but the permissions are not transferring with them , there taking on the permission of the new system.
Any suggestions

How do I move pictures from iPad to another device ?

My father intends to give me his iPad Air. Before I take over the iPad and reset it he had asked me to transfer all the photo's on it another device.
He has an apple SD Card reader that connects to the iPad so is it possible to transfer the photos from the ipad to the SD card ?
If not, what other options are open to me to save these photo's to an alternative device ?
My knowledge of how to use an iPad is very very minimal - I'm new to the iPad and currently struggling to understand how to use it.

Photos will NOT transfer off the iPad to the SD card. The camera connection kit is for import only.
Your easiest thing will be to use a service like Dropbox or other cloud service. Upload the photos there, download them where you want them to be. There may also be some photo apps that have better transfer services, but I don't have any to recommend.

Mail.app in Mavericks is incompatible with Gmail. I use Gmail. I have about 2GB of mail, most of it in a few dozen archive folders, stored on Gmail, and (I think) duplicated locally on my Mac Mini.
I think my best recourse is to switch to an email service provider that conforms to the IMAP standard (which Gmail does not). Assuming I find one, I will have both accounts, Gmail and the new one, in Mail.app. How can I move the mail from Gmail to the other account?

--> If all you want to do is keep your history, make a local folder on your mac and drag all the mail messages there (both se4nt and incoming). I am not sure what will happen if you later drag those into the new Xmail account

The user clicks on the line of the grid and click on the column to edit.
After him change or add value, ENTER key and have to move the focus to another column in the same line.
The way I'm doing, is moving to the column below.

Trying to move songs from 1comp to another- NEED HELP

I was orginally trying to move my itunes folder from my old comp to my new one. Easy enough right? Wrong. I copied the folder and put it on my 40gb ipod then went to put it on my comp. Well it only put bout 1/3 of my music like the first 15 folders. It started saying files were corrupt. Then I started getting the ! with the folder on my ipod. I tried reseting it but that doesn't work and it is fully charged. I'm using Windows XP. Plz help. I just sold my other laptop so I need to get these songs off the other computer.

I have a similar problem, my hard disk has been reformatted and my library of songs is now only on the iPod, can i transfer them back from the iPod to the computer or is my library now only accessible on my iPod.

How to move iPhone from one to another Mac?

We have two laptops and one iPhone. My contacts, calendar, bookmarks and notes sync between the two Macs and MobileMe and the iPhone. At present I sync my Photos, Apps and podcasts on my iPhone with my PowerBook, but since we are going on a trip and take along my wife's smaller and lighter MacBook, I'd like to sync from now on to her MacBook.
How can I "migrate" the iPhone to the other computer without loosing my applications etc. and the data on the iPhone?

The iphone will sync with one computer at a time.
When you sync to another, it will erase the current itunes content and pics from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer.
A forum search is an excellent suggestion. This is asked and answered quite often.
You can copy the entire itunes folder from the PB to the macbook. This should make the transition as seamless as possible. However, I believe that you would lose the content that is currently in itunes on the macbook as the new itunes folder would replace the old.

You talk to your network administrator(s) and ask them what permissions have been assigned to the user that the ColdFusion service|demeon is running as.
P.S. By default, on a windows machine, ColdFusion runs as a "localSystem" user, which usually has *no* permissions to other systems.

Hello Ameya,
The only one mvt type 321 is used to move material from QI to UR - Unrestricted. This can be done through MB1B transaction code (if QM module is not active) or using QA11 (usage Decision) as explained by Srinivas.
